Oh yeah, my sister loves "Scareyquinn" or Scarecrow/Harley, but mostly she sees it as a potentially interesting story where Harley leaves the Joker but just latches onto another strong personality in Jonathan Crane. They're both fallen psychologists, so they've got that in common, and Crane is often portrayed as being fond of her, but my sister is very committed to the fact that neither of them are actually able to help the other, and the story has to end with her going back to the Joker. (But she could have a cool Dorothy theme while she works with Crane lol)

Dorothy themed Harley would be funny. Sadly, that would never happen in modern comics because we have to pretend that Harley wouldn't let herself be dominated by a man even though that's literally her entire origin story and the basis of her identity.

Anyway, the idea of Harley trying to work with different villains is always pretty fun.  She’s such a social person, and even hard-noses like Scarecrow seem to have a soft spot for her.  

For the record, Dr. Crane was unimpressed by this costume’s lack of creepiness, as well as the latent implication that he has no brain.

What if Harley Quinn was Jonathan Crane’s first kiss?

We know she’s quite close to Crane, what if one day she pried a bit too far into his personal life and learned about Sherry Squires? Reluctantly, Jonathan would tell Harley about his first ever date--if you could even call it that--at the Halloween party. He told her about his crush on Sherry and how wonderful it was that she accepted his invitation over her then ex, Bo Griggs.

Jonathan described the scene in perfect detail, as thought it only happened yesterday, he even recalled the sweet smell of her perfume. Sherry had coaxed him downstairs for a special treat, but unbeknownst to Jonathan at that time, a sinister monster was lurking in the shadows. He was just about to kiss her when the beast jumped out, it was Bo Griggs dressed as the headless horsemen. Of course, Jonathan didn’t realize that until it was too late, Griggs chased him outside then lobbed his jack-o-lantern head right at Crane’s face. Everyone laughed at Jonathan’s misfortune; Sherry’s cackles where the loudest of all. He would never forget how embarrassing and degrading that experience was. Jonathan tells this all to Harley in confidence, trusting that she won’t tease him like all the other bullies in his life.

Harley was very sympathetic, upon learning that Jonathan had actually never been kissed before, she decided to rectify that issue by learning forward and gently pecking the unsuspecting Jonathan Crane right on the lips!

“Here professor, have a kiss from me!”

Jonathan immediately turns red and unsure what to do or how to feel, he sits there almost starstruck. He considered Harley to be a very close acquaintance of his, and the kiss only solidified their friendship. She cared, unlike Sherry, and she wanted to see him happy. That meant the world to Crane.

another oldie that I’m still proud of, this was my one and only attempt at a multiple page comic. I think this was circa 2011? maybe someday I’ll do one again (though this one took two years to finish hahaha yikes)
