The first time Dave sees you?? HARD. hard as a goddamn rock every fucking time he sees you. one glance and he's hard for DAYS. he's kind of embarrassed because he thought he wouldn't be so horny by now. He's been doing his vigilante thing in secret for a couple years now, and somehow still has not managed to get any pussy ever. so when he saves you from some purse snatcher or some drunk guy outside of a bar, he's just staring while you thank him. you're worried for a minute, worried he's gonna laugh or make some creepy comment like guys tend to make, but no.

he's looking at you like he's seeing god herself. he's flushed but it's not from the fight. he's pitching a tent that could house a family of four on a weekend camping trip and he's looking at you with this dumb, lovestruck expression, opening and closing his pretty mouth without being able to choke out any words.

it's at that exact moment that you recognize him. kickass, the kickass is Dave, the nerdy guy with a huge obvious crush on you. Maybe you know him cause you've seen him around your college, maybe you're always stopping by his work or vise versa, maybe you've just bumped into each other a few times when you're getting coffee. regardless of how you know him, you know him. you'd know that look anywhere. you thank him with a kiss on the cheek, shamelessly pressing your soft curves against his body while you do, and this motherfucker moans in the middle of the street. He chokes and sputters and tries to cover it up and act all tough, but his voice cracks a little as he tells you to get home safe.

you find him the next day (as Dave of course) and use some flimsy porn sounding excuse to get him alone at your place, one thing leads to another and before you know it he's cumming his pants just from a little kissing and touching. he's so embarrassed and he cannot BELIEVE it when you tell him you think it's cute. you pull him back for more and the rest is history. to say Dave is obsessed with you is an understatement. he loves EEEEEVERYTHING about you. Hello hello! I read your tidbits for plant ww au and if you don't mind me asking, how come ww is no longer able to verbally communicate? Did dying and reviving take away some of his physical capabilities? Or is that simply a consequence of becoming half plant? 🤔 ww being alive is all that matters but I'm so curious!

hello!! at the time, i think i made it that way because of him becoming half plant-ish? admittedly, i didn’t give the logistics too much thought but he doesn’t make a lot of sounds and doesn’t speak, like dependent plants. it Probably means that something physically has been affected, but i haven’t researched enough into what i want that to be :’] i also think since he woke up again, he hasn’t felt the particular urge to communicate verbally/found viable enough solutions to make do. he isn’t able to communicate with plants either in the shared consciousness way.

if i go deeper into this au, i might change more things around… i’ve already started adjusting what capabilities he should have as being a revived guy from a little less than half of vash’s power + love. ashamed to say i haven’t given too much thought into plants hcs and full capabilities either!! i always forget what they’re capable of in canon ;;

anyway, i hope that answers it!! and here’s some doodles i drew while thinking of how to answer this question!

"Oh, come on!" Danny yelled out as he found himself on his butt in front of the same display for the third time. He picked himself off the ground with a groan before taking the pocket watch out of his bag. He shook it before holding it to his ear. "Is this thing broken?" Then, Danny's face soured as he continued, "Or it's just Clockwork messing with me. Again."

"Godamit," the halfa swore as he put the pocket watch back in the bag. "The guy has got to learn to ask for help."

The older ghost had a bad habit of sending Danny wherever he thought the timeline needed him most. And sure, the halfa didn't want the world to end, but getting thrown into situations was not his idea of a good time. "At least nobody's shooting at me this time," he grumbled to himself. Danny sighed before giving the room a look over.

His eyes stopped on a plaque that was just readable in the faint moonlight. "Flash Museum, huh?" Danny read aloud. "Doesn't ring a bell." The halfa gave the entrance a last once-over before starting down the darkened hall that stretched further into the building.

Time to find whatever Clockwork had deemed at the newest 'Threat to the Timeline'.

Wasn't planning on sending more Karlach the Kalanchoe blossfeldiana updates, but I was super excited to share this.

Karlach is blooming... like, ALOT. More than I've ever seen before. Every single stem has so many beautiful flower buds, and it won't be long before they bloom into bunches of beautiful light pink flowers. I knew she seemed to be doing a lot better in a new pot with better sunlight, but a part of me was always sort of waiting for her to bloom again as a final confirmation that she was happy and healthy, and wow, is she ever showing it. I can't thank you enough for your help and advice with her. It's because of you that she's doing so well and will have all these beautiful flowers to show for it.

Hey fellow milkweed nerds of Tumblr I have a question.

So. Swamp milkweed. It's pink! That's pretty cool. I wanna know how pink.

Because whenever I google Swamp Milkweed, whether its to look for seeds or plants for sale or just to show other people, the flowers look like this.

Thats Fucking Hot Pink. This bright ass pink is what drew me to the plant in the first place. If I were to find my Dream Swamp Milkweed, it would be this pink.

However, a lot of the times, I end up finding swamp milkweed that looks more like this.

Its a much lighter, more of a strawberry-milk pink. These are pictures I took from my own swamp milkweed plant, but from the pictures I've seen in my gardening server, a lot of them have plants in a color similar to this.

So what I'm curious about is. If you grow swamp milkweed, or have seen it growing in the wild, have you ever seen it as pink in the first example? Or is it just Photoshop magic? And if you do have it that pink... do you have any seeds you'd be willing to share?
