Protoype Shigaraki and Deku comic based on Horikoshi’s initial notes.

Comic was inspired by my lovely Twitter followers. I don’t advertise it much because it’s supposed to be for my nsfw works but I do post there more than anywhere now so if you wanna see more comics and potentially nsfw ones too check me out there!

A few observations:

1. Shigaraki Tomura's prototypes Tenko and Sazanka both had the innate ability to destroy. Not too far-fetch to assume it's the case for Shimura Tenko/Shigaraki Tomura as well.

2. From the recent chapters, we learned that it should've taken two months for Shigaraki to recover - information provided by Hero-sided scientists and Dr. Ujiko himself. Instead, Shigaraki took/takes only 38 days. This new information was directly provided by AFO, who apparently analyzed the body he's in, after the Jaku Battle, after he took control of Shigaraki.

3. AFO was able to take control of Shigaraki because Spinner brought out Shigaraki's rage. The more hatred there is in Shigaraki's heart, the stronger AFO's will - which is tied to the AFO quirk itself - becomes.

4. Currently, Shigaraki's hatred exceeded AFO and the Doctor's expectations, and it's implied this is why completion is at 97~98%. The more hate Shigaraki has, the quicker the completion rate.

5. Shigaraki's increasing hate always seem to only ever make him more powerful. It's as if he's powered by the amount and intensity of hatred that's inside of his heart. With the Power of Hatred, Shigaraki was even able to cheat death.

6. This hatred is also essential to the All For One Quirk finally able to take One For All by force. Rage makes All For One (quirk) stronger, strong enough to seal OFA. It seems Shigaraki's Hatred powers yet another thing.

7. Hell, it seems like Hatred can even make his hair longer. It seems the more Hatred Shigaraki has, the stronger he gets in all aspects - not just decay, but he, his quirks and abilities, and his body are all enhanced...

8. That sounds like a quirk.

An accumulation or enhancer quirk in which the stronger a trait someone has, the more powerful they can become. We're seen it before with Stress, and that one background character with the Shame quirk.

9. It's been theorized before that All For One gave Tenko the quirk Decay. It's too convenient that Tenko, the grandson of Shimura Nana, would have an extremely powerful, destructive quirk that can annihilate his whole family and home. And there's that man at the door who looks like AFO.

10. However, that conflicts with Observation 1 (see above). Which to be fair, isn't strong, solid evidence - but there's just something about the fact that decay ability has always been a core element of this character throughout variations.

SO WHAT IF we assume both are true? All For One did in fact gave Shimura Tenko a quirk - but it wasn't Decay, which really was a rare-variant mutant quirk. Instead, AFO gave Tenko a Hatred quirk.
