I love that we got a full-on archer duel between Saundor and Vex, concluding with the use of Percy's new arrowhead to finish him off.

That... and also Keyleth using Vax's dagger to free herself, and Vax in turn freeing himself and Percy.

And of course, the Tree Striding Fire Elemental.

They did that whole fight justice.

Also, the classic "My heart is someone else's." (And everyone hearing that.)

Oh, and of course Vex's old bow ended up destroyed. But she has Fenthras now.

a tiny detail i appreciate thus far in titmouse's cr animation is that the elves appear distinctly different from humans. it is extremely interesting to me how vex & vax are the softest-faced and youngest looking elves we see in the show and those traits are clearly inherited from their human mother rather than elven father, who is defined by sharp details - keyleth & her family also share similarly soft features as half elves. and not just syldor fits the elven mold. artagan, saundor, & fince also share these features that not only make them look ever so slightly alien but also arent defined by youth or any semblance of "twinkishness". it reminds me a bit of how elves in the elder scrolls are so fundamentally different from humans down to facial bone structure and yet they're alike to them in growing old, or being fat or hairy - which in my opinion is the best way to tackle elven design. it makes me beyond excited to see how they present ludinus down the line.
