Tal-Sarad Kryze

The Obitine lovechild theory is fun, but have you heard the story of the doomed Princess Kryze and the exiled Count of Gesl (aka Walon Vau)? It's not a story Disney would tell you.

It's a standing principle of mine to just ignore the vast majority of the milquetoast live-action worldbuilding of this post-Mandalorian era. At least, the theories and headcanons that used to come out in the before times felt so much more interesting and believably complex. One I am particularly wedded to -- probably because it marries my favorite properties, Republic Commando and TCW -- is Izzy's idea that the mysterious 'princess' Walon Vau was involved with in his youth was none other than a Kryze and the undisclosed parent of Korkie -- in this case, an eldest Kryze sister whose 'star-crossed rebellion' with Vau resulted in the Great Clan Wars (and her own death).

Tal-Sarad emerged from years of building on this idea in the Boba/Leia server with some friends, one of whom gave her this kick-ass ominous name (lit. blood flower). That was like, 6 years ago, but hey, I couldn't draw back then :p

several hours into my attempts to give as many clones mando’a names as possible and I can proudly say: 1) I know literally nothing about english grammar much less mando’a grammar and 2) I have made up so many new mando’a words. so many.
