Ever seen a pink Ultraman before ?

Yeah, due to a sheer lack of dull purple colored pencils Blazar ended up much more pink than I intended, so I decided to just lean into because why not, pink is a cool color after all, plus it makes him feel just a bit more mystical and I honestly I think that suits the funny caveman well.

I like to think that these bright colors can either act as a warning to other creatures to steer clear and that he wouldn’t really be worth hunting, or maybe as camouflage in the already alien environment he lives in, there’s a chance that the planet and habitat he inhabits has a lot of weird and colorful flora that he blends right in with, the reasons can be endless.

As for that shell, it’s hard as hell serving as extra protection, I’m still mapping out what places his armor can go so if i varies between arts, you know why. Blazar’s armor, while tough still allows for movement and flexibility as I imagine his joints and ligaments are like that of a cat meaning he’s got the flexibility that comes with it, he’s basically just a weird looking cat right down to his cadence when he’s walking on all fours, he walks like a Jaguar and generally similar proportions alibeit morphed into a body that also allows for bipedal movement which can come in handy for either making himself look bigger and more intimidating or when he’s carrying something that requires two hands, this also gives his tail a purpose in aiding his balance, plus more expressive emotion he does wag his tail when he’s happy for example which admittedly is more dog like but Blazar is kinda like the Maned Wolf of Ultras in the sense he’s weird as all hell and is seemingly a mishmash of multiple critters crammed into one creature,the guy can bark, chirp, growl, and also chuff as a greeting or happy noise in my headcanon, magnificent creature truly.

But yeah that’s all I’ve got for now if you have any questions feel free to ask as I’m happy to answer them (just keep it sfw I don’t want any funny business ‘round here) and with that I’ll be back, hopefully with more artworks.

As @staff further refine the polls while they're rolling them out (still haven't gotten mine sadly), here's a suggestion of mine: Polls with a ten year time limit.

As of right now, it's impossible for polls to turn into long-running legendary posts. You can try, sure (see the bug race), but it's a week and then it's locked, fixed, done, and all that's left is for people to reminisce about that time there was a poll.

On the other hand, if a ten year poll gets popular, it can become part of Tumblr lore while still being updated. People can write passionate appeals for their vote and fight in the notes. Others can make graphs to show how the poll's majorities shift with each different US president or Taylor Swift album. People can make memes about "remember 2025, when option 3 was in the lead? That was a crazy time".

Why ten years, though, instead of a hundred or just no time limit? Because that way, the end becomes an event. People who voted in the poll when it was just a few hours old can watch the final countdown together, and there's a new point in Tumblr history: That day when we finally all agreed on the best option, and presumably also some important political stuff happened.

Now, granted, most ten year polls would never reach this level of notoriety. But it only takes a few polls like this to be worthwhile. Maybe this shouldn't be an option for users to select, but something the Tumblr website grants/pushes on you at random?

So, yeah. Ten year polls. They should be a thing.
