it's all the people saying dream "didn't donate" to cancer research really driving me crazy 😭😭 the most recent charity stream wasn't for cancer research but he still donated $5k, he did a livestream with technodad that raised over $52k for the sarcoma foundation, he personally donated $21k to cancer research the day techno announced his diagnosis in 2021. and that's not even mentioning everything he has done in private for techno's family to support and help them emotionally/financially, something technodad has talked about many times... such a strange narrative

even when people accept that he's donated money, they'll say it wasn't enough (as if we necessarily know how much he's donated to charity over the years, since it's not like it Needs to be announced). there's no winning with these people

Surely I think dream can't get worse in context to seemingly exploiting technoblades death for clout and to draw attention away from the grooming allegations.

Like. Sure he did a stream with technodad right around the time the allegations really started to kick off, but that was planned in advance anyways.

And sure out of the four creators who made collab merch for the One Of Us foundation (skeppy, Tommy, and philza were the other 3) he's the only one who didn't let the proceeds go to the sarcoma foundation.

But then in the teaser for the music video for the song he made that is somehow a tribute to technoblade (I refuse to even read the damn lyrics. But apparently there was input from technodad?) There's a scene where someone is playing techno in a hospital bed. I didn't have the sound on and honestly I don't even want to know what lyrics were over that because what the fuck.

And the comments on the teaser are like "thank u for carrying on technoblades legacy" BY HAVING AN ACTOR RECREATE HIM AT HIS WORST? TECHNOBLADES LEGACY ISNT HOW HE FUCKING DIED. THATS LITERALLY THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF THE WHOLE FUCKING POINT OF ANY LEGACY EVER. ITS ABOUT HOW AND WHAT THEY DID WHEN THEY WERE STILL ALIVE. AND HOW PEOPLE CAN CONTINUE THAT POSITIVE IMPACT. ITS ABOUT HIGHLIGJTING RKSK

i know i already posted this but, i finished and the ending is important.

so the first paragraph is biography. second is the good things hes already done and the third is what he can do better...i hope im not judge by what i finished with.

Wilbur Soot is an english musician and Minecraft Youtuber/Streamer. Popular for his part in the “Dream smp” and his position in the indie rock band “Lovejoy”, With 1,622,433 Followers and 1,212,540 monthly listeners on spotify. But before that, he had his own channel of music, was a former member of a channel called “Soot House”, and is the creator of the infamous “Editor Wilbur ARG”. It was Wilbur's presence as Lead editor and Co-Founder in 2017 in the comedy channel “Soot House” that began his rise to fame. His music career started in 2018, writing comedy songs, his first EP in 2019 being 13 minutes (four tracks/songs) long called “Maybe I was Boring”. The most impactful thing(s) Wilbur has done, would be in my opinion, His release of “Your City Gave Me Asthma” and supporting and creating several Fundraisers for multiple occasions and events. The main Fundraisers would be Stand Up To Cancer, The Sarcoma Foundation of America, and The WilburSoot Pride Fundraiser. These fundraisers are now over, having been able to successfully raise and distribute the money to those in need. “Jubilee Line” from the album “Your City Gave Me Asthma” is about all the pollution in the London underground transit system and how many take their lives and are ignored by the many commuters. He said in a Twitch stream once, “after experiencing people take their lives on the London underground only to receive disgruntled groans by commuters who will now be late for whatever it is they’re going to, one becomes quite jaded to the human condition in general. I guess this last line was me putting blame on the city rather than those commuters or the poor people who committed suicide.”  

For things he can do better, is just be himself. I feel like he has provided enough and to want more from someone like himself, it would be selfish.  He already makes so many people smile, his music makes so many people happy, he’s donated to so many causes, why would we ask for more? We know nothing of how fame affects him, of how he feels… and by not asking more, we are respecting him. Grade me what you may, but I stand by what I believe.

Everyone who attended the stream, thank you from the bottom of my heart. We nearly shattered the original goal in mind of $100 and nearly doubled it. That's beyond insane to me.

Cancer has been a personal issue to me. I've lost multiple friends and family due to complications with various kinds of cancers. Being able to help fight head-on with Sarcoma means a lot to me, and I owe FatRatLive my thanks for letting me be part of this incredible event.

As promised on stream, I'll be shaving my head since we passed the goal. I'll post proof in the coming days.

I went down a dream pipeline and I would like to apologize to EVERYONE who knew me during my dream defender era, because what I was defending was sick and gross. all of the dream team for that matter. to be 100% honest the technoblade charity stream really woke me up.

and this whole qsmp vs usmp shit is gross. quackity had an idea, dream found out about it (made one video on it and never went through with it) stole his idea, and was being a dick about it. not to mention the Qsmp was originally created to bring together his two main communities? (english+spanish)

I don't know how to talk about this screenshot but, ick.

not to mention his un-face reveal was for clout and he re-uploaded it on DreamXD, even when he said it was because of what people were saying about his face? he took zero precautions to assure no one actually saw his face. (released a music video with his face in it not too long after!! at least he made that one a fundraiser!!) especially because quite a few of his friends struggle with issues like that ??

I don't even really want to talk about what george was doing during the charity stream. the fact TOMMY asked him to stop is crazy. he was dead silent in the banter podcast episode where he could have killed karl?? it's all the "he looks guilty, he just doesn't know how to apologize, he's so uwu baby he doesn't know better" that pisses me off. he's a grown ass man. he needs to step up and apologize.

sapnap joining kick is really all that he did, but that's gross too, joining a openly homophobic, Transphobic, racist and misogynistic platform when most of his community is lgbtq+poc is horrid. even if it wasn't, still joining and being a part of that. ew. especially his "changing it from the inside" stuff.

bottom line, they're grown men and they need to act like it, I'm truly sorry for ever supporting them.
