I'll be honest, I never really thought Volcano Vehicle could be improved, and I still don't think so. It's pretty much perfect in every regard.

Sanodg knew that, and when tasked with remixing it for the 20th anniversary album he evoked the great word of Descartes, and said "Fuck it!", then made something entirely different with it.

And I love it, I really do.

Not to be confused with Grip, the original track by the same artist. As absurd as this might sound, Ridge Racer actually got a promo LaserDisc full of gameplay video from Ridge Racer 2.

What's weirder is this LaserDisc has its own original soundtrack. This is the final track on that soundtrack CD.
