I made these buttons for my little friend and her best friend. They have been perfect entertainment in the pram while walking around town. This is a sensory toy as the buttons make a fantastic clicking sound when shaken, and are great for exploring with their mouth and hands. I also love that I can teach my friend about shapes and colours. I cut the string very short, so that my friend would not wrap it around her neck. I bought the buttons here and the shoe laces from here. BUTTONS ON A STRING INGREDIENTS Large buttons String or shoe laces INSTRUCTIONS Thread the buttons onto the string, and tie a double knot (very securely). NOTES I cut the string very short, so that my friend would not wrap it around her neck.
