finally finished the designs for all the queens of my fan series!!! I love all of their designs, and I’m so glad I can flesh this world out more :)
some more info on each queen below (and tumblr may have destroyed the quality, so click on the image if you want a better look)⬇️
Queen Rafflesia is the second oldest queen in Xevenay (my fan continent), and is the current leader of the MudWings. She is described as a very fair and well rounded queen, and is fiercely loyal and dedicated to running her tribe. She may not be as young and spry as when she was younger, but she’ll do anything to make sure her tribe is safe, happy, and strong. Rafflesia and her sib group are currently working on repairing the damage done to her tribe’s territory after the Hive Takeover (a war that resulted in most of her tribe abandoning their land when they were attacked by HiveWings). The next queen in line is going to be Rose Mallow (her granddaughter).
Queen Lapis is the current queen of the SeaWings, and has stepped into her role quite smoothly. After the death of Queen Tuna due to old age, Lapis was deemed fit for queenhood, and is a complete natural. She is the twin of Princess/General Lazuli, and is the complete opposite of her fierce, ambitious sister. Lapis is fair, calm-minded, rational, and a very intelligent dragon. Many SeaWings are relieved that she was chosen as the next queen rather than Lazuli, as although Lazuli is an amazing general and a fierce warrior, she wouldn’t be quite fit for queenhood—unlike Lapis. There has been no current heir picked, as Lapis is a fairly new Queen and is still young and healthy.
Queen Tangerine is the current queen of the RainWings, and is pretty different from the previous two discussed. She is short-tempered, easily annoyed, and likes things to stay consistent. Dragonets are probably her least favourite thing in the world, but luckily her heirs have been raised by her husband and wife—who are way better at taking care of dragonets than her. She is proudly polyamorous, and loves all her partners dearly. Despite all of her flaws, she has been a pretty popular queen throughout her ruling; at least by pure RainWings—hybrids aren’t too fond of her due to her distaste of them. The next queen in line is going to be Kiyomi (her daughter).
Queen Dusk is the current queen of the SandWings, and is an often overlooked queen. It’s not that she’s boring or weak or anything like that, it’s just that she hasn’t done anything too significant during her ruling. She did offer sanctuary to many SandWings who were affected by the Hive Takeover (as the HiveWings did encroach on Sand Kingdom territory, but didn’t end up taking much land due to harsh conditions), and sent out many military units to help defend her borders and other neighbouring kingdoms (such as the Mud Kingdom and Sky Kingdom). Other than her contributions to the most recent conflicts, she hasn’t done much, and is a pretty solitary queen who enjoys music and writing. The next queen in line is going to be Ringtail (her cousin (in my universe, cousins are able to become queens)).
Queen Dreamcatcher is the oldest queen on the continent, and is the current queen of the NightWings. In her long life, she has been through many hardships and battles, but despite all that, she is a very kind and generous queen. She almost single-clawedly repaired her tribe after a rough ruling from her grandmother, and due to this, she is quite popular with not only the NightWing tribe, but the other neighbouring tribes too. Maybe it’s the age getting to her, or maybe she’s always been like this, but Dreamcatcher has always been the most lax of all the queens on rules and regulations. Nowadays, her ruling is split between her, her husband, and her granddaughter (and future ruler) Hopefulsight.
Queen Topaz is the current queen of the SkyWings, although she wishes she wasn’t. Before her ruling, her sister, Queen Redtail, ruled the SkyWings amazingly, and was popular with all the tribes. But after being killed in a battle during the Hive Takeover, Topaz was forced to step in as the next queen quite unexpectedly. Due to this, Topaz is a very bitter and angry dragon, and often takes out her frustrations on her servants and royal councillors. The only dragon Topaz seems to tolerate is Queen Lapis—in fact, they were formerly very close friends and clawmates at Jewel Mountain Academy before they both had to step into their royal roles more. There is no current heir picked, as Topaz refuses to appoint one.
Queen Floe is the current leader of the IceWings, and is a queen you should definitely not mess with. She is wicked smart, and thanks to her extensive knowledge and large council, makes her a formidable opponent and a very intimidating dragon. However, she isn’t a terrible dictator or something like that. She’s surprisingly fair and respectful, and takes the time to work out any intertribal conflicts with grace and precision. Outside of her tribe though, she can be quite prickly and hard to get to know, and isn’t afraid to stand up for what she wants. The next queen in line is going to be Larna (her niece).
Queen Sunflower is the newest appointed queen in Xevenay, and her road to queendom has been quite a rough one. She was the one to kill the previous queen of the HiveWings—her mother, Queen Cadmium—after she went on a crazy power trip and started the Hive Takeover. She was almost killed by Cadmium, and was left with a scarred face, a mangled ear, and a broken horn. Since then, the HiveWings have been slowly rebuilding their tribe and paying their respects to the other tribes that had been damaged during the war—and all of this burden lays on poor Sunflower. She is very different than the average HiveWing, as she is much more considerate and kind, but that is a welcome change after the tyrant that was Cadmium. She has appointed Princess Ladybug as an heir in case things go wrong, but it is very unlikely that anyone will challenge Queen Sunflower.
Queen Azure is the current queen of the SilkWings, and is the definition of SilkWing stereotypes. She’s an often overlooked queen due to her softness and dislike of conflict, but to her, that’s perfectly fine. She’s a very agreeable queen, and is always willing to lend a claw to other tribes if they need help or resources. As a result, she’s been taken advantage of by quite a few other queens, and her council is often frustrated by her inability to set firm boundaries. She also has a fondness for humans, and makes sure Moorlands (the human town in SilkWing territory) is doing well and isn’t being targeted by other human-hating dragons. The next queen in line is going to be Claudina (her cousin).
Queen Acorn is the current queen of the LeafWings, and has had a rough time with her rule. During her early years as queen, she had to work with the NightWings quite extensively in order to prevent a full-blown war (it’s a very long story involving animus abuse and dragons possessing others lol), and even implemented a rule stating that animus dragons cannot be used like tools by their queens, and that abuse against animi is forbidden. Nowadays, Acorn is a secluded queen, preferring to keep LeafWing business to themselves and overall being a polite but distant figure of authority. The next queen in line is going to be Briar.
Queen Raven is the current queen of the RoostWings, and is one of my personal favourites. She’s gone through a lot during her short life as queen, but she’s handled it very well. From setting up the new Roostwing territory after fleeing their old home, to dealing with 11 other tribes that the RoostWings have never interacted with or even knew of their existence until recently, she’s been through it. However, she’s remarkably resilient and good-hearted, and just wants what’s best for her tribe and family. There are no current heirs old enough to be considered for the throne, but she’s planning on having eggs soon, and has a niece of her own who seems promising.
Last but certainly not least, Queen Emerald. She’s the current queen of the CaveWings, and has only recently become a somewhat unpopular queen. Before the CaveWing Emergence, she was respected and well liked by all CaveWings due to her desire to keep the CaveWing communities healthy and safe, and her plans to expand their underground home into more sustainable territory. However, after the CaveWings were rediscovered and emerged to live alongside “the surface dwellers”, Emerald’s old ways started to make change and adaptation harder, and a number of dragons believed that a new queen that wanted the CaveWings to mingle with the other tribes and was more willing to work with other tribes would be more desirable. Emerald hasn’t caught onto these rumours yet, but luckily she has an heir—Princess Tsavorite—that would replace her if anything… unfortunate… were to happen.

Retold Flames: Succession War
Got the first piece of many for a retelling AU here (holding multiple AU ideas). For some AU world building, Animus Magic has rules such as one has to have the intent to use animus magic to create an enchantment, you must be touching an object to place an enchantment, an enchantment can only do one thing, creating an enchantment has costs (preventing that cost can prevent the creation of an enchantment) enchantments can be overridden unless they are made permanent, enchantments can form a personality, enchantments based in memory or animating an object can form sentience. Twin eggs also have their own thing going on for each tribe with one dragonet being a fire scale variant and the other being of a subtribe. (There is a more detailed version for both on Ao3.)
Burn: Before the Succession War, Burn would be a somewhat kind yet fierce dragon, caring for her collection of odd creatures (getting inspiration for her hobby of poetry from them as they wandered around the Palace and giving the place some life) with help from her brother Smolder and sister Blaze who she would be close to (also including their father Char who would help teach Burn and Smolder about caring for creatures before his untimely death); Being on trusting terms with her mother Oasis and not so with her sister Blister. (Burn was also generally favored in being the one to be accepted by the Eye of Onyx, used as a way to choose a new queen.)
With the death of Oasis at the hands of Scavengers, Burn would enact her revenge on them and lead a small force that would push out most of the Scavenger population out of the Kingdom of Sand. Following this, Burn would find Blister has fled and enacted war on her, being allied with Queen Coral and the Kingdom of Sea (Forming the Shoreside Alliance); Burn herself retaliating with an alliance with Queen Harp and the Kingdom of Ice as well as being joined by Queen Scarlet and the Sky Kingdom. The Alliance itself come to be known as the Burning Alliance. (Scarlet’s involvement would lead the war to spread into the Mud Kingdom and lead High Queen Moorhen and her sibs to ally with the Shoreside Alliance.)
During the early years of the War, Burn would be tempted by Scarlet into choosing to do some unsavory stuff and escalating to her becoming her more brutal self and killing queen Harp. Leading to the Ice Kingdom breaking off their alliance with Burn and allying with Blaze with Princess Glacier taking the throne and forming the Sand-Ice Alliance. (Burn would come to kill and stuff her collection of creatures that would eventually be joined by the remains of dragons with abnormal parts, having her tower constructed to hold said collection.)
During the later years of the War, Burn would acquire an ally in the Mud Kingdom and its monarchy after they were blamed for failing to stop the assassination of Commander Tempest and being cut off from the Shoreside Alliance. (The Mud Kingdom is ruled by a Sibtroop of Kings and Queens with the Bigwing acting as a High Monarch.) Burn herself would connect with Moorhen as older siblings, building into a somewhat close friendship as Moorhen and the rest of her sibs would help temper Burn’s more destructive tendencies over the years. (Burn’s tower would be left to collect dust in the wake of past memories.)
Sometime after the brightest night 0f 5,005 A.S. and destroying the supposed Skywing egg for the prophecy, Burn would form the Talons of Power; A group tasked with bringing order to the Souther regions of the Kingdom of Sand that have become rampant with crime due to lack of enforcement due to forces being pulled to the war up north. While the Talons would be generally successful in their endeavors for a few years, they would eventually collapse due to internal conflict/sabotage (such as from crime Lord Vulture sending his daughter Cobra to infiltrate the Talons).
As the War nears its end, the Burning Alliance nears complete victory over the Shoreside Alliance, being held back by Scarlet who has continued to cause issues for the Burning Alliance throughout the War; Leading Burn and Moorhen to assist Princess Ruby in usurping her mother Scarlet so they may finish the fight against the Shoreside Alliance.
-
Scarlet & Chameleon (& Cobra): When the Succession War began, Scarlet would join the Secret Alliance with Blister and Seawing Advisor Whirlpool then the Burning Alliance with Burn under the pretense of infiltrating; instead using it to prolong the war and its suffering for her own personal enjoyment, taking up a little pet project in shepherding Burn into becoming merciless and brutal. Taking an even greater enjoyment as the War becomes more miserable for others.
During the early years of the Succession War, Scarlet would catch/first meet Chameleon using his Nightwing Enchantment Shapeshifter, along with his enchantment creating scroll, to steal treasure from her. Finding his seeming skill to create transformation enchantments (as well as artistry), Scarlet would seek to use his skills for herself (along with not wanting to personally deal with the consequences of using animus magic). Having him create a Skywing enchantment named Soar and use it to become champion of the arena so she can keep him close without suspicion, getting her guard Osprey (former champion and present defense attorney) to train Soar who would eventually succeed in becoming champion of the arena (suffering through till the end).
With Chameleon an arena champion as Sora, Scarlet would use his skills to her personal benefit from creating small, unnoticeable enchantments dealing with inconveniences for herself to having him create immaculate art and jewelry for her; Even going on to use him for her personal enjoyment, using him as Soar to produce an heir to eventually replace her daughter Tourmaline (as she has done many times with her previous daughters and male arena champions). From this, Scarlet would have her twelfth daughter Pyrite, a bit of a clumsy dragonet that would be adored by her father; An adoration that would turn to grief as Tourmaline, taking after her mother, would kill her sister as a threat to taking the throne and in jealousy of being more loved. Such an act would enrage Scarlet with her plan being ruined, taking revenge by personally using Chameleons scroll to transform Tourmaline into being her thirteenth daughter Ruby and permanently replacing her memories of being Tourmaline with a willingness to follow her mother’s commands (a willingness that Ruby would eventually overcome).
As the Succession War rages on, Scarlet would enact a breeding program to increase a dwindling population, getting her arena champions Soar and Kestrel into the program as well; Eventually leading to Scarlet catching Kestrel fleeing with her Fire Scale and Featherwing (Twin Egg Subtribe) dragonets, getting her to kill one of her dragonets with the promise of letting her other dragonet live; Watching as Kestrel would give in and throw her Featherwing dragonet in a raging river (not seeing any chance of it surviving), leaving Scarlet to attempt to kill Kestrel who she had no plans of letting go; Something that wouldn't come to pass as they would attempt to flee with their Fire Scale dragonet, dropping the dragonet from their burning talons (of the third degree). With Scarlet now in possession of a Fire Scale dragonet, she would use them as another of her arena champions and ensure they make their fight brutal with Osprey training them (teaching a few other things behind Scarlet's back as well).
Not wanting Chameleon/Soar to learn of one of his dragonets surviving, Scarlet would send him to infiltrate the Talons of Power (for the Secret Alliance) as a Sandwing named Platyr (bringing a few other enchantments with him to use). While in the Talons, Platyr would meet Talon members Thorn, becoming somewhat friends, and Cobra who would attempt to allure Platyr (believing him to be an animus due to the new enchanted items he keeps getting and being tasked by her father Vulture in getting his supposed animus magic, something she would be woefully unprepared for due to her general lack of social skills from solely living as an assassin for Vulture. Leaving Cobra to reluctantly go to Thorn to figure out about Platyr and not giving away her true intentions, leading to a comedy of errors with Cobra unintentionally making it seem like she romantically likes Platyr to Thorn; Something that Cobra would roll with, seeing it as a way to get Platyr with help from Thorn who would help her actually be able to somewhat socialize with Platyr. Building into a forming relationship between Cobra and Platyr that would take a bit of an escalation with the two having a twin egg that would hatch into being their Bile Flame (Fire Scale Variant) daughter Rattlesnake taking after her grandfather and their Cactwing (Twin Egg Subtribe) son Sirocco taking after his mother. Eventually, Cobra would come to learn of Platyr's enchantment creating scroll, still bearing a loyalty to Vulture; Escalating into Platyr fleeing for his life, never to be seen again as Cobra would attempt to kill him to take his scroll (unknowingly leaving her with another egg).
With Chameleon returning to the Sky Kingdom, Scarlet would send him out again, this time as an Icewing named Cirrus sent to work with Mudwing Crocodile to infiltrate the Talons of Peace for the Burning Alliance. She would bring Chameleon/Soar back for a short period to enchant a captured Prince Hailstorm, a powerful and charismatic warrior in the Sand-Ice Alliance, to ensure is hidden and not rescued. Scarlet would convince Chameleon/Soar to use it as a way to bring his daughter back, using it as a way to strengthen his loyalty to her; Permanently enchanting Hailstorm to physically be Pyrite and enchanting their necklace to replace Hailstorm's memories with Pyrite's. Scarlet would have Pyrite go with Chameleon/Cirrus to infiltrate the Talons as it would be suspicious if a dead princess was walking around. Cirrus would go on to ingrain Pyrite to never take her necklace off as it is keeping her alive.
During the latter years of the war, Scarlet would assist Blister in a gambit to get Whirlpool to take the place of King Gill next to Queen Coral for political gain. Scarlet would be tasked in capturing Gill but be left with the unfortunate task of making Whirlpool into a dragon that can swoon Coral, working with Nightwing Morrowseer in both tasks. With Scarlet holding Gill captive, she would make him into her pet project; Quite literally in fact as she would deprive him of water to make him insane, using him as a beast of a champion for the arena and for her own personal enjoyment.
As Scarlet's hatching day draws near, Morrowseer would pay a short visit and grant her a chance at some 'gifts'. Giving her directions on where to get them, leaving her to round up a group of guards to do so.
-
Blister: Before the Succession War, Blister would be conniving brat that would scheme against her mother Oasis, the rest of her family and other dragons of her home; Ranging from simple pranks to being nearly fatal (the latter more targeted towards her sisters in an attempt to take them out as competition to the throne). Occasionally, Blister would help her siblings in hanging out behind their paranoid mother’s back (not joining them herself), if only to get at Oasis who would seek to mold the siblings into being caricatures of theme selves (attempting to make them not a threat to the throne). This would culminate in Blister not getting Burn to help Oasis in stoping Scavengers from stealing her treasure, instead going to the treasury to steal the eye of Onyx for herself (being rejected by it once she got it).
With her mother’s death, Blister would be the one to start the Succession War against her sister Burn; burying the Eye of Onyx (being believed to have been stolen by scavengers) within her mother’s grave and fleeing. Forming the Shoreside Alliance by manipulating Queen Coral and allying with the Kingdom of Sea, the same being done with High Queen Moorhen and the Mud Kingdom. Blister would also form a Secret Alliance with Queen Scarlet as a way to cause issues in the Burning Alliance and Advisor Whirlpool as a way to gain more power and influence in the Kingdom of Sea (as well as to help gain more influence in manipulating Coral herself). The Secret Alliance would later be joined by Nightwing Advisor Morrowseer.
During the early years of the War, Blister would create the Talons of Peace as one of its founders alongside Commander Tempest. (Tempest would later be assassinated after coming close to uncovering the Secret Alliance, leading to the Mud Kingdom being blamed and being cut out of the Shoreside Alliance. The Talons of Peace would also be ostracized from the Kingdom of Sea) The Talons of Peace themselves would have goal of ensuring the war ends with Blister on the throne, being pushed by the Dragonet Prophecy created by Morrowseer. (The Talons themselves having two groups of dragonets being raised for the prophecy, one hidden with the Talons themselves and another hidden elsewhere.)
During the latter years of the war, Blister would enact a plan to get Whirlpool on the Kingdom of Sea throne. Having Morrowseer ensure King Gill is captured and make it look like the Sky Kingdom solely did it with Scarlet holding the King Prisoner. Blister herself would work to convince Queen Coral to move on from Gill and give at least a chance at dating Whirlpool, giving both Scarlet and Morrowseer the unfortunate task of getting him to be a dragon that can swoon Coral into marrying him. They would succeed in getting Whirlpool and Coral married (the two even having a clutch of eggs with one to eventually hatch Auklet). With Whirlpool successfully married to Coral, Blister would use them both to manipulate the Kingdom into preferring herself and favor her ruling over the Royal Family.
When it is found out that Coral daughter Anemone has animus magic, Blister would seek to use Anemone and their magic for herself; Using her influence over Coral to keep an eye on Anemone without her mother in sight. With Coral generally being quite controlling and heavily restricting what Anemone can do with Whirlpool a very awful tutor that would undermine her use in animus magic at the behest of Coral (going somewhat against the rest of the Secret Alliance now that he has what he desires), Blister would work to ensure that Anemone is skilled in using Animus Magic as well as healthy and happy enough to use said magic to help Blister (along with ensuring she is knowledgeable on how animus magic works as well). Put simply, Blister would eventually become somewhat of a decent parent (much better than Coral) to achieve her goal and unintentionally becoming close to Anemone, becoming an exception in her life.
As the war nears its end, Blister would make preparation for the dragonet prophecy by having Morrowseer acquire the Dragonets of Destiny for the Dragonet Prophecy while she and Scarlet would cover up any traces to the Talons of Peace by wiping them out. (Their plans having to be enacted early due to the Burning Alliance enclosing in on victory over the Shoreside Alliance.)
-
Stonemover & Thorn: During the early years of the Succession war, Stonemover would be closely guarded and restricted from moving around the Nightwing Island before it became desolate from the volcano first erupting (wiping out the vegetation and a majority of the Nightwing Islands inhabitants).
As an animus of the Nightwing Island, Stonemover would be tasked with creating an enchanted portal tunnel that would connect from the Island to the Rainforest and to the northern region of the Kingdom of Sand (being used for operations of the Secret Alliance). This would send Stonemover on a journey (as animus magic works differently) that would lead him to traverse through the Kingdom of Sea and Mud Kingdom to get to the Rainforest where he would create the enchantment for the second part of the portal tunnel, continue on his journey through Jade Mountain into the Southern areas of the Kingdom of Sand where he would meet the traveling Sandwing Thorn who would help Stonemover travel up north (the two growing close along their journey). With Stonemover completing the third and final enchantment for the portal tunnel, he would choose to stay with Thorn where they would return back south away from the war (unaware of the conflict ahead).
During their early years together, Stonemover and Thorn would settle into the Scorpion Den to hide away; The two eventually meeting the deserter trio of Six-Claws, Kindle and Dune with the five of them forming a trusting friendship. Eventually Stonemover and Thorn would eventually have an egg, a joyous time that would turn in the days leading up to their egg hatching as Dune would suddenly flee with said egg. Stonemover would take charge after Dune, enchanting a skulk of foxes (bound by memories) in desperation of finding him; Something that would never come to pass as Dune would succeed in escaping. Feeling shamed for his failure and what he has done with his animus magic, Stonemover would put himself into isolation within the caverns of Jade Mountain; Enchanting his scales to turn to stone for all the enchantments he has created, only being kept alive in his now immobilized form by the skulk he enchanted caring for him (being changed by the enchantment and becoming something more).
With Dune, her egg and Stonemover gone, Thorn would go on a desperate search for the three (bearing a growing hatred towards Dune for stealing her egg); Eventually focusing her efforts of finding her lost egg/dragonet, finding help and comfort in her friends Six-Claws and Kindle.
Thorn would eventually joining the newly formed Talons of Power in hopes of having a better chance of finding her dragonet (finding a friend among the Talons in an enchantment using Sandwing named Platyr from the Sky Kingdom). In time, Thorn would form a small group within the Talons, eventually splitting off from the Talons and becoming known as the Outclaws (being joined by Six-Claws in leading and Kindle in healing). Thorn would go on to conquer and somewhat restore the Scorpion Den in the wake of the Talons collapse with her Outclaws, eventually becoming an aunt to Six-Claws and Kindle’s daughter Ostrich. (Thorn would also go on to take one of Platyr’s sons from Cobra a few years after his disappearance, raising them as part of the Outclaws.)
-
Blaze: During the early years of her life, Blaze wouldn’t really be the brightest; Preferring to go out and acquire treasures and odd gems for her own collection like her Big Sis Burn. (Got herself in-trouble at times cause of it, be it from her own foolishness or Blister playing a trick on her.) Blaze wouldn’t really be close to Oasis as a dragonet, instead being closer to her Big Sister Burn who would help care for Blaze after their father’s passing.
With the death of Oasis and Blister enacting war on Burn, Blaze would side with her sister Burn and wanting to help eventually acting as a spokesdragon for her sister who would stick to leading the front lines. To effectively do this Blaze would come to learn about the common folk of the Kingdom of Sand and its politics (not having interest in them before) with help from Princess Glacier who Blaze would grow close to. The two would come together to comfort each other in their grief after fleeing from Burn killing Glacier’s mother, Queen Harp (Glacier taking her mantle as Queen of the Ice Kingdom). Glacier would bear grief for the death of her mother and Blaze would bear grief for the sister she loves becoming a monster.
In the following years, Blaze and Glacier would grow closer to one another, eventually becoming romantic partners as they form the Sand-Ice Alliance with Glacier being the one to mainly lead. (Their relationship wouldn’t be commonly known as Ice Kingdom Queen’s don’t officially take a partner.) Eventually they would have their first daughter Crystal (being both a pure Icewing along with Glacier and Blaze as their biological parents thanks to some old Icewing Animus Gift, same with Snowfall and Mink) and bring with it a joyous event celebrated in Where-Sand-meets-Ice (a Sandwing/Icewing dominant town formed during the War, south of the Great Ice Cliff); said event unfortunately turned sour as it would be ambushed by a group of dragons (formed by the Secret Alliance) lead by Queen Battlewinner in an attempt to kill Blaze and eliminate her from the war. The attack would be pushed back as the Battlewinner’s forces would retreat with her being incapacitated from Ice Breath, though it would not be without loss, nor without impact.
Following her near assassination and Glacier nearly dying to protect her with many other (some less fortunate), Blaze would find the drive to take more of a leading role in the Sand-Ice Alliance; Taking a more direct approach in the war and growing into a dragon the Eye of Onyx would deem worthy of being queen. (Going through a bit of combat training as well for self-defense, not really liking the training but going through it non the less.)
-
Narwhal & Tundra: Hatched around the time of the Sand-Ice Alliance forming, not knowing his mother Harp before she was killed by Burn. Narwhal would be distant from his sister Glacier who would be occupied with ruling the Ice Kingdom and Maintaining the Sand-Ice Alliance. Instead, he would be cared for by his brother Permafrost, learning to live by the beliefs of the Circle Rankings (eventually going on to push those beliefs onto his children), even personally making sure they were kept in order whenever Glacier was occupied elsewhere. Eventually he would meet Tundra who would allure Narwhal and eventually marry him.
Among the Icewings, Tundra would be both one of the more traditional and most disliked; Seeking to take control of the throne so she can return the Ice Kingdom back to what it was before the Succession War. Marrying Narwhal so she can gain a daughter that she could control to usurp Glacier and take the throne, using said daughter to enact her will. Something that wouldn’t come as soon as she wanted with their first hatch being their eldest son Hvitur (an eventual prodigy that would quickly prove himself).
Things would change when they would have a twin egg, hatching their twin sons Icicle with Aurora Ice (Fire Scale variant) and Winter a Ternwing (Twin Egg Subtribe). With Icicle having Aurora Ice, Tundra would have them be raised as a princess to take the throne (Tundra taking to ignoring her eldest) with Winter being neglected and berated by her and Narwhal for being a Ternwing. Something that would take a turn with Hailstorm being captured while taking Winter on a trip to get a scavenger, both Tundra and Narwhal would blame Winter (returning with only a scavenger).
With Hailstorm captured, Narwhal would leave for the front lines of the War with Icicle in hopes of getting him back. Leaving Winter with Tundra who would continue to berate him without end (even destroying one of the limbs of his scavenger as punishment, expecting it to die from its wounds). Only after Glacier would send Winter to act as a herald (messenger) for Blaze would Tundra stop her tormenting her son, choosing to focus on other things with him gone.

The youngers mostly smooth form he likened to a spindly waif with short hazel hair who danced for him then they drank to futures amid burning incense, traded long kisses and going further traced ribs nibbled ears and blew on their belly holes building eachother up.
Finally she gave a wink and nod he dove into her without reserve pulling her legs back even with her head as he reamed her cleft crevice she arched squeezing her soles on his neck in reaction he reached around to her ass gripping it with the resolve of a cliffhanger on the edge.
Cool night air mingled with the warm shroud of fire as utterances between the two in throes of mating seemed to birth a dialect after countless ins and outs broke off and together as one released a generation coating the other in slick love juices, satisfied and drunk began whistling and snapping her sticky fingers as they cleaned up.
The elders fuller marred body told of disease and self healing for naught, braided hazel hair draped around her ears and face from brow to cheek, the rest coiled up serpent style with twigs at the back of the scalp in two heaps, Her shoulders and elbows bore ink of curious shapes.
No warm up just strolled to a secluded stream at sunrise and skin to skin wrestled for top place, he let her, she insisted that he lay still as she rode him like a mount as her breasts slapped his face he sucked them gingerly fanning an ember of submission he immediately snuffed by using her udders to finish him before she stormed off cursing him in her singy melodic tongue as he collected himself and made a hasty exit.
The most bountiful set of breasts he beheld on a trip along the shore of his homeland, this heavy set maroon maned woman from the water sans top asks for help finding it among the rocks and weeds she'd swam near, of course he readily accepted with his skills in tracking and deduction, appeared with the garment promptly to a thankful damsel who thusly pulled down her swimwear to gift a glimpse of her bushy twat, quite a piece of trimmed turf.
With a 'screw me' whisper in her husky voice, offered herself kneeling in the surf, alot of tity flapping later had his cock spurting seed over her cheeks and back before carrying and leaving her spread on a dune wearing nil but a grin ear to ear, forgoing any farewells.
Snapped back to now and found a hand on his junk, down his pants amid his mental musings had undone his belt and got busy waxing his pole.
'I yearn for a woman, whence be the next village?'
First smells of rain and moss and a hint of brine, heard the swish swash of running water, greeting his sight a span of rushing river, over it a log and post arch bridge enough for a single carriage or two riders.
Coming closer into better ear shot the commotion of an argument amid screams drowned in river sounds brought him to attention as the scene unfolded like a festival act and he was the lucky sole witness.
Four figures stood in the midst and seemed to be pushing one of them towards the rail, screaming and shouting intertwined something about a scroll or a troll and lord or order, more concerned at having to deal with them if he wanted to get by unhindered, made an overture to greet the bunch he stepped onto the surely in need of repair construct.
"If it isn't midday whistle til blue, how goes the day for you four fine folk of this land?" A mock accent he picked up.
The lot looked in his direction but due to Joyoro and the hoods worn couldn't tell if they were soldiers or fishers.
"Its a day to be minding ones own affairs and less of asking others theirs." Spoken by the shortest of the four.
A hand over brow provided reprieve he saw more clearly, axes and boiled leather curassis on all but one of them.
"So what's a man to do should his affairs be blocked by someone in pursuit of their own?" He swapped to mournful.
"Give us a fare and then be quick if passage is what ye want," informed a angry feminine voice.
"Well that seems fair." Hand in the cart from a sack seven mint coin, smoothed far too much to see the maker.
"The sea swallowed my fortune and family, now I roam dealing in wares." He said leading Mell forward.
"Get along old man don't come this way on your return trip, don't think about today or talk about it tomorrow."
Now closer the three arrayed in a triangle around the fourth, skin bared nay for a threadbare rouge cloak and one shabby boot, gagged by a cloth with her neck and hands bound with cords, her grey eyes glanced up.
Had nearly passed the lot when he stopped and turned with a balled fist to one of the brigands and held the coin out in open palm at almost the same moment his cart rolled back onto the foot of the leader.
The man who habitually reached to grab the payment as his partner hollered rather girlishly in pain was given a quick right hook that sent him stunned to the logs, hearing the damsels muffled wailing as she struggled with the remaining rogue attempting to throw her from the bridge.
Calmly he patted Mell on the head then he took the axe from the thugs belt and tossed it in the water before walking around the side opposite the pinned leader.
"Not to worry flatfoot I'll get to ya in a minute." Comar walked to the third hoodlum as he grabbed the damsel by her neck and bent her on the rail seconds from flipping her over it.
Deftly pulling off his belt began to lash the bandit who turned his focus as the storm of leather was rained thusly on him, recoil erroneously striking the damsel on the back as well.
He drew his axe Comar ducked the first swipe and parried the second as he landed a hit on the man's face the courage was driven from him then he tried to run but didn't get far as a resounding thwack of the belt sent him tumbling seeing birds.
Amid all this the bellyaching of the lead bandit cut off as the damsel had jumped on their back with her bonds began choking the life out of them.
Comar buckled his belt pried the weapon from the man's grip and tucked it in as he walked towards the two.
Whistled to Mell and the cart rolled forward just as the damsel was flipped into it and carried away.
"Bastard, who the fuck are you?" The sole bandit with a busted right foot and out of breath rasped.
"I'm Infallible, drop those weapons, you'll soon be on your knees in a moment." Comar duly stated with a grin.
"Oh really, you bald fat ass munch!" In a single fluid motion drew her axes to throw.
Seeing the look in her eyes the way hurt prey sees the jaws of death, looking beyond her noted Mell with the cart then noticed the lady noticed his eyes and in hers made a deadly change of target.
"Fuck your shit, vexslut spawn." She cursed and spat.
Her rear was to him before he got in fist or foot range at his pace she darted to evade the hit she saw coming.
Comar didn't bother to close the gap with her nearly reaching the end of the bridge so he made a decision.
Chucked his whittled shoe with accurate aim nailed her in the butt and slowing down the next hit the back of her head, sent sprawling to the railings one axe slipped her grasp the other wretched from her hand by a caught up Comar, sliding down the post turned to face him, spat and cursed before looking up to speak.
"What you gonna do with me, you 'cough' bald asscrack." She mocked with a slight hint of dread.
"Strip or the belt, you choose which or I do both." He replied.
"I've had worse, far worse than that, you know nothing of pain." She drooled on Comars left foot.
Pulling back her hood at the nape he recoiled mentally at the scars, potmarks, scabs, cuts and burns all over her discolored face and neck, mushed nose, behind cracked dry lips a mouth of crooked teeth, vacant pale blue eyes, a thicket of dusty twisted blond locks around her long thin arrowhead ears in knots, part Fae?
"Ha, you can't even--" deftly he foot checked her back against the rail post and she went out like a torch in rain.
Checking both over for concealed weaponry, removed their leather armor and tied them together by their wrists to the post putting the rope they intended to hang the damsel from the bridge with to better use.
Stripping the green trousers off one man the beige spun undershirt off the second man and the leather boots and surprisingly in good repair brown stockings off the woman, left them the coin, fair trade, if they woke before the next traveler passed.
Mell was grazing through reeds, damsel was still out and undressed so he removed the gag, tossed the cloths over her nearly nude body and kept walking the road with a slightly quicker pace then before to get settled before dark.
-------
Before Horra rose he made camp in a small tree copse near a water hole prepped for an ambush Comar set his watertight cover up over Mell, placed a comfy rug under the cart with the damsel and posted himself under the thick canopy of a tree, one tripline around them with chimes, heavy enough to avoid critters and wind.
Soon the mind waned and eyes started to wax, lest he forget a quick yank envisioned his wished for woman, sturdy pursed lips unveiling pristine teeth, deep set eyes below them a prominent nose, above them thin brows, big ears amid waist length hair or bald but for a stalk of braid at the top, a handhold if it be possible.
Short angular feet and long splayed toes with painted nails, legs thin and toned with a inked serpent coiling up to enter its burrow, knob knees bent, muscled midriff and firm rump, hands of a potter with long fingers, arms thick and lightly fuzzed, coppablly perky breasts framed with feminine shoulders.
Her garb nothing more then that with which to maintain modesty of personal parts, be it her proclivity, hot places require little covering.
A more appealing thought was twins like he once had, can't go wrong with double hands, mouths and vales to make use of on demand, feet too.
Drifting betwixt a plain rock beginning to be carved and a fired clay effigy taking clearer form, a feminine pair of glowing hands not his own reached for his trousers easing them down and took hold of his thick malehood, two dozen tugs got him to burst all over the floating limbs and his own legs, who beckoned then led him to a pond with reeds for privacy began to bath him, splashing him and working his bag and shaft while pinching his cheeks, rinsing and repeating until a thin pale face contentedly smack its coated lips along with the hands sink into the water without a ripple.
Yet he wanted more, he deserved more, he dove into the water searching for the helpful hands, ripping the bed of weeds and stirring mud up, aware his need for breath pushed up to get some, a unseen thing held him down as the water thickened with dirt blurred his sight, what was happening to him? 'breath or else die, do it right now!'
As he inhaled the feeling of floating and sinking at the same time overcame his lungs begging for air nearly broke the surface before his vision blanked.
His ears picked up a melding of natural and woodwind sounds, his nose picked up sweet smells, his eyes opened to redness and blurry focus turning into a shapely set of pearly pinkish cheeks pushed into a brown thong straddling pink sole arched feet ending in curled toes color blue nails arms length from him, Comar was leaning against a tree on his side sat up and felt his pants and vest, dry and cleansed.
The mysterious minstrel continued to play with more hip and head moves while adding a slight bounce of toned tushy on its haunches and feet flexing with the tune as Comar saw the back bone move under the pale skin, along it shiny (glyphs/signs/puzzles/scars.) ran up to a quiver sheath and straps crossing under and over her shoulders partly hidden by blue braids that swayed and swung with each twist of movement, the neck hidden in a thin curtain of blue topped by a portion fashioned like wings tipped in yellow, but most rousing of all the dirk shaped ears jutting out and behind her hairdue.
Comar slowly rose to his knees then with one quick motion on his feet to brawl if that outcome be likely, it was not in his better judgement to assume this person was passive without some trick as a fallback, without question.
Looking about, his tripline lay untouched and the cart in place but the damsel was gone, the cover was most certainly empty, Mell was up someplace grazing outside the camp, he couldn't have eluded the line without help, should it be after his beast, why stick around to wake him?
First he noted over head a small circle of bugs hovered one way with a smaller circle above going the other.
"Hey bard what's your aim waking me up with that noise, did your music or scent get them to follow you here?"
The song stopped and the bugs scattered with some fuss, unfazed and maybe partly able to understand sat up she took her right hand itched her right butt cheek then in a blink was on her feet facing him, nodded and waved in greeting.
Her chest bared skin but four thin stripes across her milkbags, all met at a ring jeweled with stones that glitered, wrapped on her right arm a creatures hide of sorts and her left arm a mark, gray eyes quizzical and inquisitive, brows like they were etched on, plum nose bearing a pale blue dot on the left and lips curled in a knowing grin.
"Devi sosk lix mor--I'm just rutting with you, I can't recall my birth tongue, short memory, that kind of thing."
'Maybe her friends are nearby or she's single, no weapons so she must be relying on some backup.'
"What breed of Fae are you, what are you doing in my camp and what's your name, if you still remember it."
"Faecist much, I'm here to make harmonious cheer, not of any breeds you care to say!"
She leaped in mid air to poignantly land standing on her hands while flexibly posing her legs in nearly any configuring in the mind, walking on her palms ducked into a roll and popped up again on her knees.
"As of thy last question, I'm Phay and I greet the morn light with a song or a tune, this is my way." Phay informed.
"You think waking others up with your humbug is well mannered, what's the meaning of it?" Comar stated.
Her stance changed as she looked at the dirt and admitted "Know I must, or mist and misery will come."
Without a word Comar turned and began drawing in his trip lines to break camp, food would have to wait until later.
Ignoring his half a mind to give her butt a thrashing for unwanted rousing, Whistled for Mell while folding up the watertight cover on his cart, she didn't move or say a thing as he did this but felt her eyes all over him.
Mell hitched and camp broken taking his leave for the road was soon lost in his musing of the time he dug for rumored lost treasure for one Murra on this dried lake, nearly went mad as his partner in the effort, a high born learned woman called Nysia, kept whinging that he was doing it wrong and would tempt him with her pudgy form but became offended if he moved to act on it, after a particularly long and nasty diatribe he saw a chance to shut her mouth for good, he drank his water ration and hid the remaining leaving her one choice, clam up or go thirsty, she stripped bare to stay cool as her threats were met with mirth, eventually she accepted the terms stayed quiet as they dug in return was given water, after which one near self burial led her giving up and they parted with nothing but some hard words and some holes left as reward.
"Hey big bald baby face, what's your name and race, If I guess them in your company I'll quest then!" Phay insisted.
"Leave me Fae sprite I walk in company with none, my name and people are not in the tongue of any but mine."
"Your skin glosses like a roast, thy name ye refuse to boast, I'll wager you are of the coast and Joyoros host."
She was getting warmer and naturally more annoying so he began to whistle a tune rather loudly with gusto.
At this point the road came into view as daylight grew brighter and his stomach grumbled, looked and pulled out.
Phay's steps matched Comar's as his frustration and irritation swelled, of all the ill's endured this was peak idiocy.
enough with the Chora Chit Chat
"N-no please no, have my mouth instead, I've more practice with it, my vale and bum are unspoilt by choice."
His father had personally slain or captured three dozen favoured and sold them to witchbreakers, in fairness they were making various plots and schemes to destroy stuff and refused to quit streaking by moonlight.

👫 - this but sibs edition because it is a need heather/camden, amber/laney, keira/jess, skye/thomas/athena, ava/keily/nadia, maeve/leo, bellamy/rory, the queen family(yes just as a unit), the bennetts (yes also as a unit)
under the cut, along w/ my heart and my tears 🥰 also forgive me, some have more than others but they aLL own my soul
heather & camden
despite having a almost 10 year age gap (bc heather and steph have an 11 yr gap), they're super close and always have been. like when camden learned how to walk, he'd constantly follow heather around. i also think he'd do this when he crawled, but i'm pretty sure his first steps were to go to heather.
i know they facetime at least once a week. he knows all the tea in heather's life, and she knows all the tea in his life.
there's no real reason for this, i just thought of it, but i feel like he came out to heather first. casually. like he didn't really know he was coming out, bc i feel like he was five or six and just casually saying he liked a boy, but it counts!
ngl, heather is truly the only one who can calm him down, even when he was a kid. he's so fricken hyper, and i feel like she always knew how to make him sit still.
amber & laney
1. amber is almost five minutes younger than laney, due to complications in her birth. despite that, amber is the most social and extraverted.
laney is the most organized. like i see her books being either in roygbiv order, or alphabetized, OR by genre and author. meanwhile, amber is a hot mess. room always trashed, magazing collages, collages of photos with her friends surrounded in faerie lights. like amber knows no organization, but laney? i see her room clean as fuck.
i see amber being more sporty. like i feel like she did cheerleading, gymnastics, volleyball, and skiing. i see her being able to snowboard, too. like okay, the queens doing ski trips and laney sits in the chalet drinking coco and reading a book. this is a spitball idea, bc i think you told me laney didn’t last very long in cheering, but i see amber being kind of like camden and needing outlets for energy.
amber is the bossiest. not just of the twins, but of all the queens. she even bosses around heather. i think laney probably resents this bc she’s very quiet and meanwhile amber bowls her over to get her way.
amber is ariel obsessed bc red head, meanwhile i see laney loving jessie. laney can be a disney princess girlie, but she feels v much lke either a merida or a jessie. correct me if i’m wrong!
keira & jess
jess is the eldest twin, but also the messiest.
this bleeds into the bennett’s hc but it feels weird to put it below, i def think the twins had bunk beds, and i definitely think they shared their room with rue who had a small twin.
i feel like they all share the master bedroom, which means they have an ensuite, and keira probably constantly screamed at jess (and rue) because they kept it a mess.
i feel like they had the same everything - hairstyles, clothes, you name it but keira got pink and jess got blue.
i feel like all the kids did dance growing up, but jess hated it and cece put her in soccer bc it was free and jess was naturally good at it, and eventually keira did cheer because it was free.
the twins are incredibly close. like while they don’t live with one another anymore, they constantly talk and facetime and text one another.
i don’t see keira resenting bellamy, but i wanna discuss this further.
i see them constantly making blanket forts. idk why. i just see their room always having one, especially as little kids.
skye/thomas/athena
i 100% believe skye and athena sharing a room caused 100% of their issues. anyways, i feel like the walsh dad tried to get skye to get rid of her pet hamster and she told him to pound sand.
thomas and skye are really close, i think because he kind of gets it, but also he’s not around her all the time so it’s easier for her to get along with him.
i feel like, regardless, both thomas and athena get skye’s struggle with their family and their dad and i feel like once they all become friends they get a matching tattoo (with karly).
i feel like thomas embraced nyc crew in hs before athena, however, i think athena/evie/dylan/lena became fast friends.
regardless, i feel like all three of them struggled with being non-white outsiders entering this group, even skye, despite her being friends with jer, steph, and camden and knowing these people, it was just a new experience.
this is bonus, but i feel like camden and thomas were on the football team together.
ava/keily/nadia
i feel like ava and nadia are the closest.
keily is definitely the lilo to their nani. keily is weird, and i think they find the shit she does interesting, but confusing.
they all worked in their family’s restaurant from the time they were four to now, and i think all three of them can fish and drive a boat, and most importantly: cook.
they were the first in their family to go to college, but also the first to graduate high school.
they’re all close with maeve and leo, and i feel like leo would fight for all three of them. they’re family. think bennetts and andersons, except they’re all poor people.
maeve/leo
maeve is roughly 3-4 years older than leo, and basically had to raise him because their parents were too strung out to do shit for either of them. not maeve changing baby leo and feeding him as a fucking toddler, but that’s how it was.
i feel like leo was shorter than maeve until he was about 14, and then he began to sprout like a weed and hasn’t let maeve forget it since.
i feel like without the washingtons, maeve would’ve lost leo. hear me out, i feel like she waitressed at their place when she was fourteen, so she could have leo if needed, and mr washinton would take him out on the fishing boats or have him do some small job (like cupping sauces, or learning to cook) and maeve also had him in free after school programs, like sports or surfing.
despite the best efforts of the washingtons, maeve didn’t go to college. mostly because of money, but also not wanting to leave leo. she did, however, save a lot of money for leo in case something happened or he wanted to go to college, so she gave him a big ass check when he graduated hs. (he probably didn’t accept it, but it is always there for him just in case, bc i don’t think she stopped adding to it).
bonus: i feel like keily and leo became friends because, despite being older than her, she’d keep him company and put him to work.
bellamy/rory
rory thinks of bellamy as her mother, first and foremost, even now that she has a mother to call her own who is an adult.
rory and bellamy dress very conservatively, because i cant not see bellamy dressing like leighton and rory dressing like lexie from little fires everywhere.
i feel like jess is like rory’s second mother. like obviously, mama cece is their actual mom and the bennetts are their family, but jess and bellamy are her mothers, fight me.
rory definitely ships jess and bellamy, but will love their girlfriends regardless.
i feel like until she was almost ten, rory had to sleep with bellamy to keep the nightmares away, because she’d dream of their real parents as shadow creatures hurting her and bellamy always made her feel safe.
the queens
heather was an accident. wanted, but bella and peter were young when they had her and by the time bella graduated she was pregnant with the twins.
peter and bella met young. like i see them knowing each other since preschool and it was always like a potential thing that they would, but he was the captain of the football team, she was head cheerleader and it was just inevitable.
laney and camden are probably closer than camden and heather, and they’ve lived together the longest. despite steph and amber share his energy, i think camden is drawn to calm people. like he’ll read his comics with her, or she’ll sit and read while he plays his video games and i just see them really really understanding one another.
amber is the bossiest of the queens. i’d argue that amber is probably the most spoiled, but i think it’s more of she asks for what she wants and 9 times out of 10 gets it because it’s reasonable. but i think it’s more amber is vocal and reasonable and peter/bella are like fair, but no one really begrudges her. amber’s a natural born leader, imo, and i feel like she has grown to have a good head on her shoulders.
bella and peter use gentle parenting, which i think they had these kids cooking by 18 months, except for heather bc i think they just didn’t think of it (but still used gentle parenting on her), and i think all the kids felt safe to feel their emotions - especially camden, who they allowed to cry and didn’t boy-shame him - and see cooking and cleaning as second nature.
they have a tree house, and the twins and camden built it together, steph was involved, but she was a baby-baby so she mostly watched in her baby swing with bella (who also helped). and i know they had a cool jungle gym, and a sandbox, and play houses.
going off of the above, i see them having a huge as fuck backyard. like bella has a flowerbed and they keep the playhouses by them (like i see laney, steph, and amber have them) and they also used the garden shed to play in. i see peter growing fruits and veg and herbs, and then a small hill and trees, and a patio w/ fire pit and a deck. like idk man, i see their house being cool af.
also, do i see their home having a grand staircase, potentially looking like the house in cheaper by the dozen with the open balcony thing and chandelier? yeah.
do i think camden had the attic bedroom? yes.
laney and amber have their own room, but with connecting closet, and it’s organized bc laney and amber respects laney enough to keep her half clean. also, do i see them having a tiny chaise lounge chair in it? yeah.
i also see steph having a window seat, and i see her room lowkey looking like bella’s in bella in the bulldogs. but you know, more pink.
camden and amber definitely tried to make steph walk before she was ready, but probably began crawling sooner than she would’ve because of them.
steph’s first word was definitely “dada” and she def walked to him first.
i think they go to disney 1-2 times a year.
and last but not least, their basement is lit. hockey rink, tv space, probably arcade games because i can see peter wanting pinball and pacman.
they’re the rich weasleys, we do not care!
the bennetts
i see them as lower middle class and always have. like all the kids got scholarships, and probably have student loans, which sucks. i think cece kept them afloat after their dad died, but it was hard because she had seven kids and i see her as a midwife. so she makes money, but not that much.
their house is probably small. i see it as a tiny two story with four rooms and i think rae and karissa shared a room and cece had the closed off dining room and freddie had a small small room, and i feel like all their toys are from cheap stores, or from thrift stores or garage sales. like i think the only new new things the kids get is clothes.
freddie was the only one into fashion in the family.
i think the dad died in a car accident, like hit by a drunk driver type of thing - wickedly unexpected.
i feel like mama cece has a gf now (and it’s totally not the lady who plays stef. nope. not at all.)

Tanya peers intently at Noah. "I believe Noah came into the Sand Bar this week. I work there part time."
He nods "I did – we came for lunch."
"And didn't we see you at the bonfire the other night?" It was at the end of a long day, but Chelsea remembers it well.
"Yes! It was dark but I recognize you. We talked."
"Yes. Imagine if our paths kept crossing and we never found out we were related!" What a strange coincidence, Chelsea thinks.
"So, you're having a good time?"
"Yes, this is a perfect spot for spring break."
"Where are the kids?"
Chelsea laughs. "Back at the house. We didn't want to overwhelm you."
"Whelm me! Whelm me!" Tanya jokes. "I want to meet my cousins – tell me about them."
"We have my six youngest with us. Dee, Jackie, and Veronica are teens. Dee is the oldest. Then there are the twins, Bebe and Beatrix. We usually call her Trix. And the baby, Joey. Well, he's not a baby anymore."
Tanya looks dubious. "Your six youngest – how many do you have?"
"Twenty six."
"Wow!"
"Well, you know I come from a big family."
"Dad told me stories."
"And how about you?" Chelsea is used to this kind of reaction but she's glad to give up the spotlight.
"I have two, but they're mostly out of the house. My daughter is at Foxbury so she's home occasionally. My son is in Mt. Komorebi with his father. We're divorced. Otherwise, it's just me and Georgie."
"He's a beautiful dog," Noah puts in.
"She looks fierce – that's kind of nice to have, living out here at the end of a sandbar on my own, but she's really a cupcake. We always had dogs growing up. Dad loved them."
"I heard the first thing he and Truman did after moving out was to get a dog, a little yellow dog called Cashew or Peanut or something like that. They would bring him to visit. We never had any pets. I think they were just too much for my mom to take care of."
"Cashew! There's a picture of him in the house. Uncle Tru wouldn't speak to Dad for years because he brought the dog with him when he moved. Tru thought it was his dog but that's the way he was. Tell me about them – what do you know?"
"Mom ADORED your dad."
"He always talked about her to us."
"I honestly think he was her favorite. She always brightened up when he was around. Your dad and Truman were quite a bit older than me. They were already out of the house when I was born, but they were always there for family parties before our mother died. *sigh* I remember, your dad offered to take me in after she was gone – wouldn't that have been something?!"
"What did you do?" Tanya asks, worry in her voice.
"We stayed in the house. All the sibs would come home to help. At some point, our older brother became our legal guardian. After I became a young adult, he moved to Mt. Komorebi though his twin lived near us for a long time." Chelsea turns to Noah who has been quietly listening. "Noah, I don't know if you ever met Kestrel?"
"I don't think so."
She laughs. "Yes, she washed her hands of me when I moved to Oasis Springs, but she did get the family home because of it." Chelsea turns back to Tanya. "If you ever get to Brindleton Bay, you should stop by and see it. My daughter May lives there now – she'd love to meet you."
"I will!" Tanya promises. "Hey, let's go sit on the deck. I'd love to show you the view."
They follow the porch which wraps around the house.
"This is truly paradise," Chelsea says quietly. "Did you live here with your dad?"
"No, I bought this place after my divorce. We moved around quite a bit with Dad." They all sit and Tanya shares her story. " We lived on various islands and even in Ohan'ali Town for a bit, but when I was little, we lived on a houseboat."
"What an adventure! Do you have siblings?"
"One brother. He runs a resort on the big island."
"And what about your mother?"
"She's from an old Sulani family. They met when Dad was on vacation here. She traveled for business and she visited him a lot until she won him over, though he thought he was winning her over."
They laugh. Georgie notices and comes to see what the sims are up to. Noah excuses himself to visit with her.
"Mom was a Hoapili, distantly related to the old chieftain," Tanya continues. "I think you're staying in the old chieftain's house."
"What happened to the old chieftain?"
Tanya smiles. "Oh, she's in a new house out around Mua Pel'am, don't worry!"
"Oh, alright then."
"We should probably get going," Noah says. "We have plans in the afternoon."
They walk back to the front of the house together and hug at the gate.
"Let's try to get together again before we go," Chelsea says. "You can meet the kids, maybe a couple at a time."
Tanya laughs. "I'll stop by the house when I'm in Ohan'ali Town if I can. Otherwise, bring them out to swim again.
"That sounds lovely!"

Pyrrhian Tribe Headcanons (reposted from Devientart)
Basically, I remembered I posted these on Devientart a WHILE ago. So, I decided, heck, why not repost them? Be warned I was really fucking cringy writing these. 😬
SkyWings
-Their wings are fReAkiNg HuGe
-There are more red SkyWings than orange ones
-Out of all the tribes, they have the worst hoarding habits (they love their gems)
-Despite having such huge wings, they're not very agile in close combat, their wings get in the way
-Large wings are a sign of beauty I guess
-They're the tallest tribes, because they have reaaaally long necks
-Only SkyWing mothers raise their dragonets
-SkyWings LOVE battle, they spend a lot of free time training for one, even if they're not actually in a war
-They're grumpy dragons who hate the world, though they have been known to lighten up
-They really don't like IceWings all that much, even though the two tribes hardly see each other
-Fire-scales' twins are fire-proof
MudWings
-They maaay not look the most advanced, but are actually pretty smart
-I always thought that all MudWings were aromantic, but maybe demiromantic? Idk
-They're big! Not the tallest, but definitely the broadest tribe
-Sib groups often have rivalry with other groups, and MudWings don't really get along with each other that well except with their own siblings
-MudWings that leave their sib group or live by themselves are looked down upon by other MudWings
-Young MudWings like to paint. With mud. Idk
-Dreadful fliers, tbh
-Really good fighters, though
-They have webbed claws, though it's less noticeable than SeaWing webs
-The blood-red egg thing came from a fire-scales' twin having eggs with a MudWing
SeaWings
-They're some SeaWings who have lived underwater their entire lives, and can't actually speak Dragon
-They're sHort--like second-smallest tribe short
-I always thought they wouldn't be great fighters, they have their t h i c c tail, and that's about it?
-Hybrid SeaWings that have gills often have trouble breathing underwater because of scales that grow over the gills
-Horrible with their animuses, SeaWings are known for abusing theirs
-Stocky--they're stocky
-They make really good great sushi--
-Short wings, help them navigate the ocean
IceWings
-I like to think they can have spikes on their head, jaw, and sometimes the underside of their neck
-Spike styles are hereditary, if two IceWings with swoopy upward spikes have eggs, the dragonets with probably have have swoopy upward spikes as well
-Full IceWing "beards" are rare, but known to happen
-Smooth, clean scales are considered beautiful to IceWings, patterns on your scales (ex. spots) downgrade your beauty in IceWings' eyes
-IceWings are a tall, lean tribe, and their tails are among the longer types
-Honestly, yes, the royals are INSANE, but lower-class IceWings aren't actually all that bad (though they still think they're better than everyone)
-IceWings practice for battle as much as SkyWings do, they hate not being prepared
-They're secretly jealous of other tribes' fire, but will insist their frostbreath is so much better
-IceWings hAte NightWings, but they hate SandWings as well, because they're too rowdy and undignified, and hate SkyWings because they're just so extra (go figure)
-They very carefully organize their jewelry when they wear some
-SkyWings have the best long-distance flight, but IceWings are close behind! They have large wings to fly over the tundra, and are a bit better at close combat in the air since they have smaller wings
-Large talons? Well, IceWings have them...their feet especially stick out since the rest of them are so thin, and they use these talons for walking around in the snow
-They love makeup, especially long eyeliner, and it's worn by both boys and girls because I need an excuse to draw them with long eyelashes OK--
SandWings
-They have the least organized kingdom--it's kinda a mess
-SandWings are a generally poor tribe, so it raises a few brows when you realize they had such a huge treasury
-It's uncommon to find SandWings without any sort of marking on them, especially spots
-They have a similar height and wingspan to IceWings
-The cactus juice that heals SandWing venom was enchanted by Jerboa 1
-There's a lot of bars in the Sand Kingdom. Just is
-SandWings first came up with "The Dragonets are Coming!" song
-SkyWings may be the biggest hoarders, but SandWings are the most kleptomaniac
-They have a really rough singing voice that no one really likes except other SandWings
RainWings
-They're the shortest tribe
-They also have the shortest wingspan out of any of the tribes
-No, I don't think they have a "default color" they go back to when they don't feel strongly one way or another
-Back when they were cool and stuff they were actually quite rich from trading with other tribes for brightly colored feathers and furs
-Their fangs grow longer with age, and sharper
-Their tongues flick in and out when they're thinking, this trait is shared with SandWings
NightWings
-A pretty chunky, short tribe (basically the opposite of IceWings)
-They're really skinny now though because...yeah
-Glossy scales are bootiful to NightWings
-Their fire is mostly just smoke
-I really don't think mind-reading and prophecy would help with close combat...When someone's trying to rip out your throat, do you really have time to read their mind/tell the future?
-Nowadays, NightWings are pretty heat resistant, from living in a freaking volcano for so long
-Average size wings...just...eh
My Headcanon for Shortest to Tallest Tribe:
-RainWings
-SeaWings
-NightWings
-MudWings
-IceWings/SandWings
-SkyWings
My Headcanon for Smallest to Longest Wingspan:
-RainWings
-SeaWings
-MudWings
-NightWings
-IceWings
-SandWings
-SkyWings

20 First Lines
I got tagged by @novantinuum to do this, and it seemed pretty fun!
Rules: List the first lines of your last 20 stories. See if there are any patterns. Choose your favorite opening line. Then tag 10 authors!
I won’t be tagging anyone else bc I’m too lazy, but if you wanna do it, feel free to do so and claim that I tagged you lol. So, here’s the first lines of my 20 last posted writes, from most recent to oldest.
Honestly, I thought more first lines would just be dialogue. That’s one of my go-to’s. And I swear, I’m not opposed to titling my writes. I like titling them. I’m just...really bad at coming up with titles.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
1. A Kiss From a Nixie
Stan and Angie stared silently at each other. Angie suddenly turned beet red.
2. Stan Falls in Love With a Frog
Stan sat on the edge of the dock, looking out over the water of Lake Gravity Falls. In the fading light, mist curled above the lake surface. He sighed and reeled his fishing line back in.
3. Untitled Superhero/villain AU prompt
Angie walked into HQ, nerves fluttering in her stomach. Despite being a villain for a couple years now, she had yet to come into work alone. But Lute was currently next to the toilet in their house, occasionally throwing up. She headed for the secretary to pick up her assignment for the day. The secretary looked up and raised an eyebrow.
4. Untitled Angie and her sibs prompt
“Ooh, cookies!” Violynn looked down. Her youngest sibling, six-year-old Banjey, stood by her side, staring with wide eyes at the tray of cookies Violynn had just finished.
5. Untitled Best Revenge AU prompt
Angie’s alarm went off. She groaned loudly.
6. Untitled Smallville AU ficlet
Stan and Ford walked down the dirt road that led to the McGucket Farm. Lute had called that morning to let them know that his twin sister had come back from boarding school and was settled in enough for visitors.
7. Untitled Restaurant AU prompt
Angie waited by the entrance of her apartment complex. Stan had followed her in his red El Diablo, but since he didn’t have a parking spot like her, he had to park a couple blocks away. He walked up, visibly winded. She raised an eyebrow.
8. Closure?
Max waited patiently in the back of the classroom for the kindergarten teacher to introduce him. One of his favorite things about being a hero was coming to school classes to tell them about what he did. And kindergarteners were always the best audiences. Their wide-eyed enthusiasm was infectious.
9. Skins and Stones
“We’re gonna need to dig out Junior’s child leash for Emory,” Stan said to Angie. He, Angie, and the kids were at the park, enjoying some fresh air and letting the oldest three run off their extra energy. Angie looked over at Emory, who, along with his twin Emmett, was a few months old. She raised an eyebrow.
10. Finally, Some Ford Content
Ford slowly woke up.
11. Untitled Best Revenge AU ficlet
Junior babbled excitedly at Stan as he went over the results of their latest hit.
12. Masks
Angie and Max sat high up in one of the tallest trees in the apple orchard. It was the only place on the McGucket farm with some semblance of privacy.
13. Junior
The front door slammed open. Angie stormed into the living room, where Lute and Stan were waiting for her to come back. After finding out Max had cheated on her, she had immediately gone over to trash his place.
14. Untitled Best Revenge AU ficlet
Max let out a heavy sigh as he stared at the canned vegetables.
15. Best Revenge
Max took a deep breath. He got out of his car and slowly walked up to Lute’s house.
16. Untitled Spy AU prompt
Ford took a drink from his glass of water. His hands were shaking with anxiety.
17. Origins
Stan fell flat on his face into the sand.
18. Untangling
Stan and Angie followed the McGuckets into the living room. Mrs. McGucket looked around the room with a slight grimace.
19. Untitled Restaurant AU prompt
“I still think it was a mistake to not be open later ‘n usual,” Angie said as she wiped down a table. “If we stayed open until, say, midnight instead of the usual closin’ time of eight, we could’ve catered to couples lookin’ fer a place to have Valentine’s dinner.”
20. Untitled Angenie AU prompt
“But her aim is gettin’ better!” Stan said jovially to the oil lamp carefully buckled in the passenger seat. Soft chuckling came from said oil lamp. Stan grinned, glad the joke had landed. “Y’know, not enough people appreciate my sense of humor.”
#what is a first line? apparently to me it is the first paragraph#also lsjkdnnjdfs you can really tell how I tend to go through phases of focusing on one AU#when all of my writes are listed out like this#tag meme#speecher speaks

The Hyuuga Clan: what not to do
So I promised a separate post on the Hyuuga Clan plotline after I wrapped up the Chuunin Exam arc, and as promised, here it is. It’s been a long time coming, so let’s get started, shall we?
To recap the Hyuuga Clan plotline, the whole thing starts when Neji and Hinata, previously introduced separately earlier in the Chuunin exam arc, face each other in the preliminaries. It’s an unpleasant, vitriolic match: Neji brutalizes his cousin in the course of their fight, and comes damn close to killing her. The only reason Hinata doesn’t die right then and there is due to the intervention of the Leaf jounin-instructors. Fandom often attributes this to Naruto’s support, but I would argue that’s unfair to Hinata; in one of the few self-motivated acts she does, she tells Neji he’s wrong about her, about the world, and most importantly, himself—which enrages him to the point of going for a killing blow.
Anyway, Neji is thoroughly unlikeable, and Naruto swears he’ll cut the other kid down to size during his match with other boy. Blah blah blah, take a month-long break, time to fight. As becomes usual for Naruto’s villain face-offs, they fight and Neji monologues: he explains why he’s so angry at Hinata (and the Main House) even though they’re family. Essentially, the Branch house of the Hyuuga all have a seal on their forehead that destroys their eyes upon death, ensuring their valuable bloodline limit can't be stolen. That actually sounds really cool except for one thing: it's also used as a method of brutal control by the Main House, who have the ability and knowledge to manipulate the seal's destructive capacity to inflict agonizing pain on those who bear it. Moreover, Hinata and Neji aren't just people from the same clan—they're actually first cousins—and considering their respective fathers are identical twins, you could make a very strong case for them being closer to half-siblings than anything else.
Neji is angry for two reasons, one abstract and one personal. The abstract reason is this: Neji is a gifted prodigy in his clan's techniques, but because he's part of the Branch House, he's unable to get the training and, yes, recognition he deserves as a Gentle Fist prodigy. Hinata is only average in the abilities the Hyuuga value—namely having advanced control over her bloodline and the combat skills to go with it—and if Neji's father had been born first instead of her own, their lives would be unimaginably different. The personal reason is that ten years ago, Neji's father was sacrificed to appease some politically powerful bloodline thieves, who attempted to kidnap Hinata, presumably because she was young, had a good pedigree, and also had a womb. Long story short, Naruto beats Neji up and tells him to "cheer up emo kid!". The story doesn't end until Neji reaches some kind of catharsis with his uncle, Hinata's father, and decides he too will live free like a bird, blah blah blah. Yay! Story concluded, right?
Fandom didn't think so, and rightly so! Konoha is revealed to have a large, politically powerful clan that is essentially enslaving a least half (and perhaps more) of their own population, and using it for unspeakable reasons. Leaving aside Neji's sort of weaksauce resolution, Hinata, meek and unmartial, has a younger sister who is strong in all the ways she isn't; Just like with her father and his brother, will she have to brand her younger sister to maintain the right of absolute primogeniture?
And make no mistake, that is the real issue at the heart of the Hyuuga clan. Everything else is just window dressing. Even ignoring the stupidity of the Hyuuga sacrifice—Really, Sarutobi? Really?! —the Hyuuga story always had more holes in it than good swiss cheese. As I mentioned in my re-read summary post for volumes 11-13, the combination of "sealing most of the family" and also "preventing the sealed kin from learning the full extent of the Gentle Fist" only makes sense if the Hyuuga were alone in the wilderness, but in a village setting where the vast majority of sealed Hyuuga are supporting village operations, it sounds like a bad deal for the Leaf, since they're only getting half-trained soldiers in return for allowing the Hyuuga to live within their walls. The entire purpose of Neji's story is just a clumsy way to highlight the injustice of absolute primogeniture as a method of both advancement, inheritance, and simple justice in traditional society.
I don't think it's an exaggeration that the "Clan Hyuuga eats its children" genre of stories was one of the more popular family-centered tropes in fanfiction in the pre-Shippuden era. The sand sibs and Uchiha brothers might have had more written about them, but not by much. How Hinata, Neji, and Naruto would grapple with the Hyuuga Clan's outdated social norms was the focus of a lot of stories and there was a lot of expectation about how Kishimoto was going to resolve this issue in part 2. Now that Naruto has come to an end, we can all throw up a little in our mouths, because it's clear Kishimoto thought he already had.
Any of Hinata's character growth in part two comes from her relationship to Naruto; Neji dies sacrificing himself for her and Naruto, which seems damn empty given that we never see the cousins reconcile or really interact all that much. Hanabi is a non-entity. The Hyuuga Clan, as of Chapter 700, is still presumably sealing and oppressing the majority of its members. The only way to understand this extremely unsatisfactory turn of events is to see it as an intersection of two unpleasant trends in Naruto: women are always secondary to men in terms of character development and plot importance, and villainous motivations are tailor-made to whatever the hell sort of lesson Naruto is supposed to impart to them as the hero of this story.
Women, in Naruto, are almost always secondary to the men they are related and associated with. Mito only shows up in context of her husband, never mind that she was apparently a master in her own right; like Sakura's relationship to Naruto and Sasuke, even the relationship between a man and his wife is secondary to the strong bond between her husband and Madara, his "best friend". Kushina, again, was another cool character who could have been very interesting...except that she was immediately subordinated to her husband's plot, and then later her son's. Kurenai's griefs and plots are centered around Asuma and Shikamaru; Sakura had the glimmerings of her own story, but it was always shoved aside for the Naruto and Sasuke thing. Rin is probably the worst example; she literally only exists to traumatize Obito and Kakashi with her death. Hinata is just another character in that tradition.
For the sake of argument, separate Hyuuga Hinata, clan heir from Hinata, Naruto's love interest. Just pretend there are two girls with that given name in Naruto—actually, let's make it even easier. Hinata the girl is Naruto's love interest; Hinata the clan heir is a boy. Hinata the boy isn't a bad person, but he's shy, meek, unassuming, and not very good at combat. He is a constant disappointment to his father, who wanted a child much like Hinata's cousin, who is everything Hinata isn't: strong, capable, and ruthless. In a different world, his cousin Neji would be clan heir—except their family practices absolute primogeniture as a method of inheritance. Neji's father is younger than Hinata's father and was thus forced into the lesser branch family and blocked from ever inheriting. Hinata has a younger brother, as well, who is also better than Hinata in all the ways that matter to their family, and one day, Hinata will have to brand his younger brother and cast him aside, all to uphold their tradition. Hinata is despised by his cousin (and maybe his brother) because they both know they are better than him, but because of their family's stupid rules, they are forever subordinate to the lesser. But Hinata has his own skills: in a family with eyes that see nearly everything, save for one specific blind spot, Hinata has the gift of seeing just what they lack. Can Hinata find a way to prove that might does not make one right? Can he show that it's not strength of arms that makes a good leader? Can he find a way to unite his broken family, and right the injustice they have perpetuated among themselves?
That's an interesting story, isn't it? But Kishimoto wasn't really interested in writing a story about why absolute primogeniture is stupid; he wasn't interested in writing a story about what makes a good leader and how to grow up to be a just one, either. Hyuuga Hinata, clan heir, was extraneous; that whole facet of her character could have been a separate one-shot character who just showed up in Neji's villain arc like so many others, given her importance as clan heir after this point.
Now that Naruto's over, it's obvious the whole horrible Hyuuga clan background was just another tragic villainous past for Naruto to defeat in a stupid fight. It's infuriating because it's literally is a schoolyard fight—it's not exactly a demon trapped in a little boy, or the survivors of a brutal foreign war finding the only way to protect themselves is destroying everyone who opposes them. Kishimoto didn't have to write a caged bird seal plotline; he didn't have to make the Hyuuga so brutal to their own kin. Neji didn't even need to try and murder his cousin, just beating the shit out of her would have been enough. The whole thing could have been written as a simple family drama about the unfairness of absolute primogeniture, no seal needed, just the weight of "we've always done it this way". Kishimoto wrote it for the explicit purpose of first making Neji horrible and cruel, then revealing, like all the rest of Naruto's villains, why he is deserving of pity for his "terrible" deeds.
Ultimately, Kishimoto wrote the Hyuuga the way he did because he's almost incapable of writing a character who does bad things without having a sad past; and he's incapable of that because he's a lazy writer who doesn't want to go through the work of actually writing interesting characters. The entire Hyuuga family plotline is the sort of manipulative asspull I hate in both professional and amateur writers, the sort of crutch a weakling uses to pass over another character’s flaws. Hinata, in this story, only exists to show how fucked up Neji is because of her father's actions. She certainly never gets any resolution to her father treating her poorly, or the fact that her cousin tried very hard to kill her in public view. The central tension in the Hyuuga clan is between Neji and Hiashi, which is why the arc closes with Hiashi apologizing to Neji, and then Neji deciding to make his own way in life despite the seal, like his father did.
And Hinata, who is despised for weakness by her father; who is nearly killed for having the temerity to point out Neji's own blind spot; who is physically weak, but has the glimmers of a character stronger than both her cousin and father combined, if only Kishimoto had been interested?
Like Mito, and Kushina, and Rin, and Kurenai, and Sakura, and Anko, and yes, Karin, and every other goddamn woman in this manga - like them, she's only a prop in someone else's story. And in turn, that other person's story is just a prop for Naruto to defeat on his way to becoming a hero.

Gonna go family by family so let's start with Dewey. Dewey is the first one I wrote to have kids bc I thought hey it would be funny if aroace Dewey adopted a bunch of kids and named them after the ninja turtles. All my other headcanons and families sprung from that first what if.
I'll add on to the post (through reblogs) with everyone else's kids when I have those profiles done but it'll probably be tomorrow at the earliest.
These profiles cover them as people in general instead of at specific ages but I have primarily written them around the ages of Raph 13, DJ and Mikey 11, Leo 6. I'll reference their cousins in comparison to them in future additions so you get a sense of the age difference. These profiles don't go into their backgrounds bc I haven't written that fic yet haha.
Also I'm adding pictures of similar ducks so you get the general vibe I'm going for
Raphael “Raph” Omar Duck he/him
Appearance: Despite not being biologically related to Dewey he looks the most like Dewey out of all his sibs. White skin and hair, floppy like younger Donald, with dyed black streaks. Wears dark clothes, trying to be punk. Probably gets his eyebrow pierced when he’s in college. Will dress up and wear colors for his sister but only for his sister.
Personality: Tries to be a tough guy but a real softie for his family, stubborn and rebellious. Loves art, loud music, and robotics. Nerds out with Uncle Boyd, who is his favorite of his aunts and uncles. Raphael has made a near-perfect robotic replica of himself but it can’t do much. Taught Mikey everything he knows about robotics, a little bummed that Mikey doesn’t love it as much as he does. Pretty close with his cousin Scarlett and Emerald. Protective of his family but having to be the older brother wears him out sometimes. Not as brave as he wants people to think. Demisexual homoromantic.
Birthday: December 2nd
DJ Duck she/her
Appearance: Tan, sand-colored skin and hair, like Fenton. Wears her hair long, often in a braid or braids. Likes to dress up and wear pretty clothes like dresses and skirts, likes purple. Likes makeup and jewelry. Grows up to be a bit taller than Raph, wears heels anyway.
Personality: Kind and friendly, likes to make jokes (sometimes morbid jokes), a lot more outgoing after she came out. Still worried about fitting in with her peers but becomes more confident as she grows into herself. Loves music, plays the trumpet. Not the best trumpet player but one of the better trumpet players in her school band. Loves her family, best friends with her twin brother Mikey and her cousin Azure. Violet is her favorite of the aunts and uncles. Trans MTF Pansexual
Birthday: January 26th
Michelangelo “Mikey” Brandon Duck He/him
Appearance: Tan, sand-colored skin and hair, like Fenton. Unruly chin-length hair that does whatever it wants unless he pins or ties it back. Sometimes he has little braids in it when DJ feels like braiding it. Doesn’t care about his clothes, will wear anything, likes matching DJ though, so sometimes he wears skirts and dresses and often he’ll wear jewelry.
Personality: He’s a theatre kid. He can be very dramatic and also very sensitive. Like his sister, he just wants to fit in but more than fitting in he just wants to make sure he isn’t left behind by the people he loves. He worries endlessly about his family, especially DJ, outgrowing him and abandoning him. Loves animals, especially weird little “unlovable” animals. Best friends with DJ and Azure. Looks up to Raphael more than anyone else. Gosalyn is his favorite of his aunts/uncles/whatever. Aroace.
Birthday: January 26th
Leonardo “Leo” Benjamin Duck He/him
Appearance: He has green skin and dark hair. When he’s not in outside clothes he likes to dress like a little gentleman, especially when Uncle Louie or Aunt Daisy picked the clothes.
Personality: He seems like a total sweetheart but he is a mini criminal in the making. I mean, Louie is his favorite of the aunts/uncles, and working together he and his cousin Mo can get away with pretty much anything. He’s still literally the nicest person unless you drag his family and then he’ll fight you, so maybe don’t drag his family in front of him. He does not want to be a businessman, he wants to be a conman (he will settle for charlatan, or becoming an actor like his big bro Mikey). This causes problems between him and his best friend Mo when Mo is like “crime is fun but I wanna be a detective” and they have a playful rivalry. Bi
Birthday: August 20th
Working on some character profiles for all my HDLW fankids...
Very excited to share some OCs with y'all

Would it make sense if siblings are in different teams. I'm writing a married gaara story and his biological kids are twins. I didn't want to put them in a team with shinki in case later his teammates turn out to be important
Absolutely.
Typically I would say that family members being on the same team (siblings, parent/child, etc.) isn’t a good idea unless you can justify it properly. WHY would the kage of their village want to put them on the same team? Maybe they work well together? Or their fighting styles compliment each other and they are capable of putting the mission first. (The Sand Sibs are a different story however).
Potentially, putting family members on the same team can be dangerous to the mission. A parent sensei isn’t necessarily going to want to put their child in any danger, whether or not they are the best person for said task. Siblings could potentially argue and jeapordize things, an over protective sibling isn’t going to want the other to be put into any kind of danger either.
Shinobi are working when on missions, so thinking of them like employees: i.e. keeping their personal/home life out of work is probably best.
I hope that I was able to help!

mint im new to this au can you explain what the modern school au is?
heck to the yes my man
Naruto Modern-School AU (also known as Naruto MS AU) is an AU where the Naruto characters live in the modern world. It’s called “modern school au” since instead of being ninjas and throwing some good ol’ shuriken and kunai, they’re students trying to throw their student responsibilities under the carpet; instead of making jutsus, they’re making excuses to not do that damn math homework I A M LOOK I NG A T NAR UT O
The characters also have vv refined past stories that are sorta different from the canon-verse (so far Konoha 12 and Sand Sibs have a legit backstory). Some characters who are dead in the canonverse are also alive (i.e Minato, Kushina, Fugaku, Mikoto) and some remain under the earth (ie Rasa, Karura and Yashamaru). This AU also exemplifies their childhood in the modern world, their school life (primary until college), their jobs and the new generation/families in the future.
This AU also shows a few parallels and references to the canonverse (like the canon couples, just so the New Gen exists). There are also some fanon characters inserted here (NejiTen children, SasuSaku twins that followed Sarada) and some couples that are non-canon too (LeeGaa, SasoDei, KakuHidan).
Basically, it’s just a big “what-if” thought that popped in my mind months ago and yeah owo. Now that thought is alive and taking over this blog :>
#naruto modern au#naruto school au#i hope this explains it!#;;they remain nameless [anonymous]#;;minty fresh time [ask]

Retold Flames: The Dragonet Prophecy (part 1)
Minor Content Warning Spoiler for mentions of blood and Scarlet brutally Killing.
Here with the second piece of Retold Flames, following up from Succession War. For some AU world building: During the latter years of the Succession War, the Southern Scales (the Kingdom of Sand’s southernmost region, scattered with ruins across the land like scales) would experience a shift in power as the monarchy would be more focused on the war up north (attempts would be made by the monarchy to reestablish their order but would end up crumbling after a few years); leaving groups like the Outclaws of Scorpion Den and the Shore Guild (a group mainly known for their past work of excavating ruins) to gain a talon hold over the region, taking a stance of neutrality on the war (the latter group even having rumors of becoming independent from the Kingdom of Sand as a whole, gaining influence over the ruin settlements and den towns looking for safety from a rising number of outlaws in the region).
-
Asha & Hvitur: Before joining the Talons of Peace, Asha was a fierce warrior among the Mud Kingdom’s forces; Becoming a sister in claws to Kestrel during their time fighting together, making the decision to go with Kestrel in joining the Talons of Peace. There, Asha would meet Mudwing Sibs Crocodile and Bullfrog as well as their Icewing Unsib Hvitur, joining the Talons of Peace after the loss of the rest of their Sib Troop.
During their time working together in the Talons, Asha and Hvitur would grow close, eventually forming a relationship with one another; Commemorating this Hvitur gifting Asha a silver earring and Asha gifting Hvitur a large scarf, brown like her scales. It wouldn't be long however that the two would be chosen to acquire and raise the Dragonets of Destiny with Kestrel and two new Talons of Peace recruits Sandwing Dune (bringing the Sandwing egg) and Seawing Webs (bringing the Seawing egg) selected by Morrowseer (bringing the Nightwign egg) as Minders for the task. Asha would go on to acquire the Mudwing egg of her nephew and successfully bring it back to the others but unfortunately pass away due to injuries from being caught in the crossfire of an ensuing battle on her return trip. Hvitur would be less fortunate, being killed by Burn after escaping the Sky Palace with the Skywing egg; The two being lost together.
-
Kestrel & Dune: Before joining the Talons of Peace, Kestrel was a violent and fierce warrior and arena champion of the Sky Kingdom; Eventually finding a sister in claws and trusted friend in Mudwing Asha on the battlefield, helping Kestrel calm her more destructive tendencies. In time Kestrel would attempt to flee the Sky Kingdom with her newly hatched Skywing twin dragonets from a breeding program from Queen Scarlet, said queen catching Kestrel in her escape and give her the choice to kill one of her own dragonet's and let Scarlet let them live. Kestrel would choose to throw her Featherwing (Skywing twin egg subtribe) dragonet into a nearby raging river and attempt to leave with her fire scale dragonet. But Scarlet never said anything about letting Kestrel leave, leading to the new Skywing mother attempting to flee with her fire scale dragonet; Only for her talons to become burnt to the point of no longer being able to hold her dragonet (having to wear wrappings to continue being able to hold things), forcing her to flee with her dragonet left to be taken by Scarlet. Kestrel would attempt to find any sign of her Featherwing dragonet but lose hope when she finds that the river she tossed them into flows into a plummeting waterfall with no sign of the dragonet; Leaving her to decide to join the Talons of Peace but not before making one last trip to see Asha who would go with Kestrel in joining the Talons of Peace.
While part of the Talons of Peace, Kestrel would become known among the group as one of their best fighters; working closely with Talons members Asha, Hvitur and Avalanche (being of the only few that could get passed her temper) as well as being selected to ensure the safety of the Dragonets of Destiny and their Minders Asha, Hvitur, Webs and Dune. Something that would take a turn in Asha, Hvitur and the Skywing egg being lost (Webs going out to get steal a Rainwing to take the lost egg’s place in the dragonets), leaving Kestrel to fill in their place as minder (wearing Hvitur’s scarf with Asha’s earring hooked into it in remembrance of the two).
During his early life, Dune would bear an enthusiasm that would be squashed with the destruction of one of his wings and the loss of a leg, leaving only the desire for the war to just be done with. Something he would believe he found in a chance encounter with Morrowseer looking for a Sandwing egg for the dragonet prophecy in secret (as well as Stonemover); Convincing Dune to steal away the egg of his friend Thorn for the Prophecy, leading to him becoming one of the Dragonet of Destiny Minders.
While Kestrel (giving combat training) and Dune (giving hunting training) would raise the Dragonets as their Minders; Kestrel herself doing this through tiger parenting, pushing Clay to be a fierce Bigwing like his aunt Asha and give Skywing combat tutoring to Tsunami who would grow a rebellious streak against her minders as she got older (The dragonets as well as Dune and Webs would occasionally comment how Kestrel and Tsunami similarly act, something the two would deny in similar ways). Dune himself would be grouchy and tough grow a fondness for the others under the mountain over the years that he would only really show to Sunny (as well as to Kestrel in private) and take up more of a nocturnal sleep schedule over the years as he tutor's Starflight on the side (becoming a bit of a father figure to the young Nightwing dragonet). Kestrel and Dune would raise Glory to be a Skying dragonet for the prophecy after learning of her color changing (Glory herself would pick up a habit of just keeping a Skywing coloration from this).
-
Webs: Before being part of the Talons of Peace, Webs was a healer and trusted friend of King Gill. With a wonderful wife and son, Webs would believe that everything would be fine, until he stumbled across princess Blister and her Secret alliance with Morrowseer, Whirlpool and Queen Scarlet. They wouldn't kill Webs as it would raise unwanted suspicion with Gill, instead they would subtly force him to join the efforts to raise the Dragonets of Destiny with the threat of his wife and son being killed if her doesn't. Not wanting anything to happen to him, Webs would comply and steal away the Seawing egg of Tsunami from the Royal Hatchery and join the other minders in raising the Dragonets of Destiny in isolation. He would also go on to steal the Rainwing egg of Glory from the Rainforest after the loss of the Skywing egg for the prophecy.
Webs would be tasked with teaching the dragonets about the history of the Succession War (as well as other important things) to make a choice on which of the Royal sisters would take the throne (preferably Blister by those who sent him). He would take monthly trips down to South Den on the shores of Southern Scales to safely learn what has been going on with the war at present to teach the dragonets as well as stock up on provisions and new scrolls (much to Starflight's delight) for the others back under the mountain (Kestrel and Dune would have Webs keep an eye on the dragonets whenever he got back so they could both have time away together). During one of these trips while passing through Jade Mountain for a place to rest, Webs would stumble across Stonemover and his skulk of oddly intelligent foxes. After that point, Webs would go through Jade Mountain to make a visit to Stonemover and his fox skulk whenever he would make his monthly trip; Forming somewhat of a good friendship with the group that wouldn't really go that deep.
When it comes time for the minders to kill Glory under orders from Morrowseer (having followed the massive Nightwing’s as to not get killed with nowhere safe to go even if they did survive), Webs (enduring through apprehension of what would happen to his wife and son back in the Kingdom of Sea, even after all these years) would eventually bring up the idea of the minders running away with the dragonets so they wouldn’t have to kill Glory (Something Kestrel and Dune would initially reject at first due to them being fugitives with nowhere else to properly hid, but would come to accept the idea with a growing suspicion of why Morrowseer didn’t just take the dragonets he saw as worthy with him as well as Webs bringing up how Jade Mountain could be a good place for them to hide). The plan Webs would make with him, Kestrel and Dune rounding up all the dragonets, as well as unchain Tsunami (partially under the orders of Morrowseer so the young Seawing wouldn’t attempt to escape before he got back), at which point they begin their move to Jade Mountain where they would hide with a friend of Webs (Stonemover) until it was time to enact the prophecy. A plan that would be derailed with finding the dragonets have broken out Tsunami who has escaped through the underwater with Clay to break out the other dragonets from outside. Webs would go after the two dragonets through the underwater river and leave Kestrel and Dune to round up Sunny, Starflight and an invisibly hiding Glory for the trip (Kestrel herself would leave Dune deal with rounding up the three dragonets himself while she would go attempt to cut off Tsunami and Clay’s path of escape as well as get something for the group to quickly eat for the trip).
-
Clay (Our Perspective): During his time being raised under the mountain, Clay would be a caring Bigwing to the other dragonets (taking an interest in scrolls about healing brought by Webs so he could help whoever the other dragonets got injured); Something he would have trouble doing with Kestrel pushing him to be a fierce Bigwing like his Aunt Asha (Kestrel would use her flame breath to mend Clay's surface level wounds after a combat session due to being hatched from a blood red egg allowing him to mend his wounds with intense heat and forgo needing mud to do so like other Mudwings, though the process would cause him pain that she would see as toughening him up). It's only when it is his hatching day that he (as well as the other dragonets) would get a bit of leniency from Kestrel (with convincing from Dune and Webs) in what the dragonets can do that single day. Something that wouldn’t be for their sixth hatching day as Morrowseer would make an unexpected appearance, leading to Clay and the other dragonets not having the day for themselves and Tsunami being chained up. Clay would spy on the minders once Morrowseer left and after seeing Kestrel seeming willingness to kill Glory for Morrowseer as well as her and Dune’s initial rejection to running away with the dragonets, Clay would sneak back to the other dragonets.
With Clay telling the other dragonets of what he overheard (unaware of the Minders actual plan), the dragonets would go with an idea proposed by Tsunami many times before (being the rebellious dragonet she is) and make their own escape without the Minders, this time with the weight of saving Glory from being supposedly killed by Kestrel. They would be quick to work getting Tsunami out of her chains, burning some of the scrolls they have (much to Starflight’s dismay) and create flames to heat up the chains binding Tsunami with help from Clay’s flame breath from being warmed up himself; Allowing them to bend apart the chains binding Tsunami and free her. Following this, Clay and Tsunami would travel through to find an exit to help the others escape from the outside (being led by Tsunami who somewhat knows the underground river passages from sneaking away when everyone else is asleep and Webs is away traveling), but not before seeing Glory turn invisible to hide and not get caught by the minders and having the idea to make a smoke signal for Tsunami and Clay to find a way back to the others.
Eventually, with a bit of trouble for Clay while traveling through cold underwater caves, he and Tsunami would succeed in escaping through the underground river and find themselves in the outside world. The two would take a rest to gather themselves and take in the night sky for a short period before making their way to break the others out, a rest that would be interrupted by the appearance of Webs (figuring out with the other minders that the two were escaping through the underground river, taking chase after them and quickly catching up to them from being both more knowledgeable on the underwater passages as well as being a more experienced swimmer than the two). Webs would slow down the two long enough to explain about his plan that he convinced the other minders of doing in running away with the dragonets, something that the two (especially Tsunami) wouldn’t really be convinced of as true with their minders general attitude towards the dragonets. Their conversation would be cut short as they would have unexpected company in Queen Scarlet with an entourage of guards, said guards proceeding to subdue the three of them under Scarlets orders. Clay would be given a painful choice by Scarlet (seeing him care for the two Seawings), choose one of the Seawings to die and she’ll let the other live. Clay wouldn’t be able to make a choice, not wanting to see either of them die (much to Scarlet’s thrilling enjoyment). Eventually Scarlet would make the choice for Clay (becoming irritated at how long it is taking him) and force him and Tsunami to watch as she pierces Webs neck and leave him to squirm freely on the ground as he bleeds out, crawling away into the river they are next to (talons latched firmly to his neck as his hand covers his wound to prevent himself from bleeding severely) and passing out as his body begins drifting down river, seemingly dead. Clay would be shocked by this sudden turn of events, even more so not long after as Scarlets guards would be ambushed by Kestrel (having to take a longer path to catch the dragonet) and allowing Clay and Tsunami to make an escape (Tsunami herself taking charge as Clay is getting is getting his bearings together).
Clay with Tsunami would find the smoke signal the others made and make their way back to Sunny and Starflight with Dune (Glory would stick to staying invisible). The Dragonets and Dune would attempt to gather themselves to escape after the news of Webs death, but they would be cut off by Scarlet and a majority of her guards (Leaving some to deal with a captured Kestrel, thinking the former champion has gotten rusty watching dragonets). The dragonets would be subdued by Scarlet’s Guards (much to the dismay of Dune valiantly attempting to protect them, being subdued himself), being interrupted by Kestrel making a sudden return (covered in blood that is mostly not her own). A deal would be attempted by Kestrel for Scarlet to take her and let the others go, something the queen would deny as she snaps Dune’s neck (leaving Sunny to grieve for Dune and enraging Kestrel greatly for what Scarlet had done). Clay would watch as Kestrel would attempt to strike at Scarlet who would be protected by her guards, allowing Tsunami to break free and help the other dragonets. Something that wouldn’t last with Kestrel and Tsunami being knocked out by the guards who would knockout Clay, Starflight and Sunny as well (not taking any chances).

TJLC in The Six Thatchers *SPOILERS*
JOHNLOCK IN THE SIX THATCHERS ( please read, it'll be worth your time I promise) Okay so I watched The Six Thatchers maybe 8 times now and have a few things I would like to point out to provide further evidence that JohnLock will happen in The Final Problem and would like to hear your thoughts! I know this is really long, but I went into extreme detail of the episode and I think it's worth reading, especially since Rebekah is likely not going to make an episode on it. Anyway, without further ado, All evidence of Johnlock in The Six Thatchers.
1) On the fridge I'm sure we all saw the pamphlet with the elephant, but directly above it is a post-it note with 13th written on it. I started thinking what this could mean and then realised that including TAB, The Final Problem would be episode 13 of Sherlock. The elephant will be addressed finally in the 13th episode.
2) Can we please note the ridiculously not so subtle water imagery throughout the episode? literally overlaying sherlocks face?
3) the main villan of the episode was refered to constantly (before the reveal of her identity) as Ammo, which we find out actually means Love. and said villan ends up killing mary, the one thing standing between sherlock and john. (sidenote I do love Mary as a character and was sad to see amanda go, I knew it had to be done for the sake of Johnlock) also, convenient that John now has a child, something John and Sherlock wouldn't of been able to have on their own.
4) Save John Watson. Save him. Save him Sherlock. Save him from what exactly? Oh I don't know maybe the repressed sexuality he has been hiding all these years? Save him from the pain of staying in the closet? (which is pretty painful, I know from experience. You really do feel saved when you fall in love for the first time) also, Save John Watson; the skip code sent to Mary in the Empty Hearse. In which John was being burned... as in "I will burn the heart out of you" burned. just saying.
5) Free as a bird. #ohwhatabeautifulmorning Here are the lyrics to oh what a beautiful morning - There's a bright golden haze on the meadow, There's a bright golden haze on the meadow, The corn is as high as an elephant's eye, An' it looks like its climbin' clear up to the sky. Chorus: Oh what a beautiful morning, Oh what a beautiful day, I've got a wonderful feeling, Everything's going my way. - Okay how many songs do you know have the word elephant in them? not many, and of course the one song sherlock tweets is about everything going perfectly and mentions a freaking elephant... Also, It's from Oklahoma! the Musical... which you can read about the relevance to in Rebekah's tumblr blog
6) John's Blog We get a quick shot of John's Blog in the opening, (the real life counter part of the blog is no longer being updated) but it's important to note that the counter is no longer stuck at 1895! They've broken past the barrier of the suppressive time period! Also, the titles of the blogs (in order of apperance) are:
221Back! (which from what I can read off the blurred image, is about how he hasn't written in a while and that he'll try to write everything up soon, and that he's going to be a dad)
Dusty Death (a case about a woman who's husband drowned, but had sand in his lungs not water.)
Unknown Blog Entry (about a man who came in looking white as a sheet and a wound in his hand. We don't know much about this case except that it was the wrong thumb?)
The Duplicate Man (How could Dennis Parkinson be in two places at once and murdered in one of them? Again don't know much excpect that it's never twins.)
The Circus Torso (Limbless body found decomposing in trunk in waterloo wouldn't be identified.)
The Canary Trainer (Andrew Wilson was an unusual man with an Unusual hobby. He seemed to have no connection to the man whos life was so abruptedly ended one freezing night)
The Cardiac Arrest (Joel Fentiman was found strangled in the bedsit he shared with his brother. They had always got on well and there was no sign that the situation had changed... we could never have known that there was a potential assasin lurking close by.) I may be reading too much into this one, but perhaps, since people view sherlock and johns relationship as platonic and brotherly, they share a flat, and according to the non tjlc viewers, there is no sign that that would be changing. and if it were to continue on that way, the more than platonic relationship would die. Strangled. not able to speak. or breathe. Suffocated by an assasin... cough mary cough. Again, could be reading too much into this one.
7) Sherlock's Tweets There are many in the first act of the episode and it goes by fast but here is what I could collect in order.
Free as a Bird
#ohwhatabeautifulmornin
#221BringIt!
8) The Canary Trainer Woman: "Didn't see that coming" Sherlock: "Naturally" The woman is the viewers, this is made apparent by the fact that she is viewing sherlock over a device and not face to face in person like a typical client.
9) John's Missed calls from Mary John has 59 missed calls from mary after he spends all his day with sherlock... hmmm in SIB John mentions that Sherlock has had 57 texts from Irene, sherlock recieves two texts from Irene after this point, Im not dead lets have dinner and goodbye mr holmes. making 59 total texts from Irene. Not sure if there is an important connection here but as mycroft so fondly pointed out, there are no such things as coincidences. so take this as you like.
10) Sherlock Watson Sherlock mentions yet again that he wants them to name their daughter Sherlock because her thinks it would sound good, he likes the name Sherlock Watson. Of course Mary and John both remind him that it's not a girl's name, to which Sherlock just grins
11) Sherlock is named Godfather to the child. it's a strectch but Father is in the title and Mother is gone by the end so...
12) Margaret Thatcher Okay so as the title of the episode and the main story line, this is really important. Margaret was one of the greatest Prime ministers of all british history... except for one glaring flaw... she was very anti-gay. Okay, so, the Welsborough couple are mirrors to John and Sherlock, this is clear from the fact that their case begins with a reflection in a balloon. Also because they say they had no life before they met eachother, much in the way john's blog blatently states he literally had no life whatsoever before he met Sherlock. When they kiss, the wife says "she's looking at us disapprovingly again" referring to the Thatcher bust, this however would make no sense unless it's not refering to them as a straight couple but instead their mirrors John and Sherlock, because as I previously stated, Maragret Thatcher was very anti-gay. Throughout the episode busts of Thatcher are being broken in order to find or free something hidden. The are literally shattering the anti-gay minister in order to free something hidden... come on people. this is so glaring its almost baffling how other a handful of us have figured out the true drive of the show. (side note, the power ranger on Charlies car is blue... guess what the name of the blue power ranger is? Billy. Also he was considered the brains of the group) Later in the show sherlock finally catches on to whats happening with the busts and the following conversation occurs between sherlock and lestraude.
L: and now someones wandering about destroying them all. Makes no sense whats the point?
S: No theyre not destroying them. Thats not whats happening
L: yes it it
S:Well it is whats happening but its not the point... Ive been slow, far too slow
L: well im still being slow over here so if you wouldnt mind...
S: slow but lucky, very lucky.
*takes deep breath* okay. so if we read this conversation with the busts representing heteronormativity in media, or the straight perception of the show, and lestraude as the audience, we are being told that yes the physical busts are being destroyed but thats not the point. the point is johnlock. the general audience still doesnt see it, some people are catching on, but the whole thing has been moving very slow, because the writers dont want to rush it, they want to do this right, and in order to do that they need to build up a story for years, a story that will change the way we see things, but without throwing it at us abruptly and randomly. This is a love story remember, and love stories need build up or it feels forced. and this is something that should in no way feel forced.
13) Titles This fun little concersation: *talking about the Ghost Driver case* Sherlock: "Dont give it a title"
John: "people like titles"
Sherlock: "I hate titles"
John: "give the people what they want"
Sherlock: "no, never do that, people are stupid.
Mary: "uhm some people"
Sherlock: "All people are stupid.... most people."
you sure were still talking about blogs boys? Everyone wants to title them as platonic and friends and all this jazz to which sherlock says he hates titles and then goes on to say that most people are stupid, implying that there is a section of people who nderstand and arent blind to the obvious cough cough club tjlc
14) John's Hair I think it's important to note that John is using a lot more product in his hair this season, and as Sherlock Holmes himself pointed out, Product in the hair is a sign of gayness, previous seasons said john only washed his hair, there was a difference. now hes upgraded to full product, clearly taking more of an interest in maintenance of himself. Not to impress mary, theyre already married what's he got to impress at this point? unless hes not trying to impress anyone it's just for himself. which is according to sherlock, kind of gay.
15) SOMETHINGS COMING Throughout the literal entire episode it is constantly repeated that something is coming! The want to make it obvious that it is coming something big is going to happen! Sherlock has a little rant about how by analysing everyones movements and patterns the future is entirely predictable mathmatically. well guess whose been doing that the entire time? Us. The TJCL cool people who have dedicated countless hours into analysing characters to discover that Johnlock will happen in the Final Problem. well done guys yay! Sherlock didn't like the original ending of Appointment in Samarah, she he WROTE HIS OWN ENDING The transition for that scene you may ask? Glass... shattering...onto.....a...shattered...bust...of...antigay...margaret...thatcher .........Guys... come on... they are screaming it to us at this point. 16) Now that youve pointed it out Sherlock talks Mr Kingsley through his deductions, after which mr K states that once he'd explained it, it was quite obvious...(cough cough johnlock) to which sherlock gets offended and making up a bunch of lies, namely, says his wife is the most dangerous spy in the world, operating deep undercover.
17) game face Theres a weird moment where the margaret bust is transposed onto sherlocks face, and then lestraude says that shelock doesnt look pleased. sherlock replies with "this is my game face". Keeping in mind that Thatcher busts in this episode represent the heteronormativity in media, sherlock is putting on a face, a face to appeal to heteronormativity but he isnt pleased. He isn't pleased with wearing the game face anymore... because it's not a game anymore... johnlock, isnt a gameface anymore and the heteronormative mask is going to come off soon.
18) Toby the dog = Johnlock
J: "Hes not moving"
S: "Hes thinking"
J: "Hes really not moving"
S: "Hes slow and sure john, not dissimilar to yourself"
J: "You just like this dog don't you"
S: "Well I like you"
Mary: "Hes still not moving."
*enters montage of Sherlock's theme melting into John's chords in a major key. in a visual pattern identical to John and Sherlock running through the streets of london in SIP*
19) Sherlock. Holmes. Falling. Through. Shattering. Glass. Into. A. Pool. Of. Water. With. Waves. Painted. On. The. Walls. Forcing. A. Man. To. Choke. On. A. Waterfall.
20) Promotional posters In a poster for the Final Problem, there shows a violin with the E string broken. if anyone has a theory to what this represents please let me know. On a seperate poster john and sherlock are in their chairs staring at eachother with the room flooded in water and a tea cup floating between them
21) GWJ GWJ is spray painted on the door outside of the location where Mary and Sherlock meet... Theories for what this stands for? Like... Gay with John? or Go with John? or Gratiss Wants Johnlock?
22) So many lies J: so many lies and I dont just mean you. we find out john means the almost affair here, BUT I don't think so. Okay for started the almost affair broke my heart so I wont be talking about it at all, but the fact that it was even considered means John isnt 100% happy in this marraige. He wouldnt even consider it otherwise. But what isnt he happy with? He loves mary, we all do, shes awesome. Hes got a beautiful child, and is still solving crimes with his best friend... unless... unless he Isn't happy with mary because even though he loves her... He loves someone else more... Sherlock. And being around Sherlock all the time and not knowing Sherlock loves him back while being married has got to be taxing and is definately something that could push someone to consider having an affair. Hes sick of lying to mary and hes sick of lying to sherlock. Hes sick of lying to everyone, he just wants to be out of the dang closet guys!
23) E Okay. Im not going to talk bout the almost affair because im still mad at John for it, but I have to talk about the mystery woman whom it involved. E. Earlier I said there was a promo image with a violin with a broken string, the E string. Now, when we learn about the lies and the almost affair, we see E through the reflection of the plane window. so we know shes a mirror. But a mirror for whom? John? Mary? She is wearing a rose on a necklace, and we know mary's name is actually Rosamund. If it's mary why would John be having an affair with someone who mirrors his wife? Maybe becuse he feels that Mary is the affair and his real relationship is with Sherlock? We also see E next to a poster for the seasons villan and the words It's Murder. Coming soon. Hes Back. and if E really is a mirror for Mary than that's not that big of a jump since Mary is murdered at the end of the episode.
24) The Vauxhall Bridge The Vauxhall bridge is known for it's statues on the pillars which are hidden to anyone on the bridge, and instead only visible to those on the water... a lot of water in this episode guys... a lot.
25) When Sherlock sends John and Mary different texts at the same time. to Mary he says "The curtain rises The last act Its not over." Thats a nod to us, the viewers. Telling us when johnlock is going to happen. the last act. The Final Problem. and not to give up hope because of John shutting out sherlock at the end of the episode. Theyre telling it its okay, its not over, all will be revealed in the last act. 26) water water water freaking everywhere opening, water rosies's mobil has fishes, rosie's baptism. Sherlocks face overlayed with water as hes taking to mycroft about destiny. Sherlock fighting with ajay in lots of water Sherlock meeting with Mary in the rain Sherlock standing on a bridge above water Mary getting freaking shot in an aquarium.... SHerlock goes to therapy and what does Ella have on the table? Water. Guys... come on...
27) What to do about John?
S:I need to know what to do
E:Do?
S:About John.
*increased heartbeat is heard in background*
What's the worst thing you can do to your closest friends? Tell them the truth. Sherlock hun you gotta tell John how you feel.
28) Molly We only see Molly once in this episode and shes a mess. we know shes a john mirror so john is a total wreck at this point, but is really sorry for shutting out Sherlock.
29) Closing Can Samarra be avoided? Im looking at the merchant story as the Sherlock Holmes story as it's always been told. Two platonic friends who are just that. And like how Sherlock wrote his own ending, where the merchant goes to another town and lives, Moffat and Gratiss are writing their own end. One where Sherlock and John get to live free and be together. Free from the 1895 lock around their story. Can samarra be avoided? Well it fades to water and then we get Mary telling Sherlock to go to Hell (no idea what that means gunna be completely honest here) but I think that the whole point of the episode is yes. samarra can be avoided. and thats what their going to do. write a new ending. because as moffat says, if youre not writing it to change something, to correct someone, than you shouldnt be writing it at all.
SO there we go. Those are all the things I found in the 6 Thatchers. I would love to hear what you all think,. Thank you to anyone who read all the way through. Im so blessed to have been apart of this amazing journey with all of you. Now all we need is a gay disney princess am I right? Seriously though, I love you all and am blessed to be in such a great community here.
TL;DR johnlock is real. it will happen. and it will happen in the final problem.
