Star Platinum’s arms closed around her, tight without being crushing, and the stand rested her cheek against the top of Jotaro’s hat. Her initial instinct was to squirm away. Pressed that close, she could feel Star Platinum’s breasts against her back. Why did her stand have the proper body when Jotaro didn’t? It was bullshit. When squishing the disappointment out of her didn’t work, Star Platinum flitted over to the other side of the room, one huge hand digging through Jotaro’s luggage, unzipping its inner pockets until she found something and darted back. When she uncurled her fingers, Jotaro’s dark blue lipstick lay in her broad palm. It hadn’t burned up with her original coat, since she had started keeping it in her luggage after the close call of Polnareff trying to jam his hand into her coat pocket looking to bum a cigarette, the other week. She still hadn’t gotten the opportunity to try it on, and it was still pristine. Her hands were shaking, as she raised the tube to her mouth. After a lifetime of watching her mother do this, Jotaro knew how—hell, if she was putting it on someone else (Kakyoin, her brain insisted, Kakyoin with his wide mouth pursed for her to paint soft pink...) it would have been easy. At this rate, she’d probably smear it down her chin. Star Platinum gently took it from her, her fingers dwarfing the lipstick as she held it between her thumb and index finger. Her other hand came up, very lightly holding Jotaro’s chin still. Her first stroke was tentative and barely left any pigment, like she was afraid to break it in half, but at Jotaro’s direction, soon she had lined her lips in dark blue. It looked good. It didn’t give her a chest, or round out her hips, or fix the trainwreck between her legs, but... Despite the harsh color, her face looked a little softer, more feminine. She could be the kind of girl to leave little lipstick marks on the ends of a cigarette, or on a coffee cup, like her Nonna Lisa Lisa. Strong but elegant. If there were vampires and stands in the world, then there could be girls with boyish bodies, right?

Shinjiham is cute when it’s romantic but tbh I think i vastly prefer the idea of them being best friends instead. Like, neither of them really saw it coming and weren’t really looking to get another best friend (Shinji has Akihiko, Kotone has Junpei and Yukari respectively) but it happens anyway. Kotone takes a liking to Shinji much faster than she does anyone else and I’d say a big reason is just the fact that he’s so reserved that it allows Kotone to do most of the talking while he just listens and they love this arrangement cuz Kotone doesn’t get to talk about her own interests very much. Though I think some of her needs to talk to Shinji stems from this insecurity that he isn’t happy in the group and she has this people pleasing problem and wants everyone to be happy so she makes a much bigger effort to talk to Shinji. And it’s very unfortunate because Shinji intentionally acts cold and distant because he doesn’t want to form any attachments because he wants to die soon, but aaaaaaaagh dammit this girl just keeps talking to him and being sweet and encouraging him to engage in his interests and share them with the others and he just can’t seem to say no when she’s got those damn puppy eyes. And Kotone is just able to get him out of his shell by being persistent but not in an overwhelming way, she’s very cheerful and supportive of him. And Shinji is able to offer her support by encouraging her to talk about herself and by making sure she’s taking care of herself. They just click really well and make such a positive dent in each other’s lives and it’s all about basic acts of kindness going a long way you know?

some headcanons below!!

i CANNOT stop thinking about this i'm going insane !!!

here's a playlist i made for them! it includes group songs and solo songs :)

personally if the winx were a kpop group, i think their music would be very similar to their canon music (ie superheroes, we're magic all the way, etcetc). so very girlie pop and the occasional ballad and pop rock song.

i typically think of this au as very canon-aligned (though not canon-compliant) so most of the canon dynamics are part of it!

bloom is the leader and a main vocalist

stella is a lead dancer and lead vocalist

flora is a lead dancer and vocalist

musa is a main vocalist! she also helps make a lot of their songs via lyrics, composing, and producing. i picture musa as being the triple threat and/or ace of the group so she's good at everything, but her Official position is main vocalist

aisha is the main dancer and a vocalist

tecna is a vocalist and the main rapper (think dreamcatcher's dami!)

i don't like the "visual" position tbh but if we're trying to be authentic then it'd be stella and maybe flora too

the little bottom left chibi is holding their lightstick <3

and again, if we're being authentic, musa, stella, and flora would be the most popular members (this is based on my knowledge of other kpop groups and what fanbases and the general public tend to like the most). stella and flora would be considered the "faces of the group" ie they're the most well known amongst the gp

the most popular group ships would be solarflare and flowerwave (or did we decide to go with petalwave... i never remember for them oops)

bloom would get into scandals because she's often the center member and solo stans and trix stans would hate on her for trying to steal the spotlight ajdhf

their introduction/greeting thing would be like canon so they would say "magic winx! hello yadda yadda" and their hand sign would be the crossed peace signs :) (idc that it's later seasons propaganda it's cute !!!)

oh also the little duo pics aren't meant to be outfits for the same song/stage, i just wanted to do close ups :) i also touched them up a little so they look better in the duo ones!

okay the 2 things im struggling w so far is

1) sorting out trash. i know it's good and great that they're recycling everything but how do I do it efficiently like should i have separate bins at home or what.

2) living w someone i don't know and (so far) have 0 emotional/psychological connection w... and she's an australian party girl on top of that (no offense to australians i just didn't think u guys were real and i was hoping for an asian housemate tbh)

i dont even know how but (again from the south park episode about paris hilton kidnapping butters as her pet..) some famous influencer woman kidnapping yata

Yata’s so cute and small, no wonder he was kidnapped XD I imagine in this case it being something like he’s dragged off to be some famous influencer’s ‘assistant’ and Yata has no idea how this happened but also he can’t get away because that would require him to yell at a girl. Say there’s some lady in Shizume who’s been making waves as an up-and-coming influencer type, she makes constant liveblogs about the city and all the weird things that happen here. At one point she’s filming a ‘visit lesser known locations with me’ vlog and she decides to stop at Bar Homra. As it happens Kusanagi is out and Yata’s helping with the customers, as soon as this girl walks in Yata’s all blushing and stuttering because oh no women. The influencer initially ignores him, instead just being all OMG look at this bar it’s so quaint. Yata doesn’t know what quaint means but don’t insult Kusanagi-san’s bar. The lady looks at him and she’s like aw look at this guy with his beanie and his red hair, he’s so charming, hey come take a video with me.

Yata is of course tongue tied and this lady just bulldozes right over him all hey why don’t you show me more places like this, talking to her audience all this guy has offered to give me a tour and Yata’s just like wait I did what. The lady drags him out just as Anna’s coming downstairs. An hour or so later Kusanagi comes back and wonders where Yata went, Anna helpfully tells him that Misaki was kidnapped by a lady with a phone. If it was anyone else saying this Kusanagi wouldn’t believe them but he’s not going to argue with Anna so he’s just like ‘I….see,’ wondering if they’ll need to rescue Yata at some point. He figures Yata’s a grown adult and can handle himself though, it should be fine. 

Meanwhile Yata is absolutely not fine, he’s been roped into carrying all these bags for the influencer and lugging around camera equipment and having to be her guide when he just wants to leave. Everytime he tries to say something though she’s got her camera (and also her boobs, even scarier) in his face and he can barely get a word out. Eventually the influencer gets annoyed because ugh there’s these guys in blue uniforms blocking where I want to get my shot. Yata feels some uncharacteristic relief as he immediately looks for Saruhiko, like please get me out of this. The Blues are shooing everyone away from the scene though and Yata’s trying to get a word in edgewise, like I just need to see Saruhiko it’s an emergency.

That’s when he hears this mocking ‘what are you doing here Misaki’ and Yata has never felt more relieved to hear his first name said in that tone. Pride is all to the wind now, he’s like there’s this weird girl dragging me around can you just get me out of here. Fushimi of course finds this whole thing hilarious, like what Misaki did you get kidnapped by a girl. Yata’s all shut up I did not (but also please make her go away). Fushimi is toying with the idea of just leaving Yata to his fate or making him beg for Fushimi’s help when imagine the influencer girl shows up again all ‘come on, Misaki-kun.’ Fushimi’s eyelid immediately twitches at the sound of someone else using Yata’s first name and Yata can’t even yell at him for pulling his knives on a girl, at least now Yata is finally free.

I really do enjoy mbsr because it’s basically standard m/f but genderswapped and like. Committed. so the love interest is a woman and president ceo whatever of a company and weird as hell. the main character is just some guy with family issues because his parents rely on him too much. it really is the series of girl who goes tch and guy who goes kyaa!! and It Commits To It. at one point the main character gets bullied by teens and the love interest has to shoo them off it’s pretty funny
