I am not entirely happy with the title, but i had trouble figuring out a translation that didn't consist in changing it entirely. There's a pun (i think) in a word being used that means both "peace" and "composure", and calm has both meanings, so I used that. I could probably have labored to find a better verb than the literal "lacks" (i tried "needs" too and didnt like it either) but i wanted to post this and the rest i think is good so.

i opened up mangadex caus i wanted to read ranma1/2 caus i used to watch it. and found these weird as fuck translations, they are rly fucking funny only the first chapter was translated the second chapter that was translated is 173

the translator had this as the last image in the chapter

Project Announcement - Tonari no Jii-san

I recently stumbled upon a manga by Koike Nokuto and decided to translate it. Aside from being really drawn to the cover, I also realized that Koike Nokuto is a highly underrated horror manga writer, so I decided to pick it up. I remember reading 6000: Rokusen a long time ago and enjoyed it a lot - that’s also the only manga I had read by him so far and I’m still catching up with his other scanlated works.

Anyway, this manga, Tonari No Jii-san (My Old Man Neighbor), just came out this year, and currently, only one volume is available. I decided I want to challenge myself and translate an ongoing series that isn’t an anthology. So far, I’m really intrigued by where this story is going, so I'll be working on this alongside my anthologies.
