Ancient Roman sculpture portraying a sleeping hermaphrodite (probably a copy of a Greek bronze). Louvre Museum.

Lorenzo Bernini sculpted the mattress and pillow.

the story of a marble worker evrard flignot who devastated by the death of his wife built a mausoleum for her. at first look inside, there is a mourner reaching out to an empty wall. but, once a year, on the day of the summer solstice, the sun draws a light that recalls this love for almost a century.

I've made five more small cave horses. This lot will be up on my Etsy tomorrow (Wednesday 8th of May at 9am BST). I'm still in the process of setting up a customisable made to order listing, aiming to have it ready for the 20th of May.
