~༺ :||  The pale mage looked out across the water, grimacing at the sight of water. Endless blue without the sight of any huge mass of land. Islands here and there, but where was Hyrule? How long had he been contained with the sword, or... where did that blasted thing end up? Even the people he saw didn't speak the same language.

Hand brushed across the ship railing and scarlet eyes lifted to the sails and sky. At least this could transport him back to Hyrule, right?

Ears picked up the sound of wood creaking under the weight of footsteps. A crew.

He'd have them take him back.

Vaati made way to the main deck that he might assert his demands, neither pleased nor entirely angry of this predicament where the waves remained ever present in his mind.

A normal person might rent a room at an inn. The stay would be a few short weeks. There were several well respected establishments in Phorora to choose from on that front. Inns. Hotels. Classy rooms and vacancies that would all but fight for his patronage and presence.

Diluc bought a home instead. A charming yet functional space located above a vetted business in the business district. Amenities. Luxury. All Diluc needed was the balcony on the upper level. Accessible. It could serve as a base of operations for himself and the staff that had accompanied him.

For his needs that would suffice. All the fancy architecture and embellishments were frivolous silver lining that cast nary a glow on the grim goals that constituted his true aim and purpose. Rooting out the evil that was casting a spreading shadow over Norad.

Today was long before him. Part of the first stage of his plan- outside of proposing to Bianca- was to have rumor of his presence and engagement spread. After being cooped up in the home for the few days a stretch of the legs was needed. Showing face. Casing the establishments. Mapping the alleyways.

Hillie had surely started the rumors while out on her errands, Diluc just had to give evidence to their validity.

Oh? But what was this shop? A smaller establishment nestled along a strip of buildings. Glass window offering a peek into some wonderful delicacies. And something sweet was just what he needed when bitter flavors and sour memories of his conversation with Bianca still itched at his mind. A quick diversion. Patronizing local businesses was always wise.

Meiko did her very best to visit the First at least once a month. Not solely to check in on the state of the world itself, but because she missed so many people. Especially --

Meiko found Ryne with little trouble in the marketplace and made an immediate B-line for the teen, waving as she approached.

"Your usual delivery Viera -- Viis is back wi'another round o'letters from th'Source," she greeted, handing over a few letters. "I trust nothin' else has gone awry in th'last few weeks?"

She tried not to overly gush, but she really was so proud of how far Ryne had come. She looked to be more confident every time she saw her, and always did all she could to impress that upon Thancred when she saw him next.

Sora would lightly press a couple of their fingers to their forehead, running it over their forehead to feel for the cut, they hadn't even realised that yet. The flinch when they did run their fingers over the area, okay yep that hurt a little.

They should probably accept the help so they would look up to Mipha now with a soft nod and a smile. They had a fuzzy feeling of something they could do similar, maybe for others too or some other kind of magick.

"I-I'd appreciate it Mipha..thank you."

After the healing, Sora would do their best to stand now carefully a soft smile. A little bit of a wobble but they held out their hands to balance a few deep breaths and they were stood, not feeling like they could walk right away but still.

"I'm fuzzy...but I think I was running...from something...?"

21 — your current RPC. I've been writing in the community on and off since about 5.3 or so, with a few breaks here and there, some longer than others. Took a long break and ended up coming back around May 2023 when Lanna suggested it. Completely closed off, only writing with people I already knew, then she suggested I follow Artie, who had only recently joined the fandom and was still at the start of Shadowbringers. Meeting them is easily one of the best things that has ever happened to me, so despite having had issues in this fandom previously, I owe it a lot. You know you've found something good when your static lead comments on you being noticeably happier.

22 — another RPC you’re part of. None, technically? This is my only RP blog and I intend to keep it that way. That being said, I am adding at least one muse from the Drakenier fandom, and I can't really say anything about that since I don't really intend to interact with the RPC specifically. The games cover just about every taboo subject there is and that's the kind of thing I'm extremely selective about.

23 — another RPC you’re no longer part of. Final Fantasy XV. I went backwards, from XV to XIV. I really enjoyed my time with this one and spent a couple years there, writing a multitude of characters. Noctis, Prompto and Verstael were some of the ones I enjoyed the most. I had a lot of fun when I was there, but fell out of it prior to Shadowbringers releasing because I started playing XIV and was too busy doing that to write anything.

Despite Akira's attempt to disappear from Victor's reach, this doesn't stop the stupid haxxor nonsense of Chromatus. Thus, right on time, Victor teleports into the room.

"You've got a stabbing to get to."

In an instant, both Akira and Victor both teleport to Akechi's current location. Although in that time, Akira's hands and legs are stuck together by some strange force.

"Alright Akechi-san, go stab this idiot till he fixes things or whatever," Also as promised, Victor lays out an assorted of over 100 knives, all different lengths and sharpness. "I'll just watch the show. Speak up if you need me," Popcorn's ready, let's see some suffering.

"We need to encourage a questioning mind, dear Detective Prince," Akira replies, relatively innocent smile on his face even though his glasses flash. "How else can we discover all cognitive psience has to offer?

"So if Loki did become pregnant, would those be mind babies? How do you intend to provide for your cognitive family?"

~༺ :||  Head was pounding, and his hands pressed groggily into his aching eyes. Teeth gritted in anger and pain. He hissed. Failed again. Again! Defeated by that damned hero, and the princess aiding him the entire time... What had went wrong, even that cursed sword wasn't used in their fight.

Wait.

Vaati pulled away his hands, squinting at what he saw. What he felt.

He wasn't in the sword?

Eyes turned skyward and it was twilight. ...or was it? This wasn't natural, but arms fell back onto the ground, too weak for any next course of action. A sigh escaped him where the mage continued laying there in dismay, too sore to move any more than what was already done, and only part of him was thankful for it. For that small comfort, perhaps he'd worry about what happened and where was later after a short rest.

There were curious footsteps approaching. Cautious ones, but he was too weak for that amusement. Vaati instead would murmur a tired warning.

"Don't touch me."

"...excuse me? The circus? Difficult to pack when I haven't unpacked. Not that I want to burden you so quickly." A beat, Diluc clears his throat lest his tongue escape him. "I apologize if I offended you. Maybe you found something funny with my introduction-" The tone used had departed from the prepared declaration and decorum-laden discussion with her father. Now that they were in private, he had ... hoped to keep up some of that mantle. Exasperation had mixed in with the confusion.

Warnings had been given to Diluc. That the daughter of Jasper de Saint-Coquille had her own quirks. Friendly advice while setting up this... harmless deception. Yes. Some level of standoffish behavior is to be expected with arranging a marriage. Bianca, however, was already about rivaling his own when dealing with the Knights.

"You had struck me as someone who would appreciate formalities and respect, miss Bianca. I wasn't being… a clown... I've seen a circus before, and I assure you I am a far cry from being so frivolous." Though perhaps he had laid it on a little thick beforehand. For all his business practices, the young scion had damn all experience with marriage.

But to drive out the villainy that lurked in the darkness...

Sora had once again excepted a jump as they called it at this point. In one place one moment and then into the unknown the next. Right now they had just stumbled out from where they had suddenly come to be.

Hand on their head from a headache and slightly nauseous feeling that had come with this sort of travelling - something that Sora and their invisible to everyone else patron was trying to work on.

"...I-I'm so sorry I know it's a strange thing to ask."

She's super lovely and funny and a very talented artist and writer. I'm not as well versed on her newer muses since the change of blogs but she always puts so much care into her writing, her characters have a lot of depth and honestly i always think its so cute to just be forever matching up with your partners muses. Affection through writing and shipping is something that means a lot to me and my partner too so i think its wonderful
