Well, I’m definitely backing things up- mostly the enormous fashion hoard I’ve managed to accumulate but I want the rest of my shit done as well, it’s just.  A lot. lmf. (Almost 148k of posts, g o d)

But I agree with other people that figuring out where to move is something that’s kind of in limbo for right now. There really is nowhere quite like tumblr (for better or worse). I’m torn between supporting pillowfort to help it get to its feet and hanging back to see what happens. I don’t plan on going to twitter because I love myself.

I’m actually thinking of trying to do a lot more with Dreamwidth communities, honestly, if tumblr is falling apart. Right now, the plan I’m particularly thinking about is starting up a community for artists to advertise when they’re doing commissions. I have a lot of artist friends, and the thing I’ve heard the most is a loss of their base and how hard this is going to hurt them financially. I’d like to help them in any way I can, so this is what I thought of. I ought to get working on it this weekend, and I’ll be talking about it plenty on my plurk. 

If I could help sex workers on here too, that’d be ideal, but I’m rather ignorant about that aspect of tumblr and how that could be helped.

I did my best to try and prevent it but we’ve had a really weird early spring and birdy hormones are raging. Sassy is almost 5 years old and this is her first egg. It’s back in her cage now in case she wants to nest(it’s inferile- no boys around). Hopefully this is it but I’m praying all goes smoothly if she decides to lay any more. I’ve been in contact with our avian vet and watching very closely for any signs of egg-binding. On the bright side it’s warm enough for her to sit outside and get some real UV light to help her absorb her calcium

So after discussing a bit with sassybird so i could have the screenshots, we decided to check our Skype chat, to find the origins of Roger. (nsfw warnings)

It started with me typing into the group chat that I’m having a mid-life crisis now bc i’m predicting my death at 30.

we bantered a bit, just farting around you know, then we started talking about how sassybird thought i had recognised a picture from a doujinshi, bc she wanted to update the group’s picture.
