The reminiscence of Kafka and Mina's surnames with everything white and the sun, to me both like a new day, a dawn. The OST they used for the anime called "Mina と Kafka" (being と a particle used not only for saying "and" but also heavily related to being together/relationships) The way she never stopped waiting for him, not because she didn't considered him to be good enough but because she knows exactly how strong he is. The way both mature and immature feelings happen at the same time inside herself because she gets mad at the fact he is not next to her but she also knows he can be better because she believes in him (if the battle of reasoning and pure feelings wasn't what happens inside someone in love...) The way she brings the power to manipulate the cannon from that "anger". the way Kafka sees Mina like his heart when he has actually lost it due to his Kaiju transformation just to come back to his humanity (so IchiHime 🥺). The way Mina says the most important part of Kafka is indeed his heart... the way "abyss" is the name of the song they used for the anime when indeed it is referring to the times they both (if you haven't read the manga please don't pay attention to this) fall into an abyss and they see each other to regain strength to keep on living "can someone please save my life?" And what about Nobody? please, PLEASE!! CAN WE JUST PAY ATTENTION TO THIS BEAUTIFUL ROMANCE??

also, isn't "After Dark" by Mr. Kitty their song? I just love that song, it makes total sense for them and how Kafka worked so hard to be at the same level to be able to protect her (what a maaaan lord!!!)

Idia, Silver: Somehow I’ll be Strong

Silver casually doing his usual knightly duties and Idia being shocked at such Chad behavior will never not be funny 🤡 but seeing Idia passionately share his hobbies in the vignettes was wholesome! A Tale as Old as Time.

Gazing upon the good and righteous was nothing new for Idia. He had pored over countless manga and light novels, binged shounen anime after shounen anime.

Here was another hero, bathed in bronze sunlight, posing triumphantly, a sword to pave the way forward and a battered training dummy to protect. His trusty winged steed beside him, a stout, wizened satyr, his mentor, hanging off of one bulging bicep. True, the arena they stood in was empty, save for the training equipment scattered about—but there was no doubt that the world would soon know his name, and his face written in the stars.

A platinum frame divided Idia from that legendary man.

Clutching onto one limp, flabby arm, he quietly scoffed. Haaah, it looks like a scene straight out of some musclehead's training montage...

"You're admiring this painting too, Idia-senpai?"

Idia's thoughts came to a screeching halt. Goosebumps prickled his skin, hair standing on end. A young man with a build similar to the hero in the artwork had appeared, handsome-face framed by moonlight locks.

"E-Eep! S-Silver-shi?!" His voice was pinched, a reverberating squeak.

The knight bowed his head. "Hello. It sounds like you're in good spirits."

Idia took a step back, as if he were the night making way for the encroaching day. The shadows were where he felt the safest, wrapped up in a cloak that granted him near invisibility from the average onlooker. Not with Silver. He who cast a revealing light wherever he drifted.

"Y-Yeah, what a n-nice painting..." Idia mumbled, not bothering to summon the effort to lie. He attempted to skitter away, cutting the conversation short, but—to his dismay—Silver continued.

"I look up to him too. There's many historical heroes we can look back on and learn from," Silver said with a nod. "I refer to them when I consider my own training regiment. They're inspirations to us all."

What's this?! Idia paled. Obviously I was trying to signal to him that I was gonna go AFK but this guy just starts spamming the chat!! H-Have I accidentally tripped an event flag...!? Or does he lack even more social awareness than an introverted otaku like me!?

Silver regarded him seriously—innocently, even. "Can I ask if this is the one you aspire to?"

Idia grimaced at the suggestion. "You're joking, right? Th-There's no way I could be a fraction as buff as he is!!"

The second year blinked, seeming undisturbed by the flustered response. “I don't think that's a concern."

“How’s it not? A hero can’t do crazy godlike stunts if he doesn’t have the right stuff…”

Silver shook his head. “My father has told me stories of warriors who were able to overcome their lack of strength with other provisions. A woman once pretended to be a man to infiltrate the military. Her wit saved their entire country from collapse."

"This man too…” Silver indicated the placard below the platinum frame. “… He gave up his strength to protect someone he loved. It was his noble heart that made the heavens recognize his godhood."

“W-Well…” Idia but his lower lip. He knew the tales as well as Silver did, but still he hesitated. “That’s true, but… isn’t it too unrealistic to think ordinary people could rise to those kinds of feats?”

His grip on his sleeve tightened.

The main character in Star Rogue... He started off as a zero and became a hero. But that's just a video game. Can something like that really happen in real life...? When true heroes are one in a billion?

Silver-shi makes it sound so easy.

His stomach lurched, wrenching into distorted shapes.

“If you have the drive, you can go the distance and somehow become strong,” Silver told him. His tone, reassuring yet firm.

“Somehow? H-How vague can you possibly get? That’s no way to achieve results…”

“It’s not brawn alone that determines your worth as a hero. Please have more faith in yourself, Idia-senpai."

As if just saying that will make my faith meter shoot through the roof! Anxiety-induced sweat beaded on Idia’s forehead.

M-Maybe if I tell him what he wants to hear, he’ll leave me alone… He warily eyed Silver. “O-Okay… I get it already. I’ll try, so…”

Please stop talking to me!! I-I don’t know how much longer of this pure-hearted anime protag speech I can stomach!

“You will? That’s great.” Silver smiled softly. His expression, Idia realized, reminded him of that of the hero in the photo frame.

A sparkling face, full of hope for the future.

A hero in the making.

That could be you, a tiny voice in his mind whispered.

A weight in his chest steadily lifted, then dropped again. Like a lost soul bobbing between life and death. Unsure of which way to go.

No, don’t be deceived. Life isn’t a game route that plays out with an easy ending. One misstep, and I’ll be floating in the River Styx.

Idia cut away from his underclassman. The hero’s big grin snagged in the corner of his eye.

Perfect, pearly, perky. Not a visible crack in a man seemingly chiseled out of marble.

But nobody’s perfect, not even the immortals. Everyone has a weakness or two in their systems, a security flaw, bug to exploit—and the bigger they are, the harder they fall.

Trust in excess turned into gullibility. Willingness to help could become one’s hubris. Goodness twisting into other shapes.

Suddenly, the hero was no longer infallible. His courage, painted foolishly.

If a hero could crumble, then so, too, could those at their lowest points rise up and rebuild a city. Make something of themselves. True one way, and true the other.

Someday, somehow, he’d be strong enough to face the odds—turning the impossible into the possible.

A slow, sinister smile crept onto his lips. Eerie, gleeful laughter filled the air. His shoulders, shuddering.

“Hihihihihihi…”

Silver’s ears perked. He inclined his head toward his upperclassman. It looks like Idia-senpai is reinvigorated. I’m glad I could encourage him.

Hello I love the intergalactic sisters Au please tell me more! I like imagining young April and Mona growing up together 🥺

Omg! Thank you! My Salamandrian April AU or Intergalactic Sisters (I’m still deciding on the title) is one of my personal favorite AUs of mine because I love the randomness of it all with the concept. I also see this as a fun way for me to explore the dynamic of April and Mona Lisa because I love these girls and I think they would’ve been best friends in the show if the writers weren’t cowards!

So for those who need context, in the AU April was captured by The Kraang when she was around 6 years old. In the season 3 episode Buried Secrets, April’s “mom” explains that when April was a little girl the Kraang attacked and wanted to take April away. Kirby and April were able to get away and leave the farmhouse, while April’s mom was captured instead.

So my idea came from: what if the Kraang got what they came for and took April away from her parents?

Apology in advance but I’m about to share a lot about this AU!

So after being kidnapped, April is held in a Kraang Prison, experimented on, unleashing, her hidden psychic powers much earlier on in her life. Eventually a Salamandrian fleet led by Sal Commander break into the Kraang prison on a hunt looking for the wanted rogue, Newtralizer, but instead Sal finds April. He breaks her out of the prison and brings her back to his home planet. He doesn’t know why the Kraang had her or why they wanted her, but his gut feeling told him it wasn’t for good intentions. Sal also did not want to take the risk of the Kraang finding her again, so he decided not to bring her back to her home planet of Earth knowing that is where they’ll be looking for her, so he lets her grow up on Salamandria.

This is how April eventually meets Mona Lisa. Mona has already been training under Sal for the past year (tying into my headcanon that Mona was placed under the care of Sal after her parents were killed in battle), so she is surprised when Sal returns from a mission bringing with him a strange looking creature with red hair. Mona and April quickly bond though because they both share a similar situation of losing their parents. Together, Sal trains are the two young girls and they become like a little family. April and Mona become the best of friends growing up together and even going as far as to call each other sisters. Also April calls Mona “Iggy”, she doesn’t refer to them as a Mona Lisa and Sal Commander because those are nicknames that the turtles give them so she refers to them by their salamandrian names only.

Growing up April was often picked on by the other Salamandrian children, because she was, well, different, but Mona always had her back, beating up anyone who tried to be mean to April. Mona is even the one that gives April brand new haircut of military pixie cut style. growing up together April with tell Mona about her planet, at least all the stuff she knew about for the only six years she lived on earth, but Mona always finds her story fascinating and the girls hope that one day April could return to her home planet and reunite with her parents, with Mona wanting to come along to her world, but at the same time April fears that she’s been gone for so long that her parents have forgotten about her.

The years go by and a two girl become skilled warriors for the Salamandrian army and Sal’s top recruits. With a Salamandrians advanced technology they were also able to help April figure out her powers and control them a lot more better so by the time she is 16 she has better control over her powers and Kraang abilities, but is still learning. Mona helps her out a lot with her powers, those kids, they used her psychic abilities to mess around with people, but as they grow older, they started to become more slightly responsible with it. but that doesn’t mean that these two girls still don’t have a devious side to them from time to time ;)

April is very open and trusting when she’s around Mona and often likes hanging on top of her or chilling on her shoulders when bored as Mona effortlessly carries her around. When it comes to actual missions, she’s serious, a little blood thirsty and quite stubborn. Because of April’s stubbornness, Mona has to be more of the level headed one, which can be a challenge for her since she can be short tempered. April is the more chaotic, one of the two surprisingly. April is also very protective of Mona, despite Mona being bigger and older than her (by a year), April has a mind said that she has already lost one family and she doesn’t wanna lose another with Mona and Sal.

So you can imagine April’s over protective nature coming out in full swing when Raphael enters Mona’s life XD

April, to Sal: Oh yes, mm hm, I’d be happy if Iggy ended up with any guy.

You need to tell me if he planned that date and kept all the details to himself or if he had it peer-reviewed. Did he go to the British officers to ask for tips? Did he tell Vi and Ruth what he planned to see if they thought reader would like it? Did he sit Buck (poor lad) down and give him an hour-by-hour bullet point presentation of the day he planned to see if his friend had any suggestions? Or did he keep the whole thing to himself, wanting it to be something just for the two of them?

And it's been weeks since they've seen each other 😭 But when they do again they are so in sync that it's like no time has passed at all 🥹

Gah, I am so bad at remembering things :'D - I think it might be the one compliment that made me want to actually pursue a singing "carreer" (or more like ... actually sing in public x'D):

For context I come from a family where neither my mom, dad or grandparents are big singers and so I also thought I was bad at singing growing up especially after my sister filmed me singing along to music with headphones on and it sounded horrendous because I couldn't hear myself :'3 Then at high school at around 16 years old I'd lent a cd to a friend where we bonded over liking this one song but for some reason in the moment my friend couldn't recall the name of the song so I sang a bit of it to figure out if we were thinking of the same song. Then from behind a third party friend popped in and said:

"Shut up, you said you couldn't sing that was a lie!!"

And here we are today - me going to musical summer camp in three days using one week on singing rock and pop cover songs and the week after that recording my own music ... oh and I plan on going to karaoke tomorrow x'D

I do have a tattoo, just one tho on my forearm/shoulder. It is Flapjack (a cardinal bird from the cartoon series the Owl House) holding a handbrush in his beak :3 It symbolises a few things - the upper most layer is that the cardinal is somewhere seen as a newly deceased soul visiting their loved ones so having Flapjack on my arm symbolises my grandmother that passed away last year and that her soul is still with me (the brush is a silly little extra story I can talk about another time if anybody wants to hear it x'D). Yet on a deeper level the bird being Flapjack specifically is due to the fact that just after having cried my eyes out to the first episode of season 3 of the owl house titled For the Future (everybody in the fandom knows what I am referring to with this episode and the character of Flapjack) I got the call that my grandmother was at the hospital. The day after having just rewatched the episode I got the call that she was dead. So because of this Flapjack and my grandmother sort of mixed together in my mind giving my grandmother a spirit animal to take with her up to Heaven.

Now I also find it hilarious given that in april when the finale hit everybody (in the show and out of it) wanted Flapjack tattoos so for once I felt ahead of the curve x'D

Rob has told this story multiple times to a variety of sources over the years and he always tells it the same way:

He was in the locker room, taping up his ankle. Tom came over to him, held out his hand and said, "Hi, I'm Tom."

Instead of saying, "Yeah, I know," or worse, not saying anything at all, Rob said back, "And I'm Rob! Nice to meet you, man!"

This simple interaction between them may not seem like much, but it was the conversation that stated it all, even though at this point, they still had to formally begin building their relationship on and off the field.

One of the things that I think about the most when it comes to iconic couples is how they all seem to have a little catch-phrase that is theirs and theirs alone.

For Tom and Rob, this catch-phrase is Bad Boys for Life.

It all started back in 2019 for the 2018 season after the Patriots won the NFC championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Tom posted this to his Insta page and though I didn't see it when he first posted it because I wasn't at all a fan of his, when I did finally see it, something about it changed me. Them being all showboaty but also silly *and* alone yet together like this is the stuff that fanfics get written about. 💗💓💞

And real quick, just to clarify, "alone yet together" means that they weren't around anyone else in that video but that they were still together as a couple!!

✨Anyway, now that that's cleared up welcome back to the feature presentation!!:✨

So furthermore, the chosen song and it's lyrics are super important for that moment.

Aside from the key one of "Bad Boy for Life", there's also "We ain't goin' nowhere; we can't be stopped now".

Realistically, I know that this is a reference to the entire team and how they all can't be stopped now/aren't going anywhere now that they have won everything except for the Super Bowl at that point.

However, it is worth reading into and noting that Tom and Rob are the only ones who made a video like this.

They could have chosen anyone else to do that with and yet...!!! They decided to exclusivelymake that video with each other. (((Insert the screeching cat emoji, AHHHHHHHH emoji, all the Kermit heart emojis here)))

Not only that, but it is important to me to note that Tom is the one who is holding the phone/camera and is doing the recording. He clearly *wanted* to be in that moment, making a firm memory of his time and opportunity with Rob.

Of course the editing/song part of it all came later, but I don't feel like Tom would have let his social media people choose that song if he didn't feel that it fully fit the moment. He wanted that song to be a part of their legacy just as much as he wanted the world to see them together like how they are within that video.

✨✨So now, the moment you all have been waiting for...

Here is my ULTIMATE Gronkady moment!!!✨✨

1). Absolutely everything about them together Tampa!!

As I'm sure all of you can tell based on my url alone, I LOVE the Tampa version of Tom SO MUCH.

I've said this before but I don't care; I'm sayin' it again:

Tom was very much a difference person in Tampa than what he had been in New England. His work ethic and overall beliefs/philosophies were the same, BUT he also began to show the public more of his true, easy-going personality from the moment that he arrived in Tampa. He clearly felt free to have more fun than what he ever had before and he wasn't afraid to show it.

And it's not like he didn't have lots of fun in New England because I know that he did.

But there was just something about him moving to a year-round sunshine-filled climate that set off who he had secretly been all along and who he wanted to be moving forward.

Basically, he still worked hard and had just as much fun in Tampa as what he had in New England, but Tampa offered him up a new chance to be more easy-going and super goofy at times!!

✨All of that having been said, to get back into the Gronkady of it all:✨

As we all (probably) know, Rob retired for the first time in 2019, after he and the Patriots had won the 2019 Super Bowl for the 2018 season. He left New England and went on to do retired football guy things while Tom suffered through one of the Patriots worst years ever.

Now, fast forward to March of 2020. Tom has announced that he's leaving New England and is going to, out of all of the teams within the NFL, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

A month later, in April of 2020, Rob announces that he is officially coming out of retirement to play with Tom on the Buccaneers.

Alright, and now...

This is the part of the story that everyone still isn't so sure about because both men have had conflicting takes on it.

Not conflicting bad, just conflicting in the sense that for some reason, they don't want the public to find out the behind-the-scenes details of what was really said between them.

They want to keep that part of it private/to themselves, and as much as the nosy person in me needs to know what went down for real, I also completely respect them saving a part of this story just for themselves. 🥺🥹🤧💗

All of the above having been said...!!

While the main theory about how they reunited is still up for debate, what many think to have happened is that Tom asked Rob to come back and play with him. Did they have discussions between each other about all of this beforehand? Probably. Will we, the general public, ever know for sure if this was the case? Most likely not.

At the end of the day, the bottom line is this:

Rob was fully in retirement, happy to be free of all of the responsibilities that come with being an active NFL player, when all of a sudden, his non-brother best friend and bad boy partner for life decides to leave New England and head south.

No matter how it happened or what they may or may not talked about before hand, Rob literally came. out. of. retirement (!!!!!!!!!!!) just so that he could play football with Tom again. 🥺🥹😭🤧😍🥰🧡🤍

Why else would he have done that if he wasn't at least a little bit in love with Tom?!

The game had always been very hard on Rob's body; he had so many injuries throughout the first part of his career. 😔😥

By all means, it would have made sense for him to simply stay retired while rooting Tom on from the sidelines.

But he didn't. He wanted to reunite with "the only quarterback he ever wanted to play for" in a place that was far away from New England, both geographically as well as culturally.

Them reuniting in Tampa proves how deep their bond is and how much they admire, trust and respect each other.

Additionally, aside from playing together again, they got to make some extremely cute and fun videos together!!!

This video series are a big reason that got me to see and understand Tom and Rob as more than "Tom Brady (™️)" and "Rob 'GRONK!' Gronkowski".

It is important that they agreed to make this video series in the first place and is a true testament to their commitment to have fun and be free with each other in their new home. 🥺🥹🤧💞

OC talk and story lore !!

My phones at 12% so this might not be writen the best lol.

BUT GUYS IM LITTERLY SO EXCITED. I reworked a story I had been stuck on for a long time tonight, and finally found the story that works!! The two characters I've been working on finally have a story that I KNOW, is right for them and I'm SO HAPPY.

The story itself is super jenaric but I can just see them in my little pee brain and I'm so, UAGHHAGHUGAHH 👹👹👹👹👹

My two OCs names are Rook and Old Sand! (old sands not actully his name, it's just short hand for seasond detective LMAOOO, anyways)

It used to be that rook was a talkative people type that was fresh out of the academy, and his soon to be bf old sand, was a silent type. However, they actully ended up changing personalities in the end. Rook is now a moderate silent type, whial old sand is still a silent type LMAOO. I guess they didn't really change that much.

The story on the other hand, it changed so much LMAOOO. It was ment to be a "new × old" type deal (not age wise freaks. In reference to there jobs weirdos.) But ended up as a "lone wolf detective x other non lonewolf detective"!! Quite litterly all thanks to an SVU episode that had a lone wolf detective working on a case that over crossed with the Manhattan SVU team LMAOOO.

I only have one scene playing over in my head for them and it's just so, AAUUAGGAUHAH 👹👹👹

I'm not sure how or why, but they end up at a hotel for a case, or something to that effect. Rooks sitting on the bed in his fancy lil suit and tie, old sand went to the bathroom or something idk, BUT THEN. Old sand comes out of the bathroom, sees Rook sitting there just kind of, burning a whole into the floor with his eyes. Asks if he's okay and rook just mutters "yeah..yeah" in the same tone you have when your trying not to cry. So old sand comes over and sits next to Rook, and says something to the effect of a "you can always talk to me 🥺🥺🥺" speech. After hearing whatever it was that old sand had to say, he caves LMAOOO. He starts talking about his sister and how all of the victims look like her And how he's terrified that he's going to have to ID her one day. Old sand doesn't really know how to reply (mainly because I never got this far into the dialog LOL), so they kinda just stare at eachother for a second and they start leaning in to give eachother a lil smooch, and just before they do, the phone rings.

Hand on cheek and everything, and I had the phone ring LMAOOOO.

The short and sweet official summary of it is: A tale of a boy and his friends and a game they play together

But if you would like a more detailed, but still summarised, explanation then look under the cut. But beware for it for it is long.

I haven’t read this webcomic in over a year so bear with me lol (I actually went and read a recap of it and. wow)

! Major Story Spoilers Ahead !

Okay so in as simplest terms I can manage is that four kids play a game that ends their world, but them and their homes are transported inside due to certain conditions that were met. They each get planets and if they die on a certain spot on these planets they become gods (aka ascending to god tier). There’s another race that played this game called trolls that also destroyed their world in order to enter, however only one of them became god tier. The trolls playing the game created the kids’ world (they didn’t do it right tho and that lead to one of the ‘npcs’ doing their own thing and.. ruining the course of the game.)

I forget where it happens but there’s an intermission that is super important. (Although it doesn’t appear to be lol it introduces the big bad and all his associates and whatnot)

A lot of shenanigans. We learn about the trolls, about the game and time shenanigans!! Some of the trolls help the kids, most of the trolls die bc they kill each other (and can’t resurrect bc they aren’t god tier). Key part of the killing is that one of the trolls, Vriska (the one god tier troll), is killed due to almost committing a timeline altering act. She doesn’t resurrect as her death was deemed Just. The only ways you can die permanently when god tier is when it’s deemed either Just (justified) or Heroic (being a hero).

(I’m missing a lot but it’s okay lol)

Anyway as the game is nearing its “end” and due to the trolls fucking up the kids’ session they’re forced to do a hard reset. Using their new god given powers they force this reset and the kids split up to escape their session, one group of two going with the trolls and the other two go off on their own together. This split lasts three years, by the way!

In the mean time due to this reset (or scratch as it’s named) the kids’ universe resets itself and basically…. Is reversed. So, instead of the kids we have their ancestors that are now… kids. Oh yeah, forgot to mention, during the shenanigans earlier one of our kids, John, basically made both him and his friends and his nanna and his friends’ guardians in a lab using shenanigans and sent them back in time so that everything can happen. Yeah. So, in this new session we have a new set of kids which I’ll refer to as the Alpha Kids, whereas our set of kids are the Beta Kids. So, we have the alphas now and we see their journey into the game. It’s to note that these kids can’t become god tier traditionally because of their Dream Selves dying beforehand (a needed self in order to become god tier).

So the alphas enter and are met with a dead game, basically. You could say their game is ‘infertile’ as it doesn’t have the means to create a new universe once it’s done. So it’s unwinnable. There’s nothing the alphas can do but wait. There’s some back and forth, we’re met with a new ‘troll’ and get to know her and her ruthless brother who wants to kill everyone his sister loves and stuff. Fun!

We get to know the betas more on their journey and wow one of them is depressed okay back to the alphas who. are high on sugar. Okay. Through their sugar high they get to their Quest Beds (ones that can grant them godhood without having a dream self but it’s buried deep within their planets (iirc)). So. They die on them and become god tier!

Oh yeah and during this we get to know one of the trolls’ dead ancestors called Meenah who works to build an army of the dead to tackle the big bad (Lord English) in the dream bubbles where those who die (either in this timeline or another) go to as a sort of afterlife.

The three years are up (only 6 months for our alphas) and everyone’s now in the alphas’ game. Jade (one of the betas) brings over everything from the Beta’s game so now the Alpha’s game is fertilised! Yippee! John sleeps and dreams and finds a treasure whilst everyone else uh. Suffers, basically. Once the betas arrived two of the kids (one alpha one beta) get possessed by Betty Crocker (one of the alphas’ mother but she’s an evil troll who can mind control). Jade (beta) and Jane (alpha) are now possessed.

A lot of stuff happens here. Best way I can explain it is that there’s a lot of glitches, death, and bad drawings. John also gains the power to rewrite canon (retcon), if you can believe it. The evil brother plays his game, kills his sis and gains way too much power for his own good. (Remember I might be getting things wrong here). Now, remember Meenah? Well from her group of trolls we have Aranea and she ruins everything. She brings herself back to life using what’s called the life ring and brings everyone to the same planet (except John who’s running from Jade). So. She fucks everything up, gets a lot of people killed (some people dying Justly and Heroically) and basically creates a GAME OVER timeline. Did I mention that when the betas came to the alphas they also brought along their own game’s bad guys? Yeah. Whilst GAME OVER was happening John was out there battling a kid version of the big bad. He teleports back into canon when everything’s already over.

So, now we’re in game over where basically everyone save for some are dead. Terezi, one of the trolls, tells John to fix it bc of his retcon ability. She gives him a list of what to do because of her own game given powers (she’s a Mind player but. yeah I won’t explain that sorry) and John goes and does it, using the keywords she gave him to find those specific points in time to change and fix. This leads to Vriska not dying when she was supposed to. A lot of shenanigans after this, basically everyone who was dead before is okay in this new timeline bc Vriska is here now. Yay? Anyway, they all go through their dramas and stuff, betas mingling with the alphas yada yada they all talk about defeating the bad guys.

Then there’s this whole animation about it!

Anyway that’s Homestuck as best as I can describe it without going into BIG detail. There’s a LOT of stuff I missed, but it’s very overwhelming lol.

TLDR; Kids play game. Time shenanigans. Death and destruction. Godhood. Vriska. Kids play game. Kids play game. Death. Big fight. They create a new universe where they can all live together and whatever have you. :)

I hope that clears SOME things up and if you have any more questions feel free to ask! Or you can read the webcomic but. I wouldn’t read it from the source bc it’s broken. I’ll tell you what to do if you Do want to read it but with over 9000 pages and god knows how many words….. it’s quite the task. But there is games you can play in it! And cool animations!! SESSION #3 BABYYY (last one of 2022! happy new year ya’ll!)

okay so i didn’t get to play yesterday bc i played dnd for 8 hours and didn’t get home until 3AM LMAOOO

as always, notes are scattered, as are my thoughts. so apologies for that haha but let us begin!

total play time: about 5 hours

alrighty so the last time i quite literally did basically nothing LMAO

so the goal is to actually get some story goin this time

i like how dina sees herself as coming from a long line of survivors. the fact that those events even happened is tragic, but i like that she can see it in that way.

i really like ellie and dina’s dialogue here. while educating ellie (& the player) about jewish traditions and religion, it’s also showcasing the care that ellie and dina have for each other. you can tell that dina really cares about the synagogue and the religion bc that’s what she grew up with. and it’s bringing up fond memories of her and her sister. she feels comfortable telling ellie about her past, deepening their connection as she shares more with ellie. and ellie’s showing that she cares for dina by asking questions and engaing in conversation with her. she wants to know more about dina. and she’s genuinely interested in what dina has to say.

i fucking live writing. damn.

This post is not wholly comprehensive and is intended as an overview, links provided lead to further details. Dates are in accordance with China Standard Time, the organization is chronological. My own biases on some things are reflected here. 01-01 → The Legend of AnLe Weibo posted a new promotional still of Gong Jun and Dilireba.

→ Gong Jun’s studio posted his schedule for the month: 01-03 Fresh livestream, 01-04 magazine photoshoot, and 01-05 to 01-07 show recording. BGM was Everything by eevee.

→ Charlotte Tilbury posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun.

→ Gong Jun posted a collection of travel photos from his trip to Yunnan. (1129 kadian) Caption: “Happy New Year!” He also commented on it, “The last one is because I saw a lot of people wanting the original picture” regarding a photo that had been included in the photos he posted on 12-17. He posted the same photos on his Xiao Hong Shu, caption: “Happy New Year  It's booming and in a trance!” and as two posts on his Instagram [here] and [here], captions: “Happy New Year! (I hesitated for a long time whether to post a story or add a frame on ins, or post separately, after thinking about it I’ll just post separately😂)” and “Last stop!” He also commented on the second Instagram post, “Sorry, new phone, still not used to the input method 😂”

Half an hour later, Gong Jun commented on his Weibo post, “This is the original picture right?” and “I think it’s 70m, but my colleague said that a picture is only a few hundred k... Reposted” (referring to the photo quality I think.)

Fan Observations:  -  Some fans believed that the outfit he was wearing in two of the photos is the traditional men’s wedding attire of the Hani people native to Yunnan. Some fans from the region commented that while it is Hani dress, it’s not wedding attire. (Discussed further under 01-03.)  -  He edited the Weibo post at 11:51, 511 kadian, then again at 12:02, a kadian meaning “love us, love you forever.” No apparent changes were made, as far as I can tell the photo quality referred to in his comment is the same.  -  GJ solos bought water armies to inflate the likes on their comments so that they could line up pfps as the top comments under the Weibo post, leading to fighting between them and CPFs. After Gong Jun’s comments, CPFs were able to line up pfps and the fighting lessened.

→ Hsu Fu Chi posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun.

→ Colgate posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun.

→ Honor posted a promotional video spoken by Gong Jun.

→ Tiffany & Co. posted four of Gong Jun’s photos from 12-31 highlighting their jewelry.

→ The Golden Shield Audiovisual Centre posted a New Year’s greeting from Li Xuezheng, ending with “As literary and art workers, we must overcome difficulties, maintain our original intentions, and forge ahead. You may not see spring in the end of winter, but spring will finally come with the east wind!”

→ Gong Jun’s studio posted his 2022 year in review video. Caption: “2022 has been loaded, and the time has gathered into a year's full harvest. Witness the training of acting skills with works, and measure progress with the stage. @ Gong Jun Simon collided and developed in many fields, and met the challenge with enthusiasm.  2023 is starting, may the years always be new, and write the unknown into more possibilities.” BGM is French Vanilla by O’SHAN and Celebrate by Joakim Karud. Fan Observation: While there were two things included from August,* neither of them are dated. He erased August again. 🥺 *Things from August: Go Fighting!′s airing (filmed in June and placed there sequentially in the video) and the VogueFilm cover (08-23). He didn’t include the Downy livestream he had on 08-30 despite including other livestreams.

01-02 → Gong Jun posted a promotional video he did for MARRSGREEN to his personal Weibo. This was reposted by MARRSGREEN.

→ A Singapore radio station aired one of the stolen songs, referring to 813 as an “oopsie” in the discussion introducing it.

→ The Instagram posted a video from the bike trip, a photo of various earrings, and two photos of custom earbuds that look like Zhang Zhehan’s.

→ It was found through Douyin follow recommendations that Zhang Su has both of the Chens’ phone numbers in his phone’s contact list. QuelleVous followed this up saying that he also has one of Wang Peiwen’s (the fake girlfriend’s) phone numbers, unsubstantiated at this time.

→ Colgate posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun.

01-03 → QuelleVous posted screenshots showing that Gong Jun’s manager 大熊 (Da Xiong) has a marketing account on which she profited from posted casting leaks until summer 2021. QuelleVous says that she has another account with more malicious content, and that she is still posting similar leaks. Gong Jun does not know about these accounts.

→ Fresh posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun advertising their livestream later that day.

→ Hogan posted Gong Jun’s rehearsal photos from the previous week highlighting their coat. They later also posted six of his New Year’s Eve photos highlighting their shoes.

→ Gong Jun appeared in a livestream for Fresh. [recording] [text translation with clips] Fan Observation: He said that the Hani clothing had been rented for him by his parents. Some fans refuted this, saying that it usually has to be custom ordered; other fans refuted in turn, identifying the place the photos were taken as a homestay that rents out these outfits and pointing out that some of the decorations had fallen off of the one he was wearing.

→ Gong Jun’s studio posted six photos of him from the livestream. Caption: “At the beginning of the new year, the warmth continues. Freezing boss @ Gong Jun Simon 's working moment, starting a warm winter adventure⛄️”

01-04 → One of Gong Jun’s staff posted a photo of his New Year’s gift baskets to them, which included a candle from BEAST, a 361° frisbee, Charlotte Tilbury lipstick, Fresh products, two L’Oreal facemasks, a Tangle Teezer hairbrush, and Colgate toothpaste. A certain snack brand was notably absent again.

→ Gong Jun posted four photos of himself holding a record of Li Ronghao’s new album signed “To Gong Jun, in 2023 let’s free soul together” to his personal Weibo. (11:00, 511 kadian with the date) Caption: “In the new year, go to the world together!” He left a comment on it that said, “Every song is good, listen to it all!” He also posted the photos to his Xiao Hong Shu, caption “Leave me alone!  Rainbow farts* mode is on!” and his Instagram, caption: “Showy, stinky, rainbow ass, so nice!” *slang for praising excessively, he’s bragging about getting it

→ Hsu Fu Chi posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun.

→ Yang Yang posted three photos of himself and Gong Jun from the livestream.

→ QuelleVous posted records showing that the tea shop was fined 5000 RMB on 12-29 for violating food manufacturing regulations.

01-05 → The streaming release of the third stolen song, which was supposed to be on 12-29 but was delayed with no given reason to 01-06, was delayed again without a specified new date. A rumor spread that iTunes and Spotify had blocked the new song due to the manipulation of the previous songs’ statistics (sources: x x), supported by Xie Yihua making posts emphasizing that fans should “follow rules.” Whether or not this is actually the case remains to be seen.

→ Whalers who had paid the 20k RMB and given their personal information to apply for the brand’s live event that was supposed to be held on 11-23 recieved their consolation gift for it being cancelled: a notebook, an unsigned photo card, and an individually numbered keychain. This was limited to whalers on mainland China.

→ Hsu Fu Chi posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun.

→ The clothing brand YES BY YESIR posted photos and gifs of Gong Jun from the Little Shoulders music video highlighting their shirt. (11:50, 511 kadian) Fan Observations: Some candy with this brand: Zhang Zhehan used to wear it quite often. Gong Jun has previously worn it in photos released on Qixi 2020 and Valentine’s Day 2021.

→ Kangshifu posted a photo ad featuring Gong Jun.

→ The Instagram posted a seven minute deepfake video of “Zhang Zhehan” playing guitar and singing. (Damage control.)

01-06 → #TheRealZhangZhehan trended on Twitter.

→ Colgate posted a promotional video spoken by Gong Jun. They also later posted a photo showing that they have decked out a highspeed train in advertisements featuring Gong Jun, which will remain in place for the next two months.

→ Gong Jun reposted a post by Deng Chao promoting the latter’s new movie. Added caption: “On the first day of the Lunar New Year, go to the cinema to watch ‘Ping Pong of China’!”

01-07 → Addition 01-08: A Malaysian radio station posted its top chart for the week, placing the unreleased third stolen song in #1. These rankings can be bought, so it is likely a sign that the delay of the song’s release was not planned.

explaining "The Revival" badly

So I been on a big queer movies binge lately trying to get some inspiration going for my next book and I came across this one called "The Revival" and it's been a week since I've watched it and I'm still fucking thinking about it because of how fucked the ending was.

Spoilers of course in case you haven't seen this possibly obscure ass movie that's available free on Tubi right now but anyways.

Starts off with this young Preacher Dude, he's cute, his wife is pregnant, he's got your typical southern Baptist lifestyle, he's got a friend, AA Guy who's constantly stepping on his toes and trying to take over the church. Turns out that guys got an alcohol problem hence the name AA Guy but anyways moving on.

Preacher Bro meets this sexy young Drifter Dude who shows up to the church for a meal, Drifter Dude is like "you got nice hands" and without even knowing that this is technically a gay romance you know these two are gonna bang EVENTUALLY.

Preacher Bro keeps getting asked if incest is biblically wrong because there's this guy who really wants to bang his cousin. Like REALLY wants to bang his cousin. More on that later. For now we'll refer to him as McCousin Fucker. Preacher Bro is like "well just find out if incest is illegal in our state and we'll go from there."

Drifter Dude comes back and Preacher Bro is like "hey I got a place for you to stay if you want it," Preacher Bro lets Drifter Dude stay in his dead preacher dad's cabin.

This is kind of a big deal because Preacher Bro is constantly living in his dad's shadow. His dad started their church and he feels like he'll never live up to his dad's way of leading the congregation. Add into it he's a closeted gay man and yeah, it's looking like his congregation wants him replaced. His reputation, his "career" if you will, is completely on the line here, and AA Guy from earlier is really trying to drill it into them that they need to have a revival (hey that's the name of the movie!) to get people to come back to the church and see that he's a good leader, though what it really looks like is AA Guy wants to take over the church entirely.

Preacher Bro and Drifter Dude start getting really close, and they got HEAPS of chemistry. They're honestly really sweet together. Preacher Bro is doing Drifter Dude's hair, he puts a bandaid on his booboo, helps him make his bed, and Drifter Dude is like "kiss me you fool" but Preacher Bro is like "but Jesus 🥺."

But eventually they do kiss, and they bang, and it's HAWT. And Preacher Bro is suddenly a new man. He's smoking cigarettes, he's listening to things other than his dad's old recorded sermons in the car, he's enjoying life and getting laid and loving it.

Meanwhile McCousin Fucker is like "Its not legal to marry my cousin but I still wanna fuck her," and Preacher Bro is like "dude."

And AA Guy is like "I wanna drink again, but my daughter"

And Preacher Bro is like "I really like this guy, but God???"

And Drifter Dude starts making meth.

Fast Forward a bit, we're reaching the climax. Wife of Preacher Bro finds out about her husband banging Drifter Dude. She goes to confront him while Preacher Bro gets drunk and starts driving around asking Jesus for a sign that he's not supposed to be banging Drifter Dude.

Wifey tells Drifter Dude a story about an owl she rescued, but the owl didn't wanna fly away when it was healthy again, so it died. She basically uses this story as a threat to Drifter Dude. Drifter Dude is like "I love your husband, m8, I ain't going nowhere."

Wifey is like "alright, fine." Walks out of the cabin and says to AA Guy who's been standing outside the door to "take care of him."

AA Guy starts beating up poor Drifter Dude, completely knocks the shit out of him and ties him up. Has McCousin Fucker come in to keep an eye on him for the night, they plan to stick him on a bus in the morning.

Meanwhile Preacher Bro thinks Jesus has finally given him a sign, he hits and kills a deer on the road, and starts heading for the cabin afterwards.

So I'm sitting here at the tail end of the movie thinking "Awh, Preacher Bro is gonna go save his man 🥰🥰🥰"

LET ME TELL YOU MY FRIENDS.

I was HIGHLY DECEIVED.

Preacher Bro goes into the cabin, tells McCousin Fucker to get out.

I'm still thinking "Daw he loves him he's gonna save him this is so sweet."

And I'm highly anticipating their "fly off into the sunset on a white pegasus" moment.

McCousin Fucker leaves, presumably to go fuck his cousin.

Preacher Bro

Lights a FUCKING. MATCH.

And now I don't know what to expect.

Is he gonna use the match to burn the ropes off? Seems like a bad way to-

NOPE HE'S SETTING THE CABIN ON FIRE.

AA GUY IS DRINKING WHISKEY WHILE WATCHING HIS DAUGHTER SLEEP.

And of course, he gets away with it.

Because Drifter Dude was making meth, so it could probably be reasoned he set off an explosion.

Preacher Bro gets away with it and finally becomes the stone cold preacher his daddy was.

Holy.

Fuck.

Honestly, it was an incredible movie. I loved it.

But the ending, holy fucking hell.

venti was just a wisp in the wind, who was known as barbatos, listening to the wishes of those who were trapped inside of old monstadt, which at the time was encased with a giant rush of wind.

he had met you on a fairly gloomy day during the war; you were standing on your balcony; gazing at the wall of wind.

“maybe one day i can travel to all different sorts of regions when the wind is gone.”

as a little wisp; venti had flew over towards your balcony; floating over the railing, he watched you intently, glowing white eyes gazing up towards you.
