call me a hater of the state of modern anime or whatever but i think hikaru ga shinda natsu does not need an anime and now that its going to get one i am betting on it sucking cos i trust no current anime director to know how to adapt it properly and adaptations nowadays are 1 on 1 to the manga instead of trying to understand the appeal and the meaning and what the page or the panel is trying to convey and translating that in a new media because paper and tv are not the same media at all and need different shots. May just be me tho.

THE VIDEO GAME #maan i loved playing this game soo fucking much im so happy i was able to actually play it on my own. absolutely beautiful experience #did actually cry during the scene in the middle of the shadow queen fight and the ending scene. chapter 8 in its entirety is amazing #i can definitely see why this is most pm fans' favorite. still have spm favoritism but this is an extremely close second #it managed to place above pmtok in skyes ranking even though it doesn't have olivia. that's how you know its a truly incredible game <3 #alsoi love goombella so so so much and ithink her and olivia shiould be friends. this is true #also im soo glad this game has a postgame. games that don't immediately boot you back to the pre-final boss room after ending my beloved

phmygod i will never be able to convey how much that mgs1 scene about love on the battlefield means to me. i know people joke about it because yeah its a little cheesy (it's metal gear. of course it is.) but oh my godddd im always thinking about it. otacon earnestly asks solid snake if he thinks love can bloom, even on a battlefield. and snake doesn't laugh him off he really truly responds that yeah, he thinks it can. he thinks people can fall in love wherever & whenever. like theres so much more to the scene that i cant even get into but idk i think in a lot of stories a scene like that would be played for a total joke like the big action hero dude would totally laugh in their face. But it makes me happy that solid snake despite everything he's been through still thinks yeah, love is real and it happens between anyone. it happens anywhere its always happened and it always will happen. idk just "do you think love can bloom on a battlefield?" / "yeah, i do..." makes me 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 this game ruined my life i love it so much dude

The other people in the cell with him flinch back, turning away towards the walls and hiding as best they can. Schmidt’s left central, vulnerable. An alpha strides down the path between the cells, hitting the bars idly and whistling to himself. He pauses and looks into the cell across from Schmidt’s before making an unimpressed noise. He turns and spots Schmidt sitting up and looking at him, and Schmidt knows things are about to get worse for him. “No one will care if you get a little roughed up,” the alpha says, taking the keys out and unlocking the cell.
