Dark Pit leaned against the rooftop's edge, the city below bathed in the soft glow of streetlights. His arms were crossed, and his gaze was fixed on the horizon. Sayaka stood nearby, her eyes on the stars twinkling above.

Sayaka mustered the courage to speak. "Pittoo, you never really talk about yourself. I know you're not the chatty type, but I'm curious. What's your favorite thing to do when you're not, you know, fighting?"

Dark Pit glanced at her, his expression remaining stoic. "Favorite thing? I don't know, I guess I don't think about it much."

Sayaka nudged him playfully. "Come on, everyone has something they enjoy. Even heroes need a break."

He sighed. "Fine. I… like watching the stars."

Sayaka's eyes widened with surprise. "Really? That's unexpected."

Dark Pit shrugged. "I find it calming. The vastness of space puts things into perspective."

Sayaka grinned. "You're deeper than I thought, Pittoo."

"Don't read too much into it," he replied, a hint of dry humor in his voice.

As they continued their conversation under the night sky, a genuine connection formed between them—one that transcended the battles and challenges they faced as magical girl and angelic warrior.

Kyoko I think would be truly fascinated with both Celeste and Sayaka, which is what makes those ships so interesting

Sayaka and Celeste both put on masks. Sayaka has to keep hers up because of her fame, she’s in the public eye, she can’t break. While Celeste needs to keep hers up to achieve what she wants. Celeste is keeping up lies to become what she wants and Sayaka is keeping a mask up even though she’s probably exhausted.

Kyoko doesn’t wear a mask. She’s blunt. She doesn’t lie. She is her true self. And it truly fascinates her how these two girls can constantly keep up an act.

I think Kyoko would be fascinated with Celeste specifically because of their similarities, they’re both a bit of loners.

Also I feel like Celeste and Sayaka would have a deep understanding of each other, with their masks and keeping up an act. I feel like they were close friends both everything.

Sayaka: It’s always “she’s a snake” “she wanted to frame Makoto” “she tried to kill Leon” “she’s so selfish” As if no one would do it too! The motive was loved ones, hers was her music group, and seeing that she has no body else, they’re all she has. Not to mention, she’s probably given up so much to be an idol to the point she’s sacrificed her independence and her ability to be her own person (I swear, no one really pays attention to her character or backstory). She was a scared teen idol who had so much to lose and she had the most realistic motive to kill, but no, let’s crap on her. Yes, it was harsh, but hey, loved ones in danger! I’d kill and lie to save my loved ones. And I know there are people who’ll put Celeste over her….Celeste lied too, but it was about…THAT(something Sayaka probably went through during her time as an idol) to live in a gothic mansion with vampire butlers. Nothing else. But yeah, the girl who wanted to save the people she loves is the evil snake who loves no one. Didn’t know about the trials

Okay so like, I know that this was the witch that killed Mami for some reason. I think that was something someone shared with me? But like beyond that... what?

Is this the witch version of whatever creature Kyubey is? That seems unlikely, but if it was just a magical girl... why isn't she also in the guise of her former self like the others? Mixture of wanting Sayaka from PMMM to have a happy ending, my preferring of Sailor Moon to PMMM (I don't hate the show and I know it's not a 'deconstruction of magical girls shows' like everyone says but it came off as way too complex for me, so I prefer Sailor Moon to it), love over crossover shipping and putting all my favorite shows together, etc.

Honestly? Probably Sayaka. She's got a hard time limit on her career, she's a part of a heavily exploitative system that controls many aspects of her life, it's implied that she's had to let herself be exploited just to get where she is and survive in the industry, she's had to do all this with a smile on her face, and she's horribly misconstrued by the fandom. Like, let's put it this way: there's a reason I insist on saying idol rather than pop sensation. The connotations of idols are a lot heavier which isn't to say that Western pop stars don't have it rough, but I think Japanese idols have it far worse.

just absolutely love the way they enter oktavia's labyrinth in episode 9??? like this is a small random nitpick but the transition from a quiet lonely atmosphere, to being pulled through the doors, and into one of the most overwhelming and completely loud spaces not just in music, but likely to the characters inside as well???? signifying both sayaka's isolation from those closest to her yet also the irrepresible despair dominating her deepest core?????? she doesn't even have real familiers that aren't just her own, musical echos! like!!

And being pulled as mentioned earlier rather than the simple opening animation from previous witches demonstrating her siren song theme to us, and then soothing it into all of the concert hall, showing even if you are not being hit physically, you are still feeling and hurting from her despair, just like she is even without witches - after all she passed - luring you under the water to drown (which happens to kyouko during this fight!! (metaphorically))!!!

Concept: Reserve Course student Makoto Naegi.

Makoto is just the embodiment of that sunshine kid that gets adopted by a bunch of goths.

Everyone looks down at the Reserve Course students, even their own peers. That is except for Makoto who doesn’t treat any of them with anything but kindness.

Even if people are rude to him at first because they think he’s mocking or pitying them. But they soon learn that no Makoto is just that genuinely kind of a person.

They also learn that Makoto may be nice but he’s not a pushover. Any main course student or teacher that tries to belittle them is met with fury.

Makoto doesn’t even need to throw hands. The verbal beat down he delivers all the while staring them down with the rage of a thousand suns is all he needs.

He won’t let anyone talk badly about his fellow students. Even if he’s ended up suspended or in trouble for it.

That garners him a lot of respect from his peers. And so in true Makoto fashion he accidentally befriends the daughter of the Yakuza and some other powerful students.

Because the Reserve Course students don’t not have talents it means they all paid to get in here through their families wealth or through connections.

Makoto is actually one of the only students that comes from neither wealth nor status. His upbringing was a lot more humble compared to there’s.

How he got in is because of his childhood best friend, Sayaka Maizono.

She was upset he couldn’t attend Hopes Peak and after getting his parents permission she used her money and connections to secure him a place in the next best thing.

Because yes she’d miss him but also because Makoto deserves the best.

Makoto is rather fond of her and so she’s one of the only Ultimates that gets passage into the Reserve Course and isn’t treated with hostility.

It also helps that when shes around Makoto, Sayaka drops the ‘made for tv’ facade instantly. Revealing a bubbly yet sharp and perceptive girl that genuinely loves her craft.

But isn’t a stranger to the darkness within it. How even with her new class, Makoto and her group are the only real friends shes ever had.

They all notice that Makoto, despite missing his friend dearly always gets their permission to let her in the building. Despite Ultimates being allowed to roam freely wherever they want.

He knows how they feel as does Sayaka. She may not have put much stock into the whole Ultimates are better shit but shes more then a little aware of it.

And so she’s always mindful to never bring up her talent or music. Not unless someone else brings up first.

It’s weirdly sweet.

Some of the Reserve Course students begrudgingly find Sayaka not so bad and unfortunately for them she’s caught on. The insults fall into more playful banter and Makoto’s just happy to see everyone getting along.

Then there’s Hajime who thinks Makoto is insane.

Somewhat similarly to the way Nagito blue screens when he learns Hajime doesn’t have a talent.

That’s about how Hajime sees Makoto, because what the fuck is wrong with you?

How can you be so happy as an average person? How can you not be jealous of your talented friend?How can you not want to be part of that world?

Unlike Nagito tho, Hajime never voices any of this so Makoto just smiles and waves him while the man’s inner monologuing.

Don’t get him wrong. Makoto is a sweet guy and is the only one brave enough to stop Natsume and Sato from fighting.

But there’s obviously something deeply wrong with him if you ask Hajime.

Makoto is completely unaware of Hajime’s thoughts. Sayaka on the other hand…

“Call him crazy again. I dare you.” Said Sayaka in a voice many could misinterpret as sweet.

But all Hajime could hear was malice. His blood ran cold, he looked for a way but she was standing by the only exit.

“I..how did you know that I didn’t say anything?!”

She smiled, cold and cruel.

“I’m psychic.”

She couldn’t be..could she?

“I bought Makoto here so he could be close, yes. But also to ensure his safety. Being the bestie of an idol is not an easy position to be in. But I’m rather selfish like that I suppose.”

Her gaze pinned him in place.

“I won’t let you or anyone else look down on him. He is worth more to me than this school ever will. I protect what’s mine Hajime Hinata and I would burn the world if meant keeping him warm.”

Why? Why would someone like her care so deeply for someone like him?

She glared and oh maybe she was psychic.

“I pity you. Not for your lack of talent. But that you’ve somehow convinced yourself that’s all that matters is in the world.”

It was his turn to scoff and she sighed before resuming her threat.

“In any case, you’ve all grown used to the fact that Makoto’s a kind soul. But I am not so gentle. Try anything, and I’ll make sure you can’t even dream about the main building ever again.”

And just like that she was gone.
