I just wanted to point out how funny it is just how wrong the "Alhaitham is a robot!!!" crew were. Like no, my man just ran out of fucks to give. He's just tired and and probably on the spectrum. He just wants to sit somewhere and read a book in peace, but he's got work to do, and if he does it efficiently he can go back to doing nothing and just vibing.

Also, i 100% see Kaveh as having ADHD, and Alhaitham as autistic. And i just think that them being roommates who both have neurological issues but kinda don't understand that the other does too, just in a diffrent way, would explain their dynamic and constant arguments quite well, since one needs order and rules to function properly, and the other cant process shit unless it's chaotic and spontaneous, and keeps forgetting about stuff

I'll be honest the Al Haitham robot/ experiment/ desert king theory all have the air of just people not understanding not even autism but just introversion.

People genuinely can not get why a person might not want to go to the top or don't like going out to parties and making many friends. Like, while I do think Al Haitham is autistic, but he's introverted first and doesn't gain much in social interactions, so he avoids it because he it hinders his easy life. Like my dude is never forcing his life on he one He just wants to fucking vibe it's great.

I also do like ADHD Kaveh it's pretty funny because I mentioned before I do think Al Haitham is trying to help and care for Kaveh but in his own way, the makes sense to him. But Kaveh absolutely takes it the wrong way.

My take: Nice to meet you

This is a very common greeting that, in this case, literally means "please be kind with me" but that in no way it would ever be translated as this. It can be translated in many different ways since there's no equivalent in english. For example, in the next picture I'd translate it as "Please take care of me" (since he's signing up to a hike, I think)

There's an emphasys on how this is a very unsual sight. For the salesman it's refreshing to see such a change of pace from Takara who probably tends to avoid people

The literal meaning in this case is not "trouble" but "something". As in, "is there's something (I want to say/that is happening/I want to show you/...)", hence why Takara asks for clarification as Taishin could be refering to a lot of things

Again. Can be translated in many ways. In any case, here he's understood he's not welcome
