What if, in season 1 episode 2, when who we now know as Viktor saves Jayce in the snow, he sent him to an alternate dimension. We know he can do this. What if Viktor sent him to an alternate dimension that didn't have Hextech like in s2 ep 7 in hopes that Jayce could save that world. And he does. Viktor returns the favor of helping him in some weird permanent loop. They always save each other.
