So we know from the SoM that soldiers on the loosing side of wars owe tribute to Ares, and presumably other war gods. Which means they can just get summoned out of the underworld to fulfill a request, but do you ever think it effects the demigods who joined with the titans?

Like one day a child of Ares is about to get taken down by a cyclops and nobody is around to help him then suddenly a black haired kid with an eyepatch stabs it through the back, but he doesn't quite look all there, almost like he's a memory brought to life.

The kid eventually gets to camp and asks about it and Clarisse just stops and stares off into the distance. All the veteran campers start freaking out about it and boycott sacrificing to the gods because, What the Fuck, they can just bring demigods back to serve them?

But later when Clarisse is like 45 years old, and she's loosing a fight to get her daughter (named Silena) to camp safely, she accidently evokes a debt owed by the fallen. Next thing she knows there she is, the actual Silena Beauregard, standing in Clarisse's old armor that she stole all those years ago. And Clarisse makes it to camp but she holes up in her cabin with her daughter for a week until Chris finally gets her to open up.

It's even worse for Thalia who's still a hunter centuries after her friends and family died, and has to watch as the ban for calling on dead demigods is forgotten about entirely. And Thalia almost forgets about it too. Until one of her hunters, Sasha, a daughter of Bellona, wants to learn more about sword fighting.

And when Thalia goes to find her, and bring her to dinner. She sees Luke Castellan standing there with a scar across his face and a sword in his hand and she LOOSES it. Immediately starts trying to fight him and crying, the entire forest suddenly gets caught in the biggest storm of 100 years. It isn't until Artemis comes back that she's finally calmed down enough and she makes sure Hades bans the resurrections of demigods by any powers.

On a happier note there was a Ryad, a son of Hades a century or so after the last veteran of the giant war died who wanted to learn more about his powers. So he tries to summon Nico Di Angelo, the ghost king himself.

Something went wrong though and when he opened his eyes after chanting a 14 year old girl wearing a beret was staring at him with rage filled eyes. Before he could even say anything she starts screaming about "already dealing with stupid brothers once" and "this is not gonna happen again" and starts hitting him over the head. (He isn't entirely sure how that happened considering the spell was just supposed to summon the spirit to talk not give them physical forms).

It takes him a year until he tries again, and this time when he opens his eyes he catches a glimpse of golden eyes and brown curls until he gets deafened by what sounds like a sonic boom, and suddenly a horse is just there. And when the girl looks at him, with that same look as the last one. He gets up and tries to run but the ground just swallows him, and he has to listen as this girl yells at him for being stupid, except he only understands like every third word because her accent is so strong.

It isn't until Ryad is 19 he finally summons Nico. But Nico appears and immediately starts talking about he's gonna get in trouble and is not going to get yelled at by them again, and just cuts the summoning short. Which leads Ryad to have to talk to his dad (Ew), who gives him some advice and tries to introduce him to his siblings, but the moment he sees golden eyes and a green beret he runs.

the strange monster comes my way, I feel the guitar pick necklace that Chiron, my teacher, gave me start to shift and it suddenly turns into a bow and arrow, I quickly grab them and shoot the arrow in the manticore, as I do this I quickly see it turn into ashes that fly with the wind.

I fall into my knees feeling tired, I look around for my brother and my sister  and I can't see them anywhere, but I see Groover,Annabeth and Percy running to me, I start to fall to the side  and my vision start to blur,before they could reach me, I pass out and everything I see is black.

Percy's POV

Y/n passed out just as soon as I reached her and Nico di Angelo, her twin brother, arrived as  soon as I got there, I grab her before she falls completely on the ground and I carry her I'm my arms, turning around and start walking to Grover and Annabeth with her in my arms and Nico right after me.

"Have you seen bianca?" Bianca is their sister,  we haven't seen her since we got here, but we can't look for her now, we gotta go back to the camp.

"Sorry Nico,but I haven't. We can look for her after we get you and y/n back to the camp" I make and apologetic look to him, Annabeth and Grover doing the same.

Time skip

We're in front of the camp now, as we approach more, I see Luke, I walk hurriedly to him with the others following me.

" We have to her to the infirmary Luke, I think she's exactly like me when I got here for the first time" I say to Luke as he sees y/n in my arms "we can introduce the camp to them later"

"Yes, he's right! Please take care of my sister!" Nico says and Luke shifts his gaze to him. " Alright, let's take care of your sister, you can take a bath while we take care of her, Annabeth will show you the bathroom and get you new clothes"

" Come with me,Nico. They'll take good care of her! After they finish you can stay with her in the infirmary" after she das this I see Nico become more relaxed and look more calm. "Okay.. I'll see you later sis!" He says and kiss her forehead, even though she's not awake.

Y/n's POV

I hear some people whispering as I start to shift in bed, slowly opening my eyes and trying to get used to the light of the room I am in right now, I see Nico, Annabeth and Percy talking. Where's Bianca?  I slowly sit on the bed and I see that they stopped talking and are looking at me now. "Hi... For how long I have been like this?" Nico jumps on me and says " Oh I'm so glad you finally woke up, you slept for almost four days, it was starting to scary me"

"Where's Bianca? Why she's not here?" I asked looking around the room, I see their expressions change and I start to become worried " guys, what happened to bianca? Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Bianca's missing, I'm sorry! " Percy says, he's the guy that got us here, I think. "But don't worry, we'll bring her back safely" Annabeth complete his frase.

"Oh... Uhm, thanks? Please bring her back to us, it was always us three and we can't be without our sister!" And they respond together "don't worry,we will"

Two weeks has passed since I recovered and they went to look for Bianca, I've made some friends in camp half-blood and people here are cool with us, I thought that maybe in the start things would be strange,but it actually weren't, me and my brother are in the Hermes cabin, I didn't understand things completely in the start, but Luke was totally helpful and explained everything to us. Me and my twin always loved Greek mythology (and we share the same passion with pirates too,but nobody needs to know that) and it's crazy we're kind of part of it too now.

I get ou of cabin with Nico and I see Grover, Percy and Annabeth in the entrance of the camp " look,they're here" I say and start running to them with Nico, finally Bianca's here with us! As soon as I get to them I see that their faces are not too good,oh no... "Hey guys, and Bianca?" I look at them with hopeful eyes

They look at each other and right after they look at us "look,guys..." Percy starts " we're really sorry,but... Bianca died while we were fighting with a monster"what? It's like the ground was falling apart for me, I drop myself to my knees and start crying " what? BUT YOU PROMISE TO ME, TO US." I shout, I start feeling the ground tremble and they "flew" a little to the back, what the heck is happening? Are we doing this?  " YOU'RE LIERS!" Nico shouts too. I see some holes opening in the ground and lava starts bubbling inside them.

" Guys, we're really sorry, we swe-" they we're interrupted by the ground underneath them starting to crack, suddenly it opens  big hole and they fall inside of it, after this happens the hole closes and we are left desperate,sad and wondering how this happened. Soon Chiron comes and talks to us " Hey hey, it's alright, they'll be okay and you'll be okay too, I'm sorry that you have to go through this, but I assure you, everything will be okay" we actually got better after he said those words from us, but suddenly he looks to the tops of our heads making us look too, and there was a skull symbol above my head, I look at  Nico's head and it had the same symbol, as Chiron saw it he looked down at us "well, guess we know who's your father now,it explains why this happened. You guys will be better trained,don't worry!  I'll tell Luke to show you the hades cabin, now go pack you things" he says patting our heads and smiling at us.

We're already at our cabin, it's kind of comforting here.  I don't think we should've done that to them, they didn't deserve it, it wasn't their fault, I wish they forgive us when they come back(if they come back).

I hear a commotion in the entrance of the camp so me and Nico get closer and we see Percy injured with Annabeth and Grover carrying him, oh my god, he's like this because we sent them to god knows where? Good thing he is awake, I approache closer and say " I'm so sorry guys, it was just so much, I didn't mean to do that and now Percy's like this, I hope you guys can forgive us in the future,I'm so sorry, I swear" I say this fast and my eyes were in the verge of tears, Nico apologizes too and Percy says "it's alright guys,I'll get better soon and it's a normal thing you didn't know you could do that, it's okay! After I get treated we can talk better" as he finishes saying someone grab him and took him to the infirmary of the camp,Annabeth and Grover stay to talk to us and they forgave us too, explaining that this is a normal thing between half-bloods.

Narrator's POV

Four years have passed by and they got incredibly close, y/n and Percy were invencible together and they start going on a lot of missions together, with time passing they became best friends, and would spend  a lot of time together, their relationship was only becoming stronger with each day passing.

Y/n's POV

I'm currently training with my bow an arrow in the forest, this is my favorite place to train, I spend hours here anytime I can. The only person besides me that knows about this place is Percy. We're very close now, I like his friendship. It's like only we can understand each other. I stop traveling in my thoughts as soon as I heard steps close to me.

I turn around with my arrow read to aim as the sound becomes more audible, as the person appears I prepare to aim and I hear " IT'S ME, DON'T SHOOT" I hear and it's Percy's voice, it was him all this time, I almost shoot him "Come on drama queen, I wasn't going to shoot you" yes, I was " yes, you were! You think I don't know you enough to know what you think, LavaGirl?" "Oh come on SharkBoy, I should know you know me enough to see easily what I'm thinking about " we laugh " why you're here SharkBoy?"  Percy grins " well darling, I wanted to ask you to meet me by the forest after curfew" " and what will we be doing?" " It's a surprise LavaGirl, I won't tell you now!" " Oh come onn,please?" I pout at him " no, I won't tell you! You'll have to wait and see" "alright alright" I let out a small groan  and we head to camp.

After dinner me and my brother came to our cabin, we talked a little and hugged before going to bed., we've been doing this since Bianca died. I wait him to fall sleep and when he finally does, I get out of bed slowly and make my way to the door trying to he as quiet as possible, I get out successfully and I make my way to the forest, being careful so no one catch me.

I see Percy and quickly approach him and jump on him "SharkBoyyy, I missed you" he hugs me tighter " I missed you too princess" we're best friends,but Percy always make sure to call me cute nicknames, he even started calling me LavaGirl, after I started calling him SharkBoy, it's one of our favorite movies, since he stays alone in his cabin, we often make movie nights there. We always have the best time together, at least to me, it's the best part of my day.

Percy's POV

I smell her perfume as I hug her, she always smells so good, I don't even know how she smells good like this.  I prepared a surprise for her,I think she'll like it but I can't help getting nervous, but I can't show it because she'll know as soon as I show some emotion.

"Close your eyes" and when she closes her eyes put my hands on top of them so she can't peek "don't worry,I'll guide you" I say as I guide her to the little "beach" of the camp " And,wait a little bit.." I said dragging the 'and' " open your eyes" I say as I finish setting things up and lighting the last candle "so... Do you like it?"

She looks everywhere with her eyes shining, she smiles at me and I swear I've never seen her smile like this. She jumps in me and says "Perce, this is amazing! Oh my god, I have no words to explain how much I love this" I hug her even more tighter "I'm so glad you like it LavaGirl! Now come on, let's watch a movie and eat the things I brought"

Y/n's POV

I'm with Chiron waiting for my partner so that Chiron explain what we mission we're going to. The person's late. I hear someone running and the person opens the door panting from the run. I see Percy, of course he was late. But I'm glad the mission is with him.

"Hi, Percy! I'm glad you are finally here, sit next to Y/n so I can explain what type of mission you will do" Percy sits and Chiron starts explaining, it's a high risk mission even if we just hace to rescue artifact that's  really old and stuff. We get out of the room and start going to our own cabins to pack the things we're going to need.

After we finished packing our things, we met each other in front of the camp, we came to the city and now we're in the train station waiting for the train " I think we'll do just fine in this mission, you don't have to worry. You know I'll always take are of you,right?" Percy says to me, I don't even have to say anything for him to notice how I'm feeling "yes, and I'll always take care of you too" we smile and the train comes.

Percy's POV

We arrived on the place the mission is going on a while ago and Chiron was right, this mission is hard, like REALLY hard. Me and her have been fighting with endless monsters since we got here and these monsters are the worsts, there's a lot of them. I'm currently fighting with one monster and y/n's fighting with another one. Her monster is the bigger one, I see she's struggling and I do my best to kill the monster so  can go help her.

As I finish fighting the monster, I look at her and my world falls as I see the monster cutting her abdomen with his claws. I grab Riptide and run in full charge towards the monster, he was the one with the artifact, and jump sticking Riptide right on his back. I see him disappearing and the artifact falling on the ground, I put on my backpack and turn to her  quickly seeing that she passed out, it freaks me out so I run to her, grab her from the ground and run with her to the forest. This forest took us to the camp.

I see the entrance and start running even faster to the camp,when I get there I see too many people and one of them was Nico, I look at him in the verge of tears and he mouths to me " it's okay, she'll be alright"  I nod to him and I take her to the infirmary. Any God, don't let her die,please. I need to tell her.

Y/n's POV

Fuck,my stomach hurts as hell. What happened? Where's Percy? Is he okay? Where am I? I shift and feel a pain in my whole body. Ugh, I'm destroyed! I open my eyes and blink a few times, I'm in the infirmary? The last thing I remember doing is fighting that monster...

I sit in my bed and see Percy right beside me, sleeping in a chair, I try to stay quiet as I admire his features. He's almost drooling, wish I had a camera here so I could threaten him later.

He starts moving a little in the chair, he opens his eyes and blink a few times to adjust to the lights, I think. He looks at me and then looks around the room, then he jumps in the chair and looks at me with surprised eyes "YOU'RE AWAKE?!?!" He hugs me making me laugh and as he tightens the hug making me hiss a little from the pain " sorry, it's just.. YOU'RE AWAKEEEE!" He screams excitedly again making me laugh once again and say " Yes,I'm awake! What happened SharkBoy? Why I'm here?"

"The monster cut your abdomen, he caught you unprepared for his moves and got his claws on you. I'm sorry, I should have protected you, I broke my promise. " His voices breaks and he's on the verge of tears,my heart breaks seeing him like this "it's not you fault Perce! I should have seen him coming and you were too busy fighting with another monsters, I'm so sorry for making you fell like it was your fault" he hugs me again e give me a kiss on the forehead " you shouldn't be sorry for anything, love "

It was hard for me to get used to nicknames, at first I would get red and stutter a bit, with time I just got used to it. I stopped thinking about this as soon as I hear him saying " hey? Are you listening? " I look at him and I see that I got distracted thinking about this " yes,I'm sorry" I laugh it off "I just got distracted thinking about some things " it's alright! Tonight you need to come to my cabin so we can do a movie night, you were asleep for almost a week! I was getting more and more worried"

Me and Perce talked more about watching the movies and he said that I had to go with a formal dress, I don't understand why but I didn't mind it. He said I had to be ready by 7 p.m I put on a dark blue dress and do a quick makeup,but nothing too elaborated. The time passes fast and as I finish putting on my perfume, someone knocks on my door.

I walk fast and open the door seeing Percy in a suit holding a bouquet of roses,my favorites.I never thought he would be so handsome with a suit.

"Hi... You look amazing, darling" I hear he say and I immediately smile "thanks, you're not too bad yourself" he smiles too and give me the flowers " this is for you" "thanks, these are my favorites!" He offers me his arms and says " let's go?" I nod and we head to his cabin.

He opens the door for me and says " Ladies first" I thank him and enter, he made a whole dinner table and set candles and rose petals all over the place, this looks amazing.

"Perce, this is perfect! Nobody's ever done this for me" of course I went on dates with guys, but none of them ever did anything like this "and that shocks me everytime I remember about it. You're perfect princess and you deserve all the best things in the word" I feel tears rose up in my eyes and I hug him giving a peck on his cheeks "you're amazing, did you know that?"

We go to the table and he pushes the chair for me, gesturing for me to sit and when I sit he goes to his chair and sit too.

"They're coming to serve the food now" "They? Who?" I hear steps so I look behind me, seeing my brother and his boyfriend Will coming with the food and my favorite soda "I can't believe you did this " I laugh " you two look so cute as waiters" I couldn't lost the opportunity of joking with them " oh, shut up! you're literally on a date and you're teasing us?" My brother said and I blushed but teased him again " look at him being so defensive about his boyfriend" me and Percy laugh and thy and up laughing too, whenever we're together it's like this, amazing " alright, we should let them go now, so they can be with each other in your cabin" "okay okay, bye guys"

They go away after putting the food on the table. We eat and talk about how things were when I was in the infirmary and when we finish eating he says "so... I wanted to have dinner with you so that I could say this..." He walked around the table and stopped in front of me gesturing for my hand and when I gave him he pushed me up delicately and continued saying " You're amazing, incredibly perfect and all of you is beautiful, not only the outside, but the inside too! You proved to be so amorous and careful with others. Since I saw you for the first time I felt a connection with you and now I can't imagine my life without you. The truth is... I'm in love with you and all I can think about is you, my world almost ended in the time you were in the hospital because I thought you would die without knowing that I love you" he lefts me speechless, I don't know how to respond.

" Look, it's okay if you don't feel the sa-" I shut him up by kissing him, at first he's too surprised to do anything, but then he started kissing me back, he grabbed my hip,making me gasp. " So... do you love me too?" He whispers making both of us laugh "of course I do,you idiot " he kisses me again.

I shift my hands from his shoulders to his chin and hair, gripping it tightly. He grabs my tights and whispers "jump" between our kisses, I do as he says and he puts one hand on my butt and the other one on my hips. The kiss gets more heated as he kisses down to my neck making me become a little breathless. I feel he smile in my neck and leave a bite there and marking my neck, he lifts his head so that his mouth is on my ear "now everyone's going to know that you're mine" and chuckles " you're an idiot, did you know that?" "Yes,but I am your idiot!"

"Now come on princess, let's watch our favorite movies!"

ok so bianca lives au!

the stress of being inside talos causes bianca to accidentally shadow travel (which explains the lack of a body)

talos is defeated, just to clarify

the quest continues on, zoe dies, and percy gets back to camp and tells nico bianca is dead

nico in this version denies it because he can feel that she isn't, but the rest of that interaction follows canon

so meanwhile bianca is in the underworld and when she figures out how to control her shadow travel she gets back to camp the day after nico leaves

unfortunately she can't do much to help find him, but she does search while also rejoining the hunters

eventually she realizes he's in the underworld, but minos leads him away before she can get there

after that it's a game of cat and mouse

nico has been convinced that he's wrong and she's dead because that serves minos' goals better

so she tries to find them, minos keeps moving away, this goes throughout the labyrinth

at the same time annabeth, percy, grover, and tyson are on their quest and have been told to keep an eye out

they see nico at the ranch and try to tell him, but he refuses to listen

after percy kills geryon, annabeth manages to send an iris message

bianca shows up, there's the reunion/explanation, nico hates percy less, and since now he has a whole reason to not trust minos, he sends minos away.

nico doesn't want to go back to camp atm, so he stays at the ranch and bianca sticks around too

then the quest continues, calypso's island happens, annabeth and percy go back in with rachel's help, etc.

bianca shows up and helps them in daedalus' workshop (nico didn't have enough control to properly return minos to the underworld so he ended up sticking with some chthonic kids from the ta)

they escape, go to camp, where nico and that immortal ares kid who's name i don't remember join them, as do the hunters

so castor doesn't die

lee still does because reasons

tlo goes more or less the same except more powerful demigods = less deaths

also hades favors bianca so she stays in the underworld freeing up nico to assist the others

plus bianca and hades, demeter, and persephone show up earlier

alabaster will probably work his way into this b/c i love him

My Bianca Di Angelo headcanons before I forget, and because rick riordan didn't give us much to lean on

- She didn't get to have much interests or allow herself to develope an independant personality other than being an adult figure in Nico's life because she had to take care of him.

- She's a pretty quiet person. She only talks in one on one convos because she's kinda introveeted, and she finds conversations tough. She has no clue how to join in.

- This makes her an observer. A listener.

- Her favorite color is dark brown. it's just something about it.

- I saw this on a tiktok that her fav movie is Dorothy and the wizards of oz, and I agree. And since she loves it. Someone introduced her to the chronicals of narnia. And that's like her fav movie series (she also listens to the audiobook because dyslexia so she can't read it.)

- She hates coffee. But she loves cappuccinos/iced cappuccinos and Frappuccinos because they are like coffee flavored slushies (atleast the one I've had is)

- Her favorite animals are rinos and african elephants.

- Her style/aesthetic is dark academia

- Her nickname is Bee. Mostly because that's what Nico would call her when he was like 5 and it kinda stuck, i guess.

- To get kinda child of hadesish in what she's interested. She loves archeology and history which correlate in a way. Because archeology helps you learn about the past.

- She has a somewhat interest in dinosaurs, especially there bones and how they work. So she loves going to museums.

- She's aroace. Absolutely. Idk, it just makes so much sense to me.

- Her hobbies include watching video essays, photography, birdwatching, and doing the thing where you take flowers and squoosh them in a book for some reason. Her favorites are spider lilies.

- She's like that one friend who has zero allergies whatsoever (like me!!!).

The Di Angelo's where in the lotus casino, which is filled with video games, until about 2005-2006 or so. Sonic Adventure 2 came out in 2001 and the Shadow the Hedgehog game came out in 2005.

Nico's entire revenge/grudge arc in BOTL is EXACTLY some Shadow the Hedgehog shit.

she was an artist. She worked mostly with charcoal, pencils, ink, and watercolors. She would often draw/paint the things she could see through the mist.

she definingly had connections to the Italian mafia. you can pry this headcanon out of my cold dead hands!

another headcanon you can (try) to pry from my cold dead hands is that she (and her kids obvi) are legacies of Somnus, the roman version of Hypnos. her powers where limited to manipulating dreams.

she loved to cook for herself, she also taught her kids how to cook (which they still remember due to muscle memory).

she also LOVED ballroom dancing, and again she absolutely taught nico and bianca and yes they still do because of muscle memory.

✿ Didn't know what transitioning meant until Will explained it to him

✿ Will helps him remember to take his damned hormones because he forgets all the time

✿ When dysphoria is bad he'll hide under the blankets and won't come out until someone (usually Will, Reyna or Hazel) sits on the bed with him and argues with him about how yes, he is a handsome man

✿ Also forgets to take his damned birth control CONSTANTLY so periods are a biTCh

✿ Will had no idea he was even on it until it came up in a conversation and Nico was immediately lectured and now he takes them regularly with Will's constant reminders

Completed tsats, in the middle of exam week, guess I have my priorities straight. Okay, let's get into the pro and con opinions of mine in this book.

Pros

1.Nico got over his trauma. Not completely of course, but he is on the right path. And the cocoa puffs are really cute ( send me fanart).

2.I am glad nico is more emotive in this. We saw him smile more, make jokes and generally be more optimistic then the other books. I felt like titan's curse nico is coming back and i love it. I love that nerdy side to him.

3.We see him cry it out. After so long of seeing him being described as emotionless, cold and scary, it was nice to see him letting out his emotions.

4. I love that he is so affectionate with will. We already know that nico is physically affectionate with the people he cares about, like hugging Jason, reyna, and kissing hazel on the cheek. It makes sense that he will be affectionate with his bf.

5. I love that the entire story revolves around how kind nico is. Like we knew that nico was the only one who saw and talked to hestia. His selflessness is the most important trait of his but also the most overlooked. But it's also the trait that got him in the most trouble. I am glad that he told nyx to f**k off, it means he is learning to prioritise himself and i am so glad for that. Also it felt so good to see people and deities acknowledge that, too the point that a primordial goddess was threatened by it. Listen up kids, KINDNESS IS YOUR BIGGEST STRENGTH NOT A WEAKNESS.

6. I liked will's characterisation. He's exactly what I taught he will be, kind, daring, supportive and brave. And he learns, accepts his mistakes and meets nico in the middle, what more can i ask. ( I feel like a parent giving their blessings to their child's so)

7. Nyx felt threatening, way better then gaia. And I really liked the way the final battle was more psychological then physical. And the new development in wills powers, that's a head cannon that felt validated. He can use plague powers, powerfull sunshine boy, nico, powerful sunshine boy.

8.Bob and small bob, they are the best. And them being happy and enjoying their freedom, ah, I was crying. I love them.

9.The deities crying over solangelo. I get it, they are so cute. Kind of shows a human side to them. And that talk about lost souls with gorgyra, yeah, another scene that brought me too tears. The fact that they still have hope. Warmed my heart.

10.Loved the talk about change , and being true to yourself and having the option to choose. It read nicely and it's a great message for the kids out there, not just LGBTQ kids, to everyone. And even bitter adults can learn this lesson. So be open minded people.

As a literature student, I am done with all the nihilist, Existentionalist, tragic stories that I had to read. This was the cheesy, funny, pure, and sweet book that I wanted to get rid of all this stress. And that's what I want from a percy Jackson series book.

Cons

1.It was rushed. But I think I understand. I mean they had to put nico's solo tartarus plot, the actual plot of the story and also address their trauma, add fanservice, create a believable story for why nico had to go to tartarus again ( sideyes hades) , yeah way too much for a spinnoff.

2.I would have love to know more about will. Don't get me wrong, as I gushed about it, I really like their interactions. But it felt like he was made for those interactions, like will solace is still not an individual character but nico di angelo's boyfriend. To me it felt like Rick was telling," look at this sunshine boy, I would tell you why he is perfect for nico", hence the earlier blessing comment. ( you have my blessing will, you have my blessing). But I don't care about it much, for me I was looking forward to Nico's story and I got it so I am happy.

3.There were inconsistencies, like bianca and his mother. It felt like a retconn, but it's also a story about gods, so it makes sense that hades will do it.

4.The tartarus parts didn't hit as much as I thought it would, nicos past solo trip, that is. Maybe it's because the story was written by two authors. I cried but it didn't tear my heart out. Maybe because I know nico gets out. Hmmm, something to think about.

5.Please dont take this the wrong way, but I didn't like how they constantly kept saying boyfriend. Like I get it, I know you are a couple, I want you to be couple, but it felt like the authors didn't think they would come across as a couple and kept on reminding us. This is one nitpick I have in this book.

Oh another nitpick. I wanted to see the other characters, like hazel and reyna and how did I forgot apollo. I need more apollo. I really wanted to see nico's reaction to reyna joining the hunters. Not much just a tiny reference, like when they were talking to gorgyra, like she also abandoned me, something like that.

And that's it. I can't think about any more cons.

TLDR: This book left me feeling like a proud mama who's watching her son grow up to be a hero. And that's exactly what I wanted. So, this book is a 10/10 for me. Cherished forever.

THREE | WILL

- Like a star in the daylight,

unseen but burning bright -

Will watched as the dark haired boy slept. After stitching him up properly and getting some fruit in his system, Will had insisted on getting him back to sleep. Nico hadn't been very happy about it but now he seemed peaceful with his eyes closed, the dark locks in his face. A small frown was still left but he seemed to be a lot more at peace than Will had ever seen.

Will on the other hand was sitting in his office chair behind a desk. The yellow covered journal laid open in front of him, the pen in his hand. Will had always enjoyed drawing and writing. The journal had been a gift from his mom last Christmas. Late nights and early mornings in the infirmary were always quiet and outside the big windows the nature was beautiful. The moonlight shone through the glass and the sky was scattered in stars. Despite being a son of Apollo, Will enjoyed the late nights. The stars shining glow and the bright, silver moon lit up the world around him. Early mornings was something he was used to, the Apollo campers were always up at the crack of dawn. There wasn't a single time Will had missed the sunrise since he moved to Camp Half-Blood. He'd always see the first orange sunbeams hit the camp's hills and valleys. And it was always as breathtaking as the day before. 

A scream made Will whip around in his chair and his eyes swept over the room. The son of Hades was sitting up in his bed, eyes closed and hair in his face. His head hung low and he pulled a hand through his hair, Will had figured that over the years that that was a habit he had when he was stressed. Nico looked up and met Will's eyes in the dark. A look of pain flashed over his face before he looked down again. Will's eyes softened and he carefully placed the pencil on the table behind him and stood up from the chair. He went for a cup of water before going to Nico. His torn up shirt was on again after Will had cleaned his wounds. He gave Nico the cup of water without a word and Nico took it and drank it all. Carefully he took the cup out of Nico's hand and placed it on the small table beside the bed. 

"Go back to sleep, Nico," he mumbled softly. The small boy carefully laid back down and let Will pull the covers over him again. Nico curled up in a ball and fell on the side and closed his eyes. He flinched a little when Will pulled away his hair from his face but Will just smiled a little and went back to his chair. 

Legs pulled up from the floor and a blanket covered his legs. He continued drawing in his journal and softly hummed a melody of an old ancient Greek song. The pencil flew over the paper creating something as beautiful as the night sky. He smiled softly. He threw a glance over his shoulder at Nico. He was shaking slightly and Will decided to get up and put an extra blanket over his thin frame. His breathing wasn't as rhythmic as it should be but Will figured he was too drained to be even breathing by normal standards. He sat down on the bed beside Nico's, watching carefully over the boy in front of him. He wasn't necessarily as scary as everyone though he was. He was just as any other camper inside the camp's barriers. Just a bit more broken than everyone else. The dark hair was dirty and a mess on the white pillow, his thin shirt would get him cold in an instant. A scratch from the battle was visible in his forehead and Will suspected that wasn't the only injury from the battle, and definitely not the worst. He shook his head at the careless boy in front of him. 

He pulled himself up from the bed, getting a bit startled when the wheels hadn't been locked and it rolled away a few decimeters. Will took a neatly folded hoodie and a pair of sweatpants from his desk and ripped a page from his journal. He wrote a short message on it before placing it all on Nico's bedside table. Then he laid back down on the bunk he'd been on earlier, locking the wheels first. The sun was on its way up and the clock showed 5 am. Sleep took over him not many minutes later and soon he was out like a light.
