Hi, Dara. Are there any bands you like listening to these days?
Hehehe, Hello Schnuron ! How are you ? :) I recently started to revamp my spotify playlists, Sorting everything i listen by mood and basicaly i listen every of them almost everyday. (https://open.spotify.com/user/daraby?si=f3b0ce26b32641d1) But i don't have a drive for an artist in particular. I discover and consume a lot of music, mostly when i'm doing something else like gaming or working so i'm not very attentive to the bands. I think the last really good surprises i had are Aaron Hibell, JeanneTo, THEA and Felsmann + Tiley I think i'm in a era.

Quick render art trade with @schnuron
I had the pleasure to draw his OC Moran ^^ She was a lot of fun to draw! It's incredibly rare that I draw something super organic like her; I hardly draw noses or human-like lips.Check out Schnuron's stuff for cool cartoons, spicy imagery and fan art!

Hi. Do you still use SAI to draw the lines and fill the colors to the characters? Or do you use a different drawing program?
I never used Sai in the first place. I use Manga Studio 5.

Hi Gabi. First of all, I enjoy seeing your artstyle. I guess my favorites are the Argonians you drew in the past, they look so great to me. I got to ask you something. Have you heard of an UK electronic band called Underworld?
Heyo! Thank you, I still like drawing Argonians (even if I don’t do it as much nowadays).Hmm their music sounds familiar. I like the older stuff better tbh. I hope you asked because of that one song called Sole Survivor. Because now that’s my headcanon “get pumped while working on your power armor” soundtrack for Hauser :D

Can you name three webcomics that you like reading them on the internet?
Oh man. Honestly, I don’t follow many webcomics at the moment. I’m regularly following Skadi by Katie Rice (which will be ending soon), and I’m currently staying up to date with Harlowe Vanished (which just started!).
Are there any specific webcomics you guys would recommend to me? I would enjoy slice-of-life, comedy, and/or overall cute and expressive comics much more, but feel free to recommend whatever to me! IM me or send me a note~ ^^

Darkwave
10/19/2023 My interest of darkwave took me longer to get into it that not many people have told me in the past.
For those who don't know what darkwave is, it's dark synthpop that doesn't progress to be popular in mainstream media. From the information I've read, it began with Clan of Xymox in the 80s and kudos to it that I've listened to their full discography and loved them.
The songs have no hooks from pop/rock/hip-hop musicians. It's listening to a score to get the vibe of something you want to or "my soundtrack playlist" that nowadays people are listening to like Taylor Swift or A$AP Rocky. (https://www.complex.com/music/a/bdandrid/no-hook-viral-rap-songs-structure-changes) Basically, it's the vibe music.
Before darkwave, I heard Sisters of Mercy's Floodland in 2016 and I loved it, but I've never been a nerd of it. Synthwave took me over in that year, thanks to Perturbator's Dangerous Days (heard of it in 2015), GUNSHIP, John Carpenter and Hotline Miami OSTs. I still listen to Synthwave, but I've been least active of that genre since it's kinda ubiquitous at this point.
I heard of a few darkwave albums in the past like Drab Majesty or Boy Harsher's Country Girl EP in 2018, yet that genre didn't grasp me fully. I love Perturbator's Lustful Sacraments. That is until I heard of Mareux's The Perfect Girl (The Cure cover) in February of this year, thanks to Zoolander's meme I saw. I loved that song. How come no one suggested me this song before? ehh…
Darkwave hooked me with Mareux's music in April this year and I've been enamored of searching for more bands like Mareux and so far, I've found plenty of bands I love and some didn't click me. Hopefully they'll keep making one darkwave album per year or tops. No pressure.
The unanswered question is how long do I keep listening to it. I don't know. The genres I heard like punk (The Stooges or Husker Du), hard rock (Led Zeppelin's third album or AC/DC), pop punk (Yellowcard or Fall Out Boy) heavy metal (Judas Priest or Iron Maiden), Alternative Rock (Story of the Year or Filter), Industrial (Nine Inch Nails or Contagion) metalcore (Bullet For My Valentine/Killswitch Engage), ambient (Plastikman's Consumed), thrash metal (Megadeth's Rust in Peace or Sepultura), grindcore (Terrorizer or Anal Cunt), death metal (Carcass or Death) and black metal (Burzum's Hvis Lyset Tat Oss) are stored in my brain. I'm not enthusiastic of discovering new bands (Spiritbox or Sleep Token) of an existing genre. People will find a niche to a particular band or a number of bands in one way or another.
I still like Queens of the Stone Age from time to time. xP
Will another genre get me addictive in the future? K-pop or noise music? Maybe. Or I'm just apathetic to hook me in a derivative music world.
Whatever. I'm listening to Hante. - Morning Tsunami.
Have a nice spooky month, folks. ^^

Hi, David. A few months ago, I remember I saw your female OC called Bellatrix in your dA's gallery. Did you comment about that she's an alien? Does she live with some alien species in some different planet? 'cause I love your OC. I may illustrate or sketch your alien design in some spare time, Dave. By the way, Regulus looks wicked and pretty well-designed to me. :)
I think I did mention she was an alien when I showed the first drawing of her. If I didn’t then sorry!
Answering your question, being the queen of her species and an entire empire, she of course has a cozy spot in her homeworld (which doubles as the capital planet of the empire). However, she prefers to spend time out in space doing things other than staying cooped up in her throne room. She’s picked up the hobby of making surprise visits to Empire-conquered planets, as well as competing in a slew of intergalactic tv shows, competitions, and challenges, and accepts most interviews and photo shoot requests thrown at her (which are a LOT). I mean, you’ve got to break the monotony of being an uber-powerful queen somehow, right?

I have a question for you: What is your favorite genre of video games in your point of view?
I’m partial to Action/Adventure games and/or RPGS. If my top games (Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Sly Cooper, Ratchet and Clank, Overwatch, etc) give you a good idea of what I enjoy playing.
