Just piggybacking on what you're saying Minnie, but yeah, for anyone who needs to hear this: I promise you're not less of a fan if you avoid certain films or shows that your fave is in. I used to feel the need to go back and watch the full filmography of an actor I liked, and while it did expose me to stuff I wouldn't have seen otherwise, generally I didn't like a lot of it and it felt like a waste of time. If you want to watch someone in just a few or even one movie they were in that you love, that's totally valid. I have to remind myself when I start to fall back into those habits--it's entertainment, not school!

Oh this is so well said, thank you so much! You're absolutely right, actually. I used to do the same thing, but over the years I've also come to see that you don't need to see every single movie in an actor's oeuvre, even if you think of yourself as a fan of that actor. I haven't seen quite a few of both Sebastian and Chris's movies, as it happens, but I have also watched several multiple times! It all depends on our personal tastes, and likes and dislikes. Hey, even Seb and Chris themselves have been quite clear about how not every movie they've made has been worth watching 😉

So yes, what is true for an actor's past filmography can be equally true for their new projects - an movie's premise doesn't appeal to you? Skip it, and focus on the ones you do (think you'll) love!
