The theme of the prologue 1 gods isn't "The 6 of you are hereby exiled to Earth according to direct order from his majesty himself."
It's "That's it. You've been playing too much. Y'ALL GROUNDED! YOU'RE ON A TIME-OUT!!"

SCM- DEPARTMENT OF PUNISHMENT
ZYGLAVIS ♎️ - Sleep Well, My Love
A/N: Thank you for requesting anon. I hope this story is to your liking. 😊❤️
The rain fell heavily, making unpleasant noise as it hit the window. You were lying on the bed. Your eyes were tightly closed as you tried focusing on your breathing to calm your mind.
You knew, it was surely past midnight.
Tomorrow you had to wake up early, revise the documents one last time before handing it over to Lady Irianna. Then wait anxiously as they evaluate your work.
-
'Zyglavis? Are you done writing?'
Looking up Zyglavis met the eyes of his mentor. "No, sir. I- "
His metor raised his hand indicating him not to continue the rest of the sentence.
" You should take rest. We will complete the lessons tomorrow." He said as an affectionate smile graced on his face.
Reluctantly Zyglavis stood up and closed the book and notebook and snapped his fingers, putting them in their designated place.
" Thank you, sir ", he said before quietly exiting the room.
On his way to his room he was greeted by some of the rain drops them were carried by the wind. Which felt refreshing against his skin. He stood there in the hallway, gazing at the distant trees of the forest. Strangely enough, he thought of running out in this heavy rain shower and seek shelter in the woods leaving behind all his troubles. Will he be at peace there, he wondered?
Slow footsteps could be heard coming in his direction. But he was too engaged in his own thoughts to try and figure out who was there.
The footsteps came to a halt near him. Sensing the presence of his beloved, he turned around and smiled. She returned his smile; intertwining her fingers with his.
Hand in hand they walked back to their room.
-
" Can't sleep? " he said gently brushing a strand of your hair. " I am a bit worried..." you admitted.
" You have given your all. The result is not in our hands." He said trying to take some of the stress off your mind and placed a kiss on your temple. "Close your eyes, my dear."
You felt calm under his touch as he began stroking your hair.
He sang an old lullaby, from the peaceful days. The lyrics, telling the tale of a forgotten time somewhere in a remote valley hidden by the great walls of a mountain range. His voice gently guiding you; where you may rest in a peaceful slumber until the sun rises again.

I love how Zyglavis is the only one who wears the Punishments uniform 100% correctly.
Like you have the almost there:
The almost there but white collar not tucked in under the black one:
The gonna wear the collar different to everyone else (and screw the tie):
Meanwhile, Zyglavis:
Zig, hon, don't you find it stifling having it fully done up like that? I know this is clearly the way they were designed to be worn but Dui looks smart and waaaaay more comfortable than you do!
As an aside though, whilst I was gathering my thoughts and these screenshots something else came to my attention:
What are those Ikky? Pins? Spare buttons?

Hello, dear!
I know life is hectic and all, so don't pressure yourself to write this! And if you do decide to write it, there's no reason for you to rush! Really! Please don't pressure yourself and/or rush! It's no urgency.
The thing is, I'm working on my own books and well... My father keeps telling me how laughable they are. He says stuff like- "Your books would be great, if only you didn't include (said fantasy element)". One time he tried to force me to change a character's pink hair, because "iT iS UGlY aNd StuPid And nO rEaDEr wiLl LiKe It" I write about worlds aside from our own, about vampires, mermaids, fairies. It makes me happy. And he says it's childish. I've got quite a thick skin and it's not often one's words get to me, but sometimes they do. I'm not made of rock.
Can I have a Scorpy comfort for it?💗 (Again: You're more than free to decline and if you don't decline, please, don't rush!)
Thank you for your time!🌕💖
Scorpio~ Comfort
Synopsis: As an author, you often admire the fantastical elements of stories. Is it your fault that other people disagree? But you can’t give up on something that makes you happy… Your boyfriend won’t allow it.
✨Masterlist✨ Female goldfish! A/n: To be fair, I only share my fantasy ideas with my brother and other Ren-Fair-going friends. Anyone else thinks I’m absolutely nuts—or, it’s split really. They either think I’m nuts, or think I have the potential to be insanely rich and famous… SO, let’s agree to disagree with the weirdos who think we’re crazy and write all the crazy and fantasy core stuff we can! Swear it! PROMISE ME!
–Word Count: 3,449–
The atmosphere was fairly calm—as expected of an afternoon that was free of problem children. With Ichthys, Teorus, and Dui gone there weren’t any kids around to make any disturbances in the mansion. That made the ambience all the better for writing.
All that was heard through the big living room were the occasional sounds of papers shuffling, pens scratching against paper, and keyboard taps. The other gods were used to my quiet, focused presence in the mansion.
Every afternoon, after I was done with work, I’d make the trip to visit my boyfriend Scorpio. Though, since he was always busy with his work as a vice minister, it wasn’t uncommon for me to wait for him in the living room. At one point, he was overly concerned about the other gods bothering me, or about me wasting my time waiting for him to finish whatever he was busy doing.
It took quite a while before I was able to convince him that the other gods weren’t bothering me. After all, we shared the space in the living room to do our separate tasks. While they were busy working through their Wishes and Punishments documents, I was mentally in my own world as well, fleshing out characters and writing out interesting plots.
So, in reality, it was relaxing to be able to have a safe space to write and create to my heart’s content. It wasn’t like I was bothering anyone by being there, and they weren’t bothering me either. For instance, today was another peaceful afternoon with Huedhaut, Krioff, and Partheno.
Well, Partheno could partially be considered a problem child, but he could reign in his flirtatious personality around serious gods like Krioff and Huedhaut—most of the time, anyway. Considering Scorpio’s severe possessive nature over me, it made sense that they’d try to restrain themselves more often than not.
But, as I said, I was an author. That meant, on more occasions than none, I was neglecting my surroundings in favor of the words I was putting to paper—the headphones I wore over my ears didn’t help with my intense focus.
This made it somewhat difficult when Scorpio finally arrived in the living room, his eyes scanning over everyone present before landing on me. I was sitting on the floor beside the table, surrounded by scattered papers and images of inhuman creatures and more than a few writing utensils.
Scorpio’s eyes narrowed as he walked up behind me, peering over my shoulder at the work I was deeply invested in. It looked like some kind of crime scene, for sure. Rubbing his chin, he spoke up, “What are you investigating?” He quietly looked over the images around me. However, his question was met with silence. “(Name)?” He tried, once again receiving silence in return.
As Scorpio’s eyebrows furrowed, Krioff tilted his head, peering at the two of us. Though, his eyes landed on me as he tried to help Scorpio in getting my attention, “(Name), Scorpio’s trying to talk to you.”
Huedhaut huffed in amusement. “I guess she’s too absorbed in her work. She’s been working hard while waiting for you. She hasn’t gotten up from that spot since she got here.”
Scorpio hummed. He could tell that much. I was clearly in one of my little worlds. Reaching down, he laid a hand on my shoulder, making me jolt in surprise.
My wide eyes flickered up toward Scorpio and a smile erupted across my face. “Oh, hey! You’re back!” Fumbling with the earbuds in my ears, I took them out, putting them back in their case as I turned to look at my boyfriend. Though, a glance at the amused faces of the other gods told me that I missed something here, though it seemed fairly obvious what it could have been. “Uh… So… Have you been here trying to talk to me this whole time?”
Scorpio’s eyes narrowed in disbelief. “You seriously can’t hear anything with those things stuck in your ears?”
“Of course not,” I chirped. “I was listening to some good music, you know. It gets me in a work flow! Music is easy to associate with my characters and worlds and the different plots. That’s why movies are more interesting to watch—they have background music to make it more interesting. Look at how much I worked out in my story today!”
Eagerly I pulled Scorpio beside me at the table, rambling and ranting about the different characters and world that I was building.
Aside from the excitement he could feel through our physical contact, Scorpio could see very clearly how happy I was, invested with my work as if it were my very soul on display. It wasn’t rocket science, but it all seemed like a complicated process to Scorpio, so it made sense that he had more than a few questions, feeding into my passion.
“Why don’t you try creating a character?” I suddenly offered, shaking him out of his impressed reverie.
“Creating-” He stopped, dumbfounded by the suggestion. Creating these characters and stories meant a great deal to me, and Scorpio had to admit that he felt the same. He was proud that he had such a creative partner. But almost winced as he denied me, “I can barely manage my own emotions. You want me to ‘create’ and ‘flesh out’ the emotions of someone that doesn’t even exist?” Saying it out loud, he was definitely impressed with the skills I had to be able to create something from nothing—impressive for a goldfish anyway. Gods could do that with a snap of their fingers—something less impressive in Scorpio’s opinion. But he’d never admit any of that out loud—unless you were alone and he wanted to fluster you, that is.
“Pfft,” I snorted in amusement. I was really curious about the kind of character Scorpio would have made, but being creative is a process. I wasn’t going to push him or blame him if he couldn’t come up with a character on the spot. Making an OC was work, and I badly wanted to introduce Scorpio to it. “Well, fine. I’m not going to pressure you. But why don’t you take a look at some of the characters I made? I can even tell you how I made them and what was going through my head, so that way you can make a character one day! I promise it’s really fun!”
My excitement wasn’t really something Scorpio could say no to, and the other gods had to hold back their laughter at seeing Scorpio getting dragged into one of my projects. Of course, Scorpio would never mind getting dragged into something I was interested in—that was just how much he cared about me. As long as I was happy, Scorpio had no complaints.
***
That evening after I went home, however, I had to go through pain that was very familiar to me. Without the encouragement of Scorpio, I was stuck in my own head—not a good thing after the argument I had upon returning home.
I was expecting a decent evening of relaxing and creating upon returning home. After all, I had a few new ideas in my head since chatting out loud with Scorpio. Unfortunately, my hopes were shot down almost immediately. As soon as I walked in through the door with all of my creative tools, the lecture began…
It was familiar and awfully repetitive, but no less painful to hear that my father genuinely believed that I was doing things that wouldn’t get me anywhere. It drew many questions that I didn’t want to hear, but wouldn’t leave me alone once it was in my head.
How could I have a life for myself like this? Did I really think that having my head in a world full of mermaids was going to get me a well-paying job and a house? Did I think anyone would want to be with a person who could only think about unrealistic people with rainbow hair and supernatural powers?
I was too unrealistic.
I was too childish.
I was too naive.
I wondered if Scorpio thought similar things. After all, I did often ramble to him about my ideas, especially when I was trying to clear out writer's block. Though… if I was genuinely bothering him, I’d have to stop. Sighing, I curled up in my bed, trying to decide what I was going to be doing about this situation from now on.
***
The next day in the mansion when Scorpio returned from work, I wasn’t wearing my usual smile. In fact, nothing about this scene seemed usual aside from the scattered work of the Departments of Punishments and Wishes.
I didn’t have that super intense look in my eyes that he was used to seeing when I was passionate about what I was doing. Really, I wasn’t even doing what he was used to seeing. There was no creative binder in sight. No pens. No pencils. No colors. Just a single bookand even that didn’t seem to be bringing me any joy.
Staring at me for another long moment, Scorpio’s eyes narrowed, determined to fix this incorrect scene. Going up to me, he first decided to understand what I was doing in the first place that I seemed unhappy with my task of reading. “Hey,” he spoke up, catching my attention at first call. This also wasn’t usual. Where were the little music buds that I’d put in my ears? His eyebrows furrowed. “What are you doing?”
“I’m… reading a book,” I answered, blinking slowly. “Obviously?”
“I see that.” Scorpio sighed, trying again. “What kind of book? Is it something with school, or something that you’re studying?” He was hoping maybe, just maybe, it had something to do with something I was creating.
Unfortunately, the answer was entirely different to what he was hoping as I muttered, almost in a disappointed tone, “I wish… That might be more interesting than this. It’s a… non-fiction book about a woman who’s taking a trip to Rome for the first time.”
“Scorpio’s eyes flickered away in confusion before he glanced at the cover of the book. He really didn’t understand my motives. “And that’s… interesting?” This conversation was going slow and he wasn’t sure what to ask. I didn’t seem like I could care less about that book and he wasn’t sure what more to ask about it.
But he was grateful when I admitted something useful, “I’m… not really a fan of non-fiction, if I’m being honest. But, if I can’t go to Middle Earth, I guess the least I could do is go to Europe.”
He nodded his head in understanding. “You can’t go to a place that doesn’t exist, that’s why you write about places you’d like to see yourself going—like under the ocean, or another world.” Well, he assumed he understood what was being unspokenly admitted. “You know, if you ever want to go anywhere, all you have to do is ask. I know you don’t like abusing my power as a god, but if you want to go on vacation-”
“What? No, no, no,” I interrupted him, shaking my head as I lowered the book onto my lap. It seemed my problem was a bit deeper than Scorpio realized. “I don’t really want to go to Europe. They don’t have elves in Europe, Scorpio. Though… I heard they have werewolves in London…” Trailing off, I shook my head. “No, forget it. That’s such an unrealistic idea.”
Scorpio was struck surprised by my utter lack of enthusiasm. He didn’t understand what had changed in me since yesterday. So, going to these places was unrealistic, but what was the point? There were a lot of unrealistic things in life, that didn’t mean they weren’t worth mulling over. Frustrated with my dull mood, he asked seriously, “Unrealistic or not, you like it, don’t you?”
“Just because I like something, that doesn’t mean that other people are going to like it,” I pointed out my flaw. Everyone had character flaws, Scorpio remembered me saying the day prior. He didn’t think I would consider my own woes as personal character flaws. But he certainly wasn’t expecting me to suddenly shout, “You can’t expect everyone to like people that can turn into big scary puppies, or people that can turn into fish, or cool centaurs, or GODS, for crying out loud!”
He fell silent for a moment at my outburst. It was unprecedented in his opinion, which just proved that there was definitely something out of the box that was bothering me. Holding his hand out for me to take, he said, “Alright. So, what’s the deal? Why do other people have to like something that makes you happy?” This time, I couldn’t seem to answer him. With a soft, reassuring smile, he offered, “Come on. Let’s go walk.”
Sighing, I put my book aside as I accepted his hand, walking outside into the garden with him, hand in hand. I knew Scorpio could tell I was sad and upset over something—contact or no contact. Getting me outside was just an excuse- Well, it wasn’t an excuse. This was just to give me the opportunity to take my time and open up to him on my own without the need for unnecessary questions that I probably didn’t need to hear on repeat. After all, he could ask all the questions he wanted, but I’d only be able to answer when I was ready to answer.
“I… had an argument with my dad yesterday,” I admitted with a sigh, drawing Scorpio’s concerned eyes to me. He was giving me his undivided attention, listening to every detail as I gave a brief description of all the cruel comments that were made about my choices in creativity.
This only served to piss Scorpio off, though he was restraining himself from saying anything outright rude about your father. He still let out a few harsh comments to get his frustration out. “You think he has any right to tell you what you can and can’t have going on through that head of yours? It’s petty to stifle someone else’s creative freedom when it didn’t even pertain to him in the first place.”
“He has a point though…” I quietly defended the cruel insults to my passion. “The real world is nothing like I’m trying to make it. I shouldn’t be so childish…”
“Anyone who’s going to put you down for enjoying something that makes you happy is childish,” he snapped with a cold sneer.
Scorpio was right too, I figured, but my dad also had a point. I was utterly conflicted, stuck between what I wanted and the reality of the world. So, I decided it was better to forget about it for the moment. Scorpio and I could just enjoy our walk for the afternoon.
Still, despite how calm and peaceful it seemed, he could feel the conflict in my heart. He knew I wasn’t okay and he was wracking his head for ways to make me feel like my quirky hobbies and interests were something others could like too. Sure, it was irrelevant, but if it showed me that I could still enjoy my hobbies, he was going to do anything. He longed to see my smile.
***
The next day, after a long depressing day of work and waiting, Scorpio finally arrived in the mansion and was too excited to resist going up to me with a new solution. Of course, it didn’t show on his face, but compared to most days, he definitely had something up his sleeve as he took me to his room to show me his great work.
Almost smugly, he introduced to me his own OC. “I followed all of your directions and I created a character for you.” Grinning, he looked proud of himself as he made hand gestures to the little figure he doodled the night before. The character was definitely an odd shape, but I could tell Scorpio put his heart into his work and was low-key seeking my approval. So, I observed his creation with avid interest as he explained that the little eyepatched, long haired, figure was a champion of justice.
“Oh…” I tilted my head. All of this sounded intimately familiar to me, but I nodded my head with each word that left Scorpio’s mouth, looking as supportive as I could manage. But the champion of justice thing… I swear he took that title from Ichthys. “I see,” I started awkwardly. “But, uh… Scorpio… Isn’t that just you?”
“That’s not me!” He huffed, pointing at the crude drawing. “This guy smiles all the time. Besides, his hair is long and blue. We couldn’t be more different.”
“So… He’s your and Zyglavis’ love child?”
“Our what?!” Scorpio screamed, likely alerting all the gods in the mansion.
His volume made me recoil in surprise. “It’s a joke, it’s a joke!” I tried to defend, laughing quietly at his abrupt reaction. Despite my joke… Scorpio liked seeing me smiling again. It made him feel warm on the inside. “I’m kidding,” I continued, gesturing to Scorpio’s drawing. “That’s how characters are supposed to be. It’s taking aspects of things that you know and putting them into someone new. And this character just happens to remind me of you and Zyglavis.”
Scorpio, though he was slow to take in my explanation about him and Zyglavis, was slowly trying to encourage me back into my interests. “So,” he asked, “it’s another way of being creative?”
“Yeah, like that,” I agreed, looking down at the paper in his hands before I pulled my binder out of my bag. “Here, why don’t I show you and we can make a few characters together? Djo you want to make combinations of the other gods?”
Scorpio was relieved that I was getting back to being myself, but he wanted something from me before we started working on a project together. He wasn’t going to shoot down my idea of showing him how to make a character, but he needed a bit of reassurance. “I’ll let you do that if you can do something for me.”
I paused, glancing up from where I was getting my materials out on his desk. “Sure thing. What’s up?”
“I want you to promise me that you won’t give up on anything that makes you smile.” Taking my hand, he added, “Don’t give up on anything that makes your heart race. Don’t give up on anything that gives you this feeling that I feel when I hold your hand. I like this feeling, and I know that you do too. So, can you promise me that?”
My heart skipped as he stared into my eyes. I never imagined my passions would lead me to a situation like this. I guess… my passions were worthy of being loved by another person. Timidly, I agreed, “Yeah… I promise, Scorpio.”

Star Crossed Myth - Review of Zyglavis, Hue and Scorpio
My current Star Crossed Myth career is at its peak - I wholly finished three routes (yes, that much, envious?) and now I need to unleash my brainrot. The finished routes: Zyglavis, Hue, Scorpio - in this order. 2:1 for Punishments but I suppose that is not surprise given that this game subverts the expectations of how gods should be and Punishments gods are mostly mewling kittens.
Zyglavis route as whole was, how to put it, felt like I dated a man who is older than me by 20 years. Comforting, reliable but also very lonesome and sometimes distant experience. His later parts of story were frustrating but this time the meme "my life is living hell and I have nobody but myself to blame" applies. The King shockingly is not the antagonist in this route, Zyglavis rigidity is. As much as I love strict meganes who are kind souls inside, I couldn't feel the real love and connection between him and his MC. Favorite scene in his route: The realization in his main story, where he finally acknowledged that he loves MC. The tenderness was palapable as he wiped her tears and whispered "you cry for others?" - it was very defining moment that rekindled his faith in humanity Favorite scene with Zyglavis overall: His infamous arrival in Hue's route where he breaks through window 😂 Route rating: 7,5/10
Hue... I kind of regret that I did his second. I should definitely do him last. So if you plan to play, don't do the same stupid mistake like I did. His route is full of lore and background about MC. The background especially will cause you LOTS of pain if you do his route early and then proceed to other gods. Relationship with Hue felt just right. Like two halves of one soul united and in a sense, it's true. Two halves of stars reunited 😭 I mean how much more of "their love is destiny" vibes can this get? Their banter was entertaining and witty, ocassionaly MC really flipped the tables back on Hue and it was amusing to see his reaction. Hue is definitely the brain in this relationship but his MC is not stupid either - rather, she is jealous and insecure. If you read my previous post where I ranted about this, you will understand what I mean. The ending of whole route was very unsatisfactory and the jelaousy plot of MC's was dominant arc, which annoyed the hell out of me. You know what would be absolutely perfect ending for Hue? If he got Scorpio's ending. Here, I said it. Favorite scene in his route: When MC travels back in time and is Clotho. Then she dies and we can see the aftermath - Hue, standing in the darkness of his room and MC clinging to his lifeless, breathing body. He just pulled out his eye for her, effectively crippling himself in the name of love even if the result was uncertain. The sheer rawness of the moment, the despair and mourning - it all deeply resonated with me. Favorite scene with Hue overall: The sequel (?) ending where Hue and MC talk their feelings and MC admits that she thought the source of Hue's uneasiness was his dissatisfaction with their lovemaking. Hue is literally speechless for a moment because it would never ever occur to him that THIS was one of MC's concerns. The aftermath to this scene is 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Rating: 9,5/10 - I blame overused jelaousy plot. Once, it was nice. Using it all the time was rather tiresome.
Scorpio, the local tsundere god from Wish- ahem, Heavens. He definitely is the most rude LI that I had the honor to date 😂 I don't really like tsundere types and at first, I really couldn't warm up to Scorpio. But his scene with train tickets won me over - man was extremely cute 😂 However, in terms of relationship, his and MC's reminds me of italian couple - they argue, loudly and violently, and then they probably hate-fuck or make up. Not the most healthy dynamic on the market but hey, it's otome, red flags are welcome. Needless to say, that Scorpio became green flag in disguise. His explosive vocabulary and prickliness won't go ever away but he softens significantly and opens up to MC. It was very heartwarming to see the progress fromt he begining, where he couldn't read MC's emotions at all to the end, where one look at her face was enough for him to deduce what she is thinking. The constant source of comedy in this route was Scorpio's mind reading ability and his open defiance to the King. Yes, the King. If I thought that the King was extremely tame in Hue's route, in Scorpio's the King is main antagonist and the biggest dick in universe. "Sparkly bastard. Sorry excuse for a king. That bitch." - Scorpio, circa 2015 This route had absolutely the best ending of all three - literally the ideal outcome that I wished would happen in Hue's. The real promise of Infinity together. I don't know what I expected but it really was not the most romantic rendition of Sleeping Beauty. Favorite scene in this route: Rabbit. Apples. The first time when they come up, the scene is SO darn cute. Then the apples become the staple of the route and source of comfort between MC and Scorpio. CUTE. Favorite scene with Scorpio overall: My knees went weak from that CG and moment where Scorpio and MC couldn't touch each other. They were in MC's apartment and Scorpio was about to leave. The longing, the love, the passion when they touched and kissed as the glass window separated them... *slaps seal of forbbiden longing* This is how it should be done. Rating: 10/10, no regrets. They said fuck the King and really did it.

As much as we all love Scorpio, there's no denying he deserves to get told off at least once. Maybe more.
This takes place in Scorpio's route, a little after the prologue. The gods have been on earth for a few weeks at this point.
Gender neutral mc, no gendered language used. I am using my own name here, though.

Sting Him Back (Scorpio x MC)
I really don't know why I chose him. He's never been anything but rude to me. I try to be nice, but I'm really getting sick of it. He won't even call me by name! He just refuses. It really is infuriating, now that I think about it. If I have to sit through another round of his insults-
"Hey! Stupid human, can't you hear me?! I said get over here and help me!"" Scorpio barks out, startling me out of my thoughts.
Deciding that I've had enough of him, and of being nice, I fire back, "I DO have a name, you know."
"There's no reason for me to use your name. Stupid human."
"Oh, I've got a reason. It's called respect!"
"Why should I respect a filthy human like you?!"
"Because it costs you NOTHING to be polite! Absolutely nothing! You're making a big deal out of this for no reason!"
"Tch... Who do you think you are, talking to a god like that?" As he speaks, he flashes his upturned sneer at me. Holy hell it pisses me off when he does that.
I have an idea, just to spite him. I've already turned around, my back to him. Standing with my arms crossed over my chest, I pretend like I don't hear Scorpio. I casually make eye contact with Leon and show him a confident grin to silently communicate my plans. He catches on and is unsurprisingly thrilled to play along.
"That Scorpion is stubborn as ever, isn't he," Leon comments.
"Hmph, you're telling me. He's unbearable," I reply back.
"HEY! FILTHY HUMAN!"
I stare at nothing in particular, arms crossed, like I'm deep in thought and didn't hear him.
"Stupid human, look at me when I'm talking to you!"
I give no response. This is about to get fun.
"...Hm? Say something, Scorpio?"
"Yes, I told you-"
"Oh, silly me, must be hearing things."
"DAMMIT HUMAN, YOU BETTER ANSWER ME OR EL-"
Sounds like a good time to have at him.
I whip around to face him, speaking with a mocking tone, "Ohhh, was that supposed to scare me??? Why should I fear a scoundrel like you with no decorum whatsoever?"
"EXCUSE ME?!" comes his indignant screech.
With a sickly sweet smile, a honeyed tone, and a falsely sincere hand to my heart, I say to him, "Oh, of course, you're excused!" My sweet grin turns wicked.
Oh yeah, Scorpio's ticked. Realizing he won't win this, he yells, "UGH!"
And with that, he stomps away, dramatically slamming the door shut behind him.
"Aww, you don't wanna play anymore? That's too bad," I purr out. I'm quite satisfied with myself, if I'm being honest.
With his signature smirk, Leon praises, "I'm impressed, Goldfish. You've got quite the backbone."
Ichthys is shocked, and it shows on his face. "That. Was. AWESOME, WINTER!!!" Now grinning, he adds, "You tooootttallllllyyy told Scorpy off!!!" After his cheers of delight, Ichthys couldn't help himself from sticking his tongue out.
Teorus squawks in agreement, "Yeah! Who knew Goldie could get scary!!!
Dui chimes in next, beaming, "No one can say you aren't brave, Winter."
Huedhaut pipes up with, "I must admit, I admire the snark. Well done."
I play along with Huedhaut, my smile present in my voice, "That's quite the high compliment, considering it came from you."
~~~
Later that evening, I'm still hanging out at the mansion. Scorpio hasn't come back out since he stormed off.
I'm chatting with Dui when I hear something. Scorpio has come back to the living room, presumably thinking I'd be gone by now. The moment he sees me, he stops dead in his tracks and actually growls. I can't say I'm surprised. I am a little amused, however...
Now, Scorpio and I are just staring at each other. Breaking the silence, with heavy sarcasm in my tone, I ask, "What, are you back for more?"
He just scowls, turns on his heel, and walks right out.
