May I present, my attempt at illustrating the last four pages of Tevinter Nights. 😁 (Also, the first time I'm posting art on here!)

As the whole thing was quite literally too long to post on tumblr, I uploaded the full version on a customized site made for reading webcomics (via ComicFury). On a personal note though, I can't believe I actually finished it... As it had been a *very* long time since I drew (and finished) anything, let alone a 31 page comic and reading Tevinter Nights again finally sparked my motivation (and the courage to post it lol). So I want to thank Patrick Weekes for helping me overcome this massive art block and over two decades of Case Closed mangas for inspiring me how to draw an overly dramatic "exposing the imposter" moment. 😂 I tried my best to be as faithful to the book as possible and it took me forever, so... hope you like it! :D

The difference between Season 1 and Season 3 of the Bad Batch

Season 1: Omega: Crosshair, can I have a hug? Crosshair: The audacity??? Of this Child??? Nothing would revolt me more than to show any kind of weakness to sate your neediness. Season 3: Omega: Crosshair, you're getting a hug. Crosshair: The charity??? Of my Sister??? Nothing would give me more joy than to be hugged by the Literal Angel that you are, though I am a lowly worm.

my heart is hurting so much for rhaena in this episode. when rhaenyra commands her to go to pentos, and she just breathes out this "where my mother died?" and she sounds both so betrayed and so hurt, my heart broke for her. i get rhaenyra wanting to protect her sons, and the practicality of rhaena not having a dragon, but man that's gotta sting. rhaena's just lost her fiance and was visibly grieving an episode ago, and is now being asked to return to a place of personal trauma, to leave behind her entire support system including her sister, in a way that undoubtedly confirms her worst fear of being seen as useless because she doesn't have a dragon. it likely feels as if she was only viewed as being useful because of luke. and the only thing rhaenyra has to say is that she is sorry because... it breaks rhaenyra's heart to be away from her sons? nothing about all the ways in which this is likely breaking rhaena's heart? whew no wonder rhaena exited that conversation with such a frosty "your grace" i'd be a little pissed off too and that's an understatement

Watching TOS and learning that there's apparently a starfleet-sanctioned and relatively calm court hearing-like process for relieving a captain of their command temporarily is so funny bc on the USS Voyager it's ALWAYS mutiny. I get that Chakotay might not have done it in 'Equinox' because Janeway seemed pretty far gone already but Harry Kim, Starfleet Golden Boy, jumped STRAIGHT to planning a mutiny when Tuvok wouldn't contact the Vidiians and I love him for it.
