Quinn and Logan might be girlboss x malewife but I like Logan in a servicing way being the top in the bedroom because Quinn does so much she deserves to be pampered and worshipped, no thoughts only husband making her feel good. But yeah they definitely can switch and have fun Logan would love to let her take charge if she wanted and Quinn also loves making Logan feel as good back, its just usually its Quinn being surprised at the end of a long day being a tech inventor by Logan who buys her flowers and then rails her until she can’t think so her brain can rest. He will help her relax and help her feel special
Quinn definitely has earned princess rights considering she works hard, has like two days off all year, and Logan just spends his days being rich and collecting cars 🥲 This man definitely needs to spend some of that free time deciding how best to please his wife (and he definitely does).
They’re the best kind of couple because you know neither of them is left unsatisfied, no matter who takes the leadership role in the bedroom that day.
#quogan#Zoey 102#quinn pensky#Logan Reese#this is specifically about zoey 102 the movie#icarly fics increased after the reboot#will the same happen with zoey 102??#I am an adult#I need actual substance to the romance to continue#their few scenes are not enough

say what you want about the love triangle direction of the show we all saw coming, these first two s3 episodes are the most natural miranda cosgrove has felt in the role since the reboot started
#seriously this has been one of my biggest gripes#because miranda cosgrove was a PHENOMENAL child actress#and specifically as carly she had a way of acting inane (as the script guaranteed) yet making it seem completely grounded and natural#but since the reboot she's felt stiff robotic and like... unfunny#which again a portion of which can be attributed to bad script#but jerry trainer is also working with the same bad script and killing it since the show re-began#so i am VERY happy to see miranda finally settling back into this role#icarly

Theoretical - I come back to the channel after months of being away. By this point, Dad's video has long been back up. I start putting out content towards the end of 2024/start of 2025. Which of these would excite you more?
I'm curious about this, because both videos occupy the same space in my mind... Videos I'd like to do, but I fear by next year interest in the topics will be nearly evaporated.

I just realized today is one year since the icarly reboot was canceled. If I were the same person 8 months ago this would have meant way more to me.

after finishing the part of the Sam and Cat video where the episodes are covered (past the 5hr mark) I have come to a realisation
If you choose to believe the iCarly reboot as the canon timeline of the universe and where the characters actually ended up, we have the answer as to what happened to Sam after we assume that Cat went to some kind of prison for what she did in the final episode.
After Carly returns from Italy, she goes to university in the US, I can't exactly remember where but she does mention that she went with Sam, and she bought her car with her. I doubt Sam actually went to uni as a student herself but it is referenced that the two of them were together during Carly's uni years. An unspecified amount of time after that, Sam joined a biker gang which she is still in to the present day.
Unfortunately it makes sense, unless Sam and Cat had some kind of off-screen disagreement or separation, there wouldn't really be a reason, other than wanting to be with Carly, for Sam to leave to go to uni of all places when she had spent the past 2 or so years doing whatever she wants, but if Cat is legitimately in prison or equivalent, then there's also little reason for her not to go. It gives Cat a pretty concrete ending, even if it isn't pleasant it makes sense that her character needs professional help before she adjusts to the world as an adult.
Personally, I always ignored the final episode because there isn't really any way to write around it unless you address Sam's disregard for Cat and Cat's concerning mental state (which I have seen a very well written interpretation of which made me cry), and I decided that Cat went to some form of music university at the same time Sam left to be with Carly at her university, so they parted ways in a very typical season finale fashion (graduation and a party followed by an emotional goodbye). Because to me that's the most pleasant and satisfying ending that doesn't feel too unrealistic or out of character; their characters aren't stuck together forever but there's potential for their paths to cross again.
I love thinking about how these characters ended up because the ending of Victorious and Sam and Cat is so vague you can pretty much make up anything and say it's canon-compliant - the future of all the characters appearing in the reboot has been canonically decided but other than Sam joining a biker gang, we don't have much else. My favourite headcanon is that Gibby opens Gibby's as an official restaurant and maybe Sam and/or Nevel are involved in running it in some capacity because it finishes Gibby's story off pretty nicely whilst giving a reason for him not being in the reboot (I have imagined that Bots goes bankrupt and he buys that building to open Gibby's just because that's funny to me)
I love all things post-canon, it's my favourite thing to speculate about with any form of media, and fully acknowledging how weird the canon ending of Sam & Cat actually is instead of ignoring it made this pretty interesting to think about
#sam and cat#icarly#victorious#sam puckett#cat valentine#when i originally came up with gibby's ending i completely forgot about his interaction with nevel#in the case that gibby wasn't brutally murdered they could've had a very strange spin off together

How to do a reboot injustice. (What Rugrats 2021 Has Taught Everyone)
Hello once again.
I come back on before the 2nd decade of my annual countdown to revisit a popular entry I did.
6 years ago with the reboot wave cresting, I took a look at what I now realize was its peak (with Animaniacs close behind)
DuckTales (WooHoo!)
How it encapsulates the old with bringing in the new.
Yet the wave despite it cresting San Andreas style still kept going. Although we did get some other great continuations with the notables being ICarly, Doogie KameAloha, Queer Eye, and Twilight Zone 2019. There is one that manages to undo so much in a short period.
Rugrats aired from 1991-2004 with its spin-off All Grown Up going until 2008. In it we saw the babies learn the lessons of life while in their own world and mindset.
With 2 movies that saw the group expand and continue to grow.
But also a finale that just seemed more to fulfill a fanfic than tell what seemed to be building up as a well defined final chapter of a story.
No matter how much 4am pudding or baby doing what a baby has to do we got to see a crown jewel of Nickelodeon thrive.
Until being overtaken by a certain cleanup item from underwater that is now like the energizer bunny.
But here is where this twists. Like the aforementioned SpongeBob spinoffs Paramount+ decided to bring back the babies into the modern era of the 2020s.
Now the main 5. Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil and Angelica keep the same traits and wonder that was prevalent all those years ago.
But our deep dive begins here as changes are made.
Beginning with the aging down of Susie Charmichael. Now no longer the foil of Angelica, she is placed into the playpen with the other 4 as she was intended to have been around the pickles since she was born. Sometimes this is good but she worked as a foil and wise older spirit, now she’s just another member.
Taking her place age wise is Kimi, and although Chas still dates Kira now Kimi is mainly thrown in where Susie once was.
But the big stuff comes with the parents. And surly enough has been said about a certain person who has been written off.
But Howard DeVille deserved better. Especially considering the original that had him meek but caring parental wise. Especially with Betty being the strong willed maternal figure for Phil and Lil.
Also prevalent is Grandpa Lou, who goes from Golden age veteran to Middle Aged spirit.
Even the normal traits of Stu and Didi seem more like box checking than homage to a classic.
There is only so much of a reboot that can be twisted before it actually starts to harm the original’s legacy.
And with Rugrats here that is the case.
Now is this a bad show. No the stories are still good. With the highlights being the recreations of classic moments in the preview shorts that came out before the release.
You have an iconic property that has been around 30 years and you just fit them into modern standards. When some were curious to know how those babies would have been if they had grown up into today.
Tommy being a director, Chuckie getting together with Susie and being a risk analyst. Phil doing his own Mike Rowe style look at Americana. Lil with her sense of determination inherited from her mom becoming an entrepreneur. Dil hosting his own podcast on SoundCloud and Spotify about the mundane and weird things in our world.
Even Angelica getting over her upbringing to become an important figure in the world with a loyal duo of Kimi and Harold by her side running her day to day operations. That would have been far more interesting to see.
More so if they continued to stay close and have a next generation of their own to have their own adventures like they once did.
All that we could see glimpses of here potential for something better but bogged down in 2 things that play large into calling this injustice.
Familiarity and modernization.
(Note I have no issues with characterization here I’m just pointing things out as I see them.)
And I’ll see you all in November for the countdown.

4 characters that have the same mbti as you: ENFP (Extremely Nice Fun People)
1. Jo March, Little Women (2019 - specifically this version!)
2. Lady Bird, Lady Bird (2017)
3. Jessica Day, New Girl (2011-2018)
4. Spencer Shay, iCarly (2007-2012; 2021-) Kinda wanted to make this 4 Saorsie Ronan characters with the same mbti as you... (spencer absolutely counts as not being from a kids show anymore with the reboot, its actually pretty decent everyone should watch it) Tagging anyone who wants to do this!

I'm so disappointed about the Wizards reboot. Idgaf about Justin, or his kids. Where's ALEX!!!! I don't want guest appearances, I need my beloved witch on my screen every episode.
Same! Idgaf that Selena Gomez is producing, either. Alex is the main gem of the OG show. Add this reboot to the crappy reboot list, including...
The Conners, That 90s Show, How I Met Your Father, Fuller House, Girl Meets World, iCarly, Raven's Home, etc.
I'm just glad the Aussie reimagining of The Office was canned, because that one seemed like the literal worst. And The Conners, That 90s Show, and Wizards are all clearly discarding established canon in order to have a teenage lead of the desired age (and a kid from the desired couple, in the case of T9S).

the way i haven’t even seen the entire reboot (s1 looked good i just don’t want to watch a continuation without either gibby or sam bc the atmosphere and the icarly fictional universe isn’t the same without them, understandable why either actors don’t want to be in it ) and just snippets of what they’re doing with season 3 and making it all about creddie and i saw their whole argument before what seems to be when they get together -
freddie literally was in the right, he had every right to be upset at carly there between when he visited her in italy and carly laughing at the fact that someone said they were a couple.
and i adore carly, i’m more like her than any other character in the original show. she’s my fav gummy heart eater and she’s so sweet and kind. people should cherish her more when it comes to the original icarly. she has her moments though where you’re just like “huh???” with her (just like you do with moments with freddie, sam, gibby, and sometimes even spencer)
but also to stick up for carly a little bit,,the kiss in igoodbye was closure between both of them, if anything it proved he wasn’t that upset she was leaving if he was throwing his hands up in victory after she kissed him bc he wouldn’t be acting that way if he were heartbroken.
and why have they not mentioned at all that freddie dealt with his senior year of hs without sam or carly?? both of them were not in seattle while he graduated, he only had spencer and gibby to bond with during that time.
(also what happens with millicent in s3? where are her scenes and storyline?? she’s legit the only reason i’d consider watching the reboot)
i can’t reply for some reason so for people who have been politely telling me stuff, ty it’s kinda given me a new perspective on things but i’ll probably still never watch the reboot, just because i am v stubborn ( seddie still is my fav i can’t change my mind on that, i love them together still and miss them too much to watch carly and freddie happen (i’m bittersweet about the reboot in general but that’s also bc i prefer reunions if you can’t have a full cast back for a show which in this case can not happen bc jennette will never come back and why would she when she’s thriving with her own preferred career now and she’d probably not want to continue a character’s storyline when playing that character caused her some trauma)
i’m not a person who likes to bash on other ships so i’m happy for whoever is happy with this reboot, i just won’t be watching it bc i will not be happy w/ it (i might give my opinions but i’m never actively bashing people for shipping who they ship. it is just a piece of media and i’m just a headstrong and stubborn person shipping who i ship :))
#cat’s personal posts#icarly thoughts#i don’t ship creddie at all but this is just plain confusing because their points in the argument make sense by connecting what’s canon i

I haven’t watched the iCarly reboot, but by far the funniest thing about it to me is that everyone looks [somewhat] older while Jerry Trainor’s somehow been the same age for the last 20 years.

Maybe this is just me being autistic but I really don't understand why there's this unspoken rule in hollywood that if a voice actor on a cartoon dies or quits or gets accused of some sex crime so you have to fire them, you can just recast their role, but if the same happens with a regular actor on a live action show, recasting isn't even a consideration and you have to either write their character out or cancel the show entirely if their character is too absolutely necessary to be written out. Like, I haven't watched Rick and Morty in like a year and yet when I saw the trailer for season 7 the difference was immediately noticeable, and that's when they put their best effort into recruiting sound-alikes, with his other role on Solar Opposites they didn't even try and cast a guy who sounds like Josh Strife Hayes and we're all supposed to accept that Korvo sounds like Josh Strife Hayes now. (sidenote: British people, can you tell what part of England Josh Strife Hayes is from by his accent?) But on the other end, when Jennette McCurdy refused to reprise her role as Sam Puckett in the iCarly reboot for very valid reasons, instead of just recasting Sam, which this would be an ideal case for because we last saw these characters a decade ago as teenagers so they're already going to have changed a lot, they wrote Sam out and had to make a bunch of really awkward changes to make up for the lack of Sam that made the whole show suck and not feel remotely like the original. The place where this absurdity culminates IMO is The Orville, where from what I gather, Seth McFarlane started dating one of the other actors, but they broke up and didn't wanna work with each other anymore, so they wrote her character out and then in the next episode had her be replaced with a new character of the exact same species with the exact same personality who even looks basically the same, like the trope where someone's tabletop RPG character dies so they plop down a new character sheet with the exact same stats and say it was their twin sibling. Like, I really feel like the character looking slightly different now would've been less illusion-breaking than her quitting her job and then the position immediately being filled by an effectively identical person who looks slightly different.

I just realized that today is the anniversary of releasing this video.
I was sure at the time, and I'm even more sure since, that the only reason I was able to do The Big Cleanout™ was because I pre-processed so many of those emotions with this video.
I know that sounds weird to say about a video that talks about Harry Potter, Sex and the City, Spider-Man, and the iCarly reboot, but I promise it makes sense.
I have seen A LOT of videos by other creators that touch on a lot of these same points, but I feel like I come at them differently.
If you've never watched any of my work, this is the one I want you to see the most.
Like, subscribe, and share and all that good stuff if you liked it.
