It was over.

The past days spent kneeling at her bed and praying for God, the weight of dread crushing her insides, had become nothing but an unpleasant memory the moment Simon was gently allowed off his horse. He was coated in blood and grime, pieces of his armor were missing, one eye was swollen shut: Selena had never seen something more beautiful in her life.

Simon won. Against all odds, he proved himself against the Lord of all evil.

But he was not out of the woods yet. Selena held one of his arms, the one he could move, as she lead him to their bedroom, where at last Simon could be cleaned up, healed, and allowed his deserved rest.

Neither of them spoke while Selena scrubbed the blood off his skin and sewed his gashes shut. The silence surrounding them was like music, full of the words they so desperately needed to say to each other; but not yet. Simon still struggled to open his mouth. Selena did not know where to begin to express the happiness ballooning inside her.

Simon stretching his face in the loveliest smile he had ever gifted her since their wedding gave her pause. Unable to resist, Selena planted a kiss on his brow, then his nose, then his scarred cheek, and at last his lips, once, twice, over and over; Selena felt as if she could have lifted her husband in her arms and twirled him in the air, and the only reason she instead wrapped her arms around Simon's neck was because her poor husband was quite fragile, still.

But she was sure he won't mind if she made up for lost time. They had plenty, now.

anywhomst. on the left we have Selena Belmont, up-and-coming inventor and go-getter who’s determined to dethrone Dr Dred if it’s the last thing she does. on the right we have Jaime Van Helsing, grandson of the great Professor Abraham Van Helsing & a junior vampire hunter.

They’ve got a tentative friendship with the Drak Pack- much to the disapproval of their monster hunter parents, and the amusement of Abraham and Drac Sr

I found this one in the way bottom of the WIP folder. This also has a "better" written version of it but it was always meant to be dumb and silly sounding. In other words literally everyone is majorly OOC on purpose, these are also supposed to be actors being the roles of Simon and crew but I forgot the assignment LOL This one is on the bottom of the WIP list for a reason...

Prompt was "Little Red Riding Hood x Castlevania Crossover Parody But Make It Corny and Sexy"

“We’ll rendezvous at the hunting lodge. Stay on the path this time, Belmont.” The quite tired Alucard had warned him, as if he knew him for years. Being informed that the dhampir had helped his ancestors in the past does help, but Simon does what he will damn well please if it meant to rescue his beautiful wife and his marriage. So fuck this, fuck that, and fuck trying to do things the “safe way” as he lets out a loud grunt when he’s alone. And proceeds to stomp off into the snowy trees, flipping his red cloak about him as he does so. Dracula most likely would be expecting him to take the road for sure, and getting the drop on the vampire lord is the best option he can take. He can just hear it now...  “I have you now, my pretty. And your virginity too!” “No, wait! I’m saving myself for my husband…” “After you see the monster that lurks in THESE woods… you’ll never be able to be satisfied by any other man ever again! Ah ha ha ha!!” “KYAAAAA-AAAHHH~♥!” … Or something like that. You know what? Worst idea to do while trying to stay pissed off at the one who abducted your lover.

I don’t remember what I have and have not posted on here in a while— so here’s some concepts of Selena becoming a werewolf I might use for the comic if I ever am able to get around to it. :3

What are your Castlevania head canons?

assorted bag (mostly Simon now that i look at it... 💀) but:

Literally all of the Belmonts have a terrible streak for not knowing how to swim, but this trait hit Simon the hardest. He absolutely cannot swim for the life of himself (literally). He's also prone to tripping on things, stubbing his toes, etcetera. He's a clumsy guy!!

Bedhead Alucard. I will die on this hill. I think post-SOTN (or at least whenever he's awake) he's basically narcoleptic, and finds himself too exhausted to do things like ... brush his hair, in the grand scheme of things. Arikado puts a lot of effort into his appearance now, although he does definitely get bouts of fatigue often.

This isn't a canon one (because they're all the same person 💀) but I think if they could, all the Simons would have designated hang-out spots. They could talk and bake cinnamon rolls, as Simons do. This also applies to every Castlevania character that has different versions inbetween games (Dracula included... of course), but I just like Simon a lot.

Sara is excellent at baking pastries, and Leon is excellent at cooking savoury foods. Please do not encourage them to switch roles because it will end in utter disaster.

Also, Selena gardens a lot, and Simon has lots of knowledge about different herbs and what they do. His interest is based on three things, really: growing up as a vampire hunter, his own interest and curiosity, and Selena's green thumb. He's the type of guy to fervently put a bunch of herbs into a traveler's hands, and explain which one has what purpose. I wish he and Selena were in Skyrim :(

Richter and Juste absolutely DESPISE hot weather. This is moreso a visceral "Yeah, they'd do that" on my part instead of an actual attempt at analyzing their characters, but I think they'd stay inside with dozens of cold drinks and fans around the house then ever step a foot outside during summer.

Maxim knows a bit about magic due to Juste teaching him. Even Lydie knows a few spells, because Juste is very eager on teaching them both different ways to cast different spells. Even if Maxim or Lydie aren't magically inclined, Juste still teaches them anyway, "just in case". Whatever that means.

Sorry if this is a small list, but my hands are kind of starting to ache from typing LMAO 😭 I hope you like them!
