Sometimes I think about Zuko being the Firelord and I just giggle like yeah it is an angsty situation, yes it’s got great fanfic material but guys your just going to give a 17 year old a whole country. Like not even a normal trained from birth Prince you’ve got a guy that was officially the Crown Prince for like 3 years and then he was out at sea causing problems. His special skills include hunting the avatar, B&E, being buddies with mythical beasts, prison breaks and customer service and you gave him the ultimate power to do whatever he wants. Not to mention he’s got friends who are just as insane and feral and he’s got all the money. Toph and Sokka are going to talk him into the most insane purchases in seconds. Guys c’mon.

Tim is not 17. Just because they haven’t outright said his age doesn’t mean he’s not aging. He’s like 19/20 based on Damian’s own age.

yeah, so there's this thing called "storytelling" where you show and tell when things happen so readers get a sense of time and space. and people are allowed to be annoyed and/or make jokes about how a character has not aged visibly and keeps reverting back to a space he was in when he was younger

Cody spoke abruptly, umprompted. Obi-wan blinked and swept a glance over the room, following the commander’s gaze - but there was only Alpha-seventeen there, fully geared, helmeted and imposing. He faced off with several other clones in the sparring ring - all of them similarly protected to the point of being nearly featureless.

“How do you know?” Obi-wan asked mildly, but he almost thought he could see it himself - something familiar in Seventeen’s shoulders perhaps, reminiscent of an eager thing Obi-wan had caught glimpse of at an angle during their capture by Ventress.

Cody’s face scrunched in an expression entirely new to Obi-wan, the commander’s eyes narrowed to suspicious slits. “I just know. Excuse me.”

And he shoved on his own helmet and stalked toward the sparring ring, where Alpha-seventeen swiveled mildly (expectantly) to meet him.
