I won't have a chance to talk about it in a fic for ages and ages, but wanted to share my thought with other people.

In a universe where Randy lives, either through Billy and Stu never going through with that night or Randy just not getting murked in 2, I think he'd 100% become a youtuber. Specifically, I think he'd end up basically being Dead Meat. He gets his film study degree and other film related things in collage, but hadn't quite found where to break into the scene yet by the time youtube started to become a thing. He saw things like early Nostalgia Critic, AVGN, and other TGWTG reviewers, noticed no one was doing horror content, and taking up that mantle himself. Just as a hobby between work and finding a job in the film field. First few videos were cringie NC knock off type humor with skits, but they never took off. Then he did a Kill Count video, and that really took off. That became his main series on youtube people know him for, but I think he'd do essays from time to time on the median, like talking about queer horror or how world events effect the type of horror that comes out.

In my specific au where Billy and Stu don't go through with the murders and live, I think from time to time Randy would get Stu in a video with him. He's not a youtuber, but he's got that natural screen charisma and works in horror movie practical effects so can give cool behind the scenes looks at how it all works. The viewers start somewhat shipping them, and it drives Randy crazy because he's still single and desperate to find a GF. The happily (not legal yet) married Stu thinks it's hilarious and plays into it so much. Especially since they DO hook up sometimes when Randy's in town, so the denial of it on screen it the funniest thing in the world to him. (Don't worry, Billy is totally cool with this. This is way into their mid to late 20's and Billy has escaped his family situation and selfhatred, he's happy and doing ok now thanks to Stu)

“Who is she?” Carmen’s soft voice caused Francisca to look at her with furrowed-up eyebrows. The two were in a circle with Lily, Alexandra, Rebecca, and Kelly. All of their attention went straight to the girl Carmen was staring at.

Her wide-leg beige pants paired with a white off-the-shoulder blouse and her black Kelly belt caught the attention of the Spanish girl. The mystery girl held a black crocodile Birkin in her hands with her wrist adorned with a serpent watch and diamond-encrusted Cartier and Van Cleef bracelets. Everything about her screamed wealth.

“That’s Y/n L/n, Williams's new investor.” Alex's loud voice interrupted their thoughts as he and the other drivers walked up to the group of girls.

George was immediately by Carmen’s side, both of their eyes stuck on Y/n as she seemed to be on a phone call.

“Why’re you staring like that.” Pierre teased the Mercedes driver when he noticed his and his girlfriend's stare.

Alex turns and sees that Y/n has just hung up on the call. “Y/n! C’mere!” He called out, catching her attention.

Carmen’s eyes widened as both she and George immediately stood straighter. A sudden nervousness sprung in both of them as they saw Y/n smile and walk towards them, her heels clicking with each step.

“Alex, Hey!” She exclaimed with a smile, fixing her blown-out hair as she stood beside the Thai driver.

“Everyone meet Y/n, y/n meet everyone!”

The group immediately erupted into chatter, making Y/n feel comfortable and like she had known them for years. However, she felt 2 pairs of eyes on her.

She had first noticed the couple when she first arrived in the paddock. She saw them by the Mercedes. Their style had caught her attention. Their ‘old money’ style that she had seen trending on social media which was her own style as well.

Carmen’s raspy laugh and George’s cheeky smiles caught her attention before she had to get her eyes off them due to some media duties with Williams.

She didn’t realize she had also caught their attention until she felt their eyes on her as Max was ‘maxplaining’ something.

Y/n glances up and is met with both of their eyes. Her lips curled into a smile as she softly chuckled. Fortunately, since the three were standing off to the side, she leaned towards them and whispered, “I really like your watches.”

George glanced down at the silver and teal Rolex on his wrist that matched the one on Carmen’s. “Well, I-we like your everything.” He blurted out with a smile. The Spanish girl couldn’t help but snort at her boyfriend’s sudden boldness.

Y/n let out a shy giggle, glancing down at her black and tan Chanel Mary Jane’s. “Well, aren’t you both nice?” She quietly said as she tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear.

“Are you busy later?” Carmen asked with a hint of nervousness making her accent stronger.

“Not tonight, no.”

“How about dinner? Just the three of us, perhaps?” George responded with a hopeful smile.

Y/n kept looking between the two before her lips curled into a matching smile. “Tonight. 8. I’ll be waiting.” She says before turning around. She says a quick goodbye to the group leaving Carmen and George starstruck.

Sasappis aka “The Sassy Dreamer” - His power is telepathy and controlling people’s dreams. The Dreamer was the superhero name he had given himself, but people started to call him “Sassy Dreamer” due to his sarcasm and dark humor.

Pete Martino aka “Teleo Trooper” - His power is teleportation, giving him the ability to teleport to places with ease. He given himself the name “Teleo Trooper” for his power and his occupation, a Girl Scout Troop leader.

Alberta Haynes aka “Sonic Jazz” - Her power is sonic scream and her voice can be heard from a 1000 miles radius. Her most iconic use of her ability is singing to slow down or push away criminals. Jazz is her favorite music, hence why jazz is in her name.

Susan Montero aka “The Flower” - Her power is empathy which means she can feel and influence people’s emotions. Her most iconic use of her ability is making people go into a drugged-like state. Sometimes her ability goes both ways and she gets affected as well as the victim if she uses too much.

Thorfinn aka “The Squirrel Viking” - His power is electrokinesis, and he can control lighting and electricity. He gave himself the name “The Viking” but someone said the Squirrel Viking since he has a pet squirrel named Oskar (*cough cough* Sassappis), and since then the name stuck.

Isaac Higgintoot aka “The Revolutionary Historian” - His power is time travel and controlling time. He’s called the Historian for his love of history, specifically the American Revolution.

Hetty Woodstone aka “The Lady of the House” - Her power is mind control and make people do what she wants and desires. “The Lady of the House” is her given superhero name to show that she means business and never play by her.

Trevor Lefkowitz aka “The Banker Bro - His power is krpakinesis, which means cloth manipulation. He can create, shape and manipulate clothes of any material (cotton, plastic, leather, wool, etc.) or any flexible material consisting of natural or artificial fibers. He gave himself the name “The Banker Bro” because he wanted to be one.

Sonja would be a Gangrel 100% especially with how the Gangrel treat their fledgling vampires. On their own from the moment they die until they meet another Gangrel and answer their riddles correctly (aka tell them they’ve been on their own for a year and lived)

Tucker I’m on the fence for, leaning toward Tzimisce cause of the body horror but also the Tremere are the ones with blood magic…. I think he'd probably best settle as Banu Haqim with the eye for an eye you kick me I break your leg type justice

Tom would be a Brujah with the same certainty that Sonja would be a Gangrel. Silly cockroach guys with issues with authority who have a history of fucking with Bad Things. If we were to translate him becoming mecca-dianite then he could get Baali’d cause they’re the only vampires who can just eat your bloodline if I remember right

Jordan as a Salubri. Ianite’s either his Sire or in his bloodline and doing the ancestry whisper thing to him. It’s so silly over there in 3 eye land

Wag could be so funny in about any of the clans but there are two main ideas i have. 1. He'd fit in with the Tremere because of the them previously being mages before they became vampires thing. Also I think it'd just be really silly if all the Wizards are in the vampire cult on a technicality. They're not bound or anything they're just there for research purposes. Also for their medical access. 2. He's a Nosferatu! Human shaped but by god does he not look human. He's just chilling though he lives in the sewers like the rat he is (affectionate) Grey skin red eyes dripping what looks like blood sharp fingers big cloak animal-ish legs. Also Nossies doing illegal shit is so funny to me. bullets cant kill him and whats someone gonna do if they see him? "hey officer i saw a demon selling coke down that dark alley"

And for snippets of just. Things I think about them

Tucker and Tom’s predator type is Montero. They hunt together and make a whole fucked up game of it. Speaking of predator types, Sonja's is Alleycat so she just drops in on people and leaves, Jordan's a Pursuer because he gets to get silly with it as a treat, and Wag's a Sandman where he just sneaks into peoples houses and gives them a munch and crawls away like a lizard.

Tom also totally diablarized Dianite. It was really fucked up actually he pukes when he drinks kindred blood now because of the taste

Sonja never really got a Gangrel mentor even a few years after she was turned because she never figured out it was __ winters like what sane person would respond that way. She figured most things out on her own though

Jordan with his three eyes is so silly to me. His hair's kind of long in the front to cover it up but that's not the best solution so he literally has one of those big thick fabric headbands covering it. he says its to keep his hair out of his face. he looks RIDICULOUS

Wag stole his cloak from a larper and embroidered it himself to make it fit his vibe more. He also just shows up in random places through sewer grates like a horror movie monster because he can. More than once he's scared the SHIT out of the rest of the team by just talking when they don't know he's there or reaching out and grabbing their ankles. He has a tally for who he can get to scream the most

Tucker's perhaps gone a little insane and given in to the Voices but that's okay. It's not like there's an old as fuck vampire at the end of that path who wants to eat him or something. Also his old name when he was mortal was in fact Jericho, and sometimes the rest of the Coterie call him that to get his attention when they're in a rush. He hates it but damn does it work

Hmmm I wanna say Veronica likes something kinda in-between rock, folk, rap and pop? Her favorite band, for example, would be 'the Crane Wives', but she'd also be a fan of the rap artist 'NF' When I listen to a song and think 'Veronica would like this' most often it's because the song has a very powerful feel to it somehow? For examples of what I mean by it, 'KICK BACK' by Kenshi Yonezu (the first opening song of Chainsaw Man), or 'Usseewa' by Ado or 'Hell's Comin' With Me' by Poor Man's Poison. Basically the kind of song you'd wanna SCREAM along to But she also has an appreciation for more classical-inspired music, too, especially considering she grew up in Briar Valley. Some examples would be 'El Tango Egoista' by the artist nyanyannya, or the Kaleidoscope Orchestra's cover of 'MONTERO (call me by your name'. So definitely inspired by classical music, but not actually classical, if that makes sense. Basically: 'powerful' Whether that be musically or emotionally

Just Veronica in this one! Fact #1: She's actually pretty good at first aid! Since her father is a doctor, he taught her how to perform some first-aid, and even though they didn't speak with each other much outside of it, whenever she was home from school on a break or something similar, she'd help out in his clinic. So she's got some decent medical skills, and could disinfect, sew up and dress a wound if the situation called for it. Fact #2: This more goes back to the history of her as a character, but some of the biggest inspirations on her were Felix from Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and Oboro from Fire Emblem: Fates Fact #3: I feel like you could kinda intuit this, but she doesn't laugh often. She barely laughs at all, actually. Just like she barely smiles at all. But her humor is VERY sarcastic. Pretty mocking/insulting, actually... An example: She gives them her signature glare and speaks in a hostile tone of voice: "Absolutely elated." And the kind of humor she can actually end up laughing at is pretty similar, a sort of hyperbolically sarcastic, observational comedy— though again, also being quite mocking, basically making fun of someone.

Hey man! I just wanted to say that you’re one of the few writers that seem like they have fun writing, especially about these characters whose back stories are not super fun! It’s really a different set of pace to see stuilly stuff where they’re actually talking and dicking around like people. I just find that so much fun to read. Not that there aren’t many talented authors that write insanely dramatic shit and it’s just as life changing, but I think of your work often, and I enjoy that you take your time to write it to. Gen/ bc that shit is hard to do frrr.

So long story short, ur writing makes me very excited to read every word of it, and it also makes me insanely inspired to not be afraid to drag on scenes especially ones where they’re just talking and kicking it. <3

Keep forgetting to reply to this because I have the memory skills of a wet noodle, but every time I see this (and this oh I'll think of a really good response! Then forget again) it makes me feel so happy. I'm always so anxious about how long my works are and how filled they are with non plot relevant stuff, but knowing other people actually enjoy it means the world to me. I just love to write people as PEOPLE, you know? I love tough and mean murder scene Billy just as much as the next Scream guy, but I feel not enough people let them just be humans, you know? Billy and Stu had lives outside that one murder plot, and I love having fun in that space.

Also I swear I'm still working on Montero, I just have this thing where I feel if I'm not focusing on art all the time I'm not improving and will fail, so my writing sometimes ends up taking a back seat. Plus end of last year/start of this year I was part of the Miguel zine Enraptured which was a paid piece so I felt I had to put everything aside for that aha. I'm not ignoring it, I just like to write the things happening in my mind right that second before I forget them rather than going chapter by chapter like a normal person. My libreoffice doc with Montero says chapter 1 is just page 1-56 out of a 148 page work (35,982 words of 85,994...) so far.... I refuse to have chapter 2 take 2 years though I swear to god
