My personal idea for how Jaghatai Khan would look like if he returned in the 41st millenium.

My headcanon lore is that he spent several millennia waging a guerrilla war on the Drukhari in the webway.

However in the latter years of his time in the Eldar's realm he was captured by the Kabal of the Black Heart under Asdrubael Vect himself. Here he spends several decades enduring the Dark Eldar's tortures and is forced to fight in the arenas of Commorragh. Here he encounters a xeno beast so wild and ferocious that no Drukhari beastmaster was able to tame. Finding no better use for it the Dark Eldar pitch the beast against the captive Primarch in a one on one match. At first their battle is fierce, with both the beast being heavily woudned and Jaghatai having one of his eyes scarred permanently. With both equally matched and unable to kill one another, both Jaghatai and the beast soon found in each other a kindred spirit, and formed an uncanny bond in order to rid themselves of their mutual captors and escape together. Now I haven't thought out the specifics of their escape, maybe the Harlequins or the Ynnari intervene to spirit them away. But somewhere during the escape Jaghatai breaks into Vect's personal trophy chamber to recover his confiscated sword, which he finds broken without its hilt. However miraculously within the chamber Jaghatai inexplicably finds what he confidently believes to be the Emperor's very own Cape. With both relics in hand, Jaghatai leaves the webway, whilst being persecuted by the Drukhari and an extremely pissed off Vect, to eventually reunite with his sons the White Scars, ready to lead them in an reinvigorated hunt across the stars in the Galaxy of the 41st Millenium.
