There's a word we use for stories that probably aren't completely true, but that tie in with half-remembered and vital facts relating to events from long before we were born. We call them Gospels, and even if they're not completely true, there's enough Truth in them to be valuable and meaningful.
What are some chronic illnesses that can only occur in a fantasy setting?

Once again having dreams about having a woman moment instead of last time where it was borderline cosmic horror this time it was incredibly mundane. I essentially got to live in the world we do now but in my body as I see it internally as a GNC multigender transgender woman with people supporting me during a hard time and I get more emotional thinking about it than I do the crazy alien forcefem dream honestly. Girlhood is a spectrum I guess LOL
It feels hard for me to really express these feelings outwardly because our system is largely guys and outwardly transmasc so I don't want other people who don't get the system thing to think we're detransitioning but I don't really feel cis when going through these feelings because of how I percieve myself internally. People get weird about those with certain bodies identifying with transfemininity at any capacity but I need to just stop caring. It's not my problem if people try to misinterpret my experiences as some kind of malice or trying to claim a kind of oppression I don't typically experience in this body.
Going to try to be more open about these things I think the recurring dreams are signs I've been neglecting one of the whole other genders in my multigender experience for too long.

I am a schrodiger's gender. I am neither cis nor trans until somebody asks me, and then I just make something up on the spot.

I just realize why why showrunner said sylvie is expert and powerful. I think it's has to do with near death experience, I meant you know in theory in very dangerous situation peoples will be different like someone very slow running when they want save themselves they run will be more faster, or some hidden power that will showing in very dangerous situation
I meant technically that was true but somehow showrunner wrong make visual from it. Also sure sylvie definitely live was not like normal suburan person but she have tampad ,I am pretty sure when the big disaster arrive she can just escape. To be honest sylvie definitely schrodiger cat.
An expert in what? She shouldn't know anymore then the TVA does. She's an expert in avoiding them but that's it. Any technical should be know within the ranks of the TVA. Sylvie knew the TVA were variants because her enchantment could unlock their memories, but she knew nothing of Kang or the real reason for the TVA. The series even went out of their way to say enchantment was the only magic, but then she just has magic blasts and telekinesis in the last episode of season one because they need the fight less one side. But then again they never have the characters use magic beyond that. No scrying, teleporting, shapeshifting or ice powers.
Sylvie power is doing what the plot needs that's it. This is a badly written show. I don't know what else to say at this point.

Almost a month since I last posted!!?!?!? Oh mah gawd!?!? I need to fix that!!
I watched a podcast by SixtySymbols on YouTube, posted 22/8/23 - "The Interesting Physics of Robert Oppenheimer (not the bomb)" , on 22/8/23. So now imma share it with you so I actually remember the lore.
So we've all heard of the Barbenheimer conspiracy....but do you really know about Oppenheimers achievements which didnt lead to death!?!? I bet you don't!!
In 1927, Oppenheimer worked with Max Born to work on molecular quantum mechanics. They tried to apply Schrodingers equation to molecules and used the approximation that nuclei are heavier than electrons so the nuclei are stationary whilst the electrons are moving. This simplified the equation A LOT as now there were less things moving. Schrodigers equation was solved for the electronic energy levels which depended where the molecules where. This answer was then imputed back into the equation but this time the nuclei were moving!! And when an answer was found for that it was put back into Schrodingers equation AGAIN for the whole system in motion to find the spectra of the molecules!! This formed the Born-Oppenheimer approximation which is SOOOOO important to chemistry theres a whole branch of chemistry trying to ignore it!! You know you're important when people actively try to pretend you dont exist!!
In 1930, our boi Oppenheimer was at it again...and almost predicted the existence of the positron, the first anti particle!! Buuuut he didnt quite go through with it /doubt . You see Dirac had created a relativistic equation for the electron but it had more than one solution....one with positive charge. Scientists at the time thought the other solution was the proton. Oppenheimer was like helll nawwwr, that's wrong!! And proceeded that when you scatter light against an electron the way the light scatters should be the same for the proton if the other particle is the proton but this doesnt happen as they have different mass. Thus there has to be another particle with the same mass but opposite charge as an electron. Then, he dropped it. Sooo close!! Another interesting thing is Anderson is credited with discovering the positron, but Blackett discovered it first but published it after...
And you wanna know what else Oppenheimer did in 1930!?!?! He was ratio'd by one of his partners....Wolfgang Pauli ((one of the fathers of quantum mechanics)). Pauli said "Oppenheimers physics is always interesting but his calculations are always wrong." Pauli and Oppeneheimer worked together on the idea of an electrons 'self energy' which they thought couldnt be plausible. The electron was thought of as a point-like object which moves in an electromagnetic field as it has charge. But Pauli realised that the electron produces it's own electromagnetic field. According to classical physics this meant the electron will have infinite energy from its electromagnetic field as it stretches to infinity ((virtual photons be like)). However, the electron also doesnt behave like it has infinite energy.....we got a problem. Oppenheimer used Diracs theory to treat the problem like quantum mechanics ((with the help of Pauli)). Oppenheimer found that when he went to high order approximations of electron energy levels of hydrogen, then there was an infinite contribution of energy. If only we could harness the power of electrons....oh wait that's kinda electricity.
In 1939 Oppenheimmer switched his focus to astrophysics and began to work on the structure of neutron stars. He realized there was a maximum mass a neutron star could have for it to be stable and in equilibrium....so he did what anyone does and was like WhAt If I aDd MoRe MaSs!?!?!?! The neutron star would collapse into a black hole. He was the first person to find that out. He also took a spherical star, with constant density and realized the geometry inside the star was the same as a contracting universe, so the star will eventually collapse and become a black hole...but umm remember the bit where inside the star is the same as a contracting universe!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Insane. And he even suggested that if someone was watching a person fall into a black hole from a distance, it would take an infinate amount of time!! So to that person they would never fall into the black hole...but to the person in the black hole, they're spaghetti.

okay hear me out but the quarry taking place in the fuck no the movie verse because the dates line up AND everything that happens at hacketts quarry would be more present in the publics minds so our trash trio publish the book/game/movie hardly anyone thinks of that awful blackwoods incident not for a while at least 👀
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooh my god. ash.
ash.
i am. dyin. this is. too perfect. they glom onto that timing like peanut butter on celery, knowing that (1) with THE BLACKWOOD INCIDENT out of everyone's minds, and THE NORTH KILL INCIDENT taking up the spotlight, chances are SOOOOO slim any of the other blackwood kids would start shit right away; (2) now that there's a NEW WEIRDNESS IN TOWN people are gonna be LOOKIN for something spooky to ingest; (3) you do realize this opens the door for um oh what's...what's the word...uh...
a seQUEL
"from the team who brought you the mouth in the frost comes the next jarring installation: the mouth in the night! coming this summer!" now MY biggest question is........which hacketteer(s) would be the most likely to try and cash in on everything when the trash trio comes a'knockin' asking for their story (and publishing rights obvsobvsobvsobvsobvsobvs)

Each Of Us Know Different Things: Epistemological Approaches to Quantum theory
“To see why the quantum state might represent what someone knows, consider another case where we use probabilities. Before your friend rolls a die, you guess what side will face up. If your friend rolls a standard six-sided die, you’d usually say there is about a 17 percent (or one in six) chance that you’ll be right, whatever you guess. Here the probability represents something about you: your state of knowledge about the die. Let’s say your back is turned while she rolls it, so that she sees the result—a six, say—but not you. As far as you are concerned, the outcome remains uncertain, even though she knows it. Probabilities that represent a person’s uncertainty, even though there is some fact of the matter, are called epistemic, from one of the Greek words for knowledge.
This means that you and your friend could assign very different probabilities, without either of you being wrong. You say the probability of the die showing a six is 17 percent, whereas your friend, who has seen the outcome already, says that it is 100 percent. That is because each of you knows different things, and the probabilities are representations of your respective states of knowledge. The only incorrect assignments, in fact, would be ones that said there was no chance at all that the die showed a six.”
The above passages come from an article in Nautilus magazine. The article is titled: Is Quantum Theory About Reality or What We Know?, and it discusses epistemological approaches to quantum theory.
I sort of unknowingly (no pun intended) took this approach at my book group a few weeks ago while reading Deepak Chopra’s new book (Chopra is a very anthropocentric subjective idealist, btw). In the book, Chopra was using quantum theory to make a case for subjective idealism by citing the famous thought experiment about a dead cat dreamed up by Erwin Schrödinger. Schrödinger used the thought experiment to illustrate the problem he saw with the Copenhagen Interpretation of quantum mechanics, which essentially states that an object in a physical system can simultaneously exist in all possible configurations, but observing the system forces the system to collapse and forces the object into just one of those possible states. So, as Berkley would say, to be is to be perceived. And this is what Chopra also wants to argue: reality, at its most fundamental level, is more like the human mind than anything else.
Approaching this from a panpsychist/panexperientialist point of view, I speculated that if we understand that physics, like biology, is the study of living organisms that also have various degrees of subjectivity like humans (i.e. physics studies the smaller organisms and biology studies slightly larger ones), then yes, those organisms which constitute the box are also constantly prehending/feeling/taking account of things in their environment, and certainly do participate in creating reality. So, like the dice example mentioned in the passages above, the organisms that make up the box for example, which again are also perceiving subjects, help to end the quantum superposition, collapsing it, and thus already have knowledge of the cat’s status inside the box even if the outside observers are left with epistemic uncertainty. I think it’s reasonable to speculate that both the observers outside the box (the scientists) and the observers inside the box (the simpler organisms constituting the box) can assign different probabilities without being wrong.

still dont think thats how it works but we'll just call it Schrodinger 2.

ok late night/early am weird girl post
so think of the Schrodigers Destiel, like the.. well they could have fucked and we didn't see it thought process, because it can't really ever be proven or disproven, as real as they feel they are fictional characters.
so I have been making a destiel playthrough in skyrim, and I have a bunch of mods, anyway, I can assign abilities and general aggressiveness ect, mostly basic stuff, I can also let them just go do their own thing.
So I pumped them both with as much Dean Cas attributes as I possibly could and I gotta say its been weird.
So much of what I am doing is figuring out what I am doing, but they way these guys look at eachother, the choices they make, I didn’t Mary them yet, but they have the dialog for it..
and that could be a bug.. but on a new game I loaded the characters onto, they should have been mostly wiped, but they weren't, they still love eachother, stand closer than the other characters despite the settings being the same for the others, idk its wild.
Because at the end of the day they are ideas of individual that I put on to game characters and yet..?
So back to the shrodingers destiel. these two ideas of characters have a habit of breaking the script they are in to be together, and I think that's crazy and cool.
