the subtle touches when you’re together; hands brushing, pinkies almost interlocking, your fingers tapping his arm to get his attention, his hand on the small of your back for a brief second when you move through a crowd; as if your bodies are simply drawn to each other

the urge to adjust your headband or to brush a strand of hair behind your ear when you’re too lost in thought to notice, only to snap out of it and look at him with those curious doe eyes, so full of life

the way your tongue pokes out between your lips when you patch up his wounds after a mission together; you’re so focused on his well-being that it makes Kakashi’s heart melt

your mumbled “you’re too reckless, i worry about you” that reveals just how deep that love for him runs, making it impossible for him to shove his own feelings aside any longer

the small gasp you let out when he pulls down his mask to kiss you with hunger and an unknown softness, as if he was afraid of waking up from the sweetest dream

realizing he’s not dreaming at all when you’re lying tangled in the soaked sheets together and try to catch your breaths, skin on skin, sparking little fires everywhere

your hand on his chest, feeling his fluttering heartbeat, eyes glued on your fingers as they wander down lower his stomach, until his cock is twitching in your fist and shortly after inside of you again

the way you lean over him when he’s sitting at his desk in the hokage office, pointing out something on the scroll in front of him, but you’re making it so hard for him to focus with your chest pressing against his shoulder and that sweet smell of yours entangling him

the startled sounds you make when he wraps a blanket around your shoulders after you’ve fallen asleep in your office once again, and the way you drift back into sleep when you notice it’s him and that you can feel safe here

your apologetic smile when he’s scolding you the next day for working too much; as if he wasn’t missing out on sleep for the sake of the village and doesn’t secretly admire your passion and drive (being oblivious that maybe, maybe, you just want an excuse to spend more time by his side) 

the small “oh” coming out of your mouth one night, when you’re in the archive together, searching for one specific scroll, but instead his lips finds yours and suddenly your fingers are in his hair and his are pulling you closer by the hips and that scroll is completely forgotten (it was never about the scroll)

the tension between you unloading when you straddle his lap and all the useless fabric between you is shoved aside hastily so you can sink yourself fully onto his thick length

feeling you tremble on top of him until he wraps his arms around you, holding you so close to him while he slowly works you open, his lips on your neck, his dark, calm voice whispering sweet nothings in your ear while you clench around him

Just saw you had your request open and I just have to ask for scenarios for the Konoha Founders getting caught making out with their s/o not inherently in a sexual way but more suggestive and yk romantic kind of just showing their appreciation of having their s/o by their side in a passionate way (I just think their reactions would be hilarious especially if it's their sibling catching them so bonus for Madaras scenario if Izuna is still alive)

Madara Uchiha

Madara had kept his eyes on you all day, you had smiled and greeted the people walking past you. Your kindness and warmth create a bridge between him and the villagers. Konoha was still new and many villagers were still frightened and on edge with a Uchiha being part of the foundation of the village, the tension of war still looming the citizens were on edge but yet people were attracted to your kindness.

He watched as a child handed you a flower and he could feel his heart race, as you put the flower in your hair and smiled, your eyes catching him, a beautiful blush hinting at your cheek, “What?” You questioned.

“I am realizing we didn’t have alone time in a while,” Madara was hinting towards a small alley wedged between two houses, “and how beautiful you look,” he took his hint grabbing his lover’s hand he lead them to some privacy behind the buildings. His fingers explored his lover’s body while his lips captured theirs and tasted his lover’s lips.

He was in a warm embrace he didn’t notice a familiar chakra approaching them as he was caught in your embrace. A clearing of a throat caught his attention and Izuna stood at the end of the alleyway with a cat-like smirk. “I see you are busy,” Izuna grinned finding amusement in his brother's cheeks turning a bright shade of red.

Tobirama Senju

“You completely missed your target,” Tobirama was leaning on the tree in the training ground. His eyes were closed but still, he knew you missed your target. You had asked him to help train as your skills with the Kunia have been lacking, you know how serious Tobirama was when it came to training.

You had gotten better after an hour of training with him instead of hitting the ground or throwing the Kunai past the dummy you had managed to hit the marker. But it wasn’t good enough, you wanted to hit your target a few times but not in the bullseye you wanted, and not with the level of skill Tobirama would have hit it.

“Do you mind helping me instead of just standing there,” You huffed your arms on your waist.

He nodded walking towards you, wrapping his arms around your waist he was more than willing to help guide you with the skills you needed. He froze suddenly aware of intimate the scene would look to passersby he would have pulled away but he liked being this close. His hands went to your chin tilting your head so he made eye contact with him and he locked your lips with yours. It was short and sweet and everything you imagined.

“I am sorry,” a voice called out, Hashirama had been walking towards you two but was now changing directions, “I will ask another time,” his face red.

Tobirama also pushing looked away, “That is enough training for today,” he said clearing his throat.

Hashirama 

Work had piled up since the war ended and the village was created, Hashirama sat in his office staring at all the paperwork he had to read and look over. A few of them were letters of admiration, but most were letters from villagers asking for help and wanting to send ninjas on a dangerous mission. Life had been peaceful for the most part after the war but some stragglers chose to break the rule and make life harder for citizens. Thugs really.

He didn’t look up when the door opened and you walked in, your fingers brushing on his back and catching his attention, “hey,” you whispered, with a shy smile. He smiled back at you his arms reaching out inviting you to sit on his lap. You gladly accepted his offer taking a seat in his lap, “you were busy all morning, and I was worried about you,” you said placing a hand on his cheek. He smiled and nibbled on your finger tasting you.

“I am sorry,” he said wrapping his fingers with yours, I just got busy,” he kissed your temple before he kissed your lips. You tasted so good so sweet like the sweetest candy, and he was being treated for going through so much work. You were both caught in the kiss your fingers tangling with his hair before pulling away for some air.

“Are you two done?” A stern voice caught both of your attention. Tobirama stood in front of the desk his face also red while he showed his irritation.

𓆃 He’s a little grumpy and serious on the outside, but he’s a big softy. Really! Tobirama loves very deeply. He’s just not the type for grand or public gestures. 

𓆃 Tobirama is the chivalrous type and will pay the dinner bill, hold the door open for you, and walk you home without question. He was raised to be polite, but mostly, Tobirama really likes having clear rules and standards in a relationship

𓆃 He likes knowing that what he’s doing is right, so any deviation from his usual routine or whatever he might have been taught about what is “polite” will absolutely cause a brief friction

𓆃 As long as your communication is clear and straightforward, you can usually glaze over these moments of misunderstanding. Holding the door open for Tobirama, getting him flowers, or otherwise things that he usually does for you seems to be something Tobirama actually likes

𓆃 He doesn’t like making a show of it, though. He’ll thank you, and then the rest is up for speculation

𓆃 Tobirama is very honest. Which is great since you know he’ll never lie to you. You don’t think he’s ever lied to you about anything, but it also means that he oftentimes says things things very bluntly.

The Senju Clan

People

Compared to the Uchiha clan, who are phenotypically rather monotonous, the Senju clan had a very diverse population with a wider range of skin tones, eye and hair colors. There were generally very little restrictions when it came to marrying into the clan and becoming a part of it. The only traits most of the Senju shared were that of fine, straight hair whilst the Uchiha had thick and dark hair with curls not being uncommon.

The reason the Senju died out were two sides of the same coin - with many of the clan's members birthing less and less children, and those who did marrying outside of the clan to the point where there are many Konoha ninjas nowadays who are part Senju but may not even know it.

Traits and Abilities

The Senju were rather unspecified, wanting to hone their skills in all three fighting styles, though I like to think that Taijutsu was one they particularly excelled in. Once one's movements were fast enough to be evaded by the base sharingan (Mangekyou sharingan was, depending on the source material, either extremely rare or nonexistent), the Senju had an easier time fighting the Uchiha. Many of them became weapons and taijutsu specialists, making me think that Tenten might be part Senju and her idolization of Tsunade was a way to connect with her roots and get to know a fellow Senju.

Another skill of the Senju was wood style, which was a skill many Senju before Hashirama posessed, but they rarely ever utilized it in battle. Said ability was caused by a point mutation in the exome, prompting Orochimaru to later carry out experiment's on embryonic DNA to artificially induce said point mutation, killing dozens of newborns in the process.

Religion

While the Uchiha followed the way of Shintōism, most of the Senju were buddhists, like their distant relatives, the Uzumaki. Initially, the people living in the country of fire were engaging in both buddhist and shintōist practices, but with the continued rise of war between the shintō-believing Uchiha and the buddhist Senju, these two religions were more or less divided.

The Senju and the Uzumaki

The establishment of Uzushiogakure in the whirlpool country was received with mixed feelings from its inhabitants. Most Uzumaki, although practiced in the arts of combat, preferred their pacifistic lifestyle of teaching their ways on paper, and not on the battlefield. This instability made it easier for the hidden mist village to send colonialist forces, killing most of the Uzumaki in fear of their congenital abilities. And with the Senju living more and more decentralized and being too occupied with themselves, Uzushiogakure lacked the manpower compared to Kiri's extermination force.

The Senju's Legacy

Nowadays, after Konoha was founded, the Senju started living more and more decentralized, therefore there wasn't such a thing as the "Senju compound". The language of the Senju was adapted as Konoha's official language, causing the other hidden villages to adapt it as well. (You can read more about my thoughts on language in the Shinobi world here.)

There were shrines for both buddhist and shintō believers in the village, but once Hashirama became the first hokage, more and more citizens adapted the Senju's religion of buddhism, with the shintō believers dwindling in numbers. Tobirama's segregation policy did not help in the slightest; although the Uchiha, who believed in family unity and support, lived closely together, being redlined and pushed into the same profession felt patronizing. But even though the Senju as a clan is no more, their legacy continues on, in good ways, and in bad.

Tobirama’s heart swells with joy as she accepts his offer and pulls him into a passionate kiss. After all these years, after all the pain and regret, he finally has a chance at redemption, at the life he always wanted but never dared to hope for. As their lips meet, he pours all of his love, his longing, and his devotion into the kiss, savoring the taste of her, the feel of her body pressed against his own.

When they finally break apart, Tobirama takes her hand in his, his eyes shining with a mix of happiness and determination. “I promise you, my love, that I will spend every day of the rest of my life making up for lost time, for the years we wasted apart. I will be the husband, the father, that you and our children deserve.”

And as they stand there, hand in hand, Tobirama feels a sense of peace wash over him, a belief that even in the face of all that has come before, there is still a chance for a happy ending. He knows that the road ahead will not be easy, that there will be challenges and obstacles to overcome, but with her by his side, he feels ready to face anything.

Together, they walk into the future, ready to build a new life, a new family, and a new legacy. And as the sun sets on the village they both love, Tobirama knows that he has finally found his place, his purpose, and his home.

Yet finally, here I am again! And with the Senju brothers no less!

Hashirama

- (Y/N) does it on purpose, just to see how long it takes him to notice the marks on his skin. Her lipstick color is extremely striking, a deep red that stands out against his tanned skin. There is no way for it to go unnoticed.

- It will take him a good long while to realize. He'll walk all over the village, attend his meetings, take care of all his responsibilities, and even take a nap in the Hokage's office before he notices.

- It's not even him who sees it, Tobirama points it out in a mixture of indignation and anger at his older brother's lack of professionalism. The man is the most important figure in the entire town, the most powerful shinobi in all the nations, and yet he fails to see his wife's lipstick on his neck.

- He even has some on his cheek, if I may. Madara noticed it earlier, but under Izuna's advice opted not to say anything about it, and let him wander around with the love records of (Y/N) on his skin.

- Finally, and when he notices it, he can do nothing but laugh gleefully, adoring the fact she left a reminder of her affection on his flesh, a red mark of companionship throughout the day. When he gets home, he will kiss her until suffocation.

Tobirama

- Outraged and angry at his brother walking around the village with ridiculous red lipstick marks on his face and neck, (Y/N) catches him off guard and does the same. The Senju was distracted enough with his personal investigations and running after Hashirama to notice the bright pink adorning his cheek.

- No one dares to say anything about it. Everyone notices, and Tobirama feels weird stares all day long, as people glance at him and analyze whether to warn him or not. They all desist, for this man is scary.

- He attends a number of meetings, and it is only in the privacy of his laboratory that he becomes aware of it. At his desk, he rests his elbow on the wood and places his cheek on his hand, feeling something sticky on his skin. He withdraws his hand in surprise and sees a pink mark.

- He tries to figure out where it may have come from as he walks to the nearest mirror, sulking and thinking about how he had it all day long and no one said anything. Hashirama probably didn't notice it, but Izuna and Madara have no excuse - he trained with the young Uchiha for a good part of his afternoon!

- Seeing the clear pink lip mark on his red tattoo, he abandons all current research and projects, quickly returning home and taking care of (Y/N) as he sees fit in the face of such audacity.

I always like to think of scenarios of Uchihas and Senjus from like. the warring clan era. getting transported to the present time (which in these scenarios is like a bit after shippuden time except I completely ignore canon and make my own stuff up) to live there permanently (time travel shenanigans that don’t change the time stream) just cause of all the misunderstandings that would happen due to their worldview from their time

Mainly I like to think about Naruto and Sasuke sparring in front of them because Sasuke wants to show off in front of his clan and Naruto is always down to spar, but like always with these two, they can’t stop themselves from going all out and the clans interfere thinking they’re actually trying to kill each other

And then Sasuke, because he always does this, does that thing where he puts his body in front of Naruto to protect him and won’t let his clan hurt him, and they’re all like “are they…together? is that good for us? like a political marriage thing?” because they can’t comprehend that Senju and Uchiha politics just straight up don’t exist anymore

Is that what would actually happen? Probably not! But I love the idea of them seeing Tsunade and Naruto and thinking of Naruto as like essentially heir to the Senju and Uzumaki clan, and some of them are like “should we get Sasuke and Naruto together to ensure peace between the clans?” and the other half is like “should we keep them away from each other so nothing happens (cause you know some of them would be suspicious of one of them) to ensure peace between our clans?”

"Oh, You're here! I didn't notice how you came in" Sakuro got up and scratched his head sheepishly. "sorry about the mess... The recon mission got a little... heated" he bit his lip, averting his gaze from your eyes.

You look around, taking in the gruesome scene, people and zombies alike scattered about, some had bullet holes, some were missing body parts. even though you were used to the dead by now, three years had passed since the Zombie virus breakout. people screaming and dying, either from being brutally murdered by one-another or eaten alive by the zombies left and right, you still had the urge to vomit from the stench of the rotting flesh.

You covered you nose and mouth with your hand, brows furrowed from disgust.

The man in front of you, Sakuro Haruno, as he introduced himself earlier had been given an order from a man named "Tsubasa Senjū" to go out scavenging for food and perhaps any survivors.

And that's how you two met. It has been a week since the encounter with the pinkette and his team.

Tsubasa had paired you up with him and Ino for the past few missions, since you didn't really know anyone else, and therefore couldn't trust them. all of them were weird in their own way, you mused in your mind. Inochin Yamanaka or Ino, for short, was a tall blonde-haired male. The man was good with scouting and scavenging missions like these. he had boasted multiple times about it. He knew where to find what and always whipped out an escape plan out of the most unfathomable death or life situations. He was obsessed with his hair, therefore an extra bag was needed for conditioners he would stuff in them.

Then there was Sakuro: The man was around 6'2, taller of the two best friends by an inch or two. His skin, unlike the blonde male, was covered with small scars and big gashes from the three years of hell they had been living in and some from his time in the army, his frame was bulkier than Ino's but also lean-ish. He was an ex-military, served five years, and was a combat medic, a very useful and valuable position in their current state. Unlike Ino-kun, Sakuro prided himself on his monstrous strength and medical knowledge, inheriting his combat style from his sensei Tsunade and his non-official sensei during his boxing and wrestling time, Ashura He was an apprentice of their current group leader, Tsunade, an ex-veteran, of two great wars. you later found out that the two had met during his service with Tsunade as his superior and Sakuro helped open a hospital in their old town village after his service. They trained many medics in their wake. Those very medics and comrades would soon fall into the misfortune of the current world. Aside from Tsunade, he had no biological family. His parents passed away during the first days of the walker attacks, being the "easy prey of the food chain". That, you two had in common. Your own parents and sister died in the crossfire of guns and Zombies.

Over the short period of time of hanging around with him, he slowly opened up to you and even managed to teach you how to use various types of weapons, like hunting knives, shuriken, and kunai, which was awesome, senbon and guns. He preferred hand pistols, hunting knives, and fists though. It was basic-level self-defense but it was good enough so you wouldn't die from some unfortunate encounter with a walker or a man and hold back the team.

Over the week, you managed to grow fond of him, but one thing that never ceased to both awe you and frighten you at the same time was the man's capability to shatter bones and rip bodies, shoot them down with an accuracy only an ex-fighter would have and still manage come out uninjured and almost, comically squeaky clean from the close-combat fights.

Shaking your head you came back to reality. "come on, Sakruo. this is not the time to be fooling about. The amount of noise your havoc has made will surely draw more walkers our way. me and Ino-san managed to scavenge a decent amount from this warehouse. Time to go."

The pink-haired male looked down at you, standing tall over 6'2. "Yeah, sure. let's go pipsqueak." he ruffled your hair.

You growled at him, swatting his hand away "Hey! stop calling me that!"

He chuckled and headed for the door. "Sure, pipsqueak. I'll stop calling you pipsqueak when you grow an inch or two taller, But I guess that won't be happening anytime soon now, will it?" he teased, making you even more flustered and angry.

infuriated by his remark, you ran after him "Hey, wait up, damn it!! i ought to teach you a lesson!!!" you yelled after him with your fist up in the air, promising a good beatdown.

As soon as you stepped out of the warehouse, throwing angry cusses Sakuro's way, distantly you heard a choir of groans.

A herd was coming your way.

You two looked at each other with wide eyes before both of you got in the car. Incohin started the car and drove away into the sunset.

𓆃 Even when you have your successes, Tsunade isn’t the type to jump up and down for you. She’ll offer you a kind smile (if that) and a nod and a simple acknowledgement of your good work.

𓆃 And you know what? It actually feels great. 

𓆃 She’ll ask if you feel proud. She’ll lay out all of your accomplishments, have you look at the aftermath of her latest test and ask you how you feel.

𓆃 She wants you to take pride in your own work, not constantly look to her for approval

𓆃 For as harsh as Tsunade can be about you slacking, a good portion of your time spent with her is with her vices. Whether it be gambling or alcohol, it’s unfortunately something that comes with her.

𓆃 Running away from gambling debts or helping her home when she’s wasted is just something that’s a part of being her apprentice.

𓆃 Not to mention the clerical work that gets pushed on you when she doesn’t want to do it. 

𓆃 Easily the most demanding of the Three Sanin. Very critical. Detail oriented and will make you cry. But, damn, does she care about you. And Tsunade would be damned if her student didn’t become one of the very best.

Languages in the shinobi world, part 2

Now, almost a year later after my first post about the languages spoken in the hidden villages, and in light of another worldbuilding post I am working on, I wanted to add a little expansion to this language-type heacanon I have going on, which explains some inconsistencies my first post had created.

Official vs Spoken Languages

Now, after Konoha was founded and other villages followed suit, a common language had to be found in order to communicate. During the founding years of Konoha, there was a big debate on whether the language of the Senju or the Uchiha shall be used as an official language. The Uchiha, being fast language learners themselves, begrudlingly agreed upon the use of the Senju language (Japanese) in hopes of establishing peace by giving up such a key part of their identity as a clan and ethnical group. The Senju language quickly established itself as the standard spoken language in the ninja villages before it spilled over to the capital cities of their respective countries, replacing the previously spoken langues from then on.

The Thing About Uzushiogakure

In my head, the wave country are the remains of the pool country once allied with Konoha until other villages (mainly Kumo and Kiri) eradicated the Uzumaki clan and with it, its culture and its language. I'm sure there are some idioms and sayings from the Uzumaki language that have found their way into the language spoken in the shinobi world to this day, giving the Uzumaki language a little way to continue on, despite the majority of its speakers being dead.
