I do find it kind of funny how the Seinfeld slap bass has become reified as "corny sitcom punchline music" given that Seinfeld, famously, was a reaction to corny 80s family sitcoms, and remained steadfast throughout its run in that it had no message, no morals, and no theme, it was just shit happening to a group of people for no reason.

I don’t know why but I’ll laugh so hard if this is how a free from malice lynel would meet the crew, it broke out on its own and has heard rumors of monsters that broke free and wishes to join them. Eventually it finds the lab and the stable, goes to the stable and asks in hylian: I’m looking for some monsters I heard from merchants from the zora, goron and rito of monsters called Zayl, kobb and sledge?

And then a stable hand due to now seems to be at peace with the lab tells it where those monsters are and it goes up to the lab knocks on the door then purah opens it and slams it just as fast and yell: KOBB AND SLEDGE THERE IS A FUCKING LYNEL AT THE DOOR! The door opens again and a slightly concern lynel now is staring at kobb or sledge who can see its malice free and fully open the door and go HOW?!

Meanwhile sterre reminds sledge how hinoxs COULD break free on their own but the malice made them unable too via making them sleepy 24/7. And thinks lynels are strong and probably can break free on their own too but the malice has it own way of keeping them in line

Hey that Seinfeld meme you posted where the text over the photo of George has a 9/11 joke? That wasn’t from the show. I’m all for make whatever jokes you want or cover over the text from the actual show but your photo doesn’t show that the original text is covered. It looks like it’s from the show. Seinfeld ended in 1998. 9/11 happened in 2001. Maybe consider deleting or clarifying so people don’t think a show that aired before it happened had a 9/11 joke?

Just to clarify in case folks think Kramer did 9/11 and it's referenced in the show... Kramer did not do 9/11, he's a character on a TV show that was cancelled in 1998--even by 90s meta-sitcom logic, that'd be a bit of a stretch. The images above reference an episode (season 5, episode 14) where Kramer is practicing his golf swing on the beach and happens to hit a ball right into the blowhole of a whale. Later in the episode, George, pretending to be a marine biologist because of a scheme by Jerry to impress a crush (Diane, played by Rosalind Allen, who played Dr. Wendy Smith on seaQuest DSV) has to help save the whale. Michael Richards (the actor who played Kramer) was conveniently across the country shooting the Michael Richards show when 9/11 occurred. Golf balls can't melt steel beams.

However...Michael Richards (the sculptor) was killed in the World Trade Center attacks (his studio was on the 92nd floor of the North Tower. Here's a retrospective of his work and a piece on it from the New York Times.

Flula Borg presents: '90s nostalgia.

The 90s, we knew them well; 'twas the one decade to rule them all. The Simpsons was as good as it has ever been. Princess Diana stole our hearts. For reasons still unclear, our species decided to clone a sheep, whom we christened Dolly. Bill Clinton was out and about. Kids and adults alike would escape reality for the havens of the Super Nintendo, PlayStation, Nintendo 64, or Game Boy Color. The McMansion became a mainstay of American architecture. The Cool S reigned supreme.

Generation X were able to enjoy the cultural fruits of rave, grunge, Britpop, hip hop, drum and bass, and Eurodance. And it was a golden era, perhaps the golden era, of the sitcom: The Fresh Prince, Cheers, Seinfeld, Family Matters, Married... with Children. These were days to kick back in an armchair, complete with a built-in refrigerator, and watch and watch every last hour of the finest television our species has to offer. It was a tall ask, but someone had to do it.

Fortunately, that man is very tall, German, and very funny. His name is #flula borg. You know him, more likely than not. And he has most graciously plucked some achingly 90s delights from the dashboard, for your viewing pleasure.
