A real one this time. This one’s basically my favorite of my hundreds of children

Meet Prof Lethbridge! (This art by @sandwichhour​, they’re amazing)

Prof (yes, that’s her given name) is a Mad Scientist, who was rendered entirely monochrome by a lab accident that put her in contact with an entity called The Host; imagine Rod Serling, but more bigoted and omniscient. As this connection allows the Host to re-enter the mortal world and tinker even more with reality and causality, Prof has to use her scientific know-how and her monster-y friends to put a stop to him.

Incidentally, this rebellion against control and others telling her what her life should be is what lets Prof realize that she’s actually a girl. She transitions over the course of the following major story arcs/books, one set 3 months after the Host incident, and the next one 4 years after that (this “book 3″ era of Prof is what all of these arts represent).

Anyway I think about this lass too much, and I’m pretty sure she has the most tags in my oc tag. So I’m putting her here! I hope y’all like her as much as I do.

sandwichhour on Tumblr dot com did this cute little relationship chart thing with their gothic lit babes that had silly quotes on it and I fucking LOVE silly quotes. So I went up to them and went hooh hello could I maybe do something like that with JD? And they said yeaas. So I went yippee!!

Before remembering that there are SEVEN of these guys and EIGHT designs. Making the lines SO CLUTTERED meaning I had to make EIGHT ALTERNATIVE SAVES. And my arm hurts and I’ll hate it in the morning .
