Today is National Video Game Day. So I thought I'd pay homage to the first game I ever remember playing: Sonic the Hedgehog 2. This game was great and I have super fond memories of it!
As such, I had to create an Aseprite GIF depicting the iconic Spindash, because it's easily the one thing that's most associated with the blue blur himself.
Made with Aseprite v1.2.40. Permission is not required to use, but credit is highly appreciated. Thank you!
The funny thing about Dr. Robotnik being called Dr. Robotnik in the English localisation is that "Robotnik" is a real surname, but the localisers apparently had no idea – they just took the English word "robot" and stuck a vaguely Russian-sounding suffix on it because it was the Cold War and "vaguely Russian" was shorthand for "evil" in American popular culture. Dudes tried to lazily come up with a name that evokes "evil robot guy" and accidentally made him Polish.
In this video, I'll be looking at the ULTRA forgotten game METAL HEAD on the Sega 32x. We'll explore a bit of history about the system's failure, why METAL HEAD likely was forgotten, and all the other aspects of the game. There are major spoilers here, with the game only really clocking in at less than 2 hours of gameplay total. If you enjoy the video, you know the drill! LIKE and SUBSCRIBE! 2024 WILL BE THE YEAR THE CHANNEL HITS 1000!
