The problem: you are Michael Bublé, it is 2011 and you would like to make a Christmas album. Your producers want you to sing the classic Christmas song "Santa, Baby," but if you sing it as intended, it's gonna come off as, like, super gay

The proposed solution: you will rewrite the lyrics to the song to imply a platonic friendship between yourself and the man in red, making Santa a real bro who's gonna help you get laid by some hunnies, with cool, masculine gifts like a steel blue convertible, a yacht and tickets to a Canadian hockey game

The reality: the combination of the eroticism of your voice and the inherently sexual vibes of the song means you create a story about a closeted gay guy desperately repressing his desire to - as the kids say - fuck that old man, no homo'ing your way through asking him to trim your tree, promising you'll be such a good boy if he treats you well, and begging him to slide down your chimney

For all of you on Tumblr, more specifically the Duckblr community, one question for all of you who are interested. Are you in favor of organizing Secret Duck Santa again this year?

For those who don't know, it's the time of surprise gift giving that is organized two months before Christmas and goes like a raffle. You give your wishes and then you also give the one you draw, you work for that person, whether through drawings or fanfiction depends on the wishes of the sender. By the way, the person who organized last year's Duck Santa will not participate this year, so the question is who could it be. I don't have a problem organizing it myself, I just can't do it alone.

Certainly your choice.

Hi! So I did a Secret Santa thingie for the Ducktales peoples

I got @colorousme !@duckburgsgreatesttreasures (sideblog)

Based on their request, I drew Scrooge. They were fine with either ‘17 or classic comics but I could tell they really enjoy classic disney duck comics, so I tried to lean into that more. Also I did something I haven’t done in a very long time when it comes to fanart, which is traditional art. I made Scrooge with brush pens and watercolors.

I felt bad about getting this out so late so I added an extra sketch. In their request they said to like Donald & Daisy so I drew the ‘17 version.

The last drawing is more for me but I’m adding it anyway. Its been so long since I’ve really drawn these characters so I had to draw the kids real quick too.

Hi everyone! I came back after a long hiatus, I was sick, and I had my obligations and problems, so don't blame me for this. I will definitely try to be here more often. All in all thanks for voting in the previous Secret Santa poll and the majority voted yes so there will be a Secret Santa this year.

@wacky-nameless-inventor-24 and me will be organizing this year's Duck Secret Santa for all duck lovers, so don't worry. There will be a separate blog about this, and you will find out further details in the coming days, but mostly it is done as usual, for all those who participated in it before. For those who don't know yet, and who will participate for the first time, you will find out soon. It is mainly done for fun and as a sign of friendship and communication in the group and mutual exchange. So don't worry, there will be a Duck Santa and more information coming soon.
