Burger night! I made use of some wagyu brisket trimmings tonight for burgers. They were a little light on the beef side so I grabbed a @showmebeef sirloin tip to mix in. These turned out fantastic! I seasoned the steak burgers with @meatchurch Season Salt and grilled them on our @kamadojoe Classic 2 until they reached 150 internal. My burger was made with cheddar cheese, bacon, red lettuce, mayo, ketchup, yellow mustard and Marky Mark pickles. Served with @resersfinefoods red potato salad and some cauliflower tots. See how easy it is to make homemade season salt spice mix yourself, if you're on a low sodium diet, or prefer to use a specific type of salt, this is the perfect recipe for you. I actually made this mix using half the listed salt content. My wife and I prefer to use less salt in our diets, though I do use more than she does, so this recipe is perfect as it's versatile and can be adapted or upscaled easily. I also used smoked paprika instead of sweet paprika or just paprika as it is in America.

the new housemate is very sweet and chill but my god does this nice blonde small town Iowan born girl embody the old “white people can’t handle spice” trope. PRIME EXAMPLES INCLUDE Her once excitedly telling me her favorite recipe for cooking ramen noodles. This is “Ok so you add it in this little pan with water and I typically cook it one minute then flip it and microwave for another minute and it cooks perfect. Then you add butter and it’s great!” “Do you....add some salt too?” “Oh no it’s great with just butter!” She was so proud of this and was telling me this fine plain ramen with butter recipe like it’s a hot thing i gotta try and i tried to hold down my pitying stare “Did you cook anything spicy in the cast iron skillet? I just wanna make sure before I make steak so I don’t get any surprise spice on there!” “Oh I’m not a fan of garlic. It’s too much spice for me I think.
