Cashew butter
source
Materials
Food processor (blender will work if you have a really strong one and you're not afraid to overheat it)
Airtight container
Ingredients
Cashews (salted and roasted), 225 gr
Oil (any neutral oil, I used sunflower), 1 tbsp
Method
Pour cashews in the food processor and blend until it reaches a creamy peanut-butter state. It will take about 5 to 10 mins.
Add in a tbsp of oil to better keep it liquid when not consuming directly. I recommend any oil that's in liquid state at the temperature you want to keep it.
Notes
The original recipe says to use coconut oil, but seeing as that solidifies at around room temp, I never use it.

Sandwich Spread In Pennsylvania, we used this recipe for kid's birthday celebrations. I recall my parents using a traditional meat grinder to grind the bologna. They cut the sandwiches into triangles and spread it on white bread. We had cake and ice cream, of course. 1/4 cup dill pickle relish, 1 pound bologna cut into pieces, 1/2 cup mayonnaise

Salmon sandwich spread
source: based of the ingredients of the store-bought version
Materials
Airtight container to keep it in, in the fridge, when not consuming directly
Ingredients
Salmon (raw, with or without skin), 160 gr raw or 130 gr poached/cooked
Mayonaise, 80 gr
Vinegar, 1 tsp
Tomato paste, 5gr
Egg (hard boiled), 1/3
Salt & pepper
Method
Poach the salmon. I did this by getting 0.5L veggie stock from a cube, adding a good splash of white wine, and some dried tarragon, thyme and parsley. I got it to a boil, then reduced the heat, added the raw salmon and put on the lid. I let it sit for 8 minutes, making sure it never got to a boil and then checked if the inside was fully cooked.
Let the salmon cool down completely in the fridge. In the mean time, boil the egg and let that cool down too.
To your container, add in the mayonaise, vinegar and tomato paste. Mix everything together.
On the plate you cooled down the salmon on, mash it with a fork until it's all flakes. Do the same with 1/3 of the egg (or cut that up).
Add the salmon and egg to the container with the sauce. Add a good amount of salt, for me it really needed more than that I thought it would. Add some pepper to taste.
Notes
The original 'recipe' (aka ingredients) has steamed potato, but I wasn't gonna steam 1/8 of a potato of some equivalent ridiculous amount for this.
You can keep this in the fridge for a few day, I think at least up to a week.
You can mash up the salmon in your container, mixed in with the other ingredients, or do it on a plate.
