Jacqueline Fernandez drops sexy stills from her new music video 'Yimmy Yimmy' - see pics

Jacqueline Fernandez treated her fans and followers on Instagram with some stunning stills from her music video titled 'Yimmy Yimmy'. The actress shared three looks from the video. The first one is of her wearing rugged shorts with a pink crop top. The second is an elegant one with an ivory satin halter neck mini dress seated on a pool table. The third is a red co-ord set in a garage backdrop. Check out the pictures below.

The track features the vocals of Shreya Ghoshal and French R&B singer Tayc. The track is a brain-child of Play DMF's Anshul Garg. Jacqueline said, "Songs have played a huge part in my career, and teaming up with Anshul for ‘Yimmy Yimmy’ is another tick mark on my list. He has such a keen sense of music and it was such an entertaining ride shooting for the song. The vibe of Yimmy Yimmy is so refreshing and energetic and I am sure that the audience will love the song too."​

On the acting front, Jacqueline Fernandez is gearing up for 'Welcome to the Jungle'. 'Welcome 3' is being directed by Ahmed Khan. The star cast of the film also includes Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Sanjay Dutt, Rajpal Yadav, Shreyas Talpade, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh, Rahul Dev, Mukesh Tiwari, Sharib Hashmi, Inaamulhaq, Zakir Hussain, and Yashpal Sharma. Jacqueline has also wrapped up the shoot for 'Fateh' alongside Sonu Sood. The action thriller is based on real-life instances of cybercrime experienced by people during the COVID-19 pandemic. Helmed by Vaibhav Mishra it also stars Shivjyoti Rajput and Vijay Raaz in prominent roles. Some of the prominent names in Hollywood including the director of photography, research team, and action choreographers have been roped in for this film.

Sonu recently heaped praises on her co-star Jacqueline. He said in a statement, "Fateh is going to be Jacqueline's best. I always keep on saying that she has done a wonderful job in the film, and her performance in Fateh will be her best performance.

Cirkus (2022): Ranveer’s “Comedy Of Errors”

Twins are two unique souls united by birth. But what if, two identical pairs of twin brothers give rise to a Comedy of Errors? That’s right! Because that’s what happens in Bollywood’s new release titled “Cirkus”. Adapted from William Shakespeare’s "Comedy of Errors", this comedy-drama has been co-produced and directed by Rohit Shetty. The film stars Ranveer Singh in a dual role. Now the question is, will the theaters showcasing “Cirkus” be filled with the same levels of excitement as in a real circus? Let’s find out! Cirkus (2022) Synopsis: This is the story of two pairs of identical orphaned twins who got separated at birth. One of the pairs of identical twins were both named "Roy" (Ranveer Singh in a dual role) and the other pair of identical twins were both named "Joy" (Varun Sharma in a dual role). These two pairs of identical twin brothers were in an orphanage run by Jamnadas (Murali Sharma). The identical twins got separated at birth in the most unusual manner. Jamnadas gave one Roy and Joy to a couple and another Roy and Joy to another couple. So now when they grow up, Roy 1 gets married to a girl named Mala (Pooja Hegde), and later finds out that they cannot conceive. Thus, Mala decided to adopt a child from the same orphanage where her husband Roy was separated from his twin brother. In another scene, Roy 2 is in love with a girl named Bindu (Jacqueline Fernandez). When Roy 2 and Joy 2 visit the same city where Roy 1 and Joy 1 lives, their lives intertwined and a comedy of errors ensued. Watch till the end to find out whether Roy 1 and Roy 2 will be able to save their respective love lives because a dire misunderstanding follows them. Bindu’s father, Rai Bahadur (Sanjay Mishra), had seen Roy 1 with Mala and has mistaken Roy 1 for his future son-in-law, who is actually Roy 2! Rai Bahadur thinks that his son-in-law Roy 2 is cheating on his daughter Bindu when actually the one he saw was Roy 2's identical twin brother Roy 1 with his wife! I was startled by the variety of colorful costumes worn by the actors. Cirkus is a historical comedy, and I must say that the colorful old-fashioned 1960s costumes of the actors did amplify the overall retro essence of the movie. Cirkus was shot extensively across locations in Indian cities like Mumbai and Ooty. As always, the breathtaking landscapes and scenic beauty of Ooty do add to the cinematic essence of any movie which is shot there. https://youtu.be/9BrrPm3_ksQ Electrifying Songs Check out the groovy tracks in Cirkus. The song “Current Laga Re” is absolutely high-voltage! In this track, Ranveer Singh can be seen dancing with his real-life wife Deepika Padukone who reprises her character from her 2013 film Chennai Express. Other tracks include “Sun Zara” and “Aashiqui” which are rhythmic enough to make you tap your feet to their beats. The scenes in the movie have been sequentially placed so as to minimize confusion in the humorous yet confusing story. Moreover, the editor has managed to keep the run duration to 2 hours and 20 minutes, and I have to agree to the fact that this is a considerable reduction of a massive plot whose original credits go to William Shakespeare himself. Satisfactory Performances I won’t say that the performances of the actors in Cirkus were great. In fact, the forced screenplay of Cirkus made their performances suffer. Still, the actors managed to carry out their respective roles satisfactorily. I am not talking about just any Bollywood actor here. I am referring to the shining star, the "dynamic entertainer" of Bollywood, Ranveer Singh! You must be aware of his incredible performances in historical epics like “Padmaavat” and “Bajirao Mastani”.  This is actually the tyrannous emperor "Alauddin Khilji" of "Padmaavat" who gave nightmares to the audiences! If you compare his performance in those movies with this one, you will agree with me that Ranveer Singh has experienced a considerable downsize in his acting career. Nowadays, he has become more used to playing comical cheeky roles rather than serious, action-oriented, and intriguing ones which he once used to. https://youtu.be/uHcziQcyOUc Varun Sharma who played the second identical twin pair has been seen in various comedy films since the last decade. He is used to playing supporting characters in films, maybe the hero’s friend or his brother. The reason filmmakers cast him is because he adds considerable humor to the script with his bizarre actions and chubby looks. The lead actresses in Cirkus, Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez, performed averagely despite their gorgeous looks. I would say, Cirkus actually lives up to its name! I am saying this because this comedy-drama comprises tons of actors and if I start naming them all, the list may end up in another three or four pages! Actors in Cirkus include legendary Bollywood comedians like Johny Lever, Tiku Talsania, and Sanjay Mishra. Veteran actors like Murali Sharma and Uday Tikekar were also present in this movie. All the actors did carry out their respective characters to their full potential. However, certain shortcomings in the script and screenplay ruined their efforts and diminished the impact of their performances. In short, the actors aren't to be blamed for the failure of this film. Interesting Cameo Appearances Cirkus has special cameo appearances of Bollywood biggie Ajay Devgn in the climax, and actress Deepika Padukone in the song “Current Laga Re”. Deepika happens to be Ranveer Singh’s real-life wife. These two special cameo appearances added glamour to the screenplay; a screenplay that was indeed irritating! if you ask me, why so irritating? I mean, a lot of unwanted comedy has been deliberately forced into the script. What the filmmakers don’t realize is that when you blend excessive unwanted comedy with a confusing plot, it can get direly irritating for the audience. So, this adaptive screenplay of Cirkus fails to live up to its promise of putting in healthy humor. Of course, comedy should be there. But putting in comedy where it is not required does spoil the show! Here, Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors has been adapted to a script depicting a circus just to add to the humor. Upon becoming aware of the storyline, I feel that depicting a circus in this movie was absolutely unnecessary. Similarly, certain instances as well as characters in this movie have been forcefully added just to elongate the screenplay. In a scene, you will see Roy (Ranveer Singh) touching a live wire but he doesn't receive a shock. Instead of him, his identical twin brother staying somewhere else receives the shock. Such scenes do add humor, but if you ask me, I would say that these are completely illogical and absurd. However, there are some genuinely hilarious scenes in Cirkus like the one where the married Roy gets mistaken by his identical twin brother's would-be father-in-law, Rai Bahadur as a cheater. In fact, he was with his wife then. But as Rai Bahadur’s would-be son-in-law was Roy’s identical twin brother, also named Roy, the grievous misunderstanding happened. The scene was actually funny. Not So Pleasing Dialogues The dialogues in Cirkus co-written by Farhad Samji, Sanchit Bedre, and Vidhi Ghodgaonkar are not at all appealing. The dialogues are supposed to be comical but they fail to create an impact due to the way they have been written and delivered. On a serious note, you won’t find them pleasing at all. They are just there for the sake of it. https://youtu.be/9lCTfg8oLNU The Verdict: I think the main reason why Cirkus fails to appeal to the audience is because of its predictable and unoriginal plot. I say "predictable and unoriginal" as this movie is not only adapted from Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors but is a remake of the 1982 comedy-drama "Angoor". And what’s more, Angoor itself was a remake of the 1968 film "Do Dooni Chaar". So Bollywood, for decades, has been formulating movies based on the same plot. I doubt if, in the next 10 or 15 years, we will again see Bollywood come out with yet another movie that will be based on the same plot. The film took two years to be completed owing to the COVID-19 lockdown and restrictions. It finally was able to release on December 23, 2022. To be honest, Rohit Shetty who happens to be a master action director in Bollywood has failed to create an impact this time. Shetty has directed some master blasters like Golmaal, Singham, and Simmba. But his direction in Cirkus is disappointing. I can’t blame him for this. When the raw material is bad, then the end product is sure to come out as bad! I mean, a mindless comedy can be healthy but if it is not backed up with some solid scriptwriting, matters do get worse! Cirkus does have a happy ending with all misunderstandings resolved. However, the climax leaves the audience wondering if there would be a sequel that may come up soon. The ending shows the cast of the Golmaal film series (The four iconic friends, if you have seen the Golmaal series you would know them) coming to stay at Jamnadas’ orphanage. So will we see a sequel that will integrate the Golmaal franchise with this movie? Both happen to be Rohit Shetty’s work. It may be possible! Who knows? As you can see, I have subtitled this review as “Ranveer’s Comedy of Errors”. You may wonder, why? The fact is that I believe, Ranveer Singh has done the biggest mistake in his career by transitioning himself to comical roles from serious action-oriented ones. And the truth is, we can see that for ourselves! One by one his movies are failing at the box office. His earlier comedy-drama “Jayeshbhai Jordaar” failed, and in a similar manner, “Cirkus” may suffer the same plight. 1631 UG, PG & PhD students received their degrees, while 24 achievers received gold medals, 23 won silver & 2 top performers were felicitated with the Chancellor’s medal.

The UP Govt. Sugarcane & Sugar Industries Minister Mr. Sanjay Singh Gangwar, MP Mr. Kanwar Singh Tanwar, the Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri & the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

Former President AIU Dr DS Chauhan, Chairman HIIMS Acharya Dr Manish, & the VC Dr Krishna Kant Dave joined them to unveil the 10th Convocation function ceremony.

The NCC cadets, along with the 28th battalion recruits of PAC, saluted the dignitaries while the band played the national anthem.  

Mr. Sanjay Singh Gangwar, the Minister of Sugarcane and Sugar Industries in the UP Govt, urged students to bring those who have been left behind into the mainstream of development in order for India to become a world leader.

We can achieve this by spreading the light of education to all.

Independence Day Celebration at Shristi English Medium School

On 15th August, 2024 we celebrated 78th Independence Day with dynamic events. The celebration began with a solemn flag hoisting ceremony by our school President Ms Madhumita Jana and our Trustee Dr. Atanu Jana. The National Song and Jhanda Geet set a patriotic tone for the day.

Our students presented patriotic items for the celebration, designed to honor the heroes of India's freedom struggle.

After an inspiring speech by the student, the procession on Quit India Movement gave goosebumps to each one of us. The struggle of the freedom fighters then was felt through the loud slogan ''Bharat Chhodo'', ''Vande Mataram'' and ''Freedom is Our Birth right – Quit India!"

This was followed by the presentation of Kargil War and Kargil Vijay Diwas. It was a feeling of pride to hear the valor of the heroes of Kargil War Captain Vikram Batra, Lieutenant General S. K. Sinha, Major Somnath Sharma, Captain Anuj Nayyar, and Subedar Major Yashwant Singh and many more.

We are fortunate that we are able to celebrate every event, celebration, function because of the hardships and sacrifices of the Indian Army.

The patriotic poem recited by our little ones demonstrated the love, dedication and the commitment towards our nation.

We concluded the ceremony with patriotic song 'Rang Aise Bharo'. It's now that we all together need to be free from all evil thoughts and become a developed country.

The presence of the Principal Mr. Sanjay Mistry, the staff members, School Prefects and the students made the day truly memorable.

Welcome To The Jungle’s grand first schedule rescheduled from Baroda to Mumbai; Akshay Kumar-starrer to go on floors on December 11

The teaser of Welcome To The Jungle was announced with a lot of fanfare on Akshay Kumar’s birthday on September 9 this year. It became a talking point as it starred as many as 24 actors in principal roles – Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Johny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh, Rahul Dev, Mukesh Tiwari, Sharib Hashmi, Inaamulhaq, Zakir Hussain, Yashpal Sharma, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani and child actor Vrihi Kodvara. The funny announcement video also mentioned that the comic caper will be released on Christmas 2024, that is, December 20. As per recent reports, the film is all set to go on floors next week in Mumbai and that the first schedule will last for 9 days.

Bollywood Hungama has found more details about the shoot. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “The filming was all set to begin in Baroda, Gujarat in Laxmi Vilas Palace. This grand structure is a favourite of many filmmakers and is known for its grandeur. The palace was chosen as it is integral to the film and also matches the big-scale appeal of Welcome To The Jungle. A crew of 350 members and 700 dancers were going to be a part of the song schedule which was going to take place from December 11 to December 16.”

The source continued, “But due to certain reasons, the Baroda schedule was called off. The shooting was then shifted to Mumbai. Welcome To The Jungle will now go on floors on December 11, as planned earlier, but in Mumbai instead of the Gujarat city.”

The source also claimed that besides Akshay Kumar, all 23 other actors will also be present for the first schedule of the comic caper.

Welcome To The Jungle is directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Firoz Nadiadwala. Besides this flick, veteran producer Firoz Nadiadwala is also making Hera Pheri 3, starring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal. It is expected to go on floors in 2024. Its teaser announcement video was shot earlier this year in March.

DONO is a clean family entertainer and works due to its simplicity.

DONO is the story of two strangers falling in love. Dev Saraf (Rajveer Deol) is based in Bengaluru and runs a start-up named Primary Workflow Solutions. The business is not going great. On top of it, Alina (Kanikka Kapur), his best friend since childhood and whom he loves dearly, is getting married. Dev declines to be a part of the festivities. But he changes his mind as he feels that attending her marriage can help him find closure. He flies to Hua Hin, Thailand where the marriage is taking place. There, he bumps into Meghna Doshi (Paloma), a close friend of the groom, Nikhil (Rohan Khurana). Another close friend of Nikhil, Gaurav (Aditya Nanda), is also present. He happens to be the ex-boyfriend of Meghna. Both broke up just a month ago. Dev and Meghna are poles apart. While he’s unable to come to terms that the love of his life is getting married, Meghna seems to have moved on rather well. Yet, both get attracted to each other. What happens next forms the rest of the film.

Avnish S Barjatya's story is nothing special. There’s hardly any storyline. Avnish S Barjatya and Manu Sharma's screenplay is engaging and is peppered with sweet and simple moments. However, the writing gets stretched after a point. Avnish S Barjatya and Manu Sharma's dialogues are devoid of any over-the-top one-liners and are very situational.Avnish S Barjatya's direction is uncomplicated. He understands the technicalities like a pro, despite being a debutant director. Also, just like the style of his father Sooraj Barjatya, his content is devoid of any intimacy or violence. It’s a complete, clean family entertainer. The situations in the film are very relatable be it domination by a partner, the quest to find closure, unrequited love, hypocrisy of the society involving womenfolk etc. Also, the troubles and fun associated with a destination wedding, especially when it’s abroad, make for a great watch. Some characters and comical scenes like the cricket match, Dev-Meghna's meeting at the pani puri stall, etc, add to the humour.On the flipside, at 156 minutes, the film is too lengthy. After a point, it becomes tedious to sit through the film. Secondly, the track of Dev and his parents is very unconvincing. It is strange that Dev is meeting his parents after three years at the Thailand wedding. Yet, he’s not shown spending time with them. Some factual errors distract viewers. For instance, Dev coolly says that he has a flight in 2 hours. Yet, he’s seated in his hotel which is more than an hour's drive from the nearest airport!Both Rajveer Deol and Paloma look great on screen and have a fine presence. However, they need to fine-tune their craft. Kanikka Kapur is decent. Aditya Nanda plays his character with panache. Manik Papneja (Gopal aka Gappu) is superb and raises a lot of laughs. Poojan Chhabra (Vilas) also adds to the fun. Rohan Khurana gets no scope. Sanjay Nath (Jagmohan; the groom’s father) is excellent as the man who never smiles. Micky Makhija (Dilip Saraf)’s performance suffers due to the writing. Mohit Chauhan (Ashok Jaisingh) leaves a mark in the beginning but later on, he doesn’t have much to do. Tisca Chopra (Anjali Malhotra) hams. Varun Buddhadev (young Dev) and Muskan Kalyani (young Alina) are lovely.Dono: Official Trailer | Rajveer Deol, Paloma Thakeria, Avnish S. BarjatyaShankar-Ehsaan-Loy's music doesn’t have a shelf life. The title song is the most memorable one. 'Khamma Ghani' is based on an interesting idea. This is followed by 'Mann Mauji', Khatt Mitthiyaan', 'Agg Lagdi', 'Lehenga Padd Gaya Mehenga' and 'Raangla'. George Joseph's background score has a cinematic, commercial feel.Chirantan Das' cinematography is appropriate. The locales of Thailand are well-shot. Sujeet Sawant and Sriram Iyengar's production design is top-class. Terrence Lobo's costumes are very glamorous, especially the ones worn by the leading actors. Shweta Venkat Mathew's editing is weak. The film could have been shorter by at least 15 minutes.On the whole, DONO is a clean family entertainer and works due to its simplicity, relatable goings-on and some funny and emotional moments.
