After a 7-year break, I finally went back to swimming today. It felt absolutely exhilarating. I managed 30 laps, though I’m definitely a bit rusty. Still, I couldn’t be happier to be back in the water. Here’s a rose from the hotel’s garden that I pass by on my way to the pool. This time, I didn’t bring my camera to the pool area, and I’ve decided not to take it with me anymore, just in case of any leaks through the lockers. Next time, I’ll try to capture some pictures with my phone for this journal instead—I hope you guys don’t mind!

I’ve been rearranging shelves a bit for the past couple of hours—moving books around, pulling books that I want to unhaul, and just overall making more room.
