I don't think I ever really introduced myself here so here goes!

First of all, hi! My name is Kira, but you may call me Kiki if you'd like. On AO3, I'm known as "chiquita_chequito", I'm often there just lingering and reading or writing, lol. I'm 22 years old, German with Polish roots and live in a small German town where nothing ever really happens, lol. I have many interests, like certain anime and F1 (especially that as of late) and consider myself a decent writer at least. You're free to quote and/or correct me on that though, lol.

A few random facts about me:

✨️ I'm neurodivergent! I have OCD, ADD and Autism paired with hyperesthesia and ARFID (I know, I know... I should pick a struggle, but alas).

✨️ I also happen to be queer - bisexual as well as somewhere on the aro-ace gradient plus bigender, to be exact. My pronouns are they/she, meaning I prefer "they/them" but am also okay with "she/her". Anything but "he/him" and "it/its".

✨️ My hyperfixation has been cars (as in the vehicles, not the movie) ever since I was a baby. After my first two words, "Mama" and "No", my third word was "Car" in German - the fourth was "Skodda", as per my mom's telling. Surprise surprise, I still love Škodas. 😂

✨️ I play in a sort of marching band that we call Schalmeienzug, there's no direct translation though. It's really fun! Been there for five years now and still love it. 🫶🏻

✨️ Don't ask me how or why but for whatever reason, I can get any song I want stuck in someone else's brain. It works every damn time with just about anyone and yes, I am quite shameless about it. If I have to suffer through having Spongebob music stuck in my brain, then so do you. I have spoken.

My heart has a special place reserved for Michael Schumacher, though, and it's shaped specifically like his stature. ❤️

TGSTLTH is so good that I've become obsessed with it all over again after a few years. It just scratches some itch in my brain that I can not name. Every new chapter that you release just makes my week.

It was a bit of a surprise to see that you are a fellow aro/ace. Do you think that it could be part of the reason why we're drawn to these sort of extreme relationships?

Also do you perhaps have any recommendations for books that are similar to TGSTLTH? Perhaps something that you take inspiration from.

Thank you so much, I'm happy you keep enjoying this story! I know how easy it is to stop checking for updates and get lost in time, life, other stories, etc., and it's very gratifying to know that you still like it.

I don't think being aro-ace has any effect on what kinds of ships we are drawn to, to be honest, because we all are so diverse, and I always felt like my preferences make no logical sense! For example, I know that many aro-ace people don't like romance in fiction at all, but for some, like me, it's a favorite genre. Some like fluff, others love dark ships; some adore PWP while others can't stand it. I almost always find sex scenes boring and I prefer to skip them, but I'll eagerly consume any kind of dark romance.

I came to think that in many ways, fiction is like food. You cannot explain why you love chocolate ice cream while someone else hates its taste. A similar principle applies here: your sexuality is not connected to what fiction you find interesting.

About recs... These are the stories that I think come closest to the dynamic Ciel and Sebastian share.

Immunity by @epic-solemnity. It’s a masterpiece featuring a supernatural powerful being falling in love with a clever, cunning, talented human with some unexpected secrets; eventually, they become a true power couple. Obsession, unhealthy relationships, possessiveness/protectiveness - this story has everything.

Fallocaust series + Companion Books by Quil Carter. In particular, the couple of Jade and Elish from companion books is somewhat similar in that these two always plan and plot against others, feel like the world is their chessboard, and feel protective & possessive over each other. Elish is in the position of power - he's much older and stronger, but Jade has his own unique abilities that make them unstoppable. However, even though most of this universe is amazing, it's also very dark, and despite the love and obsession Jade and Elish share, their relationship is much dirtier and more violent. Rape, cannibalism and torture are all over these books. I also started having some problems with later books, so I marked a certain part as the ending point and I’m more than happy to stop there. 

I can't recall anything else, unfortunately. But there is always the anime itself, manga, and Black Butler fanfiction :D I delve in them every time I want to wrap myself in Ciel and Sebastian's twisted dynamic.
