Wow, what a day. im pooped. it began fine. I mads soup. had delicious kimchi. bubbly and effervescent. vibing with some good tunes.

Blur. Blur. Im in my room. It all gets kind of bad and I RL. im having flashbacks, reading old messages from abusive ex (cuz im foolish) and realizing it was all really bad. i cant stop though, because im so fixated on 2022 recently. and memories surge. I get so many emotions, i feel horrible. I *** to make it stop. It sucks. But it works. I feel ashamed though. 2 plans are in the air- my sister and my friend both asked me to hang out with them. i feel ashamed for not seeing them. especially my sister. i text my friend though out the day. maybe this sunday and next Tuesday i will make some amends & actually hang out w them

blur blur. I decide to take a shower. first i get a hit of sm weed. im on my period and its a heavy day. i use reusable hand-made pads. I kneel in the warm water and find comfort in wrenching the menstrual blood out of the pad. so red. i love being connected with my own blood. It takes like 5 minutes for it to finally get clean. i try a new hair technique and i like it- brush conditioner in while its in your hair and rinse with cold water later. i feel clean. i needed to feel clean after all the things i was remembering earlier.

i get inspiration to go to the library. to scan some art and a childrens book that is out of print. and to drop off some finished books in the free section of our library- 5 finished books. Im behind on selfcafe though. I make myself do some laundry first. air dry my pads. worry my room smells weird, as per usual. (No circulation up in here). its too cold to open the window though. I eat a microwave meal and i feel so amazing. weed makes eating so easy. i finally go

i feel confident for the first time in a while. i should wear baseball caps more and do this hair technique:) i have a special connection with this jacket... i haven't worn it much this winter.. i forgot how special it is to me 🐸 (kt)

Uber there is kinda awk. I didnt like my driver lol we have a bit of a scuff when we meet and he sort of reminds me of someone i dont fw, but it is okay. I learn theres a very local election today when I visit library. i decide i need to find ways to stay informed bc even google wasnt showing me up to date information. Names on ballot didnt really match what i saw online.

the librarian who helped me today was so nice. I was awkward with my questions but she showed me how to use this very special scanner for books with spines. I feel so impressed we have such a sophisticated scanner at our library. i scan 99 pages of teh facking cr4mp tw1nz . And its successful:) just need to find a place to upload the PDF now ♥︎♥︎ i been wanting to do this for over a year now. Two more books to scan but maybe another day

I scan my art too. I have technical difficulties with getting the scanner to send me the PNG files. I guess PDF (such as the book j scanned) is fine but feel saddened that i just scanned 20 pieces of art and that it may have been a waste of time. i sheepishly ask the librarian if she has a USB drive i can borrow and she tells me actually, we have free ones for patrons, here you go. I feel so happy. i get the art on my new flashdrive. And now i have so many fun projects i can work on- so many doodles I can color digitally if i ever get bored. Yay!!

i leave the library feeling quite happy. I take a look at what books they have for free (i had dropped off some earlier). I take home a book called pierced by the sun. its from the for charity resale store in the town next over, i see a sticker. Thats somewhere i like to donate or find books too.

i wait outside and love the chill crisp air. i take another hit of my pen but still dont feel much. This next uber driver i kind of find endearing. he has a thick accent. he asks me, "people still go to libraries? Cant you read books on the computer?". i tell him about why libraries are cool. some silence. he then goes "you know, actual books are better than reading pdfs. i like to fall asleep to audio books". its a pleasant convo.

Im dropped off at home. I was gonna go insids but decide fuuuuuuck it. Its so chill tonight. I walk to the park and start swinging. its so fun to use the swings on quiet nights 🌙 im such a trespasser, shhh. sometimes people who smoke at the apartment next over kinda stare at you and its dark so you can't tell what expression is on their face. so i feel awkward and walk home. but swinging was so fun. i love swinging at night its such a vibe

I went home and reorganized 2 drawers of mine and get rid if a few things. progress.I need to decluffer. 5 books donated today and 4 clothes i decidd i dont need anymore.

Progress is just a bunch of little steps forward and sometimes big steps back but its okay
