Okay so I finally done I watched all the body swap episodes. My favorite trope in all media so im an expert so this is the true ranking of them anyone else opinon is WRONG. (Also sorry so bad at words)

King-Ohger Episode 28. Shuffle kings

this THIS RIGHT HERE is a MASTER PIECE OF BODY SWAP EPISODES full team no voice swaps and FULL of chaos. I love everything about it. I love that Gira Jeremy Hymeno and Kaguragi learned a lesson and Yanma and Rita just want to kill eachother. 100/10 episode ART in its purist form.

2. GOGO V Episode 37. The Beauty is a Saima Beast!?

I'm honestly very surprised that I loved this episode as much as I do like I don't even remember it from watching Gogo I remember the season being very serious but honestly forgot how funny it could be. I love that this monster didnt even plan to do body swap and him going on the marriage interveiw and acting all weird but the fact he did that in Tsugumi body and the parents didnt react make me think shes just like that normally. Tsugumi is such a girl boss as well true QUEEN. 10/10 episode

3. Magiranger Episode 39. Inverse Brother and Sister and Episode 40. The Gorgon's Garden

Honestly though this was gonna be my number 1 when I started this episode was one my favorites when I watched Magiranger (despite forgoring its a 2 parter) though RIP to Houka 15 man harem. And Kai sick burning his sister. this some great mid 2000s sentai. though it being a 2 parter kinda un imporant it could been done in one so the episode be counted as 1 and together their a 10/10

4. Gokaiger Episode 27. An Unusual Gokai Change.

This another one I forgor but its a great episode and choosing Doc an Luca for it was perfect. some great sentai body swap shannies in it with doc running around from guys who think want to attack luka and being scared to hurt her body pure boi. 10/10 love Gokai so much

5. Go-Onger Episode 12. Sosuke Banki!?

I just love Go on its one my favorite seasons and this episode some the best of how wacky this season is. even with a voice swap I actually genially love this episode. and the fact the monster couldnt even spend 10 mintunes with the team because their just to insane that they couldnt even tell that Sosuke was switched. only one bad thing its set before miu so for no miu I have to give it - 100 points so its a -90/10

6. Abaranger Episode 27. AbaRed is AbareBlue

Another favorite season and this episode is not a low point honestly love that most of it just Yukito trying to be a dad and failing like dont let this man take care of kids again. like I think the only thing that bring this episode down is the voice swap again. 10/10 episode

7. Lupat Episode 16.Because You're A Friend

Another BANGER. Choosing Touma to be the body swap for this as AMAZING dont think the comedy could been better with anyone else. and the fact the Patoranger saw the monster in Touma body and basically though he some kind of play boy peek comedy. and the way they trick the monster to switch back really good. 10/10

8.Zenkaiger Episode 32. kai! Sakasama Gets Angry! Is That a Monkey?

I want to start with that the sub I watched the name the epiosde was freaky friday or is it monkey monday and like THAT WHAT IT SHOULD BE! this episode pretty alright I like Kaito running around Tojitendo Palace and completely failing at pretending to be stacy loud boy in quite boy body peek comedy. also love we get t see Flint do the Twokaizer dance even if its a body swap. 10/10 Episode

9. Dekaranger Episode 19. Fake Blue

Alright this where my real opinion shine. I LOVE Dekarangr its one my top 10 seasons BUT this episode where it was good... WAS SO BORING compared to what I was watching like I like the epiosde but for what I was making thi slist for its just not that good. 6/10

10. Toqger Episode. 21. The Runaway Bride

Another season I love but this episode so MEH. like honestly this did not have to have the boys body swap it just seemed really unessary and didnt really effect anything. The Gritta stuff was really sweet though I always felt bad for her in the show she deserved better. 5/10

11. Kyoryuger Episode 37. Revenge! The Ghost Deboth Army

Honestly this episode so boring I could barely pay attention like this one 100% did NOT need to be a body swap epiosode like did that even effect anything. 4/10

12. Fiveman Episode 36. Super Twin Strategy

I wont really reveiw this one like I did watch it and its alright but I've never seen Fiveman so I feel like maybe when I do eventually watch it i'll have an actual opinon ?/10

13. Kiramager Episode 19. Partner

I'll start with saying the Juru and Fire stuff this episode ADORABLE I love that... but I CAN NEVER purely enjoy this episode because MACH IN IT IS FUCKING DIGUSTING. like the fact whoever wrote this thogh that was comedy A SHAME makes sense the same guy who wrote episode 11 of Lupat the worse epiosde of ANY sentai I hate this episode it makes me so uncomfortable even thinkig about it. fuck mach. -1000000000000000000000000000/10

an now here at the end I'll talk about my FAVORITE swap episode and episode in general that I just couldnt rank with this since I dont 100% think it counts but I love it so we talking about it.

Shinkenger Episode 27, Switched Lives

I LOVE this episode its so funny and crazy. like taking the switch body trope but with furniture is so good. and the fact Genta turned into sushi and was almost eaten actually turned into an epiosde where he couldnt morph because he was to scared is so funny. and also Ryuunosuke the show punching bag of course gotta turn into little piss baby statue since thats what he is. this episode just great like honestly this one I feel like you can watch without even seeing the rest of shinkenger (Though why would you its the BEST SEASON) and the fact its a Chaiki and Kotaha episode just makes it even better. 10000000000000/10

All the times Rick cares about Morty ~ Season 1 edition

Yep. I'm really doing this. I wanted someone to do this for a long time so I was just like "Y'know what? Fuck it." Soooo here I am!

Episode 1 ~ Pilot

Him planning to get Morty and Jessica before he blows up the whole world, which, while unethetical, show that he does care about Morty on some level.

Subjective since he needed Morty's help, but he freezes Frank, a bully who was about to cut Morty

Uses serum on Morty to fix his legs, again more subjective since he did need Morty to help him, but still sweet

Puts his hand on Morty's back while he gives Morty props for coming up with a good idea "Good job Morty! The student becomes the teacher!"

Gets offended when Jerry implies that Morty is stupid, which while he insults Morty not too much later afterwards, showcasing his "Only I can bully him" attitude "What are you trying to say about Morty!? That he's stupid or something!?"

Episode 2 ~ Lawnmower Dog

Although it had selfish intentions, him working hard so Morty gets an A in math so they can go on adventures together.

When Morty gives him props on a good idea, Rick smiles and say "Thanks Morty, it's nice to be on the same page every once in a while."

Rick being so sweet and caring after he finds out what happened with Mr. Jellybean, deciding to throw the bet so Morty's adventure can have a good ending

Conclusion:

Not Rick's most affectionate season, and there's definitely more times where he treats Morty like crap, but there's still a very clear love and affection there, but he had a huge "Feelings are for losers!" mindset here, so he was terrible at showing it.

Ryan Serhant is so obnoxious and arrogant that he ruined the series for me.

Please stop the drama, make real estate.

I think that the series was worse than Selling Sunset.

And don't let me talk about Jonathan Nørmølle. He is a fucking coke head, arrogant and a bully.

After Dean found that clump of hair, he was the one to decide that this search was to be halted since it was getting pretty late. You were getting tired yourself and agreed to take the rest of the night off. Sam and Dean being the perfect gentlemen they are, offered the bed to you and Jo. You weren’t going to complain and took it.

There were two couches and even though Sam and Dean were tall as fuck, they would have to deal with the tiny couches for how they were behaving. Sam didn’t do anything wrong but if Dean would get punished, then so was his brother. It wasn’t fair but it seemed fair at the time.

It was now the morning and Dean was still sleeping on the couch, curled into an uncomfortable sleep position and immediately you felt bad. He was only doing what he thought was right by protecting you and Jo. You saw where he was coming from but Jo was her own person.

Yes, you were worried about her but she could make her own decisions. At 21-years-old, you were already deciding between which monster you’ll take, which type of gun you’ll have, what kind of wounds were worth stitching up, and what kind of alcohol would get you through the night.

Hunting wasn’t a walk in the park, that’s for sure. You were just glad that Jo had both Winchesters and you with her to defeat this monster. When you were new at hunting, hunting by yourself was a real eye opener. It made you see that hunting alone sucked. You had no source of backup and that is what hunting is all about. You needed people to have your back.

“So, what happened to your mom?” Jo asked suddenly, twirling her knife with more blueprints on the table.

“I already told you, a demon got to her.” You said, looking down.

“I know that but how? I’m sorry if I’m being nosy.” She said, shaking her head.

“No, it’s okay. The more I talk about it, the better it becomes. I came home one day and I found a man trying to kill her. I ran, I hid, until he found me. I fell down the stairs and he slit my mother’s throat right in front of me.” Your eyes became glossy as you remembered your tragic past.

“How old were you?” She asked in a whisper.

“8. I became a hunter right after that.” You said with a sigh, looking down.

“I’m sorry. All I know is that my dad died on a hunt when I was 10 years old. I don’t know how he died but I wasn’t the same when he left.” Jo said, looking down.

“I’m sorry. It sucks that we get into this life without a say in it. If I could somehow have affected any of this, I would have chosen a different life for me… For Sam… For Dean. He doesn’t deserve any of this. I think one of the reasons he lashed out at you because he’s scared. I remember being on my first hunt. I was terrified and I thought I was going to die but Dean helped me through it.

“Even though he helped me, I knew he was scared. There are no rooms for mistakes when hunting and I think with you being so young and inexperienced, he got worried. He may not know you or your mom but he can’t lose another person in his life.” You finished with a sigh. Sirens were heard in the distance and that is what woke Dean up.

“Morning, princess.” Jo said, putting this conversation with you on hold.

“Where’s Sam?” Dean said, opening his eyes and looking around the room.

“Went to get coffee.” You answered for her. Dean slowly got up, grimacing and groaning at his sore muscles.

“Ugh. My back. How'd you sleep on that big soft bed?” Dean asked, looking at you and Jo.

“We didn’t. This case has me up all night.” She said. Dean looked at her, his eyes zeroing in on the knife in her hand. He got up and took his bag, placing it on the table. He took out a Bowie knife, handing it to her with the blade facing him.

“Here.”

“What’s this for?” Jo asked, looking at the knife.

“This will work a hell of a lot better than that little pig-sticker you're twirling around.” Dean said. Jo took the knife and inspected it, handing hers to Dean. He looked at it but stopped when he saw what was engraved on the side.

“William Anthony Harvelle.” Jo said, knowing what he was looking at.

“I’m sorry, my mistake.” Dean said, taking his knife back and giving her own back to her.

“What do you remember about your dad? I mean what is the first thing that pops into your head?” Jo asked, looking up at Dean. He shook his head, not wanting to get into this but he caught your eyes. You had hope in them and you had compassion in them. You reached your hand out and took his, sliding your fingers together to know what he wasn’t alone in this. Dean sighed and took a seat next to you, refusing to meet Jo’s eyes.

“I was maybe 6 or 7 and he took me shooting for the first time. Nothing serious, just some balls on a fence but I nailed every single one of those. Then he gave me this smile, like… I don’t know. I can’t explain it.” Dean said with a small smile, remembering the good times with John.

“He must have been proud.” Jo said with a smile. You tightened your hand on his and looked at him with admiration.

“I know I am.” You smiled. He looked at you and winked slightly before turning back to Jo.

“What about your dad?”

“I was 10 when he died, but I could remember him coming home from any kind of hunt. He’s burst through the front door, looking like a beaten up Superman or something like that. He’d sweep me up in his arms and with one smell, I would feel at home. It didn’t matter where I was or what happened that day. When he came home, it was the best feeling in the world.

“And my mom, who was always sour and pissed whenever he left, would have a smile on her face when she saw him. We were a family again. You want to know why I want to do this job? It’s for him. Suddenly, Sam bursted through the door to the apartment with wide eyes and no coffee.

“Sam, where’s the coffee?” You asked, taking in how worried and shocked he looked.

“There are cops outside. Another girl disappeared.” Sam said, sighing deeply.

“I’ll go check it out. You three stay here.” Dean said, getting up. He grabbed what he needed and he left the apartment, leaving you and Jo with Sam.

“What the hell happened?” You asked Sam, walking over to the window and peeking outside to see a ton of cop cars surrounding the building.

“I was on my way up and before I knew it, cops surrounded the building. I may have pestered one of the cops into telling me but another girl disappeared.” Sam said with a sigh.

“Okay but that still doesn’t explain why you don’t have the coffee.” You said, looking at him.

“Sorry.” Sam said with a shrug. You shook your head and sat back down with Jo at the table where the blue prints and notes for the case. Any kind of clue would be helpful at this point. Dean returned shortly after with a frown on his beautiful face.

“Her name was Teresa Ellis who lived in Apartment 2F. Her boyfriend reported her missing around dawn.” Dean informed.

“What about her apartment?” You asked.

“There were cracks all over the ceiling and the walls. Plus, some of that ectoplasm we saw earlier.”

“Well, judging the fact between this ectoplasm and the clumps of blonde hair, I would say this thing lives in the walls.” Sam said, fitting the pieces together.

“What are we doing wrong then?” Dean asked, frustrated.

“Maybe we’re looking in the wrong place.” Jo said, picking up a photograph. You leaned across the table to look at the picture.

“What do you mean?” Deana sked, walking over to the table.

“Well, here is a picture of what was here before this building. There’s nothing but an empty field but look at the kind of building beside it.” Jo said, showing you the photo before handing it to Dean who showed Sam.

“Wait a minute, the windows are barred. Wait another minute, we’re next to a fucking prison?” Dean said, handing the photo back. Jo immediately grabbed her phone and dialed someone. Probably Ash since he was a wizard at finding out things.

“If you think about it, it’s kind of cool. Don’t you remember that Asylum we went to with the psycho doctor? This isn’t much different.” You said while Jo talked to the mysterious person.

“Yeah, but Y/N, that was an asylum. This is a prison with murderers, rapists, hard ass criminals.” Dean said, leaning against one of the chairs at the table.

“Aw, is Dean a little scared of a little criminal?” You teased and he gave you a scowl.

“Alright, guys, I spoke with Ash and what was next to us is the Moyamensing prison. It was built in 1835 and it was torn down in 1963. Plus, they used the empty field next to them to execute people by hanging them.” Jo said, repeating what Ash told her.

“Alright, then we need a list of who was executed here.” Sam said.

“Ash is already on it.” Jo said with a nod.

“Alright, in the meantime, who wants some alcohol?” You asked with a grin.

Okay, I stopped watching live after season 11 because of the way they treated Cas so these next seasons I binged watched ( a couple of times) but wasn’t apart of the fandom so it feels like I didn’t fully grasp them. But here we go!

Rewatching S07E01 - Meet the New Boss

Season Seven.

This episode brings up a lot of mixed feelings. I watched the first six seasons of Supernatural very close together but then I watched the first episode of season 7 and then didn’t watch the show at all till I learned of the existence of 7x17. I really didn’t want to watch a Supernatural without Cas and I’m glad that they brought the character back because yeah, Sam and Dean got me started on this journey but Cas made me stay and I just couldn’t fathom Supernatural without Cas. So, I didn’t even try till he returned in the last few episodes of Season 7 and I then proceeded to continue with the series.

For a very long time I hadn’t watched a substantial a chunk of season 7. Barring some six episodes, season 7 was a bit up in the air for me and I didn’t bother to like watch those episodes till a very long time. But finally a few years ago, i watched season 7 and I was surprised by the fact that I liked it.

I feel a lot of the reason I didn’t even try with this season is because Cas seemed to have gone away forever and I could be lenient with the season only when I knew he came back. I kind of sympathize with the people who manged to stay with the show throughout season 7 without knowing where it would all lead to because that would have taken a lot of courage.

One of the things that I remember viscerally about this season is the promo they released. The one that said ‘Kiss Your Cas Goodbye’. It was supposed to be about Cas becoming God but it turned out to be a little too literal.

Anyhow, with all that out of the way let’s delve into this season. A big reason I’m rewatching Supernatural was because of this meta I found on season 7 which really made me want to watch this season with that perspective in mind. So, I am really glad I get to do that now. All links to the meta mentioned can be found in this post.

So, let’s get down to it!

Meet the New Boss!

In my rewatch the most amazing thing has been developing new favourites like the old favourites remain but all of a sudden there are new episodes coming up the ranks and this one broke all records.

Oh My God! This is so good. Why the hell have I never seen this episode in this light before? It was amazing. I am floored.

There is just so much Dean and Cas here that I can’t even believe that this is all in one episode, like I’m speechless.

Let’s begin, this is a long list.

1. Someone mentioned that Dean does a jaw clench when the women on TV describes Cas as sexy and man, getting to see that was so epic. It’s totally there.

2. We have Sam who wants to talk to Cas because he believes that’s the only thing they can do and Dean is like no more talk, we have spent enough on him and Sam agrees so quickly that you can totally tell Dean had a whole rant lined up. Trying to convince yourself Dean.

3. Sam tries to convince Dean to help Cas by mentioning that Dean never gave up on him, like what Sam’s saying is basically that Cas means as much to Dean as Sam does and considering the amount of crazy shit Dean does for Sam that is one big accusation. Like Sam literally believes Dean will forgive Cas’ mistakes and Sam’s right but I can’t get over how big this is because it highlights just what Cas is to Dean. Cas gets all the special treatment, Dean forgives Cas because losing Cas is not an option he can live with.

4. Sam the guy hallucinating being tortured in Hell by Lucifer himself and I’m quoting here says that Dean has a lot of “pretty severe crap” swinging his way. Like, literally. Apparently, Dean has more crap to deal with than Sam and I can’t...

5. Cas broke Sam’s wall but he wants to makes amends with Dean before he dies like he literally apologises for breaking Sam’s wall to Dean because Dean was the one most hurt by Cas’ actions because these two share a profound bond and like that entire exchange is golden because Cas is just brimming with regret and Dean can’t bear to look at Cas so tattered and continue to hold onto the anger he was depending on to get through Cas’ betrayal.

6. Cas falls and Dean just rushes to prop him and I love how he like has his hand outstretched to catch Cas in case he falls again as he slowly backs away. No words.

7. “I’m sorry, Dean.” “”I’m going to find some way to redeem myself to you.” “I mean it, Dean.”

8. Remember the gif where Bobby and Dean pick Cas up and Dean holds Cas’ hand and elbow while Bobby goes for his wrist and elbow and how quickly Bobby let’s go once Cas is vertical but Dean just runs his hand down the length of Cas’ arm. Remember that one. It’s in this episode.

9. Also, Dean’s expressions both times he’s told Cas’ gone/dead.

What even is this episode, it was like they knew they wouldn’t have Cas for much of the season so they crammed a season full of Destiel moments in the last seven and a half minutes of this episode and liberally sprinkled the rest throughout the epiosde. Man, season 7 is going to be a riot!

And this episode still had so much more to offer.

We have Sam having a full-on Hallucifer moment and I loved that Lucifer tries to convince Sam that what he believes to be reality is just an elaborate illusion he created so that when Lucifer pulled the rug away it would hit that much more harder because damn! I feel Hallucifer was the best Lucifer ever.

We have Crowley being cheeky as ever and I can’t get over this -

But, man the very last scene of this episode with Leviathan!Cas took the cake. Man, I definitely don’t give Misha enough credit for his acting because he made Levi!Cas like so good. I’m quaking in fear over this new menace and I totally know what’s coming but I’m still shaking. “This is going to be so much fun.” Indeed.

Compared to Season 6 that definitely felt all over the place from beginning to end, season 7 is much more structured and nobody could have guessed that Leviathans would be the main issue this season but focusing on one big bad made this season that much more better. We could concentrate on the one enemy and really make them the true focus instead of having a new big bad every few epiosdes till they all become anticlimactic. Structurally, season 7 has to be prefect they introduced the big bad and then made them the biggest and baddest. The Leviathans totally wanted world domination and they almost succeeded. This season also has one of my most favourite Supernatural episodes ever and if the beginning is anything to go by, this rewatch is going to legendary.
