40 YEARS OF DISNEY CHANNEL

On 18 April, 1983, The Disney Channel (rebranded as just “Disney Channel” in 1997) launched on cable television in the US. Throughout its 40 year history, Disney Channel has created over 80 original series and over 100 original movies, many of which have come to be considered cultural classics. The network is also responsible for launching the careers of some of the world’s biggest superstars, including Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, Zac Efron, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Zendaya, and Olivia Rodrigo (to name a few). Several generations of kids have grown up with Disney Channel and its lasting cultural impact surpasses that of any other children’s television network.

I, personally, am so grateful to have grown up watching Disney Channel, and even more grateful to rediscover my love for it as an adult. So many of my interests and tastes today have been impacted by Disney Channel. I’ve made so many friends and memories because of our shared love for these stories. Thank you, Disney Channel, for the stories, the characters, the friends and the joy you’ve brought me throughout my life. I can’t wait to see what’s coming next.

Scream 4 trivia

• Scream 4 was the last film directed by Wes Craven before he died due to brain cancer on August 30, 2015, at the age of seventy-six.

• This is the first Scream film in which Cotton Weary and Randy Meeks do not appear.

• The scene where Kirby says that her favorite scary movie is Bambi to Robbie mirrors the scene in Scream 2 (1997), where Randy tells the killer that his favorite scary movie is Showgirls.

• In one of the deleted scenes, Dewey explains to Gale that Sidney's father, Neil Prescott, has passed away since appearing in Scream 3 (2000) and this is the first time Sidney has returned to Woodsboro since his death.

• This movie is the sequel with the most homage count to its original.

• The scenes when Jill cuts her face, throws herself in front of a glass picture and then on top of a glass table were done by her stunt double, Allison Caetano.

• This is the first Scream film where two characters of the same gender were killed in the opening scene (The first 3 Scream films opened up with a male/female death).

• In an early draft of the script, Gale and Dewey had a baby, but was changed after it was decided bringing a baby into the film would make shooting impossible.

• This is the first movie where Dewey doesn't get stabbed in some way. Instead, he's hit over the head with a bedpan in this installment.

• Selena Gomez was considered for the role of Jill Roberts

• With four installments, this landmarks the Scream franchise as being one of the only horror franchises to have both its main characters as well as its director return for all of its sequels.

• The killer is featured on the movie poster for Scream 4. That hadn't been done since the 1st Scream movie.

• During the scene in the Cinema Club, posters from various other movies directed by Wes Craven were seen. These include The People Under the Stairs and The Hills Have Eyes.

• At 1hr 28min in, Jill & Charlie explain their plan and Charlie shows Sidney footage of one of them killing Marnie; the video is actually footage of the alternate opening to this film, where we see Jenny die first, then Marnie get stabbed in the gut by Ghostface.

• As of this movie, Sidney is shown to no longer be in possession of the Greek necklace that Derek Feldman gave her in Scream 2 (1997) and she subsequently wore in Scream 3 (2000).

MLP: I think this one is pretty self-explanatory. I think he would like the ponies and the whole friendship thing. Actuakky think he would bully a brony to get a figure of his favs (and tell them to shower). He would probs love Pinkie Pie. (this stemmed from This Day Aria playing lol)

Teen Wolf: A show I know nothing about. Just would show it to her. This would probably get me killed.

Steven Universe (both the shows and movie): Purely because of the music. If anything, he would also enjoy the animation and he would LOVEE Pearl. He would create a teir list of all the songs and rate them.

Sooo many movies to show him, but I would show him, but I have to say Chicago. Once he learns the songs it's over for literally everyone.

Tbh not really a show, but any crime documentary or documentaries with the baby animals.

Selena (1997): I think Millie would LOVEE Selena, and I also want to instill the hatered ofYolanda into her. That woman could never have too many haters.

Any historic romance drama (like Bridgerton): We already know he loves telenovelas, so I also think that he would love the messiness of the relationships. You know how in every season, the main couple would have an arguement and not talk for a while? He is sobbing like a baby LMFAO- Also would show him any romance K-drama, esp the BL ones.

Moulin Rouge: Kinda historic, but mainly bc it has main character death lol he would also enjoy the music.

Moonshiners: I have no idea what this show is about, probably about people making moonshine. Never really watched it,but I have seen glimpses of it when my grandpa would watch it. Think because of it, he would probs try to make his own moonshine.

The Godfather: He would probs like all the violence lol. it just fits him idk kekw

We here at the sadboytournement are not just “absolute wet cat of a man” appreciators, but “absolute wet cat of a woman” appreciators. And in that spirit, I will be having them compete who is the saddest of them all.

2) No anti-propaganda/character hate. I know how many female characters get absolutely vitriolic hate for basically no reason and I won’t allow it on this blog. If you send anti-propaganda it won’t get posted

3) No casts of characters!!!!!!!! I don’t want you putting “every woman in Supernatural”. You’re allowed to make multiple submissions just do that

4) On that note, and this is more an honor system thing than something I can enforce but please DO NOT spam the form with the same character over and over

5) DO NOT send me anon hate about propaganda or a lack thereof. You know who you are

-Soap is like every Latino mom and does his lil cleaning day with loud ass music blasting(he ain’t called soap for nothing🚶🏻‍♀️) and poor ghost just lays in bed like bro AGAIN⁉️

- Ghost teases soap for his height (he’s not even that short ghost is just GIGANTIC) but anyone else does it he squares up immediately

-Ghost definitely wants a dog but knows Soap is TERRIFIED of them (probably where he got the chin scar from)

-soap probably teaches ghost how to dance for the next time they go to another one of soaps family functions(Ghost pretends to be reluctant but secretly likes it because he likes the physical contact)

- in my version of them Soap is trilingual (Spanish, Scottish Gaelic and English) and Ghost is Bilingual (English and French because I think maybe his mom was French) he knows a BIT of Spanish but not a lot but soap teaches him

- Ghost likes bad bunny thanks to soap LMAOO

-like imaging that big ass man pulling up to base with bad bunny full blast I’m now laughing my ass off to that image💀

- Soap thinks beans on toast is HILARIOUS he once saw the rest of 141 eating it and just died from laughter on the spot

- Soaps family loves ghost although his older brother and sisters definitely gave him the shovel talk because that’s THEIR baby brother but let’s ghost into the gang because they see he’s a cool guy

- ok back to the songs thing every time Mary on a Cross is on and the “your beauty never ever scared me” part comes on Soap always looks at ghost and quietly sings the line with this dopey look and ghost ALWAYS gets flustered
