No wonder Bill fell hard and assumed that Ford would be into causing the apocalypse together with him. If my man Ford was dropping casual lines like these in Bill's presence, no wonder he would assume that this was a man made of co-galactic-chaos-god-king material.

I love how TBOB turned Ford's "I was an innocent and naive scientist tricked by a cruel master manipulator" into "Oh, he was definitely tempted to go down hand in unlovable hand!" Like yes, clearly he still has moral framework that Bill doesn't, but I'm sure that there are dark hours of the night where Ford almost wishes he didn't.

Mom was doing a crossword and was trying to figure out the answer to the northernmost African country. With the letters, I knew it had to be Tunisia.

Mom: I didn’t know Tunisia was in Africa.

Me: You might be thinking of Tasmania, which is in Australia.

Mom: Tasmania isn’t in Romania?

Me: No, you’re thinking of Transylvania.

the other day i was looking up a picture of a chesterfield couch to show my boyfriend, because we were in the market for a couch and we have a taste for gothic furniture

this, for the unacquainted, is a chesterfield

i spotted, however, in the ads at the top of google (because, alack and alas, i was a cuck using my phone's auto google search instead of a superior search engine or firefox with ad blocker) the following image

now, it was immediately obvious to me that this was an AI-generated image, but i was still enamored with the concept of gorilla couch and needed to show my bf immediately

i discovered two things:

this object was for sale on aliexpress for $8000

the other images for the listing were not only also AI-generated, but, because of this, they were not at all the same piece of furniture

(sorry for varying quality, i'm having trouble accessing the originals)

now, what i really want to know is what you actually receive if you place this $8000 order from aliexpress, a thing i would never recommend anyone do even if the listing seemed even remotely legitimate

but at the very least, i can understand to some degree how these various AI-generated gorilla couches could be considered permutations of the same object, if you have little understanding of the situation or literacy in identifying AI-generated images—it even lists the red ape as "burgundy", like a normal variant of a furniture listing

what i don't understand are these beautiful monstrosities being sold—sold, i remind you—as the same gorilla couch
