Why You Shouldn’t Wait to Fix Your Phone Screen
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/0eaa331ae4c0fdeb2606b8104e60d0d0/8285ada0b7592192-8d/s540x810/a2108d83a1245b3f4d880318e700a262f2295bef.jpg)
A cracked or damaged phone screen might seem like a minor inconvenience at first. You may think you can put off repairing it as long as your phone is still functioning. However, delaying the repair of a broken screen can lead to far more serious problems down the line. Beyond the obvious visual annoyance, a damaged screen can negatively impact your phone’s performance, durability, and even your safety. Here’s why you shouldn’t wait to fix your phone screen..
Risk of Further Damage
A cracked screen leaves your phone vulnerable to further damage. Once the screen is compromised, it no longer provides the same protection for the internal components of your phone. Dirt, dust, and moisture can easily get 7inside the phone through the cracks, which may lead to hardware issues such as water damage or malfunctioning internal circuits. Even small cracks can grow larger with time, increasing the likelihood of total screen failure. By fixing your mobile screen immediately, you avoid escalating damage that could require more expensive repairs later.
Reduced Touchscreen Functionality
Cracked screens often lead to reduced touchscreen responsiveness. As the cracks spread, the touch sensors beneath the glass can become damaged, making it difficult or even impossible to use certain areas of the screen. You may experience lag or unresponsive behavior, which can disrupt your ability to use apps, send texts, or answer calls. Over time, this can render your phone practically unusable, forcing you to get a more extensive repair than if you had addressed the issue early on.
Compromised Display Quality
A cracked screen not only affects touch functionality but also distorts the display. You may notice blurry visuals, discoloration, or pixelation, all of which can worsen over time. These issues can make it difficult to read texts, view images, or watch videos, greatly reducing your phone’s usability. Delaying repairs allows these problems to compound, leading to a diminished user experience and higher phone repair costs as more components are affected.
Increased Risk of Injury
A cracked phone screen can be a hazard to your safety. Tiny shards of glass may loosen and create sharp edges, which can cut your fingers or hands as you use the device. Even if the cracks seem small and harmless, continued use increases the risk of these fragments breaking off. By postponing the repair, you expose yourself to potential injury from handling your damaged phone.
Decreased Phone Resale Value
If you plan to sell or trade-in your phone in the future, a cracked screen significantly reduces its resale value. Even minor cosmetic damage can make your phone less attractive to buyers and decrease its worth. Repairing your phone screen promptly helps maintain the phone’s condition and value, allowing you to get the best return when it’s time to upgrade.
Potential for Complete Failure
Waiting to repair a cracked screen increases the likelihood of your phone experiencing total failure. In severe cases, the screen may stop working altogether, leaving you with a non-functional phone that can no longer be used until it is repaired. What could have been a simple screen replacement might now require additional repairs or even a full phone replacement if the internal damage is too severe.
Affects Battery Life and Performance
A cracked screen can have a surprising effect on your phone’s battery life. If the touchscreen becomes less responsive, you may find yourself tapping or pressing harder to perform tasks, which can drain the battery faster. Additionally, cracks that allow dust or moisture to enter the phone can impact the internal components, leading to performance issues such as slow processing or overheating. Fixing your screen promptly ensures your phone continues to operate efficiently.
Worsening Camera Quality
Many modern smartphones have front-facing cameras integrated into the screen. A cracked screen can obstruct or distort the view, causing blurry selfies or video calls. If the crack spreads over the front camera, it could even damage the lens or the sensitive components beneath. Ignoring a cracked mobile phone screen may result in permanent damage to the camera, requiring a more expensive repair than simply replacing the screen.
Warranty and Insurance Considerations
If your phone is still under warranty or you have insurance coverage, waiting to fix a cracked screen could void these protections. Manufacturers or insurance providers may refuse to cover additional damage caused by neglecting to repair the screen. Fixing your phone promptly helps ensure that you stay within the terms of your warranty or insurance, making future repairs or replacements more affordable.
It’s Easier and More Affordable Than You Think
Many people delay fixing their phone screen because they believe it will be too costly or time-consuming. However, screen repair services are often more affordable than expected, especially when compared to the cost of replacing the entire phone. Many repair centers offer quick turnaround times, with some being able to fix your screen in under an hour. By acting quickly, you can avoid the higher costs associated with extensive damage while restoring your phone to full functionality.
Conclusion
Delaying the repair of a cracked phone screen is never a good idea. From the risk of further damage to compromised performance and even personal safety hazards, the problems associated with a damaged screen only worsen over time. By repairing your phone screen promptly, you avoid costly future repairs, extend the life of your device, and maintain its functionality and resale value. If your phone screen is cracked, don’t wait—fix it today to keep your phone working its best.

ೃ⁀➷ Baby My Phone
type: headcanons
listen to me yap about what phones i’d think twst characters would have.
2.2k words
Characters: NRC students
╰┈➤ Riddle
Uses a landline.
╰┈➤ Ace
He uses an iPhone but it’s one of those broken, screen protector hanging off, yellow clear case iPhone 8s.
He still thinks his phone is better than an Android and refuses to switch.
His wallpaper is one of those with a massive Nike tick and a “just do it” in a neon red camouflage pattern.
He hasn’t changed it since he was 12.
-2/10
╰┈➤ Deuce
He has a Samsung for sure.
It’s not one of the most expensive ones like an S24 Ultra but it’s reliable.
He’s got a pretty average phone case. It’s navy blue and heavy-duty, making his phone practically indestructible.
His wallpaper is probably yellow with a cartoonish picture of a chick breaking out of an egg.
Pretty simple.
Distinguished taste for an equally distinguished gentleman.
9/10
╰┈➤ Trey
He has a Samsung S10.
I don’t know why, but he just does.
I can also see him using one of those grandpa wallet cases where he carries everything inside.
His phone case doubles as a purse with the bits and bobs he puts in there.
It’s literally a fanny pack that just happens to have space to hold a phone.
Need a napkin? Hold on, let him get it from his phone case real quick.
It’s really handy but a little ridiculous with the amount of stuff he carries in there.
The battery life is hammered thanks to the hours of temple run his siblings play on it whenever he goes home for holidays.
His wallpaper is probably a picture of his siblings, which is cute.
4/10.
Would be higher if it wasn’t for the silly wallet case.
╰┈➤ Cater
We’ve already seen his phone multiple times in game, so I don’t think I have much to say.
His wallpaper is bold, like the phone case he uses.
It’s not exactly ugly, but it definitely suits him.
It’s just not something most people would want to put on their phones.
He’s 100% an iPhone user but he’s the type that gets the new model that comes out every year.
Either that or he’s using one of his sister’s hand-me-downs that’s an iPhone 13. (just like me fr).
6/10
If it wasn’t for that peculiar phone case, I’d rate it higher.
╰┈➤ Leona
I can see him using a Samsung S24 Ultra.
He barely uses it, though.
Most of the time, he tosses the phone at his nephew to keep him distracted when he sees him at home.
Because of that, he’s got a home screen full of kids' mobile games like Talking Tom and Subway Surfers.
The phone’s got a small crack in the screen from when Cheka dropped it but it wasn’t a big deal so Leona never bothered to get it fixed or replaced.
He’s got a leopard print phone case and his wallpaper is a selfie Reggie took with him sleeping and set it on his lock screen that he never bothered to change.
7/10
Again, the phone case is a no from me.
╰┈➤ Ruggie
He uses a Samsung too.
It’s an older model, like an S10+.
It’s a gift from Leona that he tossed at Ruggie one day.
Ruggie is pretty grateful for it since he was wondering how he’d contact his grandmother back at home without a phone since he wouldn’t be able to get a durable one until a while of saving up.
He takes pretty good care of it and there’s no scratches or cracks.
His wallpaper matches the selfie of himself and Leona that he set as the latter’s lock screen.
He got himself a heavy-duty phone case just to make sure it doesn’t get damaged.
10/10.
Totally not biased.
╰┈➤ Jack
He’s an iPhone user, probably sporting an iPhone 12 Pro Max. You can’t blame him for needing a large phone when he’s got pretty big hands.
He uses a clear case that’s somehow got no yellowing to it and his phone is green. It’s got a pretty wrecked battery life thanks to the younger sibling x phone syndrome.
His little sister killed the battery life with her 500 cumulative hours on Roblox and Among Us.
He doesn’t really mind since he doesn’t use his phone more than like 4 times a day.
8/10
Pretty cool.
╰┈➤ Azul
A tasteful Samsung user.
He’s one of those people who thinks iPhones are a scam and refuses to buy into it, like the classy businessman he is.
(he just has no idea how to use one).
Idk if Merfolk have waterproof phones or just communicate with echolocation but let’s pretend that the fish people have phones too.
He sports a Samsung Z Flip5 in lavender. He also has a baby blue phone case with a little seashell on it.
The twins tease him about his cutesy design choice but he shrugs it off since he knows it looks good.
It’s a shame he rarely uses the phone when he’s not going to send emails, do schoolwork and post on the lounge’s social media, though.
He also watches food ASMR videos. His wallpaper is a picture of the sea in the usual daytime lighting.
10/10
Very nice
╰┈➤ Jade
Another Android Avenger using a Samsung S22 in sage green.
His phone is in pretty good condition.
Though, he’s got a few spots of soil trapped between his screen protector and the end of his phone case.
There’s only like a single, tiny crack on his screen protector for dropping it on the floor face first when in the Botanical Garden talking to his little plants.
Can’t really blame him since he looks up tutorials when handling new spores. His phone case is transparent with (you guessed it) a pattern of little mushrooms littered on the back.
His wallpaper is a pic of him and Floyd when they were in their first year at NRC. It’s a strangely cute phone for someone as shady as Jade.
7/10
Nice, but the mushrooms r kinda overkill.
╰┈➤ Floyd
His phone doesn’t have a single crack on it.
He’s someone who takes really good care of his stuff and has a bunch of screen protectors since he knows how prone he is to dropping and accidentally throwing his phone.
His battery is fried tho since he’s notorious for playing a bunch of those silly mobile games like Fill the Fridge or Crowd City.
When he isn’t tormenting people with his deadly hugs, he’s sat perched in a corner gargoyle style with his eyes glazed over as he plays Block Blast with a score of 10,000.
Floyd’s pretty diverse with his phone case and he changes it depending on how he feels that day. Most of the time, he goes for his pale green one with an eel drawing on it, like the bag he used during the Camp Vargas event.
His wallpaper is either matching with Jade’s or a random photo of the sea he took a few days ago.
10/10
Very cool
╰┈➤ Kalim
Gets the newly released iPhone every year.
He’s not that bad though, since he gives his old one to his sibling and they pass it on to the next sibling like One For All.
His phone has no cracks on it too. He makes sure to take good care of it since he knows it’s gonna be his younger sibling’s phone in about a year and he doesn’t want them to have to use a broken phone.
He’s just nice like that. His phone case is orange with little peach circles dotted all around the back.
He’s another notorious mobile gamer with his number 1 game being Where’s My Water. His lock screen is a particularly nice-looking spread from one of the many parties he’s had over at his dorm.
10/10
Kalim is the best
╰┈➤ Jamil
Humble Samsung S21 user.
He may or may have not opted for this brand out of spite after Kalim suggested he get an iPhone so they could easily AirDrop stuff to each other.
(Quick Share is better anyway)
Isn’t much of a mobile gamer but he’s found a second home on AITA communities on Reddit.
I don’t make the rules, I just enforce them.
Jamil’s wallpaper is either something pretty like the sunset at his dorm or something silly like a selfie he took doing face masks with his sister.
As per sibling rules, however, he always makes sure to change his second lock screen any time he goes home.
She can’t know that he cares that much.
1000/10
Jamil favouritism.
╰┈➤ Vil
iPhone 15 pro max ultra mega sigma plus plus premium user.
Sometimes he has to record videos on his phone, so he needs one with the best camera and screen refresh rate possible.
It’s scary how he has no games on his phone except Wordscapes.
Believes screen time is terrible for your skin (is it?) and refuses to spend more than an hour on it outside of updating his different social media accounts.
His phone has no cracks and he hates greasy screens so best believe he’s got a glass cleaner wipe tucked into his pocket everywhere he goes.
His phone case is purple with a pop socket in the shape of a gold crown. His wallpaper is a picture of himself (ofc it is) from his favourite photoshoot.
6/10
Vil
╰┈➤ Rook
Samsung Soldier.
Rook uses a hefty Samsung Fold5.
Sometimes he needs a phone to do phone stuff and sometimes he needs a tablet to view a proper sized map of NRC for various uses I will not elaborate on for legal reasons.
When Vil takes away Epel’s phone, I imagine Rook allows Epel to use his phone to play Subway Surfers or Roblox.
Lives risky life and doesn’t use a case or a screen protector.
His phone somehow isn’t shattered especially after the billion times it’s fallen to the ground at the speed of light when he watches people from trees.
His lock screen is a Pinterest collage of Vil. 5/10
Vil
I refuse to elaborate
╰┈➤ Epel
Cracked Samsung S9.
Been using the same phone since he was 12 and refuses to let it go.
Anytime he falls, the phone disassembles and his battery goes flying.
He has to do a walk of shame each time to pick up his battery and put it back inside his phone.
Sometimes he stays up until 3 am playing COD mobile with Deuce and hides his phone under his pillow every time Vil opens his door to make sure the first years are asleep.
His wallpaper is a really cute selfie with him and the rest of the first year group. No phone case.
9/10
The battery thing is sadly relatable
╰┈➤ Idia
He uses a Samsung S24 Ultra.
Perfect mix of amazing performance as well as free rein to go into developer mode or download any 3rd party apps and modded games as much as he wishes.
Strongly believes Android is better.
When he isn’t raging at kids on Fortnite, he’s hidden in a corner of his room reading fanfic on AO3.
He will not tell a soul why his screen time shows that he has 6 hours every day on Samsung internet.
His phone case, I imagine would be a basic black with a little doodle of a cat on the back.
His wallpaper would be a pic of his PC setup when he thought it looked particularly cool.
10/10
Super techy.
╰┈➤ Ortho
He is the phone.
╰┈➤ Malleus
Uses a landline.
╰┈➤ Lilia
He has an iPhone 14 and no one can tell me it isn’t Kuromi-themed.
I’m talking lock screen, phone case, home screen, widgets, and icons.
It’s the black and pink/purple pallette that they both sport that makes my brain associate the two.
He’s got a few cracks and scratches from when he hangs upside down and his phone crashes to the ground like a missile.
One of his other lock screens is a pic of Silver when he was a baby and walking for the first time.
Don’t tell Silver, though.
8/10
Super cute.
╰┈➤ Silver
Lilia got him an iPhone 14 too so they could AirDrop things to each other and FaceTime every day for the year Lilia was at NRC without Silver.
Other than that, Silver rarely uses his phone.
His sleep timer is through the roof since he hibernates for most of the day.
He’s got a plain black phone case and everything on his phone is at default settings.
Including home and lock screens.
6/10
Very normal
╰┈➤ Sebek
Wanted to be cool like Malleus and have no phone since he does not wish to partake in the use of technology of human invention.
Instantly takes back that statement once he was out with the Diasomnia dorm and got lost in a marketplace.
Lilia and co had spent hours looking for him. After that, Lilia got him one of those “my first phone” gadgets for kids where the only contact numbers are emergency services and parents and the “parents” can easily access his location.
That way, they can prevent any accidents that creates their very own “Finding Sebek” franchise.
5/10
Very silly.

My first ever Android Smartphone - Busted (Cherry Mobile Jelly) [feat. my Paper Dolls]
DeviantART version → [CLICK ME!]
Hello, August... 🏫🎒 It's been a rough and depressing month for me from nothing to earn funds for myself, to struggling with my life staying at home. 😟😞 Although I do occasionally go outside to get some fresh air when the sun is bright, it remains the same. 😔 I'm still stuck on my mom's slow-performance laptop, and I can't make item reviews because of the aforementioned laptop. 👩💻 Meanwhile, I'm still browsing some job openings, though the only problem was the "lack of trustworthy". I did apply once and I was going to go anyway, however, my mom investigated the details of where the venue at for a schedule, and it turns out that the job that I applied for was a sham... Yeah, I dodged the bullet on going there owning to my flashbacks of what happened in 2019. *Sigh* So much for that... 😟 I wish this type of fraud job would be ended by the time the government and authorities caught red-handed on fake application jobs. Right now, I've already applied for a job by submitting a resume to legit hiring via email, and to this day nobody answered my call. I'm still a helper for my parents' small rug business, although they didn't give me a raise, but small treats and food. Also, I'm selling my scrap computer parts, unfortunately, nobody seemed to be interested in my items... Bummer. 😔
[I want a end my life... But, I refused to kill myself. Not yet... 😟😞]
Should I keep posting and sharing my items on tumblr? 🤔 I'm still thinking about it, but for now this could be my last item... As we hit the first "Ber" month (September 📆), I need to take a break from posting it until my custom PC desktop brought back to life with a brand new GPU Card. 🖥️🔧
Anyway, let's head back to my last item (before I go *semi* hiatus):
• What I have here is my first ever cheap Android Smartphone after I graduated from vocational college [Computer Programing] in 2014. 👨🎓🏫💻 This here is the "Cherry Mobile Jelly". 🤖📱 Actually, it's now simply called "Cherry" which we'll get to that later. Nonetheless, I bought this cheap and small smartphone for ₱ 2,299 💵 from a local trustworthy cellular phone store at the mall, I should it picked the blue color because I loved that color for life 💙, although it is out of stock so I guess I'll settle with green anyway. 🟩📱🤷♀️ (After all, green signifies an android phone, right? 🟩🤖📲 Nonetheless...) As for the specs of this phone, it is pretty low-profile standard considering that this is a budget-friendly smartphone. Here, go see it by click here → [CLICK ME! #1]. Unfortunately, as you can see, my first cheap smartphone ended in 2015 due to poor quality, as I accidentally fell off my phone numerous times causing it to crack the touch screen (not to mention, the battery phone had bloated.), and my Jelly phone ended its life. It was only a matter of time before my old phone was replaced by the outdated "Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2" [GT-S7582] (which was also decommissioned somewhere in 2019). As for the so-called "Cherry" brand, they're still producing smartphones albeit a small ranges because they've already expanded to daily electronic appliances (e.g. slim smart TV, washing machine, air purifier, etc...). Pls, click here to see → [CLICK ME! #2]. One more thing, the only feature really I missed from using the old Cherry Mobile Jelly is the ability to watch TV by raising the mini antenna and opening the TV app, as you've seen on my snapshot. 📺📲😊

• When it comes to comparison with my current Tecno Spark 20 Pro [CLICK ME!] smartphone, well... You noticed the BIG difference. 📱📲 To be honest, I missed holding a small Android smartphone, as holding it could be a very advantage (which is like holding an old MP4 player) over a tall and bulky smartphone, like my aforementioned Tecno mobile brand. 😊 And surprisingly, they're still producing small smartphones albeit in ✌"Made in China"✌ and they're using a vanilla yet recent Android Operating System, unlike Samsung, Huawei, Oppo, Xiaomi, and other giant smartphone brands with their state-of-the-art features and current running Android OS. Maybe someday I'll get my hands on the small Android phone for a nostalgic sake? Who knows? 🤷♀️ For now, though, I guess I'll stick with the taller smartphones. And as for my first ever owned cheap Android phone, it's already a relic of its time. Time for you to return to the memorabilia box. 🙂
Well, that's all for now. If you want to see my previous topic, then please → [CLICK ME!].

i bet mobile phones only have curves screens at the edges to make you drop them more, and make protective cases harder to put on
im here with a fucking Samsung Galaxy s5 and I've never cracked it. No screen protector. I throw this bitch around. Partner got a brand new phone the other month and it already has a crack. he didn't even drop it AND its in a leather wallet case. Difference? My phone, even without its wallet case, has a thick ass metal ridge on the sides.
Not looking forward to getting a new phone, I've been replacing my phones battery since like 2014... but its dying, the screen flashes odd colours when I turn the brightness down and it has burn in... :'( RIP

Dear diary,
I cracked my phone screen it's pretty bad like spiderweb fracture overlay~
Its not the first time something like this has happened cause I am a klutz. But the timing is awful not to mention I checked and service provider no longer carries my particular phone model. I don't want to spend alot on a phone and I have considered totally going rogue and just not having one...~
But it does serve usefulness too, apps with games, reading books online and music etc.~
I'd like an apple phone because they are the ideal of aesthetic cuteness but wayyyy too expensive~
I could go with Samsung brand or maybe Google's phone model?~
The last time my screen was this damaged I picked apart the cracks of glass flecks that were loose and cut myself, somewhat unintentionally but also a little not~
The little bit of blood from scratches wasn't an issue but getting it embedded into skin accidentally and having to remove it like one would a splinter now thats painful. Not a process I want to repeat which means I may or should replace phone sometime this month~
Yay more indecisiveness to deal with!~
I feel fat, maybe am not chubby but I just don't feel skinny/thin or pretty. I want to lose some weight but stupid cravings for carbs and sweets are especially difficult lately~
The hot temperatures keep zapping my energy and slowly sucking the life or motivation to workout away semi effectively leaving the easy prey of napping to occur~
I realized something, it's almost that time of the month for me and while I do have certain longings that want in general in particular during that time of month certain ones get a boosted enhancement of desires for~
Like being taken care of, is it too much to daydream of wanting to wake up to someone picking out outfit to wear, helping style hair, keep me motivated on track with workout, keeping time of schedule while helping me find ways to relax by having me color or draw pictures, basically want to be little sometimes but I am so self conscious, shy and heightened senses of being responsible around others that am not sure could just let go and have fun~
I want to buy a stuffie/plushie or several to have to hug when feeling extra emotional and I've recently considered hand puppets because they look cute and could avoid talking using them to gesture for things but the reality is I doubt I'll ever get them because it's silly for me to want that and they could go to actually children that would benefit from them, ophranges, hospitals for ill patients, secret Santa programs etc.~

How to Find a Reliable Technician to Fix Your Mobile Phone Screen
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/28dfdf5e8a5fadd0a9444f024aa7ffe3/7e058a2f1ff1c720-ee/s540x810/52287077487ed7c27d297d8d2723f7513431c740.jpg)
A cracked or broken mobile phone screen can be frustrating, but finding the right technician to fix it can make all the difference. With so many service providers in the market, it can be challenging to identify a reliable and trustworthy technician. In this guide, we will explore the essential steps to help you find a reliable technician for mobile phone screen repair, ensuring you receive quality service at a fair price.
Check for Certifications and Experience
One of the most important factors when looking for a mobile phone technician is their qualifications and experience. A certified technician with experience in mobile phone repairs is more likely to provide efficient and reliable service. Look for technicians who are certified by reputable training programs and have experience working with a variety of phone models. GR Phones, for example, employs technicians who are fully qualified and trained to handle all types of phone screen repairs.
Research Online Reviews and Testimonials
Before settling on a technician, make sure to research their reputation online. Platforms like Google Reviews, Yelp, and social media can provide valuable insights into the quality of their services. Look for reviews that mention timeliness, professionalism, and the quality of the iphone repair work. Consistently high ratings and positive testimonials indicate a reliable technician.
Inquire About Warranty and Guarantees
A reliable mobile phone technician will offer a warranty on their repair services. This shows confidence in their workmanship and provides you with peace of mind in case the problem reoccurs. Before choosing a technician, inquire about any warranties or guarantees they provide. GR Phones offers a warranty on its phone screen repairs, ensuring that customers feel secure about the service they receive.
Compare Pricing
Screen repair costs can vary depending on the model of your phone and the extent of the damage. It’s important to get a clear and transparent pricing estimate before committing to a technician. Some service providers may try to charge hidden fees or offer low prices to attract customers but compromise on quality. At GR Phones, we provide transparent pricing, so you know exactly what to expect without any surprises.
Check for Specialized Repair Services
Different mobile phone models require specific repair techniques and tools. It’s essential to choose a technician who has experience with your specific phone model. Whether you own an iPhone, Samsung, or any other brand, ensure the technician has the expertise and tools to perform the repair accurately. GR Phones specializes in a wide range of mobile phone brands, making sure that your device receives the proper care.
Consider Turnaround Time
Time is of the essence when you’re dealing with a broken phone screen. A good technician should be able to provide you with a realistic estimate of how long the repair will take. Quick yet efficient service is crucial, especially if you rely on your phone for work or other important tasks. GR Phones prides itself on offering fast and efficient repair services, ensuring that your phone is back in your hands as soon as possible.
Visit the Repair Shop
Visiting the mobile phone repair shop in person can give you a better idea of the technician’s professionalism and the quality of their workspace. A clean and organized shop with advanced repair tools indicates that the technician takes their work seriously. GR Phones has multiple locations where you can visit to get a firsthand look at our state-of-the-art facilities and meet our expert technicians.
Look for Mobile Repair Services
If you can’t find the time to visit a phone repair shop, some technicians offer mobile repair services where they come to your location to fix your phone. This can be a convenient option, but make sure that the technician offering mobile service is reliable and equipped with the necessary tools. GR Phones offers both in-store and on-site repair services for your convenience.
Check Customer Support
Good customer service can make the entire repair process smoother. A reliable technician will be responsive, answer your questions clearly, and keep you updated on the progress of the repair. Before selecting a technician, observe how they interact with customers and address any concerns. GR Phones provides top-notch customer support to ensure that you feel confident throughout the repair process.
Conclusion
Finding a reliable technician to fix mobile phone screen doesn’t have to be a daunting task. By checking for certifications, reading reviews, comparing prices, and ensuring proper warranty coverage, you can make an informed decision. At GR Phones, we strive to provide high-quality screen repairs backed by experienced technicians, transparent pricing, and excellent customer service. Don’t let a broken screen hold you back—trust GR Phones for all your mobile repair needs.

((I'm abt to be all over my draws soon,,,,,,
TL;DR: my kid's phone was insured, we tried to get it replaced, they didn't have it in stock, they replaced it with a better one, which I'm keeping for myself (giving my kid mine)
story time!
so, my kid had an M series galaxy phone, which they threw one too many times and the screen busted (they're on the autistic spectrum and meltdowns can be,,,, alot).
but this was a lil while ago now and they've really turned it around and been coping well without it and not complaining, so i decided that one of their xmas presents could be us getting it fixed/replaced since it was insured and we only needed to cover the excess at £75, which is alot cheaper than fixing the screen off our own back.
well. it wasn't quite that simple apparently. there was a big faff where they apparently sent us an email saying their supplier didn't have that specific phone in stock, so they'd contact us to sort out what we could get instead, but we didn't get it so we were waiting in for the doorstep exchange, and we didn't think it would get sorted in time for xmas, but they did contact us eventually, and they sent my mum an option of 4 phones that they could do instead. S22s...... or for a couple hundred extra we could've gotten into the S23s which is the latest ones, but I can't afford that if I even wanted it
there was a 22, 22+, and 2x 22 Ultras in different colours......
the S22 Ultra costs over £700-1,000 even on Amazon, and upwards of 1,000 on the Samsung website, I got the original M52 5G for £400ish and I think I'm still paying it off on Paypal Credit.
so yeah. I'm getting the most expensive one and swapping my old phone (Note 10, still really good, just a dodgy battery so have to charge it more than their old one, and the screens cracked in a couple places which makes drawing on it a little awkward bc the S pen catches and the pressure's a bit dodgy in spots, not a huge deal though, they love borrowing it and drawing on it)
I don't trust them with a £1,000+ phone. but I'd be silly to pass up the chance to get the flashiest one on the list
(this also means they get my Neko Atsume save, since you can't transfer it. or if you can it was like really complicated)
#ooc post.#.vat file#I'm transferring all my apps and stuff over to the new one atm#not sure if I can switch theirs over to mine though since the old one's screen won't work.......#I'm feeling rly sick all of a sudden I might jsut go to bed;;;;;;#/rant off
