MORE RECORDINGS?!?!? Yes! I was able to buy tickets for both streams and while I'm not able to screen record them since I don't have a laptop or anything with me here (but someone else is working on that👀) but I was somehow able to audio record We are the Pretty Guardian by Satomi Ookubo(LR-UNV Usagi Tsukino/Sailor Moon and LMF Sailor Cosmos) and Momoyo Koyama(PE-UNV Ami Mizuno/Sailor Mercury) who were the guests on that performance!

Haikyuu Finale

The members of Gekidan Haikyuu share their thoughts after reading the final chapter of Haikyuu!  They were also all given special commemorative shirts to congratulate the series!

Ookubo Satomi (2nd Kiyoko) Furudate-sensei, congratulations on the Haikyuu finale!!  I’m absolutely brimming with emotions I just can’t express in words... (video) Hi everyone! I’m Ookubo Satomi. If you’re wondering why I’m suddenly posting a video, it’s because today! Is the series finale of Haikyuu, which is serialized in the weekly Shounen Jump magazine. (applause) Congratulations! And so on that note, I want to talk about my feelings about Haikyuu. Let’s go!! Now that I’ve changed, let’s start. I am sad... really sad. Haikyuu has been running for a lengthy eight and a half years, but I learned  about it from the anime which started airing in 2014. From that, I became a Karasuno fan. I’ve always cheered on Karasuno, and now on stage, I’ve managed to become a Karasuno member myself and then got to cheer them on while being right beside them. It really felt like a dream, but I was also nervous. Thank you so much!  My impressions of Haikyuu include... powerful lines! The words in Haikyuu are really so powerful, they cheer you on--they really encourage people and gives them the push they need. I really think there really are so many great lines for that. Even for me at times when I’ve felt like breaking down, it’s given me a push, and I think that if you actually play volleyball and read Haikyuu, it must be even more encouraging for those readers. I think. Ahh, I’m so sad... But I’m going to keep reading and re-reading the volumes and Jump, face Haikyuu, and think about all the messages sensei was trying to impart to us in those words. I’m going to continue to study Haikyuu!  Furudate-sensei, congratulations on all of your hard work over these long eight and a half years!!! All the hope and smiles and tears... I’ve felt so many different emotions while reading! And I’m going to keep doing so!  Thank you so so much!!

I found Haikyuu in my teens, grew up together with Hinata and Kageyama and all the rest, really got a taste of the springtime of their youth, and I really feel like they’re my classmates. I’m so glad that Haikyuu was born in this time period. I love Haikyuu!  Furudate-sensei, thank you so much for giving us this wonderful series.

Yeah, Haikyuu's also my favourite sports manga! :D You are also SO right that it's funny to see Satomi as Kiyoko. Satomi was the perfect Moon IMO, coz even her personality seem very Usagi from all the bts we see from the Sera Myu, which is pretty much the exact opposite to Kiyoko. Can you imagine Usagi ever being organized and efficient enough to be a manager and deal with the rowdy bunch at Karasuno?! lmao

Honestly, if you haven't seen Haisute (short form for Haikyuu stage plays) yet, I strongly recommend you to give it a try! They also have one of the most beautiful soundtrack I've ever listened to in 2.5D productions. If you don't care for chronology and just want to get an experience with the production series, I suggest watching Summer of Evolution. It's just so fun, emotional and full of energy, and filled with Easter Eggs from the manga.

Since this is a PGSM blog, I also feel honor bound to say that I think Summer of Evolution is also the stage play I feel you get to best see the different range of Naoki (PGSM Shingo's) acting and talent since he takes on multiple characters in the same show. :DDDD

Today’s daily video guests are Ookubo Satomi (Kiyoko) and Yamamoto Julie (Yachi)!  

The question Akana asks them is… Who would you choose to have as an older brother and a younger brother in the cast? Satomi lists Oribe (Yamaguchi) and Akana (Kageyama), and Daigo is sad that he wasn’t chosen to be either one. Julie’s choices are Yuushin (Ennoshita) and Daigo (Hinata)!   Akana also points out that as managers, the two girls also behave a lot like sisters, with Satomi as everyone’s older sister.

Listen to the differences between Taishi Murata’s characters. His range never ceases to amaze... the only English voice actors with similar ranges (that I know of) are Ben Diskin and Sean Chiplock. 3. On the female side, Umeka Shouji has a surprisingly large range. I’ve mostly heard her play deeper-voiced roles, and then Corona shows up... 4. I love Hiro Shimono’s evil laugh. He doesn’t go all out with Loki, but he sounds like an insane seagull when he does. 5. As a mythology fangirl, I’m a little annoyed by all the changes. Frey, Mani and Vali are supposed to be male; Skuld is supposed to be a Norn (with Verdandi and Urd); Hel, Fenrir and Jormungand are supposed to be Loki and Angrboda’s kids; Idun is supposed to be Bragi’s wife; Thrud is supposed to be Thor’s daughter and Magni and Modi his sons. I’ll update this “lore correction” once I find more characters.
