The Missing Yogurt
pairing; no pairing unless you count a love between park junhee and his strawberry yogurt
genre; crack/comedy
notes/warnings; none just nonsense
word count; 980 and some change

A loud sigh falls from Junhee’s lips as he closes the door and drops the bag from his shoulder, before pushing it away from the door with his foot. There was plenty of work to be done inside of that bag, but it could wait. He had other plans, and the first course of action was waiting inside of the fridge of his shared apartment.
Shoes off, hood up, Junhee trudged through the hall grumbling to himself, before finally making it to the note covered fridge and opening it to hopefully find his prize after such an exhausting day. Eyes scanning the shelves only finding banana yogurt, Jun’s brows furrowed in slight panic, before closing the door and checking the note he had left this morning stating, “Do not touch my yogurt!”
Clearly someone in the apartment had not listened. He had even underlined it and signed it. Junhee thought he was a reasonable person. He was willing to share things, including his food, but this day had been particularly shitty. He had made one simple request, and it had been ignored.
Sniffing hard as he shoved his hands into the pocket of his hoodie, Jun glanced around the kitchen, only to feel himself become more irritated when he realized his yogurt thief had the gall to leave the foil top on the counter. Inspecting it closer, Jun's eyes narrowed, before looking around as if someone were standing right next to him. The yogurt was still cold. This thief had just committed their crime.
Normally he would brush something like this off and forgive and forget, but knowing he could catch them literally red handed? The idea was just too satisfying. Taking off out of the room with purpose, Junhee checked the living room, finding it empty, before beginning to open doors one by one without knocking. “Donghun hyung!”
Startled, the older man looked up from his desk, pushing headphones off his head with a confused expression on his face, no yogurt to be seen. Junhee furrowed his brows and simply held up a hand apologetically, knowing he’d have to explain himself later, but for now there were more rooms to check.
Stopping in front of the next room, Jun considers this one and knocks twice, before pushing the door open as Sehyoon makes a sound of acknowledgement. Glancing around his room before looking at him, Junhee knew his friend wasn’t his thief before he finally met his eyes.
“Can I help you?”
Shaking his head and frowning deeply in thought, the younger man steps out backwards without a word, leaving Sehyoon confused as Jun shuts the door.
Eyes on the end of the hall, only two rooms left, Jun followed the sound of conversation and laughter, pushing a door open to find the two youngest roommates and his strawberry yogurt in the hand of Byeongkwan, who took a bite as he met his eyes. “The betrayal I feel at this moment…is so real.”
Sitting on his bed, Chan found himself unable to hold back a laugh, but he quickly rubbed his lips together as Jun glared at him, before holding up a hand as he tried to defend himself.
“Hyung...there is still banana yogurt in the fridge.”
Disgust fell over Junhee’s features as his eyes met Byeongkwan’s as he licked his lips, savoring the last strawberry yogurt. “Banana? Banana. Chan-ssi, there is banana yogurt in the fridge, did you know? I’m going to kill you, Byeongkwan!”
Among the commotion hearing Byeongkwan’s squeal, Sehyoon and Donghun had made their way out of their rooms and into the doorway of the now crime scene to find both Jun and Byeongkwan wearing more of the yogurt than what had been eaten, along with a very disturbed Chan wailing as he tried to clean yogurt off his bedding. “Why did this have to happen in my room?!”
With Byeonkwan’s head wrapped in his arms, Jun glanced around the room to meet an amused Donghun as he scratched the back of his neck, raising his brow. “There is plenty of strawberry yogurt in the fridge, Junhee. It’s just in the drawer, I bought some this morning. You’re killing him for literally just my entertainment.”
Time freezing as Jun carefully unwrapped his legs and arms from around the younger man, he cleared his throat and smoothed Byeongkwan’s hair with a slight nod as he furrowed his brows hearing his friend’s laugh at his reaction. “I may have overreacted…”
Byeongkwan finally able to move, slid from the bed and into the floor close to Sehyoon for some protection as he wiped yogurt off his face as he tried to catch his breath. “You think?”
The moment the words left his mouth he could feel the glare from his older roommates, making him sigh. “And I might owe you an apology too. I shouldn’t have taken the yogurt, even if there was more. I didn’t know there was any left, and I took it. I’m sorry, Hyung. I’ll buy the yogurt next time.”
Having been characteristically quiet, a smirk on his face, Sehyoon watched Chan pout and try to clean his bedding, before finally sighing. “It’s settled, now you two help Chan clean up this mess and apologize to him.”
Grumbling Byeongkwan and Jun nodded their apologies, before getting to work as the two oldest shook their heads and walked out of the room.
“Why did you put the yogurt out of sight?”
Donghun glanced over to Sehyoon at his words, before turning back into his room, a smirk on his lips as he tried not to laugh. He found himself unable to contain a shrug and a shake of his head as he turned the knob walking in backwards. “Just to see what would happen.”
Sehyoon signed and shook his own head with a laugh, thinking how boring his life was before he met his roommates.

Behind the Scenes || Wow x Jun
Fandom: A.C.E || Genre: Smut, NSFW, Idolverse || Relationship: Wow x Jun || Language: English || WC: 1,135 words || Warnings: Oral sex male receiving, semi-public sex || Author’s Note: This was entirely prompted by the recent photo shoot and written very spontaneously. || AO3 link
The shooting was going well. Maybe a little too well as they posed in front of the red screen with their stylized version of traditional clothes. Sehyoon thought they all looked great, maybe a little too much, but the one who had definitely robbed his attention was Junhee. The blue hair looked too good on him, and his expressions while taking the pictures were just too much.
It’s not like Sehyoon himself hadn’t managed to steal a good amount of gasps from the other people there. The lip rings were a sure way to attract attention, and he knew Choice would like it. He also knew that Junhee liked them too, if the way he kept glancing back at Sehyoon was anything to go by. Sehyoon had already finished with his individual shooting, so he was just waiting for Junhee to be done so he could snatch him away for a few minutes.
Truth be told, he could just about imagine what Junhee was thinking about when he looked back and stared at his lips. Sehyoon wanted to turn his imagination into reality. Junhee was a good leader to them, and as his hyung, Sehyoon should reward him for being so good to them.
Sehyoon waited impatiently, arms crossed as he tried to keep himself from just snatching Junhee away. Donghun tapped his back and gave him a knowing smile. Sehyoon should have felt at least a little embarrassed from being discovered so easily, but he was on edge and not doing much to hide it. At least Donghun was understanding.
As soon as Junhee was finished, he called him over. Junhee’s face flushed red the closer he got, and he was still staring at Sehyoon’s fake lip rings. He almost wished they were real if it meant Junhee would continue looking at him with such hunger. Sehyoon grabbed his hand without saying much and pulled him along, stopping long enough just to hear Donghun’s advice.
“Don’t be too rough on him, we still have more shoots left,” the oldest warned them with a cheeky smile, to which Sehyoon replied with a nod.
He pulled Junhee all the way to the changing groups. No one would be changing yet since they still needed to shoot the group photos after Byeongkwan and Chan, so they had a little bit of time. Sehyoon cornered him against a table and kissed him deeply, ripping a startled little moan out of Junhee’s lips.
Junhee trapped one of the lip rings between his lips, sucking softly on it before Sehyoon kissed him once again, overpowering him. Junhee closed his eyes and forced his hands to stay put where they were, not wanting to ruin Sehyoon’s costume and face the wrath of the stylists. The way the lip rings pressed against his lips felt good, but he wanted to feel them elsewhere.
Sehyoon pecked him softly one last time before kneeling down. Junhee opened his eyes and looked down, a shiver running down his spine as he met Sehyoon’s red eyes. He knew they were contact lenses, but lord did they look exceptionally good on him.
“Your lips…” Junhee murmured, noticing that the makeup had smeared a little.
“Did it smear too much?” Sehyoon continued to stare at him as he carefully pulled the clothes apart, trying not to mess them up too much as he uncovered his dick.
“A bit…” Junhee nodded, hands clasping tightly to the end of the table as he bit his own lip.
“Gotta be careful with the lip rings, or they’re gonna come off.” Sehyoon whispered as he grabbed the half-hard length and pumped it into a full erection. “You’ll be a good boy right? Stay still and let me give you a reward for being such a good leader.”
Junhee nodded, still biting unto his lower lip as he fought to keep himself in check. Sehyoon wasted no time as he wrapped his lips around Junhee’s head and slowly went down on his length, putting it all inside his mouth. Junhee wasn’t particularly girthy but he was long, and Sehyoon was careful to swallow him whole without choking, before he began bobbing his head.
At first the movements were slow, stealing soft moans and sighs from Junhee’s lips and letting him feel the way the lip rings rubbed against his dick. It felt so good. And then Sehyoon began to move faster, deep throating him and sucking on him hard. Junhee used his hand to cover his mouth as he tried to keep his moans down, but it was hard when even the sight made him want to moan.
Sehyoon’s costume was falling over his shoulders, revealing more skin than was necessary, and his red eyes looked at Junhee with hunger as he devoured him. Junhee’s hips stuttered, but a soft grunt from Sehyoon reminded him that he needed to be good and stay still. He was rewarded for his behavior as Sehyoon hollowed his cheeks and sucked harder on Junhee’s length.
“Wait- I’m-” Junhee gasped, letting out a strangled moan.
The oldest didn’t let go, closing his eyes and focusing all of his attention on Junhee. He tightened his lips and pressed his tongue against his length, putting one hand on the table to support himself. Sehyoon bobbed his head faster, trying to get as much of Junhee’s dick in his mouth before the youngest was coming down his throat with a stifled moan. Sehyoon swallowed until the last drop of his cum, sucking him clean before tucking him in with a sly smile and standing up.
“Are you okay?” Sehyoon asked. His throat was a little spent so his voice sounded hoarse, but he didn’t seem to mind.
“Yeah…” Junhee nodded, still a bit lightheaded. His face was completely flushed red, but he looked quite decent otherwise.
Sehyoon put on his clothes properly again before checking his face in the mirror. His lips were red and his lipstick was smeared, his hair was also a bit messy, but the lip rings had stayed on properly. He smirked, looking back at Junhee. Seeing his current state, he panicked a little, fussing around his hair and tried to make it look a little less like they had been fucking around.
“God, the stylists will murder us…” Junhee muttered, voice full with worry.
“Don’t worry, let’s go back, before they start looking for us.” Sehyoon shrugged, grabbing Junhee’s hand.
“Wait, hyung-” Junhee stopped him. “What about you?” Junhee muttered, trying to keep his embarrassment down, but still worried about the other. Sehyoon smiled and leaned close enough to whisper in his ear.
“Why don’t you take care of me at home, hm?” Sehyoon suggested, before pulling him out of the dressing room.
The scolding they received from the stylists after that was certainly worth it.

fall
Pairing: sehyoon x reader
Genre: angst
Wordcount: 0.8k
Warnings: heights; christian religious images (ig?)
Summary: you have been deemed unworthy to remain among your kind; for loving someone, unlike what you'd been told.
the last moments before your fall are filled with the sound of ringing bells and someone reaching out to hold your hand
The wind whipped around you, tugging on your sash and pulling mercilessly on your wings. A reminder you were no longer welcome here.
You felt the celestial plane trembling under the soles of your bare feet as you closed in on the edge. Where gold ended, stormish grey descended into spiralling pits of darkness.
Earth lay below, somewhere. Far, far down; blocked by the winding tunnel weaving back and forth.
It would be a long way.
The air smelled metallic as you stepped up to the ledge. Lightning zigzagged through the mist, lit up parts of it and gave the area a ghostly hue - nothing like the eternal glow of the lampions lining the walkways, the shine every wall gave off.
This one was unpredictable and harsh; flaring up once and then submerging the clouds back into darkness.
There had never been coldness in the celestial planes but stood here, with nothing but pain waiting for you, with the darkness beckoning you closer, you thought this might be it. This feeling of anticipation, of dread worming its way through you, that made you shiver.
The wind turned and carried the sound of ringing bells over. You lifted your head.
Once they had fallen silent the bell of the hour would ring, twelve times, and after the last tone had rung out you were no longer allowed here. It was time to go, if you wanted to receive punishment freely, and not risk more than three times seven human lives, riddled with sin and hardships.
Still you waited a bit longer, closing your eyes to take in the heavenly sound, to bath in the soundwaves one last time.
Did they have bells on Earth as well?
It was getting close now.
This portal was one of the very infrequently used ones, it wasn't even guarded. It spared you the humiliation of having anyone witnessing your fall.
There was still time, the bells had only begun their main song, but you steeled yourself. You had never felt pain, either. Would it hurt?
Yelling disturbed the sound of wind and music, a voice you thought you recognized. Taken by surprise you turned your head.
He had to fight against the strong currents in the air, more than you had. It was another grim reminder your time here was running out. The abyss stretched out its hands towards you, eager fingers ready to pluck the feathers from your back, break the bone and damn you.
It was mesmerizing to look down upon in.
Warm hands caught your own. Your eyes flitted from the edge of the walkway to him, and your hand in his, and how his skin was warm. So warm.
"You're so cold." He breathed out, rubbing the palm, trying to work eternal life back into it.
You shook your head at his antics, smiling, sad.
"It is no use, Sehyoon. I know my destiny now, and I have accepted it. I shall dwell among the humans, experience pain, experience sin. It is just."
His eyebrows twitched together, his expression changing to one you would have rather not seen on him anymore.
"But it is not fair only you were punished. If all, it is as much m-"
You took a step towards him, even if it was strainous, and covered his mouth with one hand of yours.
"Hush. Don't you remember our parent-eternal is all-seeing?"
His shoulders relaxed but his eyes continued to scream at you.
Not fair.
Not fair.
The bells started to fade and even the wind around you calmed.
Your eyes slipped around him, to the entrance of stone not far down the wall. But there was noone coming for you yet.
"Byeongkwan and me got placed on guarding one of the heavenly gates." He spoke up, taking your hand off his face and into his second palm. "I will wait for you. Every lifetime you absolve, I will greet you at the gate before you'll have to go back. I will be there."
"Sehni..."
"It is decided." He spoke with determination, yet you could see the tears pooling in his eyes. He took a resolute sniff. "It may be your punishment to fall. But it will be mine standing watch by the gate, anticipating your return."
The bells fell silent, left behind a droning nothingness. Nervosity stirred in your middle, a fluttering as if of wings but within your body. You felt heavier by the moments that passed.
"It is time." You announced to him, smiling despite the uncertainty lying ahead.
Three times seven human lifes. Live without sin, and you shall be granted your return. That had been the sentence.
You parted from him, stepped closer to the edge once more but his hold on your hand wouldn't lessen.
"I will think of you, every time the bells are singing." You spoke to the abyss, raising your shoulders and braving the fall. Three times the hourly bell had chimed already.
"Do you regret it?" He asked, and you looked back once more. "Loving more than only their highness-eternal?" Loving me?
His face was unreadable.
"I shall live, so I shall love." You answered.
Ten times now.
"Farewell, Sehyoon."
And then you let go of his gaze and stepped over the edge.

Sickness
Sehyoon x Reader
Fluff
Summary: Sehyoon gets sick after their Undercover promotions. And now you’ve been tasked to take care of him.
“Take your medicine.” You said softly as you brushed Sehyoon’s hair away from his eyes. He groaned and tried to roll away. “Hey, come on. Once you take your medicine you can go back to sleep.”
He peeled open his eyes, groaning. You helped him sit up and handed him a glass of water. You made sure that you handed him the correct amount of medicine. He quickly took the medicine, and drunk the rest of his water.
“Are you feeling better?” He nodded his head slightly. “Good. You haven’t had a fever in a couple of hours, and it doesn’t seem like you have one now. Are you hungry?” He nodded again, but wouldn’t allow you to get up. You laughed and played with his hair.
“No get up.” He voiced, this voice thick and gruff. “Stay.” You laid down again.
“Alright, but only for a few more minutes.”

Happiness
INFO
Soft.
AU Pairing: Yuchan and Byeongkwan
Supporting roles: Donghun, Sehyoon, Junhee
Please be kind, I haven’t written in a very long time and it’s my first time writing an AU like this. Please let me know if you like it and would like more content like this.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yuchan excitedly made his way to dance class. He had only been a couple times so far, but he really enjoyed it. The students that were teaching the dances seemed really cool to him, he looked at them with admiration from afar, he really aspired to be like them. There was Byeongkwan who always went by BK, and Sehyoon who sometimes would be called Sehni for short.
Yuchan had found himself thinking about BK a lot, he tried to convince himself he didn’t have a crush on him, but he would end up daydreaming about the moments shared during classes.
Yuchan entered the room and greeted them happily. He set down his things and turned around to see BK stood smiling at him. Yuchan was taken by surprise.
“I’m so glad you are here,” BK said before giving Yuchan a hug. Yuchan could hear his heart going so fast that he was afraid BK would be able to feel it beating.
“Thanks for coming Yuchan!” Sehni said waving as he set up the computer.
“Think you’ll enjoy class today” BK said giving Yuchan a tap on the shoulder.
“I always do BK” Yuchan replied happily. Together they finished moving the chairs in the room.
“That’s why you’re my favourite” BK said doing a finger gun. Yuchan felt slightly overwhelmed with happiness he wasn’t quite sure what to do, but tried so desperately to act cool.
Yuchan’s best friend Donghun jumped on his back to greet him.
“Alright kids, be careful!” Junhee said as he entered. Junhee was the leader of the dance club, and tended to call everyone his kids.
“I was beginning to think I was in a dream,” Yuchan said to Donghun as he set down his things.
“What do you mean?” Donghun asked, studying his best friends face carefully.
“Something happened, right?” he asked after a few seconds. Yuchan simply nodded, he could see the cogs in Donghun’s head working.
“I promise I’ll tell you later” Yuchan said, doing a pinkie promise with Donghun.
A few more people had arrived and the room was clear and ready for dancing.
During warm up Yuchan and Donghun stuck together, helping each other when it came to stretching.
Class begun and as usual Yuchan was completely focused, but also having fun. Whenever there was a break, Yuchan and Donghun would chat about the dance and anyone could see the happiness that radiated off Yuchan.
By the end of class, Junhee wanted to film the kids that had learnt the dance, and everyone backed out except Yuchan. He felt nervous, he only ever danced in his room, at least last week Donghun joined him. Donghun could tell how much Yuchan liked this one so wanted to watch him.
Yuchan tried to prepare himself, he wasn’t nervous about the camera, more that BK and Sehni, especially BK would be watching him, he just wanted to do their dance well.
“You can do it Yuchan” Sehni said with an encouraging smile.
BK then approached Yuchan. “One of us can dance it with you if you want to?” he asked softly. Yuchan was determined to do this, and before he knew it, “I really appreciate it BK but I can do it.” he said. BK gave him another tap on the shoulder.
“Don’t worry and just have fun” BK said. The sparkle in BK’s eyes every time he smiled at Yuchan made Yuchan want to rip his heart out and give it to him.
“Ready?” Sehni asked. Yuchan nodded. With that the music played and Yuchan performed the dance with all his heart. His eyes would meet BK’s at times, and it filled him so much to see the proud and happy expression on his face.
Yuchan finished the dance, the applause from the others filled the room. He felt he did well, but really craved to hear what BK thought. It was really then Yuchan realised he had fallen for BK. His thoughts raced with what BK was thinking and what he would say.
The class finished and Junhee had an announcement “We’re having a social at Sehni’s house in an hour if anyone wants to come, we’ll be eating and having a few drinks” Yuchan jumped onto Donghun who was already next to him.
Donghun looked at his best friend knowing what was coming. Yuchan then pouted at him, giving him this look begging Donghun to go with him.
“Only if you tell me what happened today,” Donghun replied to Yuchan’s pleading eyes. Yuchan was suddenly radiant once again.
“We’ll be there!” Yuchan said. Taking a last look at BK as they waved goodbye, before grabbing his best friends arm and racing out of the room with him.
On the way home, Yuchan told Donghun everything. Not just that BK said that he was his favourite, but that Yuchan had completely fallen in love with him. Yuchan was talking nonstop, he was barely giving himself time to breathe as they raced home to get ready, half worried what his bestie might say.
“Yuchan,” Donghun said grabbing his arm and stopping him. “Breathe!! It’s really cute how much you like BK but you’re going to pass out before we get to the social if you carry on like this.” Donghun said. Yuchan nodded.
“It’s ok? You don’t think it’s stupid? You don’t think I’m mad? I mean, I know you already know about me, but I’m panicking because it’s my first time really liking someone like this!” Yuchan told Donghun.
“Of course it’s ok! It’s not stupid, and you’re definitely not mad! I’m here to help you and support you. Don’t worry about anything, no matter what I’m here for you” Donghun comforted Yuchan this way. He was always so good at knowing what to say.
“Thank you Donghun”
“anytime! Now let’s hurry up and get ready, we don’t want to be late!” with that, Donghun grabbed Yuchan’s arm and carried on the speed walk back to their flat.
As soon as they got in they started getting ready, Donghun was ready in 30 seconds, he didn’t really care about what he looked like but Yuchan was still having a crisis about what to wear. Donghun helped Yuchan pick a top, and they raced back out with a couple drinks in their hands over to Sehyoon’s place.
“I really hope we see someone we know from class so we know we aren’t lost” Yuchan said.
“Don’t jinx it Chan!” Donghun said looking slightly concerned that they were indeed heading somewhere else.
It was getting closer and closer to the hour and Yuchan and Donghun felt completely lost. They thought they were nearby but had not seen anybody.
“Yuchan? Donghun?” Yuchan and Donghun turned to see BK behind them.
“You look lost,” BK said with a smile slowly forming. “Come on, follow me” so Yuchan and Donghun followed BK to Sehni’s house. At least they were on the right track but Yuchan felt for sure they would have missed the street they were supposed to go down if BK hadn’t saved the day.
They settled into Sehni’s house, greeting him and thanking him for welcoming them into his place. Into the living room and they find Junhee sat in the corner of the sofa, he happily greets BK, Donghun and Yuchan and welcomed them to sit anywhere. Before Yuchan knew it he was sitting on the sofa next to BK looking across to Donghun on the beanbag. How had this happened?
He kept rubbing his hands, not sure what to do.
“Ah you brought drinks! I’ll take them in the kitchen,” Junhee says spotting the drinks that Yuchan and Donghun brought.
“I’ll help” Donghun said, both of them picking up the drinks and heading to the kitchen, leaving Yuchan and BK sat alone on the sofa.
Yuchan’s mind was a mess once again. How on earth had he ended up in such a situation? What was he supposed to do? He was worrying so much, he finally turned to look at BK who looked at him a little puzzled.
“You said something to me didn’t you?” Yuchan asked, feeling his heart constantly picking up speed like it could already burst through his chest.
BK smiled softly. “I said, good thing I rescued you from getting lost” BK repeated. Yuchan instantly nodded.
“Yes it is, thank you again.” Yuchan said.
“Your welcome. By the way, about class today,” Yuchan swore he felt his heart stop. He was positive that his face was pale, his mind going at 100 miles an hour about what the end of BK’s sentence might be.
“I wanted to tell you but you were gone before I could say anything.” Yuchan was hanging on every word, it wasn’t until he made eye contact with BK once again though.
“You did such an amazing job!” BK must have sensed the relief from Yuchan.
“Did you think I would say something bad?” BK asked with a hint of sadness in his eyes. Yuchan shook his head immediately, not being able to stand it.
“No, I just really wanted to hear from you how I did” Yuchan told him. BK smiled sweetly at him and Yuchan felt like he was about to lose his mind. He kept telling himself to get it together, but everything BK did was so cute to Yuchan.
“Well, you did great, you should be proud of yourself.” BK said. Then he suddenly moved closer to Yuchan, “Don’t tell Sehni and Junhee I told you, but we’re putting you on the dance team” BK said softly, almost a whisper which killed Yuchan off completely, his heart and his mind going crazy.
“I promise I won’t tell. Thank you so much BK” Yuchan said with all his heart. BK simply smiled at him again.
BK got up to wonder to the kitchen and Donghun came back in with Sehni. They all chatted and once food arrived, the five of them chatted over dinner and a few drinks.
Yuchan was drunk by the end of the night. He rarely ever drank, but he considered how he went from crushing on someone to completely falling in love with them, and the events of the day that really seemed almost dream like to him.
Donghun had a few drinks but he must have caught onto Yuchan, and made sure he’d be ok to look after him and take him home, they got the taxi back, and Donghun made sure that Yuchan was safely crashed in his bed before heading off to bed.
Donghun was ready to look after Yuchan. He was ready to her about what had happened while he was with BK, Donghun knew it must have been a big deal for Yuchan to end up getting drunk.
Yuchan came strolling into the kitchen like nothing had happened. Donghun stood there in shock.
“You’re ok? How do you feel?” Donghun asked him.
“I feel great.” Yuchan replied.
“How are you not hungover?” Donghun asked.
“That only applies if I go overboard, I didn’t drink that much even though I ended up in a state.” Yuchan replied.
“What happened then Chan?” Donghun asked him. Yuchan explained what had happened. Yuchan told his best friend everything about it.
Donghun watched his best friend telling him about his conversation with BK. He saw the way his eyes lit up and the way he expressed how he felt. Donghun could very clearly see just how much Yuchan liked BK. He remembered after the first class on the walk home how Yuchan seemed to crush on him, but Yuchan had really fallen for BK now. He had to help his best friend any way he could.
It crossed Donghun’s mind that Yuchan rarely ever saw BK outside of dance club. He gave himself a mission to change that, he was sure he could get some other help too.
{4 days later}
“Yuchan I swear to god, get your ass out of bed and dressed now! We’ll be late to class!” Donghun shouted through Yuchan’s bed room door, he’d go in and drag him out but Yuchan locked his door.
“I told you, I’m sick!” Yuchan shouted back.
“You aren’t sick! You think I’ve been your best friend for 8 years and I can’t tell when you are lying? I know it’s been a rough few days but you can’t miss class.” Donghun said a bit more gently. “Plus we have dance tonight, and you’ll get to see BK”
“I’m too embarrassed to see BK!” Yuchan shouted back.
“Yuchan, you have nothing to be embarrassed about!” Donghun told him
“How can you say that? I literally just blurted out to him that I like him and then ran away, what must he think of me?” Yuchan asked
Donghun sighed. He was getting a bit frustrated at Yuchan.
“I was there, and you’re making it out to be worse that it was! I’m telling you nothing bad will happen! BK is super sweet and kind, he isn’t just going to ditch you because you said you like him!” Donghun said. When he finally heard the door unlock he charged into the room and tackled Yuchan. He held him in a headlock.
“Even if he doesn’t feel the same way, he will be really nice about it because that’s just how BK is. He’ll still want to be your friend. You’ll never find out if you don’t go! I’ll be there anyway as always!” Donghun told Yuchan as he ruffled his hair.
“OK! OK! I’m sorry! I’ll get ready now!” Yuchan said. It was maybe the quickest he had ever got ready, with Donghun giving him a bagel to eat on the way to class.
Half way through the day, after lunch, Donghun and Yuchan split up. As Yuchan works in the library, he reflects on what his best friend said to him this morning, repeating in his head the events of the day before, how he looked BK straight in the eyes and told him he liked him.
He couldn’t concentrate at all. He sat wondering what he was going to do. In a way he was glad that BK knew but he also felt so panicked about the whole thing. Time passed so fast, and soon enough it was time for dance club. He headed there, his mind and heart racing, wondering if BK would even look at him, worrying if BK would treat him different.
He arrived early, and peeped into the dance room. He could see BK practising. Yuchan wondered what to do. If Donghun was here, he’d tell him to just go in already. He indeed imagined his best friend was right here, took a deep breath and opened the door.
BK turned immediately, and smiled softly at Yuchan.
“You’re early” He said pleasantly surprised. Yuchan nodded. He went to set his things down and turned around to BK stood there with his arms open.
“You owe me a hug from yesterday” BK told Yuchan. Indeed, Yuchan accepted, they’d already made it a rule they had to hug once when they saw each other, before Yuchan had said anything.
“I’m sorry about yesterday” Yuchan said while they still had their arms wrapped around each other, knowing he wouldn’t be able to talk about it looking at him anyway. BK pulled away and placed his hands on Yuchan’s shoulders.
“You’ve nothing to be sorry about. I was just, surprised, in the best way.” BK said. He could read the confusion on Yuchan’s face and smiled softly at him.
“We got on so well, and the more I saw you and got to know you, I found I liked you too, even though we still have many days to spend together” neither could hold back the big smiles on their faces. Both of them radiant and glowing. Yuchan was this close to pinching himself when Junhee came in. He took a moment to look at them both just stood in each other’s arms and smiled.
“You two look cute together” Junhee said. Yuchan had thought about it for a little while, how BK was only a couple years older than him and they were both the same height.
“We’ll walk back together after class” BK said giving Yuchan another hug.
Sehni and Donghun come in, Sehni jumped on the both of them, Donghun really tried not to make a fuss but he steals his best friend away to congratulate him.
“See now imagine if I hadn’t gotten you out of bed today” Donghun said smirking.
“Yes, I know, you were right!” BK came over and rested his head on Yuchan’s shoulder, “Donghun is always right, let’s accept that Channie”
“It is true that Donghun is always right Kwannie; I accept it”
“I won’t let you forget that” Donghun said.
“I know you won’t” Yuchan replied.
“Anyway this is a closed practice for us lot only, and by practice, we’re just going to have a whole load of fun” Junhee says.
Neither Yuchan or BK could be happier, they both felt happiest right now knowing that they like each other and wanted to be together, and that they had loving supportive friends too.

title: bloom summary: sehyoon is allergic to pollen and byeongkwan likes to communicate through flowers length: 2k extra info: something short + sweet i wrote while listening to bloom by the paper kites ao3 link
Bloom
There’s a tree outside of Sehyoon’s window that Byeongkwan likes to climb, shuffling up the trunk and along the branches to knock on Sehyoon’s window, something like a movie cliche. He usually shows up in the hours between late night and early morning, when the streets are quiet and it feels like everyone else in the world is sleeping.
Sehyoon learns to keep his window unlocked, waiting up for the sound of Byeongkwan tapping on the glass and peering in through the leaves and the branches. He’s often barefoot as he perches on the branch closest to the windowsill, feet hanging in the air above the garden outside. He never seems to worry about falling.
They talk quietly, the air around them still- as if the world is holding its breath.
Sometimes Sehyoon joins him in the branches, climbing out the window and resting his head against the wall of the house as the moon and streetlamps illuminate the edges of the leaves. It feels like summer will continue forever, years upon years of dry air and nights that are warm enough to leave the house without a jacket.
“This is a Maple tree, you know? They represent promises.” Byeongkwan picks one of the leaves and balances it on Sehyoon’s head, a proud smile forming on his face when it doesn’t slip off again.
They make their promises amongst the branches of the maple tree, as if it will help them stay true, linking fingers under the starlight and the blinking of aeroplanes flying by, as the whole world sleeps on around them. Their voices become lost in the wind and the leaves above their heads.
“As long as it’s summer, I’ll be here with you.”
-
Byeongkwan brings Sehyoon a yellow rose the night before the next school year begins.
It’s late summer, the sky stained rose-gold by the sunset. Bees fly around the garden as Sehyoon sits on the grass and Byeongkwan leaps over the fence, landing then tumbling heavily onto the lawn.
“Yellow roses mean friendship and new beginnings.” Byeongkwan smiles as he hands the flower over, its warm yellow petals slightly crooked from where Byeongwkan had ran with it in his hand.
Sehyoon traces the rose petals with his fingers and sneezes, nearly dropping it onto the lawn.
They go walking through the streets, watching the last of the sun setting over the rooftops and breathing in dust and pollen from gardens they pass by. Sehyoon still holds onto the flower, the edges of its thorns pressing against the palm of his hand.
The sun dips fully below the horizon and the night is too cold to be out any longer. The rose ends up in a vase on Sehyoon’s desk, a petal falling off and landing amongst pens and notebooks as he places it there. The streetlamps flicker on, and Byeongkwan doesn’t come to his window that night.
-
The day before Sehyoon’s final exams- the spring bleeding slowly into summer once more- Byeongkwan knocks on Sehyoon’s door rather than his window.
He’s standing on the doorstep with a bunch of flowers, holding onto them tightly with a preoccupied smile on his face as a butterfly passes in front of his eyes. His focus snaps back to the door when Sehyoon waves a hand in front of his face.
“Yellow Amaryllis,” Byeongkwan grins and pushes the bouquet towards Sehyoon. “They represent good luck.”
They both end up in Sehyoon’s room, eating ice cream as clouds roll by outside and Sehyoon reads through flashcards and notes, calling out facts for Byeongkwan to test him on. The flowers sit in the vase on the desk, where the yellow rose once sat months ago, the window open and the leaves of the maple tree outside shifting against one another- static noise in the background.
Sehyoon covers up another sneeze and doesn’t have the heart to tell Byeongkwan that he’s allergic to pollen.
-
It’s not quite a party that occurs the day before Sehyoon leaves for university- just a gathering of family, out in the garden under the maple tree as summer rolls on into autumn. Family- and Byeongkwan, hopping the fence in the corner of the garden instead of using the door like everyone else, startling anyone standing near his landing site. The lawn in that area of the garden is worn thin from the amount of time he’s used it to break his fall.
He’s carrying a branch of small white flowers and he walks directly over to Sehyoon, grabbing his wrist and pulling him over to the corner of the garden, closer to the shade of the maple tree.
“Pear blossom,” Byeongkwan traces the edge of one of the petals, rounded and delicate, then hands the branch to Sehyoon. “It’s for everlasting friendship.” Sehyoon looks down at the flowers, then at Byeongkwan, the sun dipping lower in the sky and starting to stain his hair in shades of gold and pink. It hits Sehyoon all at once- like a sudden kick in the chest that knocks the breath out of his lungs- just how much he’s going to miss everything. All the long evenings and restless summers, hanging out of windows and tree branches as the entire world sleeps around them. Sehyoon picks one of the flowers from the branch and tucks it into Byeongkwan’s hair, unthinking.
“Promise you won’t forget to come back?” Byeongkwan speaks his promise to the leaves of the maple tree, just as they always used to, and they link fingers once more- summer fading and dying around them along with the light of the sun.
-
Sehyoon returns home in winter, in the middle of a snowstorm, and is greeted by Byeongkwan. There’s a scarf wrapped around the lower half of his face and he has a bundle of small purple flowers, clustered together, held in his gloved hands.
“Wisteria,” He announces once they’re safely indoors, boots kicked off at the door and gathered by the heater, hot chocolate in hand and the curtains pulled closed to block out the sight of the snow outside. “It symbolises welcoming.” The flowers are starting to die, the petals curling up at the edges- indicating that Byeongkwan had bought them some time ago, before the snow had started. Sehyoon’s heart does an unwarranted flip in the space between his lungs and his sternum regardless.
Sehyoon keeps the flowers by his bedside despite the fact that they make his eyes water.
-
In spring, the sun peeking through the clouds overhead and the leaves on the trees starting to return, Beyongkwan sits on the grass next to Sehyoon, revision notes spread out on the lawn and easter chocolates opened beside them. Birds land in the maple tree, locating sites for their nests in the spaces between the branches and the leaves.
Byeongkwan makes daisy chains, plucking the flowers out of the lawn and threading them together, frowning every time he snaps the stems with clumsy hand movements, the chain growing longer as he reads over his notes and hums along to the song playing on the radio in the kitchen.
“Daisies mean patience,” He announces when he’s finished the chain, joining the ends together and placing it on top of Sehyoon’s head like a crown; white petals against dark hair. It’s slightly too big, slipping down and threatening to fall into his eyes, and Sehyoon wills himself not to sneeze. “We’ll get to see each other more often soon- we just need to wait.”
Byeongkwan makes another daisy chain for himself, and they lie in the grass, wreathed in flowers as the clouds pass lazily overhead and the earth spins around them.
-
Byeongkwan throws an actual party before he leaves for university- his house filled with people, some Sehyoon has never met before, and others he only vaguely remembers. There’s music, loud but not unbearably so, and Sehyoon sticks close to the walls, feeling out of place in the familiar hallways of Byeongkwan’s house for the first time.
Despite being in the middle of his own party, Byeongkwan still brings him a flower, one in each hand, small and yellow with eight thin petals. He passes one to Sehyoon, then tucks the other behind his own ear.
“This one is celandine,” He speaks loudly, over the music and the conversations going on around them. “For joys to come.” He smiles, bright despite the low lighting, the yellow flower tucked amongst strands of freshly dyed grey hair. Sehyoon focuses on the wall behind Byeongkwan, feeling that he’ll be blinded if he looks too closely.
They end the night on the upstairs landing, the window open for them to lean out of, tracing hands through the summer air and watching the stars, pointing out constellations and aeroplanes as they fly overhead. The conversations downstairs are background noise, and nobody comes looking for them. The celandine flower is still tucked behind Byeongkwan’s ear- joys to come- and Sehyoon feels warm despite the cold breeze that sweeps in through the window, opened up to the world outside.
-
Sehyoon visits home next summer- Byeongkwan doesn’t.
He texts when Sehyoon is hanging his clothes back up in his wardrobe at home, the leaves of the maple tree filtering warm light into his room. ‘Staying at uni with friends this summer, sorry.’ There’s no flowers, no warm smiles to greet him.
The summers had always been theirs; the time to stay up unreasonably late, to run through the streets to get ice cream, to make promises under the trees and to try and count the stars in the sky, slow days and long nights that belonged to them- and them only.
It suddenly feels like Byeongkwan doesn’t want to share summers with him anymore, and it hurts more than Sehyoon expects.
The summer goes by too fast, afternoons spent indoors and mornings spent sleeping, sitting in the tree branches by himself late at night and still half expecting to turn and see Byeongkwan sitting next to him, explaining the meanings of flowers and constellations.
It’s loneliness that drives Sehyoon to call Byeongkwan in the early hours of the morning, rambling onto a voicemail message about how empty the summer has felt, how alone he’s been, tiredness causing the words to spill out with nothing to stop them. He can’t tell if his eyes are watering because he’s crying, or from the pollen of the flowers he bought himself in place of the ones Byeongkwan would usually bring him. He falls asleep at his desk the moment the call is over and the phone is out of his hand.
Three days later, Byeongkwan shows up at Sehyoon’s door with a bunch of purple flowers, grappling the older into a hug the moment the bouquet is out of the way.
“Hyacinths,” His hair is more blonde now, the grey having long since faded away. “I know it’s probably not good enough, but they’re for asking forgiveness.” Sehyoon hugs back, the summer feeling infinitely longer.
-
Spring brings warm weather and rainstorms, dark clouds rolling across the skies as Byeongkwan runs up to Sehyoon, umbrella in hand to shield himself- and the red flower he carries- from the rain. Raindrops slide off the edge of Sehyoon’s hood and cling to his eyelashes as he stands near the maple tree, the rain hitting the leaves and then dropping to the ground.
“Under here.” Byeongkwan beckons for Sehyoon to join him under the umbrella, holding it a little higher. Light filters through its thin material, casting shades of blue on everything under it, playing along the edges of the flower petals as Byeongkwan hands it to Sehyoon.
It’s red, with many petals blossoming out from the centre, all of them slightly damp from the raindrops.
“What does this one mean?” Sehyoon asks, expectant, surprised when Byeongkwan shakes his head.
“I can’t tell you this one.” He smiles, then starts walking, stretching up to keep the umbrella above them both as they walk down the street to the convenience store through the rain and the spring air.
“That’s a chrysanthemum,” Donghun tells Sehyoon when he shows him photos of the flower upon returning to his dorm after spring, the red petals having long since wilted. “The red ones mean ‘I Love’.”
Sehyoon’s heart flips again, and this time he feels it’s warranted to do so.
-
In summer, when the weather is once again warm enough to wear no jacket at night and the moon hangs in a cloudless sky, Sehyoon is the one to knock on Byeongkwan’s window in the middle of the night.
There’s no tree to climb, so he throws pebbles from the gravel path running from the door to the gate, stones clattering against the window until Byeongkwan leans out, spots him, and joins him on the lawn, barefoot amongst the grass and starlight.
This time, it’s Sehyoon who pushes a small flower pot into Byeongkwan’s hand, wordless as the other looks down at the small white flowers sprouting from it in confusion. No aeroplanes pass overhead, and the world seems to hold its breath.
“They’re rainflowers,” Sehyoon forces his voice to work. “They’re supposed to mean ‘I love you back’.” There’s silence, and Beyongkwan stares at the flowers, small white petals with yellow centres, delicate looking. The maple tree watches over them from the opposite garden, its branches filled with promises.
“I’m supposed to be the one giving you flowers.” Byeongkwan laughs, and it’s hard to tell whether he’s tearing up, or if it’s just the moon above reflecting back in his eyes.
Their first kiss is under the starlight, standing in the middle of the lawn as the world sleeps on, oblivious.
-
Byeongkwan has a bouquet of flowers tucked under his arm as he perches on the tree branch outside of Sehyoon’s window. He’s balanced precariously, bracing himself against the wall of the house as he tries to hang onto the array of blue-purple flowers without toppling out of the tree. He drops the flowers inside as soon as Sehyoon opens the window for him, gripping quickly onto the branch with both hands. The sun is just starting to set, dipping below the rooftops and turning the edges of the leaves gold.
“Hydrangeas.” Byeongkwan announces, out of breath from climbing up the side of the tree and pulling himself along the branches to the window.
“What do these ones mean?” Sehyoon has learned to ask, studying the abundance of petals now sitting on his windowsill.
Byeongkwan shakes his head. “I didn’t check,” He smiles, knowing. “I just know these ones are good for people with pollen allergies.”

13. We both know we want us to be something more than we are with Sehyoon pls ❤️
13. We both know we want us to be something more than we are.
“Y/N!” You heard being yelled from your best friends.
“Hey guys!” You said as you hugged the boys that were closest to you.
“How was your last exam?” Donghun asked as you sat down on the couch.
“I’m so glad this semester is over.” You sighed as you slung your arm over your face, putting your head in Byeongkwan’s lap. He started to play with your hair to help you relax.
“So you’re finally free?” You heard Sehyoon ask.
“Yep. Finally free.” You said, feeling proud that you’d finally finished your hellish exam week.
A couple hours later, you were playing games with all the boys. You all were taking turns on Mario Kart when Chan asked you about Sehyoon.
“So how has everything been with Sehyoon?” He asked quietly, everyone else focusing on the game.
“He hasn’t really been talking to me since I’ve been super busy with studying for my exams.” You said equally as quiet, fiddling with your fingers.
“He’s been trying to figure out when we’d have a couple of free days.” This gave you hope. “Maybe he’s trying to figure out a good time to ask you out on a date.”
“I guess. I’ll believe it when he does it.” You sighed. Hopefully he’ll get his shit together soon.
In the early hours of the morning, everyone was surrounding an empty bottle. Most of everyone was at least tipsy, so everyone decided that a round of truth or dare was in order. You were probably the least tipsy out of everyone, not liking to drink a lot. A couple of rounds passed before the bottle landed on you. Jun smiled sinisterly.
“Oh our dear Y/N, truth or dare?” You laughed.
“Truth, I don’t want to embarrass myself.”
“Is it true that you like one of us?” This made you blush. All the boys ooh-ed around you and you sighed.
“Yes, I like one of you.” You said as you spun the bottle. A few more rounds went around with Jun having to try and break dance and Chan drinking a strange concoction of alcohol and random condiments from the fridge. Then it landed on you. Donghun laughed and you already knew what the next question was going to be if it was truth, but you really didn’t want to die from any of their dares, and Donghun was particularly cruel with his dares.
“Truth or dare?” He laughed out. You groaned and rolled over onto your stomach.
“Truth.”
“Oh.” You laughed at his surprise face. “Which one of us do you like?” You looked over at Chan, who everyone suspected it was him that you liked.
“It’s Sehyoon.” You said quietly. The surprise looks from everyone, except Chan said it all. You sighed and got up. “Well, I think it’s time for me to go now.”
As you were leaving, Sehyoon stopped you.
“Wait, Y/N.” He said as he grabbed your wrist.
“What Sehyoon?” You asked without turning around.
“You know I like you Y/N, but the company...” He trailed off.
“We both know we want us to be something more than we are. And I hope you can handle that you’re the one that stopping that.” And that was the last thing you said before you walked out of the door.
