So apparently the Wanted posters for Faceless say to “Immediately Contact Nearest Sheriff’s Office,” (and we all know how he feels about Bandits,) so I can just imagine like

Doc: “There’s that Faceless rapscallion! Quickly! Go get the Sheriff!”

Bandit: *sweats in cowboy* oh er....maybe...maybe we could just erhm......wait for him to go away

Doc: ...

Idk if you noticed but the Faceless Bandit dude literally pops out of and disapears a cloud of smoke and literally gives zero fucks about the rules.

Puppeteer: you need to obey the rules of the show and pretend to be a regular puppet

Faceless Bandit is blind and on the run from Miss Undertaker

(Author’s note: For simplicity’s sake I’ll be referring to Faceless Bandit as just ‘Faceless’ and player character Showdown Bandit as just ‘Bandit’) At the beginning of the game we can hear Miss Undertaker is clearly searching for someone.

Some have theorized it might be Penny because she apparently has no strings and her little self mutilation was a clear violation of the rules. But I don’t really think that’s the case.

Penny actually has strings, they’re just super hard to see and although her gouging out her eyes was probably not supposed to happen, there’s no indication that it was either against the rules or that she’s on the chopping block for it. Miss Undertaker doesn’t seem particularly interested in her either. The only time she even mentions her is in this note of complaint.

Now Faceless on the other hand... He’s clearly stringless and does not give a damn about the rules. He kills whatever gets in his way, including Bandit, the star of the show and he randomly appears wherever he likes. The way Miss Undertaker adamantly reminds you about how “the show must go on”, I’d think this sort of behavior would really be a thorn in her side.

Add to that the fact that his wanted poster is plastered onto the wall just about everywhere in Showdown Valley and we have a pretty good idea who it might have been she was really searching for in the opening cutscene.....

Now onto the “blind” part. That one’s explained easily enough: The guy has half his face missing, including his eyes.

And as Penny was kind enough to inform us, the puppets do need these to see.

If you pay attention to his walk cycle, he seems to use the scythe he’s holding as a crutch - or a white cane.

Now imagine being blind in a place like Showdown Valley, with a bunch of blood-hungry, aggressive stringless running around and the resident executioner hot on your heels. Heck, the way he looks, she probably got to him once already, we know Miss Undertaker isn’t exactly...gentle with the stringless. You’d probably lash out at everything that comes near you. Which Faceless does. He never seems to target Bandit specifically, he just strikes at the puppets that get in his way. Because for him it really is a “big scary world”.

Bandit was placing all the missing posters that his brother name bendy was been missing for years and he was so worried about his brother that he was never found, meanwhile he placed all the missing posters all around the town he found someone who was standing here, he step front slowly and he met someone who notice him was faceless, he ask him that his brother was been missing for years so he agreed to help him and find his brother, lucky for bandit he had a feeling about faceless

Showdown Bandit (new Bandit) is used in all future episodes and everyone in Showdown Valley has to pretend they didn't witness the fiasco with the first one

But what if the first Bandit was fed up with being constantly blamed for being chaotic good and got sad vibes and one particularly lonely summer night snagged the Banker from where he slept and whisked him away into the night, where he sat him down by the campfire and made soup and got him to chill enough so they could converse for a while and forget about their troubles, then before dawn the Bandit brings him back to the bank, lets him off his horse, and gives him a passionate kiss farewell before disappearing into the sunrise, and that was the last act of kindness the Bandit ever did before he turned Evil for Real, and it's a deep dark secret Banker never told anyone
