Found this interesting concept album by Lisette Van Den Berg's band Scarlet Stories yesterday. I literally have no recollection of listening to them beforehand, although I don't believe that I haven't tried to get into her work after enjoying her performance in the tryout session from Ayreon's Universe DVD - I've probably just forgotten about it. If I manage to find those extras somewhere I'll post them, too, for... educational purposes? Anyways, an ultra specific song recommendation for fans of progressive rock and Ayreon. ;)

Warrior Dark Sea

A terrifying force of nature that has never backed down from a fight. Despite his cruel and stoic demeanor, he loves and would protect his mate Silent Creek with his life, and is very excited for their first kits. He enjoys the little things more than most, and would put his mate and kits before his clan in a heartbeat. He hasn’t fully bought into Twisted Sun’s rhetoric, and is more following her so his family is left alone.

Warrior Silent Creek

Silent Creek is a sweet and very trusting individual, she loves her mate and her clan, and has fully bought into Twisted Sun’s rhetoric. She is a surprisingly good fighter, but mostly loves to explore and knows the territory better than anyone else. If she says something’s wrong or she has a bad feeling, the clan knows to take it seriously. Kind and willing, she does miss her family in Chrysanthemumclan but keeps it to herself, as even she knows sharing would be a bad idea.

I'm avoiding writing and you probably are too, so let's at least think about our characters while we do it.

What attribute of them (some facet of their personality, their history, their look, or whatever etc) would you find most important to somehow preserve if they were transplanted to an AU fanfic?

Scarlet must've thought she was so clever when she named Pyrite. Like her swirling around some wine in a golden chalice, giggling over the name she picked for the Fake Dragon had the nickname "fool's gold" because of how, despite looking like real gold, is actually something else and worthless to most. She must've thought she was a genius
